hey everybody welcome to a mythical episode the unbox boys I’m Dave alone my son Elias hello why is it mythical because today we’re meeting rhett and Link okay so maybe you’re wondering what how did this happen what’s going on with rhett and Link well as I’ve mentioned in other videos before my job is as a voice actor I do voiceovers for commercials and all kinds of stuff so and this is kind of our hobby unboxing toys opening up a little geek a penis all the time something I get to do with my son of my family so my family and I maybe about a month ago we’re at home in the evening probably binge watching Little House on the Prairie because that’s just where we’re at right now I love its by the way and my wife kind of yells out honey Rhett link want to meet you this out of nowhere really what are you talking about we’ve been fans of rhett and Link for a long time good mythical morning we’ve got a mug the whole whole Schmeer so what had happened was somebody had sent her a message on Facebook friend of hers with a link to a video from Rhett links good mythical more channel which is kind of a channel where they film stuff after the stuff they film on good mythical morning and the video was titled playing electronic battleship game something very close to that I’ve got a link in the description down below so you can see that original video so we start watching the video and they’re playing electronic battleship and one of the things of electronic battleship is it has voices on it same things like the battle has begun and things like that so they notice a voice over in the game and they kind of perk up and they start talking about who is about this voice guy V’s probably somebody from Ohio and they go off on this whole thing it’s pretty funny and we’re excited because it’s my voice it’s something I did for Hasbro like five years ago and so I know that’s kind of cool but then they keep going on throughout the course of the video we the same we need to find this guy this this voiceover guy because he’s killing it and we want to have him on the show take him out for a night on the town and talk to my kids and get them to respect me all this hilarious stuff it’s really funny and they say tweet me you know battleship voice game over so so we’re all excited I’m texting friends we’re posting it on Facebook sharing the video and friends and family are getting excited about it but then we notice that it was published posted last August six or seven months ago from the time that we were watching it so that were like it was a little deflating cuz we figure well this is so last year for these guys they’ve moved on to other things and this is probably not even an interest to them anymore but I do that anyway I tweet a tweet them like a message them on Facebook I email whoever is part of their they’re booking their publishing whatever producers and then the mythical beasts which are fans of rhett and Link on Twitter started taking off with it getting very excited about you know we found the battleship voiceover guy because I posted a little video with a sample of me doing the battleship voice because in the comments section of that video there are all these other people saying oh I’m the Belgian voice guy no on the battles of voice guys like no I’m the battleship workers so it went off for a few days and they were saying rhettandlink you gotta have these guys on nothing happened then just we kind of said well that was cool least they were very kind and nice encouraging what they were saying then out of nowhere get a tweet from rep and it says something to the effect of glad somebody finally showed you this and that was it it wasn’t hey get in touch with us or we’ll be in touch or any of that it was just kind of hate you’re glad glad you finally saw this so like alright let’s cool and we just kind of let it go so then maybe a week or two ago a couple weeks ago maybe get an email from a couple of their producers saying hey would you be interested in being on ear biscuits or threatened link ear biscuits is their podcast which now this season is actually a video cast as well that they do on their a you mind we’re going to be airport a videocast that they do on another channel of their is called this is mythical and so they said you know if you’re not in LA it’s fine we can do it on skype them I said no all I’ll come down though we’ll be on is it okay if I bring my wife and kids they would love to meet you there big pants yeah sure come on down give me a tour of the studio and all that so that’s why we’re sitting in the car right now we’re about t-minus an hour and a half from actually sitting down with them and doing the podcast we’re gonna go meet rhett and Link it work said you guys decided yeah so uh we’re gonna do that right now so let’s go check it out all right here we are inside mythical entertainment and an undisclosed location somewhere in the United States of America get ready for the podcast hey we made a little friend mo here hey hello for you are you nipa Calliste the mythical kitchen there’s lots of good mythical morning lows in here oh yes we gotta tour welcome to the mythical universe see ya good Skeeter now it’s kind of peeking around here I think it goes oh you only thinking around a little bit yeah just a little we’ve got out of impedance tape ok I’m going right to the heart of it earth to be a boring seven conference room right this is the mythical dark room the mythical one mythical male Museum okay College at this point because it’s cool and this in here is where they is where all the gmm stuff is built and cooked it’s not alleged the shelves are knit I’m still just one good you know monster oh yeah I’m a filled with action movie scripts yeah this is we’ve got Oh a lot of our state cakes for some more okay I can’t reveal with that it’s alright so this is uh this is our good mythical basement this is where the desk goes this is the yellow line this desk goes here but it’s not here because there would have been some sort of pulley system okay see once it once you saw once you start filming I’m now talking to whoever this is I’m not talking to you sir that way he does not break whatever they’re doing that was a little weak we got to give it a go for it finish card you can every oh yeah that’s the sound we all know and love whimpers all right let me see you win fake you just want something and then like you’ve won something because you hit an accident I’m both I’m multitasking you okay you just wrapped up the broadcast so much fun thank you yeah thank you Matt let’s see how you all do in boxwoods fans hey boys hey guys just a boy yeah big boy what can a everybody know yeah oh man we got swag I mean you gave it flag but like that cuz we got the Star Wars shirt oh yes it is the bar thank you much good thank you that one for you they gave up to you okay yes I want it swag him Ritz beard oil some lip down there I’m right there okay and some t-shirts hi one against the morning got a hoodie there the pants oh yeah you got none that – you don’t stick your new friend yeah we’re spending those links on it it’s not easier I keep mixing them up sorry link that’s almost wink they’re like one seed they’re like one person just two faces so I was like rhettandlink just one person be your mythical best some of those add some stickers as well so we had a great time and I wouldn’t say that the staff and rhettandlink or so very nice there were everybody no nice showed us around the whole place just had a great time very accommodating very nice so thanks friend link and everybody who works would you think is really tiny it’s really tall he’s like what six seven very strong I heard you as tall as I was imagining that that link would be shorter but he was you saw lured me like six impetus you have solution I was the shrimp so nobody hit like six one yeah so but anyway it was a lot of fun the podcast of ear biscuits the video podcast is in a
