enumerated dates what most people know the date so I’m trying to come up with a way to like spice it up it’s like wow I I knew what year it was but wow I’m I’m thinking of it in a new light this morning mission accomplished link do you think this shirt looks like a Safari shirt like I’ll put this shirt on this morning I was like it kind of it looks like a blue Safari shirt it could be a safari shirt in like an alternate dimension or another planet where there are Navy leaves you know is that what safari shirts are supposed to blend in it’s like camouflage I like with this hand you don’t want the animals to see you you want to safaris are all about running up on animals and riding them like camels wild camels and well they’re hassle the reason why I bring it up is because we are going on a safari of sorts Rhett well I haven’t thought of it like that but you see you see where I’m going with this no well yeah you’ll figure it out later by the end of this episode it will all come together and just think back about me mentioning safaris and you’d be like yeah I know what you mean now link is 2011 everything you say ultimately you are you right I don’t know how you’re relating it to a safari but I do know where you’re going because I’m going with you we are gonna make some more local commercials if you’ve been watching rhett and Link videos I’m Rhett he’s link this is good morning Chia Lincoln this is a morning show we do this is the last week of the show but that’s another story hello we’ve got a lot of other videos we’ve made a lot of videos and some of our favorite videos that we’ve ever made our local commercials you seen them you enjoy them yes yes I’m asking them but you do you have seen them and you also enjoy them yeah III make I have fun making them and I make fun of myself for having them yeah so a couple years ago we started this this idea of going out and making real local commercials for real businesses if you haven’t seen these commercials we’re going to put a link to the playlist of all the ones that we’ve actually made previously well don’t put it don’t put it right there I’m gonna put it over my face it’s gonna be other the whole time that you put it down there when just put it at the end of the video put it in front of your face I don’t case don’t distract the it’ll come at the end of the video just don’t put it in front of my face okay okay so anyway that’s why we need your help we’re taking more nominations we need to know from you where we should go what businesses we should market in the form of the glorious art known as the local commercial and we’re going to be focusing our efforts in the western part of the United States so especially if you know of local businesses in a California Arizona Nevada Oregon Washington ish areas let us know we’re making it very simple this time all you have to do is leave a comment below this video wherever you’re watching this video and so well and you could talk like this when you make a comment because this is how people usually comment they’re like can you guys ever heard of a freaking connecting fight well that’s for another time but my favorite business is Don’s hot dogs in Bellevue Oregon my uncle works there I think will be cooler loved to see you guys that kind of thing you cannot comment below and you can use that voice where your comment here is that upset you link as your uncle is that is your uncle work at Bellevue I just feel like we want their help and your your kind of insult it’s like a backhanded okay you know it’s like a backhanded request for for help ready link I’ve done a lot of thinking and I would like to nominate my my friend’s business this it’s in Bellevue is there a Bellevue Oregon just just forget about it I mean you forget about what you’re doing now use whatever voice that you want to use when you come in fact don’t even use a voice just type it and think it don’t even don’t even speak and and then wait for us to read it because we will read all of these comments here’s the thing wait you know a lot of people like to nominate businesses just because they have a funny name but really the thing that we’ve discovered over the course of making these you know 14 local commercials that you can watch right now and be inspired by yeah um the thing that we’ve learned is that it all comes down to the characters okay if you have an owner of a business or an employee or a certain set of customers that are real characters that’s what those are the building blocks that we love for a great local commercial like Legos or you should know this is this is how we this is how I build them did you have an energy drink this morning so what I want you to do is I want you to think about businesses maybe you work at a business maybe you own a business maybe you ask by business maybe you frequent a business yeah and you know someone they’re all that guy is crazy or that woman is awesome or boy there’s she is one of a kind just unique people that you would like to see us interact with you know if it’s a funny business if there’s something unique about the business hey you know that’s even better it’s even better because unique people own and operate unique businesses so that that’s kind of how it ties together and you know we you can see in the the playlist that we’re going to put it into this video over links face all the businesses that we’ve been to but we’ve got some businesses in mind that we would like to make commercials for that we’ve got some ideas for and we’d like to explore and those are I’m going to read these so I don’t get them wrong we want to make a commercial for it like a small town police department you got a connection with a small town police department you’ve got an in there and they like some sort of commercial made for the police department by us let us know a a mattress store we can do something with that especially I’m hoping for a place where I’ve seen a lot of mattress stores together like in like a like a mattress district I’ve driven down roads in some even small towns and it’s like there’s a mattress store and there’s a mattress store and there’s a third one just like I would love to somehow you know work with all three if there is a high concentration of mattress stores in an area let us know independent jewelry store not a chain just like a mom-and-pop owned jewelry store tell us about that a bail bondsman a gas station in the middle of nowhere you people out in Arizona Nevada you know somewhere in California if you if you know of a just a gas station that’s like 50 miles this way in 50 miles that way it’s just a gas station in the middle of nowhere we want to make a commercial for one of those a pet motel a private eye a bowling alley but maybe two rival bowling alleys in the same small town we can make one commercial for each one of them a butcher you know a good butcher with personnel we could we could find a vegan restaurant yeah and a butcher and and see how those interact with each other make a couple of commercial either way you’re thinking link so you get the idea we need your help we want to come wherever you’re at or wherever you know people we want to make some commercials for you I mean you think about the first place we want to make local commercials High Point North Carolina first place we went TDM Auto Sales we found Rudy the Cuban gynecologist American auto salesman literally four blocks away was Red House furniture what we’re black people and white people buy furniture dress you know small town furniture capital the world is high point we didn’t you know it but we found these two businesses there but it was all about those characters so hopefully you know some people that we should make a local commercial because we’re looking right in the cotton we’re looking for not only to making commercials but to make some new experiences for us so listen people we got our butts tattooed for local commercials we sat around and waited for an elephant to defecate for an entire afternoon at a zoo in Florida we actually went on a repo mission and which link was nearly killed by an old man what what did the woman keep saying she kept saying please spare his life apparently the woman whose father’s car we were repossession repossessing thought that repossessing meant killing because she thought that the repo man was there to kill him I thought that too I was I had a heightened sense of danger we want to create some more stories if we can come back at a later time on a show not unlike GMC and we can talk about it so do you remember when that happened don’t worry goodness we like to make memories together that’s sort of me and links personal friendship motto you remember when you got your hair cut by those Utah girls for two dollars making memories together rhett and Link that’s what I wrote in links yearbook every year link I so enjoy making memories with you well making memories alongside each other kind of making dual memories makes me feel more comfortable if you said it like that way so you understand a comment below and we will see you listen
