guy and I think a lot of things I think a lot of thoughts about a lot of things we did released a music video yesterday go and check it out we’re gonna talk a little bit about that in the thought process that led to I am a thoughtful guy feel free to share in the comments what are the thoughts that you have that you found that you now share with us because you listened to our song these these were sincerely our thoughts well a couple of things might have been things that we just did for comedic effect but maybe less than you would imagine because as we’ve established we’re getting weirder by the day and the thoughts that we have are pretty weird now before we get into the thoughts like to give a shout-out to Chris Crutchfield and Pierce cook thanks for letting us shoot at your house and make this video we shot it all in like six hours I’d say six hours yeah all in their house they live pretty close to us and Pierce is the proud owner of a red epic camera if you know anything about video you know that that’s a nice camera that we can’t afford but we can afford to be friends with Pierce and Chris and use the equipment if you find the hidden annotations in the video I think there’s what six approximately if you find the 25 hidden annotations if you haven’t found them all just keep like keep watching and for watching over again again and again new ones may pop up anytime you’ll see how we just use different parts of the house and it’ll give you some context for for the sets that you know I was really happy with how it turned out really cool well the we hike really cool idea made it cool that was our goal to be really cool the idea behind the video at least the presentation of the video was to do something that really focused in on the lyrics and what we were saying unlike rub some bacon on it one of our most recent music videos where we actually physically demonstrated every single thing that we said if we talked about mononucleosis oh let’s get a shot of Rhett in the bed with Charmander you know and let’s rub bacon on this and rub bacon on that we said let’s take a different approach and let’s just make it look good and film it and just we want you to just think we want you to be thinking about these things in the way that we thought of them as we conceptualize them when you think your brain grows in volume and if you think too much you die that’s why I don’t think a lot no it’s it’s more of an electrical thing than it is like a physical growth I think yeah at least I hope so I think that’s incorrect theory but that’s one of the things that I think about where they’re not your grain your brain grows like I’m like a muscle no I said yeah yeah cause it’s like work you work out your brain hot dogs is there a time when you eat a hot dog that you don’t think I wonder what’s in this hot dog I think about a hot dog while I’m eating it but then a pause because I’m thinking about its ingredients that line is really more about identifying with people because I know there are a lot of people who your wife won’t even eat a hot Christy has ever know you know what I take that back she never ate a hot dog until we went to vicious dogs you know the place in North Hollywood where we made the commercial and he explained what was in his hot dogs and how you know it’s got some pristine dogs and then she ate one it’s like there’s no gallbladders in there you thought you’re fine to eat it – first hot dog she ever ate was very recently yeah and gopher you know but she had she doesn’t eat one since then it’s eating you just the thought of it but that that thoughts are powerful to know that line in the song that link actually rats could you wrap it for us about McDonald’s because I really like the way you flow link I can’t I can’t remember I think about how I could get on the local news if Pastrana – and McDonald’s are stripped down nude this is an actual thought that I had yeah you wrote this line in the past year or two I was actually at a McDonald’s with my wife and family and ice leaned over to Jessie it could just hit me I said do you know that I could if I wanted to I could guarantee that I would be on the local news tonight she was like whatever I said I guarantee you if I just got out right here in the McDonald’s and just got naked right now in front of everybody I guarantee you not only would I be all over the internet but I would be on the local news cuz that’s the kind of thing that makes it and could be on the national news but definitely on the local news so the woman would be like may I take your order sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry well no I don’t think you apologize she’s probably call an authority of some kind and having me escorted out with rubber gloves I can’t say that I’ve ever been in McDonald’s or any fast-food restaurant and pondered the possibility of getting naked I can’t say that and I don’t think you should brag about where you don’t aspire to be on the local news in the with the intensity that I do no I don’t and I’m fine with that I gave you the choking on ice line I wrote that one think about if a friend we’re choking on the ice just be patient with me the best advice I’ve got this life because I was choked on ice once and what went back when I had a stepdad I just don’t how does that publish it like was it rough edge back when I had a stepdad this is this this story starts with a stepdad Jimmy he stuck it in there he was like an insurance salesman guy we went to an insurance salesman convention and they were at one of those breakout sessions in a hotel and in the back they had water cups and a big big urn full of water but then they had ice beside it and I call it an urn that’s what they put ashes in a urn in like a coffee it’s coffee urn really yeah okay a water earned and they remember I scooped up this ice beside it and I didn’t notice the shape of the ice until I drank some water and one piece of that ice but oh right here and the ice was shaped like a disc it was like a disc it was like a quarter it was like a quarter if we turn it sideways it was just like a 2 centimeters thick and this and I was sitting in the back and there was a meeting going on they were talking about insurance there’s about a hundred people in the room riveting and it was a glow and it got caught right there but it got caught this way so I could still breathe and so I remember thinking I was embarrassed and near death and I remember thinking I just have to be patient you must have a rough inner lining on your throat or something they can catch ice well if it’s a windpipe right I mean it went down my windpipe a little bit really choking is when it not when it goes down your esophagus when it covers up your windpipe big bright but it went sideways so I could still breathe and now you know I just got a little water in my lungs or something but I like it was like oh and then it eventually came up but you did but you did did not wait follow your advice I didn’t get out a blow dryer or wait for it to melt or something I didn’t have a blow dryer handy even though they do have those in the hotel room what about whittling now you wrote the whittling line and when I read that when I was like oh this is great but I can’t imagine I never think about whittling what made you think of that well okay in the process of writing this song I mean part of it was some of these things we individually have thought about you thought about choking on ice I’ve thought about getting naked in the McDonald’s thinking about it right now give me a second but then there are some things that we just had to write a rap I mean we had to get a rap that was the full length rap oh oh so you come and clean you never thought about whittling no I went down to the coffee shop and I just started racking my brain and really thinking and I don’t know something I don’t know was thinking about was it there was a dude in the corner Whitley no I just the star VII about whittling I don’t know how to go to the Starbucks and wood or soap into ducks this is Sean Connery and I was thinking yeah he old guys Widow and it just gotta hit me whittling is something you start when you get old but seriously if I started now if I really did start me and now that I think about it I could get awesome at it and then it would be like you know just many I’m gonna outlive my wife who knows that maybe I’ll be like an 87 year old bachelor in the nursing home and the only thing I’ll have to compress the ladies will be my wiggling skills compress the ladies impress the ladies and I’ll be like you were ready for a compression I can make a dog out of soap okay you wanna see what else I can do compress a lady Wow the sleep shake you know I wrote the one about the sleep shake a little bit of trivia for those of you committed mythical beasts we have reference to sleep shake vaguely in one of our previous videos challenge if you if you can find the reference I don’t even do the sleep shake and here’s the hint it’s not a verbal reference that’s my head well lastly let’s talk about the colour perceptions no I know that you and me see the same colors the same way when you and me see is my red blue for you on my green your green – could it be true we see differing use and then how would we discover this back hundreds of comments since releasing this we have seen people say I think about that color thing all the time I think about it yeah I thought I was the only one who thought about it but I think about it too so apparently everyone thinks about this do we see colors the same you know I did a little research on this but it turns out that the science is kind of all over the place on this so if it’s like this it’s kind of like it’s hovering but it turns out that people probably do perceive colors in the same way your yellow is probably yellow to me unless you have like a colorblind like there’s a malfunction going on your brain and you’re colorblind but you’re the ability to decipher different shades in different different shades of different colors is something that varies from person to person that some people have an incredible ability to let look at – yellow shirts that are very similar and say that one is more of a maze maze you know from the Crayola and that one is more of a so on so it’s like Christy says I want to I want to paint this room a different color we go to the lows of the Home Depot or whatever and you see all the different color palettes I’m like she’s like I think I want a yellow and I’m like whoa those are all yellow just pick one I’ll be glad to paint it and I and I think that women actually have better color perception than men and there are some women I saw in one study can perceive you and I can perceive about a million colors but there are some women out there that can perceive 100 million colors and they’re called like I know it’s called some kind of supervision or something I’m not making this up they’re probably women only some women in its rear and they don’t know that they have the ability the scientists say they don’t know that have the ability cuz they just think oh I look at linked shirt and I see 17 different yellows well that’s normal it’s normal yeah right how would we discover this fact and even if we did would it have any impact who knows I don’t think it would affect us personally what kind of stuff do you think about I mean I personally think there’s room for a sequel to the thoughtful guy rap because there are so many things that we continue to think about all you need to do is think about some more rap some more it could happen what kind of stuff you know what happens when we promise a sequel yeah we don’t ever do it shout out
