GMM 1247.3: Christmas Nachos Taste Test

(playful theme music) – You know why Santa’s got a jiggly belly? – Probably is genetics, he never really had a shot. – No, it’s because there’s tons of good foods around the Christmas holiday. And why make our own Christmas dishes when we can just make yours. It’s time for, What’s Your Hack: Christmas Edition. That’s right, we asked you to tell us your Christmas hacks so that we could be the guinea pigs, and eat them. Alright, first one comes from Facebook, Katie Pilant said, candy can waffles, some shattered candy cane in the whipped cream, bit of pepperminty extract in the waffle batter, – No, pepperminy. There’s no T. – Well I know what she meant. – I think that’s different Link. – No, it’s well– – Pepperminy. – And a drizzle of that leftover chocolate candy stuffing stocker, she had a little keyboard trouble. – We know what what you mean. – Stoffing, I can’t even say it now. – Stoffing stocker. – Stocking stuffer. You got a hella boss waffle. – She got that part right. – She got that right. – She got hella boss waffle, right. – Hella boss waffle. – Let’s look at this thing. – We made a hella boss waffle. – We have created this thing all the way down to the pepperminy extract. Link let’s dig right into this. I mean how could this not be good? I want to cut towards myself, but I’m gonna cut towards y’all so you can see how beautiful this is. – Oh yeah, that’s really beautiful, get a cross section of it. I’m just gonna do this right here, in terms of cross section, there’s nothing better than cutting right in the middle, and then– There we go. I cut it in the middle, and now I have to cut it again. – Just eat it mean. – Just eat it. Eat it. – I don’t know how you’re gonna feel about that. You’re gonna say, it could’ve been better without the peppermint. – I love it. – It’s really, really, really, really good. – I love the pepperminty-ness of the waffle. No, it is good. That’s a good idea. Never too late to get your peppermint on. We started early, and we finished late when it comes to the peppermint. We destroyed that thing. – We have another one. Next up, WGladstone on Twitter tweeted, Christmas nachos, red salsa, white sour cream, Christmasy. That’s a great seed of an idea, but that the kind of just sounds like normal nachos, with some red and white stuff on ’em. We’ve gone to the next level. We have a full Christmas dinner on top of nachos. We’re talking stuffing, roasted Brussels sprouts with carrots, ham, turkey, yams, caramelized onions, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, cheese sauce, and shredded cheese, and to wash it all down, two glasses of egg nog. – Dang, that’s a hella boss nacho. I mean look at this, that’s a ham nacho. – That’s a ham nacho. I don’t know where to grab. – I smell Brussels sprouts. There’s one. – Oh gosh, look at that, that’s a whole nacho. – No that’s a– – That’s a piece of meat. – That is turkey. – That’s just a piece of turkey. – That’s turkey. – But I’m gonna put it on a nacho to justify just eating it like this. – As picky as I am, I actually love food that’s mixed, you might not expect that from me. But I just love the strategy of making a perfect bite that has a little bit of everything that I love. – This is a genius idea. – [Link] So this is just really good. I’m gonna bite this, then I’m gonna bit this, and I’m gonna create a perfect bite. – I just enjoy, I’m just enjoying myself. I’m not thinking about enjoying myself. – Oh yeah, let me grab one more, get a little bit of that cranberry sauce, some gravy. – Let’s wash it all down. – That is a good idea Wayne. – Dink it. – And sink it. – Yeah. – Low calorie, too, which is great. – Thank you to our winners, Kate and Wayne, we are sending you both signed Christmas ornaments. – You earned ’em, and we are enjoying your ideas.
