GMM 1255.3: Do Twins Smell The Same? ft. Esther Povitsky | PEOPLE ALSO ASK (GAME)

(GMM theme) – Welcome back! – Let’s give a good mythical welcome to comedian and star of the upcoming show on Freeform, Alone Together, Esther Povitsky! Welcome to the show, Esther. – Hi. Oh, me? – Yep, we’re referring to you, Esther. – Oh, oh okay cool. Hi guys, thanks for having me. Good, I’m excited to be here. – You know about Google? – Oh yeah, I do. I do know about it. – You know, you shouldn’t have answered that. That was the answer type situation. – But do you ever ask any questions into Google? – So many questions into Google, yes. – What, give me an example. – Why is my period late? (laughter) – Google, did they tell you? – They have guesses, but. – Well, congratulations, Esther. Are you giving us news? – No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. – Now, have you noticed when you ask a question into Google that “people also ask” with other questions comes up next to the question that you asked? – Yes, I have seen that. But I’m also always like, well I know what I want to know, so I don’t really pay attention. – Okay, well, maybe you should have been paying attention ’cause that would help with this game we’re gonna play. ‘Cause what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna play People Also Ask, where the way we’re gonna do this is I’ll start by giving the two of you questions that people also ask, and then you’re trying to guess the original question that was entered into Google, and then we’ll swap over and Link will host. – I’ve got a few too. – But you’re always playing the game. – [Esther] Oh, okay, cool. – Cause you’re in the middle. Question one, people also ask, “Can you legally get married to yourself?” “Can you legally marry an animal?” “Is it legal to marry an object?” What was the original question? – I have heard of people marrying objects. – I think I know what the original question is. – Right off the bat? – I do, I think it’s “Can I legally marry my cat?” Because the internet loves cats and questions. And this just smells like a person that wants to marry their cat to me. – Yeah. – Right? – And a cat is very close to marrying yourself, which you can do. – You can? – Yes, I Googled that. – I have good news, I’m engaged. (laughter) Breaking news. – You know what, you’re also correct. (bell) – Really? – It is “Can I marry my cat?” – What? ( Esther screaming) – Oh my god. – ‘Cause I wasn’t gonna agree with you, I’m sorry. – I was gonna say, don’t listen to Link because he’s gonna talk you out of this. – I was like it can’t be that because. Wow, you may be like a People-Also-Google savant. – No, I think it’s ’cause I’ve Googled “Can I marry my dog?” and I just know this one. – Wow, I don’t know if that’s, I should congratulate you or pity you. – Okay, “What part of the ocean do mermaids live in?” “Do mermaid sleep?” guess that’s plural. “What do mermaids do?” So what do you know right off the bat? – It’s about mermaids. Could it be like about “What do mermaids eat?” or “Do mermaids eat?” – ‘Cause “Are mermaids real?” is too simple, right? – That is too simple, I’ll give you that. – Okay. – Whoa, okay, okay. “Do mermaids sleep?” – “What part of the ocean?” Sleep and do. “What are mermaids’ hobbies?” – “Where can I find a mermaid?” “Can I cook a mermaid?” – “If I do, what do they taste like?” Good question. – I think it’s something about mermaid hobbies. – I need a final answer. – “Do mermaids wear clothes?” – Nope. (buzzer) The correct answer is, “Can mermaids die?” – Wow. – Of course they can. I’ve killed a few of them. – I think it’s okay to eat the bottom half of a mermaid– – The fish part. – but not the top half. I think that makes it okay. Okay, give us one. – People also ask, “Is it illegal to eat a person?” “Is there anywhere cannibalism is legal?” – Oh, now we’re on eating people. – And “How do humans taste like?” – Okay, so cannibalism. – People are stupid is another conclusion you can come to by looking what people also ask. – So it’s definitely about eating humans. – “What’s the best part of a human to eat?” – That’s really good. – Yeah, I think that’s it. – No, it’s just (buzzer) “Should I eat a person?” – “Should I?” (laughter) – You don’t go to Google for moral clarity. That’s not how it works. – It’s weird that right before that question we were talking about what part of the mermaid you should eat. It’s so weird, it’s like we knew that question was coming. But we didn’t, I didn’t, you didn’t. – My favorite is “How do humans taste like?” ‘Cause that’s just a lot wrong there. – Gamey, very gamey. – Alright, what have we got, Link? – Oh yeah, it’s my turn? “What do you do if your hamster has diarrhea?” “What are the symptoms of wet tail in hamsters?” “Do hamsters eat their own poop?” – I think this is something’s happening to somebody’s hamster. “Why is my hamster’s butt leaking?” – Yeah, okay, I’ll go with that, yeah. – I feel so strongly about it. – I can’t top it, so. – It’s more personal than that. (buzzer) It’s “Can I get diarrhea from a hamster?” – Well yeah, you just squeeze. – It’s not “Can I get diarrhea out?” – People Googling that are spending a lot of time with just their hamster. – You can get an STD from a hamster. – Alright, people also ask, “Do twins die at the same time?” – Always. – “Do identical twins have the exact same DNA?” – Yes. – And “Can a dog tell the difference between twins?” – Yes, yes, and yes. But I know that’s not the game. I just wanna answer the questions. – “Do all twins look the same?” – Think about the dog. Why is the dog a part of this? That’s the clincher. – “Can dogs have twins?” – “Can animals”– – What are dogs good at? – “Do twins smell the same?” – That’s it! (bell) “Do twins smell the same?” – You’re so good at this! – I mean, I got every hint possible, but I’ll take it. – [Link] That was difficult. – Alright Link, one more. – “What behaviors are considered stalking?” “Are stalkers mentally ill?” “What is considered stalking a person?” – “Am I a stalker?” – Yep, that’s it, “I am a stalker.” – Close. – “Am I a stalker?” – Close. – Did I just admit I’m a stalker? I’m sorry. (laughter) – It’s a little early. This will be Googled the day before you Google that. – “Am I stalking someone?” – “Am I about to stalk someone?” – Close. – “Am I being”– – It’s like you’re not in control of it, like it just happens to you. I woke up this morning with a stalking disease. – That’s our answer. “Am I about to stalk someone?” – (buzzer) It’s “Should I be a stalker?” – Oh, see, yes! – It’s a very good thing to Google. – Don’t be asking “should” questions to Google. That’s the moral of the story here. – No. – No, Google is our moral compass. I think you should be asking Google these questions. – Esther, thanks for playing. – You were very good at this. – Yeah, you got a natural inclination for this game. You should play more often. – Thank you, I lose at everything, so this was a huge deal for me. – And check out Esther’s new show Alone Together on Freeform. – Thank you for liking, commenting, and subscribing.
