Today, we duo. – Or die. – Let’s talk about that. – Let’s talk about that. (playful theme music) – Good Mythical Morning. – Let’s give a mythical welcome to the harmonizing superduo, Superfruit. – Hello. – Hello. – Scott and Mitch, – Hi. – In the house, guys. – Good morning. – Oh wow, such a warm welcome. – Welcome to the show. – Thank you. – Thank you so much. – We are happy to be here. – Really nervous. – We’re really nervous. – You shouldn’t be, – Me too. – Well you actually should be, because we’re all about to do some things that we have absolutely no idea what they are. – I love that. – But before we get into that, we have to talk about the fact that we are kindred spirits in a lot of ways. Not only did you guys also meet in first grade in the South. – That’s true, right? – Yeah, – Yeah. – Well when we were 10, so it’s not like a little first grade– – Oh come on. – Sorry, sorry, sorry. – That’s first grade. – That’s not first grade. – We were kids. – It’s sort of. – When you were kids. Maybe I don’t, did you get held back until? – Maybe, yeah, I started first grade at 10. – The details don’t matter. – But also, the album cover for Future Friends, your new album, you guys are in a motorcycle and sidecar, just like the Buddy System billboard. – No way. – Oh my God. – You guys were first. – Really? – No, no, no, we had the whole thing picked out, and it was awesome, and we’re like, oh, they did it, too. And then we’re like, you know what, we’re gonna do it anyway. – That’s actually kind of crazy, and we kind of look alike. – It really signifies duo-ness to be in a motorcycle and a sidecar. – It really does. – And because of our duo-ness, we are resurrecting a game, it’s time for, Duo or Don’t-o. – Alright, here’s how this works, we’ve got six secret challenges here. A duo will select one of these to be revealed, and then they have the option to duo it, or don’t-o it. And if they don’t-o it, that means they’re passing it to the other duo, and they have to do it. – And if you don’t-o the first challenge, then you have to duo the second mystery challenge that the other person selects, no matter what. Basically, we all gotta do some challenges in each round. – Sounds like a lose-lose. – Boy, it does, doesn’t it. – A lose-lose definitely. – It’s gonna be fun, let’s get to it. (upbeat game show music) – [Group] Round One. – You’re our guests, so you guys can select first. – Okay, we’ll go first. – What are we feeling? – You pick, I don’t wanna pick. – Lot of weird-shaped napkins. – I’d rather it be your fault. – This one looks safe, smaller. It looks smaller. – I’m gonna say number three. – I don’t know if that’s good logic. – Let’s see it, Chase. Eat me. I was just reading that. – What is it? – Sure. – It’s a mysterious beige something, looks like old banana pudding. – It looks like spoiled pasta. – Oh no. – I’m sure you’ll love it. – The stomach is feeling not strong today, I’m gonna say don’t-o. – Yeah, it’s a no. – Oh, okay. – I do not want to eat that. – Pass it over here, Chase. – [Stevie] Hey Rhett, surprise, you have to eat the whole thing. – Oh wow, see, I knew something like that was gonna happen. – What do you mean you have to eat the, it said eat me. – What if it’s really good? It could be pudding. – It looks like a rancid artichoke heart. – There’s like a mystery grace at the bottom. – Oh gosh! It’s durian, it’s durian. It’s that, ahhh! It’s the fruit that smells like dead people. – Wait, pass that over. – No way, I want to smell it. – Oh no, oh no, oh. – I would definitely throw up, there is no chance. – There’s a reason there’s a trashcan down here. – I just got a full-body shiver. – I can’t, – I’m a little under the weather, so I’m gonna have to let you eat half, and then I’ll do the second half. – I don’t know if I can watch this. – It’s freaking, uh. – That’s a huge bite. – Actually, it doesn’t, you want to eat after me? – I’m not eating that whole jar, I’m eating a bite. – It’s actually not, it smells horrible, but it doesn’t taste that bad. – It doesn’t taste that bad? – Put it in your mouth. (Link retches) It’s not bad. – I keep smelling what I’m tasting. – You can’t smell. – He likes it. – The key is to not smell, to just eat it. – How are you doing that? – Do you people eat that purposefully? – I think so. I smell it from here, it smells so bad. – It’s all in your head. – It’s like gasoline mixed, – Stevie, is that enough? – [Stevie] Okay, I’ll take it. – Wow, thank God we didn’t do that. – Close that up. – Thank you. – Now we get to choose, and you have to do it, no matter what it is. – Okay. – Okay. – Five’s my favorite number. – It’s your favorite number? – It’s my favorite number. – What about it? – Just the five-ness of it. – Okay, five it is. Link’s favorite number, you have to do it. – Wax your hairiest toe. That’s possible. – I feel like I have the hairier toes. – You have way hairier toes than me. Do I get to wax? – You’re picking the hairiest toe between the two of you. – We know each other’s toes. – [Rhett] Yeah, Scott you do the waxing. – I’ve never waxed anything on my body. – Oh, this is the wax. I don’t know how to wax things. – How do we do it? – Let’s see a toe. – Let’s see a toe. – I picture your toe looking like your upper lip. – Somewhat. – Should we was his upper lip? – It’s like not bad. – That’s not too bad. – [Mitch] If you did the top, it might be worse. – Go with that tuft right there on the big toe, that’s what you want. Uh, I keep smelling my breath. – I keep smelling it, too. – I keep smelling it, too. – Is that your breath? – Yes. – There is like the residual. – It’s not my usual breath. – But didn’t you like the taste? – I don’t know how to do this right. – The taste was a lot better than the smell. – I’m actually really nervous. – This is some intimate duo stuff happening here. – How long do you leave it on, oh? – Oh, it’s on there. Okay, one, ready, two, – [Link] Oh it worked. – It worked. – That is amazing, look how, look at that. – That is a clean toe, y’all. – That is good. – Amazing. – It’s like getting a tattoo, it looks good, though. – [Scott] It does look good, should we do the other one? – Yeah. – Yeah. (upbeat game show music) – [Group] Round two. – Let’s go big or go home, man. Go with the biggest one. – I don’t want to eat anything. – One? – Number one, number one> – Uno, reenact the lift from Dirty Dancing. – Oh wow. – Well you can’t pick me up, and I’ve got a bad back. – Who’s gonna be who? – We’re don’t-oing this, just to see them do it. – And I would really like to see you guys do this. – Oh wow, – Oh my god. – I think we’re gonna kill it. – Who’s gonna be who, I’m Jennifer Gray. – Of course. – Just head over there and get ready. – Okay. – Okay. – Oh wow, we look amazing. – I mean, here we go. – Oh goodness. – Ooh yeah. – I need to adjust. – Patrick Swayze and, – I look just like him. – I look just like her. – Alright, let’s do it, hit it. – Should we cue it? – Yeah, let’s go. (“Time of My Life” instrumental) – Ready. – Are you sure? – Did we nail it? – [Mitch] That was actually pretty good. – Alright, alright. I didn’t know if it would be one of these, where it’s like. – And then the neck break, I actually felt really good about it. – I felt that we did do it for one second, right. – Just as magical as the original. – It felt good. – In every way. – [Scott] It felt really good. – Alright, now it’s your turn to choose, and we have to do whatever you choose, we have to duo it. – You have to do it. – Duo it, yeah, remember the branding.
