conversation now one of the ways that I’ve been passing the time in my time off which was not really time off at all was I’ve been watching the Olympics I’ve heard of that you know the Rings billions of you across the world that’s a great thing you know a lot of times things happen here in the US and we have we want to talk about him but then we realize that you know the mythical beast kingdom is a worldwide Kingdom it’s like at one let’s say Network well know they’re this like I’m not saying this is Landingham let’s just say it land because that makes us up to be kings well I was you know like the the Wild Kingdom is a bunch of animals they’re a bunch of animals oh not that we’re Kings free-for-all we could be co-princes or something we can we could just go crazy and kill each other like or attack zebras or something and like like two elephant seals like fighting over territory yeah and we just kind of throw our bodies up against each other yeah that’s what they do let’s not do that anyway the Olympics is Saudis a global fun everyone is experiencing it so I’m excited to talk about it I’ve been wanting to talk about it but now here we’re back season two we’re gonna talk about the Olympics now I’m gonna just be upfront and honest and say right off the bat I get emotional about the Olympics now they upset you know I like when the joyous crying when the women’s gym for some reason women’s gymnastics really just get me right there a soul really yeah and I’m watching our five girls and they’re playing that Phillip Phillip song the way back home you gotta realize that you talk globally they don’t play the Phillip Phillip song and they don’t give special attention to the women’s gymnastics well that uh but yeah I am you’re already you’re already out of the kingdom so what yeah but they’re you know but they’re you cry for your people Russia I feel that way about the Russian gymnastics team any go like this and it must knock the window mainly and they’re playing that music and they’re showing the close-ups and they’re talking about the back doors you know the interesting thing is my wife is is that in the computer room she’s on Facebook you know oh that’s a problem yeah she knows what happened already yeah that’s my thing I put the blinders on I want to see it happen you know on the west coast of the United States of Americans we have what you know we’re like the last two here I don’t know exactly how London and time zones work we’re probably not the absolute last but I think something about how it works I could get up in the morning and find out what who’s gonna win that night that’s stay off Twitter stay off Facebook III yes I lit a couple of times but I still watched it because I just i suspend all prior knowledge and I can’t say that I’ve cried or going like this I do that / verbally okay I you know this is a sort of a visual symbol to represent the fact that I’ve been emotionally touched so far by the Olympics and I have teared up several times and I believe that maybe a tear has streamed one tear as streamed its streamed right I write it no I can’t see the reminisce of the stream you showered the stream away I guess now that there is something related to the Olympics that we’ve talked about in the past that I don’t think we’ve shared with you people but now is a great time to do it we you know I maybe it’s the engineer in us or the perfectionist and us or just the fact that we like to talk about things but we’ve talked about the fact that there’s something that could make the Olympic experience better for us as viewers more entertaining more entertaining let’s say so this is our idea take it or leave it let us know what you think about it in the comments okay so this is how I’ll preface it when you’re watching the Olympic race sometimes if it’s really if it’s really strife swimmers yeah did I just say race you said Olympic race Olympic race it’s usually swimming today just the swimmers swimming race they’ll have the yellow line is going ahead or the first person and that represents the world record yeah what so then you know if okay this is the standard if they beat this night and they only get a gold medal but they beat the world record and it’s like one more thing for the commentators to talk about and do this about them to stream this about and all that type of stuff but our idea is actually the opposite of that I don’t want to know what’s the best that’s ever happened I’m really curious to know if an average Joe was involved in this particular event be it’s swimming be it pommel horse scene be it javelin izing whatever the case may be I’m really curious and would love the entertainment value of seeing some average Joe or Jill come out of the stands maybe yeah and just perform and say okay this is what an average person would do so I can appreciate what these Olympic athletes are doing even the worst Olympic athlete blows the average person out of the water well that’s where it can appreciate it without seeing you’re watching these events and you’re like oh that dude screwed up he’s such a loser you have every four years you get a chance and you blew it sucker hmm you know but the fact is if I was out there trying trying to swim I would be like in the middle of the pool like asking for help I would be yelling for rescue by the time because I mean I’ve experienced this over here in a 50-meter pool just trying to get down him back yeah let alone trying to do the butterfly have you ever seen me try to do the butterfly no I’m afraid to imagine it and so we think that you should maybe as somebody who pays a lot for a ticket like they could raise money this way you could be like there’s one ticket sold it for every event that’s like a thousand bucks or five thousand bucks and if you get that ticket you get to be the person who is given a lane in the hundred yard dash or the hundred meter dash you’re given a lane in or you get it you get to throw the shotput you get to get on the pommel horse right and now we have Dave Jenkins who was who won his local radio stay for being : number 12 yeah now he’s going to drape himself over the pommel horse for 30 seconds because that’s the best that he could do after all he’s just average I don’t think you should be buying a ticket it shouldn’t be rich people it should be someone who wins the radio contest they need to qualify it what if I as average oh yeah he’s very average only average people call in a radio contest we already know that right he’s like you know right before he drapes himself over the pommel horse he’s like you know drinking of drinking a carbonated beverage or like he’s got on a suit he just came from work anything listen I got a bet it better Olympia’s don’t drink carbonated beverages I’ve got an idea I don’t think in addition to the average Joe being in every event or the average Jill switcharoo day there should be one day of the Olympics or a switcheroo where they take athletes from one discipline and make them do can you imagine the skeet shooting guy put him on the high bar and you know he’s like well I’m really good with a gun dress no I’m gonna no should still have the gun he’s got the guns they don’t stall what I want to see swinging and shooting look at me I want to see the shot put guy on the balance beam yeah think about that and do I want to see all the shot put guys I want to see every shot put guy from every country on balance beam switcheroo day think about get let the gym that does Jim NAT Jim nice guys they’re like 5 foot 2 put them on the dream team make them represent the US on the basketball yeah that would that would work everybody’s a point guard I love it let’s try it can we is there an email address we can send to like the Olympic Committee if you think that average Joe is a good concept or if you think the switcheroo day is a good concept let’s Lobby we have four years people we can make this happen even if it’s just one event that’s the power we have to talk about these things as if we think they could happen but they won’t really know now you now do you have the power this make this happen just be thinking about this switcheroo day and average or average Joe in every event if you know even if we just make one event one event let’s set it low yeah if we get in one event and 2016 think about what we can do in 2020 yeah let’s let’s set the bar low so the speaker let’s change one event let’s bring out the wheel of mythicality right which as you might notice is a little different in season two it’s spun for a whole month and now it magically has it’s getting a Wheel of Fortune kind of vibe it wasn’t bankrupt now we have secret spots secret spots and underneath these secret spots if it lands on the red link wins a thousand dollars no that’s not what happens because we have to pay ourselves that’s what we’re gonna we’re gonna pull it off we’re gonna read what it is is some liquor some are good and some are bad but
