Today we make monkeys out of ourselves. – Let’s talk about that. (Good Mythical Morning theme) – Good Mythical Morning. – He’s the founder of the lifestyle website BobbyBerk.com, the furniture line Bobby Berk for A.R.T and the hardest working guy from Queer Eye on Netflix. Please welcome to the show, Bobby Berk. (applause) – Thank you, guys. – Welcome to the show, man. – Okay Bobby, now how comfortable are you working while blindfolded? – Well, it depends on what the job is. (laughing) – All right, I feel that. – Yeah, well I don’t know exactly what we’re about to do. – We don’t know the job. – I’ve “worked” with a blindfold on. – Okay. – Okay, well we’re all gonna do that today because it’s time for The 3 Monkeys Challenge, Queer Eye edition. – All right, here we are. Now, one of us in each round will be the speak no evil monkey who can’t talk. One of us will be the hear no evil monkey who’s wearing headphones playing music, and one of us will be the see no evil monkey who will be blindfolded. – Now we have to work as a team to accomplish a series of tasks which we’re told are themed to Queer Eye. I don’t know if that’s gonna help or not. – Okay, cool. – If we complete the tasks, we collectively win a prize which is Bobby will redecorate one thing on our set! – One thing, just one. – We need that one thing. (monkeys chanting) – [Stevie] Wow guys, you look great. – Thank you. – [Stevie] Are you ready for the first round? – No, yes. – [Stevie] Okay, Bobby, you may look at your card in three, two, one, go. (Bobby laughing slightly) – Think I’m gonna do a recipe. – (singing) Listening to music, Bobby’s just reading a card and he’s not doing anything. Come on now. What? Okay. – I’m gonna make something. – I want you to grab a big handful – Yeah! – Of something. – Pudding? – Probably not that. What’s it gonna be? Okay, it’s gonna be six things. There’s six things that you’re gonna grab. Six cups. – Maybe it’s the sixth thing down. – Six cups. All right, we got a measuring amount. Six cups, all right, so come over here. There’s a cup over here. No. Six? (laughing) Six bowls? – Maybe it’s the sixth. – [Link] Go to sixth bowl over. – Sixth bowl over. – Oh, we’re doing like a grid. I’m not gonna count for you. – Is this the first bowl? – [Link] Yeah. – One, two, three, four. Four? Five, six, yeah. – No, not yet. Six. – Six. – [Link] All right, there you go. – I grabbed it. – Now you got a handful of that stuff. – Got it. – [Link] Oh yeah, I know what’s up. Don’t eat it. – Put it on the ground and smash it up. – [Link] Come over here to me. – [Rhett] What? – Because you got this, I can’t, what is this thing called? (laughing) You can’t tell me. This black grinder. – Black grinder. – The Mexican grinder. No. – Yeah, grind it! – Not that! – Okay. – Get the, it’s like an Aztec grinder, there it is. – Oh yeah. – I don’t know how that didn’t break. – A mortar and pestle. – [Link] And what do you want him to do to it? You want him to grind it. – [Rhett] He wants me to grind it. – [Link] Just grind down. – [Rhett] Just grind it. – Just grind it up. – I’m grinding, yeah! – Grind it up. – Yeah, I’m grinding that. – One bowl over. (Bobby mumbling) – Zero bowls. – Zero bowls. – All right, so put your hands flat. Three plates over. Feel for three plates. All right, that’s a bowl, that’s not a plate. – Where’s plate? – [Link] Yeah, there’s a plate. – That’s a plate? – [Link] That’s the wrong one. That’s one, that’s two, that’s three. – Yeah! Grind it. – I want you to grind it. (singing) Squeeze it. You know what that is. – That’s cucumbers, yeah, grind it. – No, no, no. It’s limes. Pull out the limes and squeeze it. (Rhett grunting) You grind up limes in guacamole? – I’m making guacamole? – I think you are. – Oh yeah. – Get all the limes out. Squeeze it. – Squeeze it. – Link He wants you to squeeze them. Bobby wants you to squeeze them. Get your hips into it, squeeze them. Get your back into it, squeeze them. – What do I do now? – Is that it? Now what? – Cilantro? (Bobby mumbling) – [Link] Yeah. – [Rhett] We love cilantro. – [Link] Yeah. – [Rhett] Yeah, some cheese? – [Link] Not that. He says no. Oh okay, bowl. Bowl number two. – [Rhett] Right here. – [Link] There you go. – [Rhett] What’s that? – (singing) Throw it in there. Just throw it all in. – That smells like yogurt. – [Link] There you go, grind it. – [Rhett] Why not? Grind that. – [Link] Grind it up. – [Rhett] At your service. People would pay to see this. – We just need you to sprinkle salt and pepper. – Yeah, where’s that? – Oh yeah, there you go. Yeah, there it is. I can’t read them. Just grab that plate and sprinkle it. Oh, that’s a lot of salt. Grind it up. Is that it? All right, we got it. Nope… – [Rhett] Got to grind it some more. – Somebody needs to taste it. All right, feed it to me. (jungle music) Okay. (laughing) Be still. (singing) Hold up. (jungle music) – How’s the guac? – That’s salty. (clapping) That is not good guacamole. – [Stevie] You guys did it. – It’s so hard not to speak. (laughing) – We made it. – But it’s so hard not to speak. – It looks great ’cause I grinded it. – Yeah? You grinded it well. – Cooking ain’t easy. (monkeys chanting) – [Stevie] Okay boys, round two. On the count of three you’re gonna look at your task card, Link. Three, two, one. – Okay tell me things. – What’s happening? – Or show me things. Show me some things. – [Bobby] Can I start feeling some stuff? (slight laughing) – Okay, short guy. Danny Devito. All right. – What? – To your left you have some cutouts of people. Take the shortest one. Left and behind you, that’s a cake. Right there, yeah, that’s Danny Devito. Yeah, you got Danny Devito. – What do I do with him? – Just hold on to it. (laughing) You want to put him in the chair. – There’s a chair? – You want him to wrap Danny Devito around himself? (slight laughing) Make him into a stairs. Yeah, yes. (Link mumbling) No, no, stop, don’t hurt Danny Devito. – Bobby This is so hard. – He’s around, his head. Okay, he’s flat. – Oh, stairs, I feel stairs. – Yeah, you want to put him on that. – [Bobby] Stay, Danny, stay. – You want to bend him over it? Bend him back over it? – What? – I don’t known what this is. – I don’t know if I wanna do that. – Hand, karate chop. (cardboard smashing) (laughing) – I don’t know what’s happening. (Bobby laughing loudly) Danny is in the stairs. – [Rhett] Okay, now… – [Bobby] Oh, poor Danny. – Stairs. – He’s on the stairs. (singing) I’m Danny Devito. – I don’t know what this is. The body. Yeah. The body needs to go behind the stairs. – Oh. (clapping) I karate chopped him so much he won’t stand up though. – [Rhett] That’s perfect, behind the stairs. We’ve compromised Danny Devito but it’s okay. – It’s fine, there he is. – Now we got a lighter. – [Bobby] A lighter? – We wanna light some candles? No, nope. Yeah, we do. We need to find a candle. Okay, you guys have candles right in front. Yeah. What do you want him to do with the candles? – I’m really gonna do fire with a freaking blindfold on? – [Rhett] Put them on the cake. – [Bobby] Oh. – No, put them on the stairs. Okay, come over to the stairs. – Oh, are we making an alter to Danny Devito? – We’re making an alter to Danny Devito. Yes. (jungle music) – The roses? All the way to the left side of the table you have some flowers. Get the whole bunch of flowers, keep going, get all of those flowers. – [Bobby] I don’t know what that was. All right, what am I doing? – Put the flowers on the bottom of the steps. Right at the foot of the steps. – Yep, is that it? – Yes. Now what next? Take the whole cake, walk the cake over to the stairs, put it on the middle of the stairs, right in the middle of the stairs, yes. Yes, that’s what we’re doing. Yes, right there, that’s a big ol’ cake. Whoo, Danny Devito looks so happy. – I got cake on me. – Now we’re gonna take a feather. No, we’re gonna take a bell. – [Bobby] A bell? – We’re gonna take a bell in front of… On your right, further to the front of the table. Right there, yes. (bell ringing) Now you’re gonna take that bell, you’re gonna put it (bell ringing) – [Bobby] Where am I gonna put it? – You are going to kneel at the altar of Danny Devito and ring the bell. – Bring out your dead, bring out your dead. – You’re going to pray to Danny Devito. – Oh, okay. – You’re going to pray to Danny Devito. (bell ringing) We’re all going to pray to Danny Devito. – [Bobby] All knowing, all powerful Danny Devito. (clapping) I pray that you will make it always sunny in LA as you make it always sunny in Philadelphia. (bell ringing) – Is that it? – We did it. – [Stevie] You got it. (applause) – Remove your blindfolds. Look at the altar that you made. – Oh, Danny. – The orientation of Danny Devito to the altar was difficult for me to grasp. (laughing) – Yeah, as long as you know it was your fault. – It’s hard for you to grasp someone this low to the ground already. – I can’t relate, I just can’t relate. (monkeys chanting) – [Stevie] Okay guys, you’ve nailed it so far but this is the final task. You can look at your card in three, two, one. (dramatic music) – All right. Ain’t nothing out here. Where? – [Bobby] I’m all ears. – I know what we got. We’ve got clothing, but is there a snake? What is that? (slight laughing) I thought something was trying to do a wiggle on me. Ooh, look, I’m going shopping. – Put which one? You need to out something on, put anything on? – Anything. – Anything? – I bet it’s not anything, Bobby. – Put on shoes. Take your shoes off and put on shoes. – You want me to start with shoes? Since when do you start an outfit with shoes? – Put on a watch. Nope. – [Link] A watch? Where? Oh, here’s a shoe, look at that. (Rhett mumbling) – No, nope, stop, stop, stop. Nope, nope, that’s not it. Nope, stop, stop, stop. – Okay, I’m stopping. – Boots? No? – I got a boot. – Wait a second. Loafers, tennis shoes? Tennis shoes, yes. Tennis shoes, nope keep going over. The short ones. Not the high tops. Nope, that’s the Crocs. – [Link] Nope, that’s the crocodile. – Next, yep. – [Link] Is this it? – And then the next one is on the step right below, it’s the second one from the left. Yes? Okay. Nope, that’s not the second one from the left. – What is that, you want that? – Nope, that’s a high heel. That’s Jonathan’s. Yep, there you go. – Okay. – All right. Take the wellington off, thank you. – Try that on. – Put the tennis shoe on. – Try that on. – I can’t hear you. – Just try it on. (laughing) I got shoes on now. – Put on a shirt? All right, so put on a shirt, come over here to your left. A short sleeved shirt. – Short sleeved shirt? – [Bobby] Not that. Keep going, there you go. (Rhett mumbling) – [Link] Oh, he’s grunting. – Wait, keep going, nope, sorry, put that one back. Here, give me that one. No, you’re not listening. – It’s too late, Bobby. – You’re not listening. – I’m not listening. – [Stevie] Welcome to my life. – No, it’s not the right shirt. – All right. – Keep going. – What about this? – Nope. Oh God. We don’t have time for you to squeeze into that. Yes, that one – Okay. – Take the other one off and put that one on. – All right. All right, look at me. I’m getting dressed. Just another day. – I’m listening to music that I can only hear, that’s why I’m dancing weird. And then a jacket? A leather jacket? – [Link] Do I need to button it up? – Okay, leather jacket, go to the other rack. Keep going until you feel a leather jacket. (dramatic music) Nope, that’s felt. Nope. Feel for leather. – What about this? I’m a big fan of your show, Bobby. – Nope, that’s a trench. The next one, yep, there you go, ding, ding, ding. Winner, winner, winner, fake leather dinner. – [Link] There it is, okay. – [Bobby] Okay, put that on. Nope, that’s for you. – [Link] Did you see how quick I did that, Bobby? – I need you to French tuck it. French tuck it. – Oh, I know Tan’s always coming up French tuck. A French tuck is only one half. – Close enough. – Oh, it’s the front. – I need you to cuff your pants, roll up your pants a little bit. (dramatic music) – I’m frenching it. I gotta french. – Come on, mate, as Tan would say, roll up your, yep, do little roll ups. – Okay. (dramatic music) – And now I want you to work the runway. If you walk– – Oh, I was already working it. – Walk a few steps forward and you’re gonna find a red carpet. Yep, you feel it? Yep, all right. (laughing) Did we do it? Yeah! (clapping) – That’s it.
