are a trend now you find a lot of these for sale on etsy handmade boxes of assorted items that come as a surprise to the buyer does this concept intrigue you buying something from a complete stranger sight unseen yeah uh can i return it no no absolutely no you’re not going to love how much we blew the budget for this episode because we’re not returning any of these items but you might be able to like resell them based on what you get here’s how this works we’ve got our hands on some mystery boxes from etsy and we’re going to be betting on what they’re worth storage war style it’s time for does this etsy mystery box contain a priceless faberge egg or is it filled with dust and a dumb old doll egg welcome to the bidding ballroom zone and welcome to our contestants who will be playing right so the mythical crew has purchased four mystery boxes on etsy each one at a different price point and in each round uh we’re gonna peek inside one of the mystery boxes in order to then start the bidding yeah at that point we can bid on it if we like it once you win a box though you’re out of the auction okay whoever walks away with the biggest profit and that means the difference between how much we paid and how much the crew paid will be named the mystery boxing champion let’s get to bidding okay we’re gonna start with box number one i would like to note david hill’s gloves which look very nice and very professional please take your gloved hands remove the lid of the box we’re going to take a little peeky peek in please direct your eyes towards the monitor look at that bottom we got y’all hi gorgeous coffee then victory interesting are those basics candles in a jar or is that some sort of bomb but we’re not seeing everything there’s more that’s just the top layer yes okay i assume that this all to this theme i mean if i got that from my wife i could just dull out a gift for like every week for months on end yeah that’s a gua sha stone ooh i do wish there was a wall no no it’s gonna be so hard to outdo that dude this stuff is awesome i’m i’m gonna have such a great time for the rest of this game all right we’re moving on to box number two how much more exciting could it get david hill please wow smaller tiny box and really tell by the way his hands are going around it inside the box okay let’s see oh it is a camera box that’s a lit oh there’s at least a camera that’s a whole camera that’s a lens that’s a flash this is a vintage this is a vintage minolta one hundred dollars oh crap okay do i hear 105. uh 1 65. one six oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa why are you going up 65 bro it’s uh it’s 200 oh i’m not even having to say numbers it’s vintage nicole nicole’s feeling that more than 200 you don’t even know if this thing works yeah i mean this thing could be like it could be like fifteen dollars could be one of those dust collectors that a hipster is like bedside table but hold on i said that 15 seconds ago i’m sorry what i’m just doing 225 i’m out i’m pretty sure that there’s a night light in the upper right hand corner yeah that’s what i just saw i didn’t want you to know that i saw the night light okay nicole said she was out 225 link do you want amount of labor to even assemble the box would not be justified with less than 60 worth of meat big spread and nordic ice packs look angry my grandfather always got us summer sausage for christmas so you think okay you think the blue box has got something i don’t know what’s in the blue box but i’m excited to see what’s in it and i’m pretty sure i’m going to win so i’m not really worried about it
