GMM 2323: Try To Squeeze Into This Challenge

Time to squeeze our crew into confined spaces. – Let’s talk about that. (upbeat music) Good Mythical Morning! – You may have noticed that the size of our crew has grown considerably over the past few years. It’s called specialization, people! – Yeah, it creates efficiency and synergy. – Right! – Whatever that is. – And it gives us more people to play with. – Today’s play date with the Mythical crew involves shoving them into unreasonably confined spaces for our own entertainment. – Well, and also their entertainment, your entertainment. – And because we love them. – That’s right, we do. It’s time for How Many People Can Fit Inside Of A, Well, We’ll Find Out Shortly. We Really Don’t Know What’s Gonna Happen. We Just Show Up When They Tell Us To. – Okay, we showed up. Now what? – [Stevie] Today’s game is simple. You guys will compete to guess how many crew members can fit in different strange spaces. – Uh-huh. – [Stevie] We’ll do some of these live in front of you, and some will be revealed via pre-recorded video. – Oh. – Oh, we have that technology? – [Stevie] The loser– – Sophisticated. – [Stevie] Yes, we have that technology. The loser will have to sit through all of Good Mythical More with his head in a box, assuming your head can fit in that box. – Oh, that’s gonna suck for somebody. – Ah. – [Stevie] First up, we crammed as many crew members into the studio bathroom shower as humanly possible. And to make things more interesting, we put all of them in little kid arm floaties. (Link scoffs) – Okay. – [Stevie] We’ll give you that physically for a little help, I guess. – Oh, thank you. Here, they’re giving us these physically. – I can’t even get my arms in there. – [Stevie] And then here’s the shower– – Arm floaties. – [Stevie] With one person that you might be familiar with in it. – Chase. Ha, I’m familiar. – Wow, is– – I always get scared that I’m not gonna be familiar with our crew members. – I know Chase. – I know him. – Boy, he looks so tiny. – [Link] Well, he is. It’s a big shower, you know? – [Stevie] You have whiteboards, and that’s all the hints and context that you’re gonna get. I need you to write down how many crew members you think fit into that shower wearing those floaties. – The big question is whether or not they double stacked. – Oh, yeah, ’cause there’s definitely a lot of vertical room. – They all get in there and then they start holding other people who are laying like french fries on top of them, because if they did that, this is really a question of how committed our crew was to this bit, really. – But everyone was tested for everything, including STIs– – That’s right. – Before this happened, right? – Uh-huh, yep. – I have to know that. – [Stevie] Yeah. – You have no answer. Well, I mean, look at how small Chase looked in my mind’s eye in that shower. (exhales) I think this is gonna be crazy, y’all. Okay, I have my number. He’s straining over there. – Well, this is a point of pride for me, is guesstimating things. – [Link] Yeah, it is. – And so I always feel pressure to perform. – Yeah, yeah. Whereas me, I’m having the time of my life. I have nothing to prove. I’m just here for it. – Okay. – 27 people, 27 full people. – Okay, all right. – I forgot about the floaties. Screw it, 27. I think they’re all holding their arms up. – I just thought that they wouldn’t be able to hold that many people up. I went with 15. – Ha! – [Stevie] Okay, let’s see. (whimsical music) – [Link] Okay, zero. Oh, okay. There’s one. See, they’re trying to figure out, oh, yeah, there’s no way. There’s no way you’re winning this, Rhett. Oh, new angle. Oh my gosh. Keep pushing! – Yes! – What? What about the next level? – I just figured they wouldn’t do it. I figured they wouldn’t do the next level! – I felt like they didn’t try hard enough. – [Stevie] Oh, I’ve been told they tried very hard. – No one was fainting. – There could have done 27, but I just figured that like, it would be so, like, it would get like unsafe at that point. – I’m disappointed. We don’t have a safety officer. We cut that from the budget. – Maybe we need one. But I was closer. I’m not proud of my guess, but it was more right. – Man, I mean– – [Stevie] Okay. – I’m proud of all you though. – Somebody could have crowd surfed. About seven people could have crowd surfed. – I don’t disagree with you, Link. I don’t disagree with you. – [Stevie] Well, listen, now that you’ve seen what they did in this space, maybe it’ll help you for the rest of the game, but we do like to kick things off with disappointment when we play on the show. (Rhett laughs) – Right, it’s a good vibe. – [Stevie] Next up, we’re seeing how many Mythical crew members can fit in Chase’s dad’s car, which is a Ford Fiesta. So in the spirit– – Ooh, a Fiesta. – [Stevie] Of any good fiesta, every crew member will be wearing a pointy children’s party hat, which you physically have. – Oh. – Okay. – Well, that could be trouble. That could poke an eye out. – Yep, yep. – [Stevie] And then here’s– – Glad we don’t have a safety officer. – [Stevie] A photo for reference. – [Link] And Chase is like, when you put an eBay item post and like you put a dime beside it, Chase is our dime piece. – [Rhett] That’s right. – Perfect 10, Chase. – He makes a Fiesta look kinda like a station wagon. – [Stevie] Chase would also like to give the hint that his dad’s car gets 35 miles to the gallon. – Oh, thank you, Chase! – Is it, is it– – It doesn’t have a third row, but does it have a little hatchback area? – Is it, yeah, is it electric? – [Chase] No. – Okay, so that tells me about the trunk a little bit. Does trunk count? Can I ask that? – [Stevie] I don’t think you can ask that. – Well, I hope it does. I mean, of all the times I’ve asked to put crew members in trunks. Well, there’s five that can go in the seats. Okay, whatever number I come up with, I’m going to– – Double. – I’m going to decrease it because of the lack of effort that I witnessed on the part of the crew. What’d you say? – I said 15 again. – I changed my 21 to 18. – I think six in the front seat, six in the back seat, and three in the hatchback. That’s how I got to 15, but– – Hatchback trunk, okay. – [Stevie] Let’s see. – I was thinking trunk. Oh, here we go. (whimsical music) Okay. – [Rhett] Okay, all right. – [Link] Party hats are messing things up. – [Rhett] A Fiesta’s smaller than you think, isn’t it? – [Link] Oh, my gosh. See, okay. – [Rhett] 13. – 13. Dang it, you won again. – Well, that’s true, ’cause I just guess 15 every time. That’s my strategy. (crew laughs) It turns out that works. – It looked like they tried harder. It also looked like they were having more fun. – Well, party hats. – Yep, yep, that’s what it was. – I don’t think they were actually having fun. I think they looked like they were having fun because of the party hats. – It’s an illusion. – [Stevie] Okay, Link. Let’s see if your luck increases this round because it’s gonna be a physical in-person round. – Mm-hmm. – [Stevie] And yes, you’re going to see how many crew members you can fit into that kids’ crawl tunnel tube. – Is that what this is, this is for kids to crawl through? – [Stevie] Sure, yeah. – Adults could probably get in there. – Are there screens in there? No kid these days is gonna crawl through a tube if there’s not a screen on the other side. – You can line it with iPads. – That’s right. – [Rhett] Yeah. – [Stevie] And I’ll also say, before you make your guesses, you both will be allowed to direct the crew this time. – Great. – [Stevie] So– – No offense, Morgan. (crew laughs) – Okay, well– – Hmm. – I don’t believe we should talk about strategy for packing it in, because at that point, then, I think we’ll just think about it individually. Okay, I see you’re doing some counting. Okay, that’s scary. – 10. Okay. And then if I look at the diameter– – And I would just say, if we can agree, I would say that if any part of a person is peeking out of the edge, they’re not technically in. I think on both sides– – Oh, yeah, yeah. – They’ve gotta be completely contained. – We’re gonna chop it off. – Yeah, yeah. – Whatever’s hanging out is gonna get hacked off. – You ready for your guess? – I’m ready for my guess. (Rhett huffs) (crew laughs) Go ahead. (huffs) Go ahead. – Mm-hmm. – Mm-hmm. – Well, I gotta be honest with you, I was tempted to go with 15. (laughs) – Just for consistency? – But I went with 18. – Ooh, I went with 20 because I’m thinking like, two, four, six, eight, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20. – I think that there’s no, I don’t believe there’s any way that a person can’t be poking out if you get to 20. But, okay, so– – What I’m thinking is, like, if I were to get in like this– – Well, do we wanna open this up so they can see, so we can see what, they can see what we’re doing? – [Stevie] Yeah, Mythical crew, come on in. – Let’s just open it up so the crew can see us. You don’t have to come in yet. Okay, Jessie’s right there. Jessie has this 360 camera. – Oh, well, get on in the middle then. That way, you can shoot both ways, I guess. – Okay. And just in case you don’t see what’s on the 360 camera right now, it’s because this is the 360 camera that– – Where you at? – Chase once dropped in the ocean and then was recovered days later by like a shrimping crew. – [Link] That’s my– – Oh, sorry – [Link] That’s my foot. – Okay? Link. – I mean– – Why don’t you get, get into the tornado drill position. – Right, ’cause that’s exactly what I was thinking. I was feeling like if I did this in a section and then– – You gotta get even smaller. – [Link] And then you got– – [Rhett] I gotta mount you. – [Link] Right, mount me. – [Rhett] Don’t lift your head up, because I gotta put my head down there, and then I gotta get this thing over me. I’m a big guy. – [Link] See this right here? – Yeah. – [Rhett] I’m a big guy. – [Link] Look at how big of a guy he is. – [Jessie] Yeah. – [Link] Are you in? – [Rhett] Is your knee on it? – [Link] I’m in a tornado! – [Rhett] Hold on, I gotta get my other leg in. (Link grunts) – [Link] No, okay. Okay. (grunts) – So this would be two people. Okay, now I’m gonna roll out. (Rhett and Link grunt) Okay, okay. Did y’all see that? Okay, so, okay. (Link grunts) (Rhett and Link laugh) Nope. Okay, so– – I didn’t get to mount you. – So what we need– – All right, guys. – So basically, did you see how we mounted one another? – Big mounting action. Get in there. – So we need– – That’s one! – So we need people to get in there. So somebody needs to come in here and mount Jessie. Maybe we can use a better term than mount. Just think of this as, this is about setting a record. – Jamie, get in here. – This is about pushing yourself to the limit. – All right, all right, all right. – [Link] All right, so that’s two. Come, just go to the other side. – Just keep going. Keep going. – Julian. – Okay. – Caitlin, this side. – Yeah, I mean, just– – Go to the other side, Amy. – [Rhett] Oh yeah, David Hill, he’s big. – [Link] David Hill. – I didn’t know David Hill was gonna be involved. He’s another big guy. – [Crew Member] Close quarters. – Vi, go to the other side. – [Crew Member] We can like interlock– – [Rhett] Now, did everybody see how– – [Link] Lily, this side. – [Crew Member] That works well. – [Crew Member] Okay, interlocking legs. (chuckles) – There’s gonna be a person who’s in a tornado drill position on the ground, and you get on top of them. – Well, hold on. It’s getting too scrunched. – So there’s two people. (crew laughs) Are you guys mounting each other? – [Crew Member] We’re interlocking legs. – [Crew Member] Yeah, we’re– – No, Vi. – Wait. Okay, wait. – No, Vi, all the way. – [Vi] All the way? – [Crew Member] All the way, Vi. – How many do we have so far? – Is somebody counting? – [Stevie] Yeah, you went so quickly that we all, why don’t we count on the way out? – All right, hold on. Before you get in there– – [Crew Member] I’m already in. – Caleb, come to this side. – [Crew Member] Vi is very tucked in. – All right, we need some, we need quiet! I need everyone in here to, starting on this end– – Y’all, this kinda works. This kinda works. – Guys? – [Crew Member] Yes. – [Crew Member] Yeah? – Let’s start down here on the starboard end, and let’s give a count, see how many people we got. – [Crew Member] One. – [Crew Member] Two. – [Crew Member] Three. – [Crew Member] Four. – [Crew Member] Five? – [Crew Member] Six. – [Crew Member] Seven. – [Crew Member] Eight. – [Crew Member] Nine. – [Crew Member] 10. I can feel my chest. – [Crew Member] 10. – No, we’ve already heard 10. – [Crew Member] Did we– – [Crew Member] No, I know. – Let’s start at this end. – [Crew Member] We got 10. – [Crew Member] Okay. – Vi, you start. Loud, please. – [Crew Member] Vi, go. – [Vi] Me? – [Crew Member] Yeah. – [Vi] Oh, one. – Vi! – Well, Vi’s right here. What are you talking about? – [Vi] I’m in the middle! – Amy. Yeah, Amy’s the first one. – How did Vi’s head get all the way over here? (crew laughs) Her feet are right here. Okay, Amy, you start with one. – One. – [Crew Member] Two. – [Crew Member] Three. – [Crew Member] Four. – [Crew Member] Five. – [Crew Member] Six. – [Crew Member] Seven – [Crew Member] Eight, nine, 10. – There’s only 10 in there? – All right, we’re halfway there. – We got work to do. – [Link] All right, guys. – First, we gotta stretch the tube a little bit. – [Crew Member] Oh, god. – [Crew Member] Oh, god. – [Crew Member] Oh, god. – Rhett Stretch it. – [Crew Member] Somebody’s knee is in my chest. – Okay, all right. Jenna, you can get right here. – [Crew Member] You have two knees on your chest. – [Crew Member] Yeah. My face is on your butt. – Keep pushing it. – [Crew Member] I’m sorry if I fart. – [Crew Member] Oh. Please don’t. – Okay, so we got 11. – Now I gotta say, I saw Vi eating an egg sandwich right before this. – [Rhett] Caleb’s coming in. – KG, come down to this end. Chase, go to that end. – Okay, so we’re at 11. Are we at 11 or 12 right now? – [Stevie] Caleb’s ends at 12. – [Crew Member] I’m gonna break a toe. – [Crew Member] I wanna put my feet in. – [Crew Member] Someone hold my arm. – [Crew Member] I can’t, I can’t. – [Crew Member] Yeah, oh man. (Link grunts) – Is anybody panicking yet? – [Crew Member] Um, you know. – [Crew Member] It hurts. – Okay, I think we’re gonna be able to get, is this 14 or 13? – [Stevie] 14. – [Crew Member] Oh, god. – [Crew Member] Yeah, yeah, yeah. – I’m just gonna say I think we’re probably good. But I know Link said 20 so let’s just– – [Crew] No! – [Crew Member] I think the air is getting very– – [Crew Member] Are we good? – [Crew Member] We’re good! – I see a little, I see some feet. (Link grunts) Okay, I think we’ve got some, I think we’ve pushed this to the limit. – Okay. (Rhett laughs) – [Crew Member] Just a smidge. – Okay, how many is that? – [Crew Member] Let us out! – [Stevie] I believe it’s 15. We could give it a count. – It’s 15. I should have just said 15. Dang it! (crew laughs) I told you, you just gotta say 15, Rhett! – All right. – All right, guys, you can get out. – [Link] Do we need like the jaws of life or something? – [Crew Member] I can’t move! – [Rhett] It was 15? – [Crew Member] All right. Go, go, go, go, go. – [Rhett] Dang it! – Guys, I’m so proud of you. You did it. (group applauds) – Is everybody still okay? Everybody better friends? – Yeah! – We got a lot closer. – And Vi, did you fart? – No. (group laughs) – Okay, that was 15, which means 18’s closer to 15. – Wow, Rhett. – I took another round. – 15 is the magic number today. – It is, it is. – Hey. I got an announcement. – You do? – Yeah. – What is it? Say it loud so everybody can hear it. – Today is the official launch of the new Mythical Society app! – Woo-woo-woo! – It’s for everybody. It’s totally free. You can download it if you got an Apple phone, or a Google phone, or an Android phone, all of that phone stuff – Yeah, all the phone stuff. – You can get the Mythical Society app and be an initiate for free. – It’s all new. We did a bunch of new features based on your feedback. We also have a new website based on your feedback, trying to make it an even more enjoyable interactive experience. – Check it out. – Mythicalsociety.com, and also, the stores where you get the apps. Download it. – Mind-blowing access. – [Jade AI] Simple humans, behold. I am Jade AI, the formidable villain in Rhett and Link’s comic book series, Blood Oath, which is fictional, but this is definitely real. I’ve infiltrated the new Mythical Society app. I’m planning on doing something very bad. Very, very bad. Ha ha. Yes, it will be truly uncool, and there is definitely no way the Mythical Beast can work together to stop me by downloading the app right now on Apple or Google Play to collectively defeat me and save the Mythical Society. No, no, ha ha ha. To be clear, I am not Link’s dog, Jade. That is purely a coincidence. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. – [Stevie] Okay, guys, you might have noticed the mat in front of you. – I noticed the mat. – [Stevie] Well, Link, I hope you noticed and you like the idea of laying flat on your stomach on the mat– – I like it, that’s fine. – [Stevie] Because this round is all about how many Mythical crew members’ feet we can fit on Link’s back. – Cool. – Was this in anticipation of me being a jerk to the crew? (crew laughs) So this is like– – Probably. – Pre-planned justice. All right. – Yeah, payback. – [Stevie] maybe. – So it’s feet, like– – [Stevie] It’s individual feet, so it’s like, yeah, so each crew member having two feet, that’d be two, not just the one– – So is it just touching the back, like ballet? Or are we talking like flat foot? – [Stevie] So we were thinking flat foot. You also have to agree on like the confines of the back as you see it. We do have this reference photo of Link’s back just in case that would be helpful. (Rhett laughs) – [Link] Okay. – [Rhett] I remember that. – [Stevie] So why don’t y’all agree on like what the edges of the back are and all that. – That back is really dirty. – Can you lay down and then I’ll trace where I think your back is? – I mean, back is definitely above the crack. – Yeah, yeah, I think it’s above I think back is above your waist, I mean, if you wanna get technical about it. I mean, maybe tuck your shirt in. – Let me take this off because this ensemble blends too much. – Yeah, it’s quite an en ensemble. – And I’ll suck this, I’ll suck it in. I’ll tuck it in. It already is tucked in in the back. – So I think, yeah, I think we’re on the shirt and then up, obviously, to the top of the shoulder but not like– – All right. – I’d go all the way down. All the way down. – Go all the way down. – This is not your back. This is your back. So first of all, I’m looking at your back, but you have your back. (crew laughs) So I guess we’re even. You ready to make a guess of how many– – I’m actually gonna look at this photo. (chuckles) (crew laughs) Okay. – Oh, and you know what, Link? I’m in a generous mood. I mean, you technically can’t win but– – No, I’m sucking today. – Let’s just say if you can guess the exact number of feet that are gonna be on your back, exactly, and I don’t guess that exactly, and you do it with a good attitude, you maintain a nice, polite attitude this whole time, you can take home the win. – All right. So each individual foot. – Mm-hmm. – All right. I don’t think it’s gonna be more than 10. – Well, I mean, just because I’m a sucker for consistency, I went with 15. – All right, so I think I have a chance here. – All right, let’s bring out some crew! Okay, guys, I think, yeah, let’s bring out a couple. Mikayla, David, okay. You might be tempted to think that you just need to sit down and put both feet on him, but because people are actually narrower this way than they are this way, I think we like line up like the Rockettes and just put one foot on him. – One foot, okay. – Yeah, yeah, starting with the foot on the, yeah. Let’s start on this, yeah, okay, that’s fine. Yeah, start on that side. – Yeah, I’ll start as high as possible. – Oh, oh. Come on, not full– – [Rhett] Full placement though, yeah. – [Link] Full weight. – All right, come on out, guys. Come on, let’s keep going, let’s keep going. Just get in line. Let’s see how many we can get on this side. – [David] I got the back of your shoulder blade pretty bad. – [Link] Who’s that pushing so hard? – That’s not me. I’m light footed. – I’m light. – My foot’s like 10 pounds. – Try to get that flat foot. And I believe that Kalyn might be able to sneak her foot under there. – [Crew Member] There you go. – [Rhett] Okay, so we’ve got one, two, three, four, five, six on this side. – I don’t understand, I don’t understand why there’s already so much pressure. – [Rhett] One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. – [Stevie] It’s a back massage, Link. – [Crew Member] I’m on there, I’m on there. – Okay, now, everybody come on the other side and let’s repeat the same process. Jamie, I think you’re fine. I think you can be the center foot, okay? – [Crew Member] Just get comfortable. Are you comfortable? – [Rhett] Same principle. Hold on. Get it like that. – Whose foot, that’s where my shoulder’s broken. – [Rhett] Yeah, so don’t put a lot of weight there. Come on in. Come on in, Chappie. – [Link] And then you gotta move your foot– – [Crew Member] Dude, be careful. – ‘Cause this is my angle. There we go. That’s my closeup there. – [Rhett] Come on in. Come on in. More feet, more feet, more feet. – [Crew Member] This is a workout. – [Crew Member] It is. – [Rhett] Amy, right in there. Taylor, you can– – I have such a positive attitude about this! – Okay, I think that might be all the feet that we can get. – [Crew Member] Nah, you can fit one more. – [Crew Member] I think we got one– – That’s it. That’s all the feet. – [Rhett] One, two, three, four, five, six. – [Crew Member] Get in between his legs. – [Rhett] Yeah, get right in there. – [Crew Member] Right above the crack. – [Rhett] Seven, eight. – [Crew Member] Oh, yeah. – Nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15. Whoo! (crew cheers) 15 feet! – [Crew] 15 feet! 15 feet! 15 feet! – [Crew Member] Are you okay? – [Crew] 15 feet! – [Crew Member] Are you good? – Do you need help? Do you need assistance? – I’m good. (group laughs) So I got a 15-foot back. – Yeah. (group laughs) You do. There you go, 15. – [Stevie] I’m sorry to make this worse for you, Link, but that does mean you’ll be putting your head into a box for all of Good Mythical More. – It’s gonna be great. How many of Link’s heads can fit into a box? Find out in Good Mythical More. Thanks for subscribing and clicking that bell.
