Will our smooth moves impress world-famous K-pop stars? – [NCT Dream] Let’s talk about that! (theme music playing) – Good mythical morning. – The English version of their hit song “Beatbox” is out now. They just wrapped a world tour. And they have new music dropping later this year. It’s the internationally beloved K-pop group NCT Dream. (NCT Dream cheering) – Give us one of these. Everybody do this. And then you’ve gotta… You have to shake hands. – Wait, what? – And then you shake… Yeah, you shake hands. – Nice to meet you. – We’ll do one of these. – This is quite a crowd, but we pulled it off. (all clapping) All right. – Now, so I assume the answer’s yes. Are you good at learning dance moves very quickly? – Yeah. (speaking foreign language) Of course. We are… I mean, we’re very good. (Rhett laughing) – Of course. And so are we, right? – Oh, oh, no. – I think this is gonna be a- – Well, listen. – A great little collaboration. – I was gonna say, we may not be as great at learning dance moves as you guys are. But we are not strangers to looking helpless and ridiculous on the internet, which might be about to happen. – You ready? – Yes, we are ready. – Let’s do it. – It’s time for You Show Me Yours, And I’ll Show You Mine: Dance Moves with NCT Dream Edition. – Welcome to the Dance Telephone Zone. – We got so much talent here. What are we gonna do with all this dance talent? Including me. – [Stevie] All right, boys. This is pretty much like a game of Telephone, but instead of sending a verbal message, you’ll be sending a dance down the line. The person at the beginning of the line will do an eight count dance. And the person that follows them will do their best to emulate it. The dance can only be demonstrated up to three times. We’ll continue this pattern and, once the move gets to the end of the line, we’ll ask everyone to do the final version of the move together, like one big K-pop group. Sound good? Let’s dance. – Oh, yeah. (upbeat music) – [Stevie] Okay, Mark. Please start us off with a dance of your own creation. – [Mark] All right. Here it goes. (laughs) All right, no music, it’s all good. Set. One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. (audience laughing) – One more time. – [Mark] All right. (audience laughing) (speaking foreign language) One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Okay, one more time. – Ready? One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Okay. (Rhett laughing) (audience laughing) – Easy, easy, easy. Seven, eight. One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Okay, okay. Two more times. (laughs) – Slow, slow. – [Rhett] Okay, okay. – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. (audience laughing) – Yeah, ooh. – [Rhett] One more time. – Okay. Seven, eight. One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. (audience laughing) – Wait, oh, I should have made it harder. – [Rhett] Okay. (audience laughing) So, okay- – Oh, so they can’t practice when they’re- – So I can’t practice. I’m technically not supposed to practice. I’m supposed to just- – [Stevie] Correct. – Match it. – [Stevie] Yep, yep. – It wouldn’t help me anyway, all right. – [Jaemin] All right. – Okay. – Let’s do it. – Are you ready? – Yeah, I’m ready. – [Rhett] Oh, gosh. (laughs) (audience laughing) Here we go. – Here we go. – Here we go. You wanna look at me? (audience laughing) I don’t know if it’s gonna help. One, two, three, four. Five, six. I lost two beats already. Mine’s- – Is that twerking? – Mine’s six, mine’s six, okay? – [Mark] All right, yours is six. – I think somehow I got the six and the eight. So it’s just- – [Mark] It looks pretty good though. – One, two, three, four. Five, six. – Oh. – Yeah, yeah, so let me give you that one more time. One, two. Oh, no, hold on. – Mark You’re adding your own style to it. – Okay. – I think I nailed it. – That was actually pretty good though. (all clapping) – Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. (audience laughing) – Hi. – Hi. – Okay, yeah. – Is this real? (all laughing) – As real as it gets. – [Jaemin] Okay. – Oh, god. – Let’s see. (Rhett laughing) – Okay, let’s do it. One, two, three… – Oh. – That was better than mine. (all laughing) – Okay. No, no, no. One, two, three, four. Five, six. (all clapping) – That was actually- – [Mikayla] Okay. – Pretty similar. – Yeah, yeah, yeah, you nailed it. Our dance. – Okay. – [Rhett] That’s our dance. – [Jaemin] Wait, one more time. – Okay. – One, two, three, four. Five, six. (audience laughing) – (laughs) Okay, okay. One more. – Okay, one more time, one more time. – One more time, yeah, and she’ll nail it. – Okay. One, two, three, four. Five, six. (audience laughing) – Okay. – [Mark] That was good, that was good. – Okay, okay. (laughs) (all clapping) All right. – You guys made it so different. (all laughing) – Okay, hello. – Okay, okay, hi. – You ready? – [Mark] Let’s do it! – Yeah, let’s go. – Okay, all right. One, two, three, four. Hold on. – [Mark] The count. – Five? Five. – What? Yeah. – Six. And I’m gonna add a seven, eight. Seven, eight. (audience laughing) Okay? – Oh! – [Chenle] Okay, okay, okay. – [Mikayla] You want it again? – Oh! – We’ve got two beats back. – We’ve got two beats back! – Back on the eight. – [Chenle] One more time please. – One more time? – Yes. – Okay. One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Okay, got you, okay, okay. (all cheering) – Okay? – Okay. – We’re good? – Yeah, we’re good. – Mikayla went to Chi-Town and came back with two new beats! – Two new beats! (Rhett laughing) (all clapping) – [Mark] Nice. (speaking foreign language) – Okay. One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – You guys are so good. – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Okay. (Rhett laughing) – He’s like, “Really, that’s the dance?” – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. (speaking foreign language) (audience laughing) (speaking foreign language) – Yeah. Yeah, that’s the most important part. – All right. – All right. – You ready? All I’ve heard back there is just counting to eight. Sounds pretty simple to me. – Okay, Link, let’s go. One, two. – Uh-huh. – Three, four. – Oh. – Five, six. Seven, eight. – Oh! (audience laughing) Really? – [Mark] Really. – Is that- – [Rhett] Yes. – Is that a fact? – That is a fact. – One more time. One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. (all laughing) – All right, I got it, man, I got it. – [Rhett] He’s confident, he’s confident. – [Mark] Oh, he didn’t even- – [Rhett] He’s confident, very confident. – I’m ready. – (snickers) You shouldn’t be. (all laughing) – (laughs) Show me. – All right. So it’s… One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Whoa. That was actually good though. – Are you sure? You’re sure? – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Whoa. – That last part especially. – Show me again. – Perfect. – You just wanna see it just ’cause you like it. – Yeah. (laughs) It’s funny. – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Oh, oh! – The emphasis on that last part is increasing with each… With each try. – [Link] Yeah, I’m getting into it. – Get into it, into it. – Okay. – I’m actually impressed. – Oh, you’re the… Are you last? You’re not last. – No, no, no. – We got one more. (speaking foreign language) – One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. (all laughing) – What are you laughing at? This is serious. – So weird. – Round of applause. – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – Oh, he pulled it together. – Okay, one more time. – Okay. One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – [Link] Yeah! (all clapping) – [Rhett] That was it. – [Link] Oh, you can stay there. – Oh, yeah. – Let’s go. – Yeah. – Nice. – Again, again. – Again, again. – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – [Rhett] Nice! That was great. (all clapping) – It was? – All right, let’s see. You can stay here. – [Stevie] All right. Nice job. Let’s… You wanna take a peek at how the dance was originally designed? – Come on in, guys. – Okay. – [Stevie] Let’s see how you did. – Ooh. – Oh, the point, forgot the point. – What? – Wait, wait, wait. Where was this? (all laughing) This was nowhere. – Hold on. I created… I created a space for Mikayla to fill, and she filled it with that. – Mikayla, you came up with a hip thrust? – I didn’t do the thrust. I did a booty pop. (all laughing) – Oh, you did a booty pop. – I did, yeah. – And that started it all. – It evolved. – And then how did we end up? – [Rhett] Yeah, look, here we go. – One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. – [Rhett] Hey, listen- – That’s good. – Yeah. – We improved. I’m sorry, but we really improved on what you did. – I’m actually surprised we filled eight counts. We actually lost two counts in the middle. – Yeah. Who did that? – [Mark] I think it was… (laughs) – Who was it? – It might have been me. (all laughing) Hey, but I think we- – [Stevie] Okay. Wait, wait, wait. We have to… The show of any good dance, though, is if a group can do it together. So we have a choice here. We can either go with the original or we can go- – No. – [Stevie] Okay. – Let’s go with the ending. – [Stevie] Let’s go with the end dance. – We’re going with the updated. – [Stevie] Let’s go with the updated dance. But I’m gonna need to see you all do it together. – Here we go. Five, six, seven, eight. – [All] One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. (all laughing) – Hey! (all cheering) That was good. (speaking foreign language) Let’s do that again. (upbeat music) – [Stevie] Okay, this round’s going to be just like the last one, but it’s a speed round. Each person only gets to see the dance move one time before they attempt to repeat it. So Jisung, you’re gonna make up your own dance move whenever you’re ready. – Five, six, seven, eight. Turn to a knee. One, two. – Okay. – Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. Good luck. (all laughing) (all laughing) – I’m ready to bring it. – Okay, okay. – I’m writing it down. I got my pad, I got my pad. – One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. (all laughing) I’m sorry. – I think I got it. – Haechan. – Great, all right. One, two. Three, four. (all laughing) Five, six. (all laughing) – What? – Seven, eight. (all laughing) You got it, you got it. – Let’s go, let’s go. – Okay. – Why… Why do you look so shocked? – Woo! I don’t know. – David Hill. – I tried. – What did you do? – I tried. – Okay. One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. (all laughing) Eight? (all laughing) – That was kind of… It was kind of small. It was a lot in here. It was kind of small, you know? I would have loved to have seen that again. You ready? – Yep. One, two. Three, four. Five… Five, six. Seven, eight. – Yo. – Hey. – One, two, three- – [Stevie] Nope, no, no. – Oh, okay. (all laughing) (speaking foreign language) – It’s just a series of dazed looks. – One, two. Three, four. Oh. Three, four. – What’s going on? – Five- – [Link] Exactly. – Five, six. Seven, eight. – Oh! (laughs) (all laughing) – I forgot the move. – Hello. (laughs) – So you ready? One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. – Oh. – Yes. – I think I knew who edit that last two. – [Link] That was new. – Oh, god, I forgot already. Okay. – Don’t be nervous. – You can do it. – I already forgot, that’s the thing. I literally didn’t remember it. One, two. Oh, my god, three, four. (laughs) – Trust me. – I’m butchering this. I only know seven, eight. (all laughing) – Uh-huh. (speaking foreign language) – Come on, Mark. It’s showtime. – Did we fail already? – Yeah. – I think you gotta put it back together somehow. – One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. – Again? (all laughing) – That was good, that was… – We got this! I’ve been feeling so much confidence coming through that wall. – Yeah, yeah. – One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. – One, two. Oh, gosh. One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. – Oh, gosh. (all clapping) – Yeah. Is that it? All right, come on. Come on over. Yeah, I’m beginning to think it’s not as much about accuracy as it is about- – Fun. – Expression. – Okay. – Come on over, keep it coming. – [Stevie] All right. Let’s see what it was supposed to look like. – Oh, boy. (all laughing) – Wow, what? – Okay, all right. – [Rhett] I didn’t see any of that. – [Mark] What? – [Rhett] I didn’t see that. – [Link] What happened, guys? – [Rhett] I didn’t see, oh. – [Link] That’s amazing. – What? – It’s amazing. – I think I happened. – No- – [Stevie] Let’s see- – It happened a lot earlier. – [Stevie] Let’s see what it wound up looking like again, shall we? – [Rhett] This is the real deal here. – [Link] And then… And then just a… – Oh, yeah! I like that. – The hesitation. You got a little hesitation. – I’ve gotta say, the first one was a bit better. But… – [Stevie] Are you saying you wanna do the first one all together? – No, definitely not. – [Stevie] Okay, you wanna do the last one. – We need to do the butt slap together. – [Stevie] All right, let’s do it. – All right, here we go. – [All] Five, six, seven, eight. One, two, three, four. Five, six, seven, eight. (all clapping) – That was painful. (upbeat music) – [Stevie] Okay, for this final round, we’re gonna switch it up and have you do a compound dance. So the person that starts will do two counts of a dance. And the person that follows has to do those moves and add their own two. As it moves down the line, the dance will get longer and longer. And the final person to go will show the final move off to the full group. – All right. – [Stevie] And Link- – This is destined for success. – [Stevie] We’re starting with you. Whenever you’re ready. – Here’s my two beats. Five, six, seven, eight. (all laughing) It’s early. – Five, six, seven, eight. One, two. Three, four. – Yes. – Outside? – Give it to me. – Yep. – Give it to me. Give me (indistinct). (all laughing) – Show me. – One, two. Three, four. Five, six. – [Link] Oh, yeah! He lost his name tag. You know it’s a good move when the name tag falls. (all laughing) This is feeling good. – One, two. Three, four. Five, six. (speaking foreign language) Seven, eight. – [Link] Oh, yes! Yes! – Woo, hoo! – Now we’re talking. – That easy. – Yes. (all laughing) Look at it, look at the look on his face. So scared. (all laughing) – All right, we got five, okay. – Oh, I’m so… My memory is so bad. (all laughing) I feel like I was in an accident. (all laughing) Oh, god. I don’t remember three, four or five, six, even close to what it should be. – They kind of flow. Once you get going, I think you’ll feel it. – Okay. One, two. Three and four. I don’t remember what happened in the middle. – Three, four. – Oh, god. Three and four and five. (all laughing) – [Link] What a struggle. Oh, of course. – Was that the addition, okay. – That was the addition. Of course when in doubt, add a hip thrust. – When in doubt… – Wait, what was the first one? – Yeah, that’s the only part I remembered. – Wait, what was it? Okay. One, two. – Oh, god. (laughs) – Oh, man. Wait, all right. One, two. Three, four. Five, six. Kun, kun. Ka, ka. (all laughing) Kun, kun, and then the ka, ka. (all laughing) This is a load of kaka if you ask me. – That’s with what you added too? – [Mark] Yeah. – Just take a breath, take a breath. (all laughing) – It’s one, two. – Okay. – Three, four. – Oh, wow. – Five, six. (all laughing) – More of a barrel roll. It was a spin, now it’s a roll. – Seven, eight. (all laughing) – One, two. Three, four. – Okay. (all laughing) – Yep, mm-hmm. – Let’s go. – One, two. Three, four. Five, six. – He did exactly the same thing. – Seven, eight. One, two. – Oh, wow. – Whoa. – Three, four. – [Link] Mm-hmm. And what you got? – Five, six. (all laughing) – A little five, six at the end there. – One, two. – I’m so confused. And then? – Three, four. – Mm-hmm. – [Mark] Do it. – Five, six. – Oh, yeah, keep going. – [Link] Slow-mo not helping. – One, two. – [Link] This is like the Disintegration of a Dance Move. (Rhett laughing) – Three, four. – That’s really what this is. – Five, six. – Yeah, uh-huh. – Seven, eight. – Okay. – Okay. – One, two. (Rhett laughing) – All right, all right, all right. You did good. It wasn’t your fault. It was everybody else’s fault. (all laughing) – [Stevie] All right, Jaemin. Let’s see the whole thing. – Let’s go. – You know what? Just put it all together. Just go from the heart. – One, two. (all laughing) Three, four. – Yeah, yeah, yeah. – And then you step, five. – Okay. – Six. – Yeah, yeah, yeah. – Seven. – This is the most cautious dance I’ve ever seen. – It’s still going. – And then stand up. (all laughing) – I’ve never dazed a dance move this much. – One, two. – Yeah, we’ll do that again. I think we’ve shut down their operating system. (all laughing) – Three, four. (all laughing) – Why not? Why not? – Yeah. Whatever you want at this point, you know? – Seven, eight. (all laughing) – [Link] Wow, that’s great. That’s it. – That’s it? – That’s it. Let’s put it all together, everybody. (audience clapping) – Wait, hold on. There was this thing. It was this thing at one point that got lost. – What? – And then it was a spin. – I did this. – It was a spin. And then- – I did that at one time. – I think you were unwilling to spin. But you added the hip thrust, and then that got lost. – Ah. Everybody, all together. – Everybody get in here. – Five, six, seven, eight. One, two. Three, four. – It went, it went- – Three, four. Five, six. Seven, eight. – What? What is this? – That was the, uh- – One, two. – That was the… – Well, all right. – Wow, look at us. Ready for prime time! (all clapping) – Come on in, come on in. Huge thanks to NCT Dream for stopping by today. (all cheering) Hey, be sure to check out the English version of their song, “Beatbox”. And be on the lookout for new music coming later this year. – Woo! – Thanks for subscribing and clicking that bell. – Now you guys all say, “You know what time it is.” – [NCT Dream] You know what time it is! – I’m Maddie from Canada, and I’m in Seoraksan National Park, South Korea. And it’s time to spin the Wheel of Mythicality! – What are the chances we have a K-pop band, and then we have somebody in South Korea? – 100%. – Sometimes the stars just align. – 100%. – Click the top link to watch us guess what K-pop terms mean in Good Mythical More. – And to find out where the Wheel of Mythicality’s gonna land. – Some fun asparagus? That’s so fun to me. I really, I really do love asparagus. And Julia hates asparagus, so I never make it at home. So I’m glad I get to eat it at work. And then she’s gonna smell my pee, and she’s gonna be like, “Are you cheating on me with asparagus?” I’m gonna be like, “Yes.”
