GMM 2556: What Does This Food Product Do?

Can we figure out how to use these strange and confusing mystery products? Let’s talk about that. ((Intro Music)) Good Mythical Morning! You know by now, the game where we play with a bunch of strange products and try to figure out how they operate is one of my favorites. I’m pretty impressed that, you’re using so much restraint right now. I know how much you usually get worked up about this. Would you just shut up and say the title already so we can play? There it is. It’s time for, Do You Know What That Doodad Do? ((Music)) – [Stevie] Okay, jabronis, under that sheet is your. first mystery product. Of course, each round, one of you can shop at the Mythy Mart to find items necessary to use the product, but be selective. Every decoy item you grab will cost you five seconds on the game clock. Your time for this item starts, now. You wanna go to the thing? You want me to go to the thing? You go to the thing. You go to the thing. – I want. – What have we learned in the past? We’ve learned, who’s better at going to the thing? You, I usually go first, so I want, you can go first this time. I don’t think that’s true. I think I’ve gone first before. I think you should go first. What is this? You go first. Maybe we don’t need anything. Maybe neither one of us need to go. That goes on that. Look. I got it. I’m gonna go. – [Rhett] No, no, no. – [Link] I’m gonna go. It’s some sort of blender, man. Blender, man. Slenderman. – [Link] What do you mean a blender? You think this whole thing turns? Can you, see if you can turn it on. It’s got a, it’s a power switch at the top. Yes, it’s vibrating. – [Rhett] Okay, and what does it do? And it, it vibrates harder, and harder, and then it goes away. Does it look like something that would do hard boiled eggs? Cause I’ve got those. – [Link] It could do all sorts of things. Let’s just see if we should put it into a pot. Let’s see. – [Stevie] You’re good. No point. Yes, Rhett! Are you okay? But a cooler! There’s a cooler! What’s in my cooler? – [Link] Eggs? Nothing in there. What, what, what would you? – [Rhett] Well, there’s eggs that aren’t, been, not cooked. Cooked already. – [Link] I think what it is, is when you’re cooking something. You’re gonna make oatmeal? – [Link] It stirs it. So you don’t have to. What’s something you need to stir? Oatmeal! – [Link] Do you really need to stir oatmeal? No. Oh. Okay. – [Link] Anything that you would stir? Soup? – [Rhett] Does it feel like it would heat it? Do you need to constantly stir soup? No, you don’t. You need a koozie? Do you want a koozie? I got tortillas. – [Link] And there’s a burner over there. There’s a picture of me and Cotton Candy Randy. – [Link] I think we need a burner. Oh, you think we should, oh, you’re right. Let’s try, what, what, I mean is it oatmeal or soup? Is there anything else to cook? There’s oatmeal. – [Link] Okay, let’s do that. Let’s bring that over here. – [Stevie] You’re okay. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Take all that back. – [Rhett] We’re on a roll, Link! We’re on a roll! – [Link] Now we need water. Water. – [Link] You need water. I don’t need to do anything now. Okay. Push the top to make it vibrate, man. – [Rhett] Water. – [Link] Time’s running out, dude. Does it make its own water? – [Stevie] I mean, you can just grab your own water because you kind of grabbed not the thing we wanted you to, but you still are okay. Oh, it’s not the thing that, what’s the other thing? Grab the soup. Or the pot. Is there another thing besides the pot? Hey, I’m just, hey, I’m gonna, how much time do I have? – [Link] One minute, nineteen seconds. Oh, I’m gonna relax. – [Link] No, don’t. Well, you gotta turn the burner on. Hey, I’m relaxing. You can relax later with that vibrating stirrer. It’s on. I’m going to casually. – [Link] Come on, man. Fifty-nine seconds. And put the stirrer in there. Turn it on! Do it! Get back to the table. You don’t even need to be there for it. It’s unattended stirring. Turn it on. Is it on? ((Applause)) Come on. Come on back. Come on back over. How’s that? Unattended stirring device. My oatmeal is making itself. – [Stevie] You’re correct. It’s an automatic pot stirrer. That is a lot of oatmeal. Well, I’m hungry. Oatmeal for everybody! ((Music)) – [Stevie] Okay, you guys are doing well so far, but here’s the thing. Please. – [Stevie] You can only lose one round this game, and if you lose, there’s gonna be a mystery punishment. But if you win, there’s a mystery prize, so there’s a lot on the line. Can you do it again? Yes. – [Stevie] Your time starts now. Well, the thing is not even under there. Oh, there it is. I mean, we’re so good at this. Okay, what is that? It’s a 3M. It’s a sticker. It’s a big company. – [Link] It’s a sticker, right? I think it. Hold on now, but why is there, why is there two? Pull off the white part. So, there is adhesive there, but I can’t, oh, you know what? It’s a magnet. Okay, it’s a very strong magnet. That it has adhesive on both sides. Okay, okay, okay. Think about what we need to stick together that we can stick together. – [Link] What is this? Oh. – [Rhett] That’s a bucket. This is one of those. – [Rhett] Yep. Yep. Don’t get distracted. Yeah, you missed. And also, hey, we don’t have that kind of time. Don’t be that confident. You’re aiming like way above me. – [Stevie] Minus five. Come on, bro. Okay. All right, so now I’m really trying. All right, so, you want to be able to stick something. Ow, it’s, oh gosh, it’s strong. – [Link] It’s so strong. It totally pinched me. I mean, what about, what about this? – [Rhett] No, think about, don’t. Quit playing with toys. I’m going to have to come over there. Makeup remover. – [Rhett] What do you need to put together? Peppercorn. – [Rhett] You don’t need to put pepper together. Think about it. What do you need to put together? That you could adhere to something. What about tortillas? Like a stack of tortillas and you hold them together and it. Like, you put it on either side of the stack of tortillas. – [Rhett] Why would you need to adhere it to anything? Just to keep them together. But what would you be adhering it to? – [Link] Each other. No. – [Link] In a stack. We got some phones here. – [Rhett] Oh! So this is. Okay, yes! Yes! That’s it! Bring them both! – [Link] Yes, yes, yes. And then what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna put this. – [Stevie] You’re doing it. Yeah, okay. So you put this in the. No, we took, we. You stick it to the back of the phone. And then you can stick it to anything? Is that it? Well, I don’t know. Let’s just. Stick it to metal? So, here we go. I’m gonna do this and then. Sweet. Take it like that. Okay. And then you just take it and like. ((Laughing)) That’s a legitimate phone that we use here at this place. You know, it’s tax deductible. Look at that. How’s that, Stevie? We done? – [Stevie] I, we’re in shock. No, but you, no, you’re not done. You have not figured out what this product does. Okay, but we’re right about this part? – [Stevie] Correct. You can stick a light to it. What do you need to stick a phone to, over there? That you would need a second one? Would, maybe stick the two phones together and make one big phone? Here’s a magnetic bell. ((Bell Ringing)) ((Applause)) That’s it? ((Laughing)) The bell? – [Stevie] This is a product that is, no, no, Rhett just stuck the two phones together. It’s called. You can ring the bell in celebration, but that’s all you’re gonna be doing. – [Stevie] It’s called a Cellsnapp, and it’s a magnet meant to snap your personal cell phone and your work cell phone together. Your burner. – [Stevie] And it says personal, personal and work phones finally have each other’s backs. What? That’s dumb. But. Do they even? Oh, hell yeah, they’re really, really tight. So, personal and work phones? And they’re a little bit off because. Yes, I approve the purchase. And I will be there for dinner, honey. ((Laughing)) Yeah, that was it. That was how it would go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like to keep things separate. ((Music)) Hey, you know what? We got a new series over there on the Mythical Kitchen channel. You know we have Last Meals, you know what we have now? First Meals! See what we did there? This is where Josh will invite somebody to experience a food for the very first time. Something they’ve never eaten. And this week, kicking it off, we got Stevie. He is introducing Stevie to Filipino food, and Jollibee in particular, I hear. So, it’s available right now. And you talk about some of your other firsts, right? – [Stevie] All kinds of firsts. All kinds of firsts. Ooh, sounds juicy. It’s available now, so go check that out when you’re finished here. Mythical Kitchen channel. All right, you gonna go again? You gonna go this time? I mean, we’re doing so great. The only, you know, just so you know, the only points we’ve lost are when you brought the toy over here and set it down. You could’ve brought the toy over here, played with it, and then took it back. You didn’t have to set, when you set it down, that was, I would’ve looked stupid if we’d have needed it. – [Stevie] Time starts now. It’s a. It’s an appliance. Okay. Goodness gracious. Is it a cutter of some sort? Well, let’s look here. It says off. Okay, turn it on. Did it do that? Or did I do that? What? Alright, go over there and look for disc things. Disc things? Disc shaped things. – [Rhett] Frisbees? What? No. Is it a koozie organizer? Oh, it’s getting hot. – [Rhett] Oh, oh, great, great, great, great, great, great. Oh, it’s getting hot. Do you think it does something with bees? No. Flat, flat things. Maybe that thing that fires air. Flat things. Oh, yes, the tortillas. Oh, this is obvious. What’s flat? What’s flat? So, you take the tortillas, and you put them in here, that one’s broken, and you put that one in there, you put this one in here. Oh, look at us. We know how to use things. You show us things, we know how to use them. Show us a thing! It’s like a toaster. We’ll show you how to use it. – For. – Do we need instructions? Tortillas! No! And then. You show us a thing, you give us another thing, we put them together. And we show you the things and then it. ((Applause)) Why did that happen? They were clapping for you. And then that happened. They were clapping for you. So, it locks. And then, so this is just, this is just easy. Come on. Challenge us guys. How does it? – [Stevie] It’s a tortilla toaster. I don’t know why it dumped out all your tortillas. But why does it? Because you toast them. Why does it waggle? – [Stevie] And then when they’re done. And then they’re done, you dump them. – [Stevie] Yeah. Cause you, cause you don’t want to, you can’t pull them out. What, you want to put a fork in there? Of course not. And then you hit off and then it, and then you do that and that’s exactly what you want it to do. – Look at that. – Oh, that’s nice. Warm. It’s nice, nice, but I don’t need it. ((Music)) – [Stevie] Last item. Your time starts now. Hey, listen, I’m so confident. Let’s do this one without even looking at it. And I’m so confident. I’m just gonna feel it. I’m gonna pick something and bring it back without even seeing it. It’s plastic. – [Link] Alright, I bet you. It’s got something in it. It’s got some. These are sands. Ziploc bags. There’s something inside of something else that shakes a little bit. – [Link] Egg. Egg. – [Rhett] And. Balloons? – [Rhett] Maybe. Do you think it’s the foam clay or an egg? I think you should bring a hard boiled egg over. Yep, yep, yep. That’s what I was thinking. Hard boiled egg. ((Laughing)) We are geniuses! ((Laughing)) Oh, we’re going to make a square egg. Put it in there. Hold on, but where do we? Oh, oh. Yes, I know what you’re gonna do, and you’re gonna do it, and then I’m gonna watch. Look at that. This is, we are intuition. We are gonna make a square egg! Cause, I didn’t even bring over all the eggs. And you know what? Maybe you need to heat it? No, check, check, check, check, check, check, check. Do I, do I not want to show that? – [Stevie] Yeah, minus five points. Minus five, what? No, no, no, no, hold on, Stevie. I didn’t put it down. Okay. There we go. And then. What are you doing? You’re smushing it? You’re smushing it? I’m making a flat egg. And then. So if you want your egg to be flat. You had to push way too hard. ((Applause)) Look at that. Look at that, guys. Can you believe how good we are at this? Yeah, we didn’t even look at it. Now, when does it become a square egg? Now. Oh, nice. I pressed too hard, but I think if I didn’t press too hard, it would have. How long do you have to let it sit before that happens, Lucas? – [Lucas] About 15 minutes. 15 minutes in the? – [Lucas] In the fridge. In the fridge, because if you don’t do that, then you kind of get this situation, which is, you know, I didn’t let it sit. And what’s the advantage of this? Like, what’s the practical reason for this? You can have as many eggs in your car as you want and they don’t roll all over the place. – [Stevie] You can build an egg-loo Oh! No, but for real though, why would I actually? Is it so it’s easier to slice? Link, not everything has a functional reason. Oh my gosh, look at that. Oh, I had it upside down. Some things are just cool. It makes me uncomfortable. Yeah, but if you were like, hey, you want a cubed egg? Like, you could sneak into the coop, and start putting these down, and then the chicken is just like, oh my God! Franny’s butthole is wrong! Cause, cause chickens do lay eggs out of their, their butthole. Technically their cloaca. The amount of times that we’ve mentioned cloaca on this show. At least a dozen. This is cool. – [Stevie] Freddy’s a cool name for a hen as well. How good did we do Stevie? I mean. – [Stevie] You did so good.
