Can we cut things perfectly in half…. Again? Let’s talk about that. Good Mythical Morning. Yes, you heard me correctly. Today we are attempting to cut things perfectly in half, Inspired by the German game show, Beat the Schlag. Once again, we know what you’re thinking. Is that really safe? Isn’t this a workplace accident waiting to happen? And to that we say, how dare you? Mm-hmm. We know what we’re doing. We’re professionals. Seen this movie? Seen it. Yep. I, yeah, I know the reference that man’s making. Professionals. Plus, the last time we did this, we, we all learned something about ourselves. I think I’m becoming bi. It means really good at bifurcating things. Right. It’s time for Wanna Go Perfect Halvesies? Part three. Welcome back to the Slicey Dicey, Cleanly and nicely zone. Okay, boys, you’re going to take turns attempting to cut items perfectly in half. Both halves don’t need to look the same, but they need to weigh the same. Yep. You’re working as a team, but only one of you’ll be cutting each round. And in order to win, you must successfully complete at least two of the three rounds. First up, Rhett will be cutting this beautiful gingerbread house with a mezzaluna, or a cordless circular saw. Only one way to find out. Flip that coin, please. Mezzaluna. This doesn’t look as fun as that. Okay. Tails is what we want, Link. Tails. Tails. Yeah, baby. Okay. Grab that saw. Can I grab it just for a second though, just cause. Well, Link, that’s not how the game works. Uh, we do also have a medic on set, so I guess grab the saw all you want, as always. Oh. We’ve given you joint access to an account at Weights Fargo, but we’re feeling extra generous today. So your account has doubled in size since last time. Yeah, thank you. You now have a whopping 32 ounces or two pounds that you may use. However you’d like to buy a little bit of slack for the cutter. For example, if you withdraw five ounces, then that means you can still win the round as long as the two halves weigh within five ounces of each other. But you gotta decide now, do you wanna pull anything from your account. Oh, we decide, right now? We don’t know what else is coming, but I’ll say. We’re so good at this. We’re so great at this. And this is light. This whole thing probably weighs less than two pounds. Oh, oh yeah. You can’t do it. You, you, you can’t touch it. You can’t touch it. Come on. You can’t touch it. The professionals don’t touch it. Alright. True, true, true. 32 ounces. We definitely shouldn’t use more than eight. We shouldn’t use more than a fourth. We should re we should be a little bit ahead of the game. Two more rounds, less six. Five. Ooh, you’re just saying that because she said five. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s a power of suggestion. She has that power. I’m suggested. I don’t, I don’t wanna waste it. Five. You’re put a lot of confidence in me, man. That’s right, man. You’re good. You’re good at this. So I feel like if you went straight in like this, what would end up happening is I wouldn’t get all the way into it. I feel like if I turn it completely 90 degrees. That’s what I was thinking. I mean, isn’t it the same both ways that way? Yeah, so. It’s not really on its base exactly way. I think if you, if I may, if you turn it back, but then you go like this. That’s what I’m talking about. Yeah. Yeah. But do it this way, you know, for the, so the people can see how good you are at it. How about doing it this way? Well, because then it’s gonna spatter on me. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay. Yeah. Oh yeah, buddy. Oh, that’s perfect. I’m right on it. Go down. You need me to hold it? No. Okay, but what about with a stick? I can’t tell you how right down the middle that is, but it’s right down the middle. I can tell you I’m, I can flip it. I mean, look at that. I split every diamond perfectly. Oh my goodness. Show that to the people. Look at that. Show that to the people. Look at that. You see that people? Alright, so now I’m gonna rotate it. Do the same thing on the other side. No, no, no. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Yeah. Okay. So we’re split that way. Now. Maybe flop it. That’s your job. Maybe we do a floop. Right? Yes. Uh huh. Oh, oh my goodness. Look at that. Okay, look at that. Oh, the and the floor is, the floor is removable. I’m, the decor inside of this thing is lacking. Yeah. Wow. So let me put this back together. It’s starting to shift. Yeah. I kind of need you to hold that, but I don’t want you to. So don’t. What? Don’t hold it like this. Don’t hold it. Don’t hold it. Well here. Get over. You go back over there. And this is what, this is what we’re gonna do. And now the present. That’s it. Okay. Right. Well, I’m good. Oh, no. Slipping, slipping, slipping. What? What? It’s slipping. Maybe start at the bottom. Okay. Look. Oh, I think I’m gonna have to– No, no, no, no, no, no. Just, uh, I can just cut this separately. I’ll just cut it separately. Okay. There you go. Just, yeah, let me just do that. There you go. Open here. You gotta barely touch the wood. Okay. All right. All right. Now I need you to. I’m trying to figure out. I need you just to fully rotate the whole thing. This is, we are going to be so perfect. Hold on. Did we think about icing placement? We didn’t. There’s more icing on the front, Link. There’s significantly more icing on the front. What was I thinking? Now’s your chance to fix that by– Cutting hard. Instead of going this way, go that way. Hard that way. All the way to the corner right there. Oh no. Oh no. Oh, no. Put that back up. Okay. Because that’s, that’s the cool way to do it like that. And so I want to go this way. There you go. Yeah. Wait, wait, wait. Yeah. Just so you get the vish. Yeah, just a little bit more. Boy, you have some fidelity to it. Follow it. Can I just set it down and do my thing? Of course you can, Rhett. And I’ll put it in the cut you’ve already made. Yeah. Yeah. What? I got it. Here we go. Okay. That pull apart? Okay, so now, okay, so this is the heavier side that goes on this right here. This side. What? Heavier goes on there. Right there. That’s one side. Here’s what I’m gonna do, then this, I’m gonna turn this back over like that. That’s what we’ve done there. And we, that one there and this floor here like that. Oh my god. Oh my God. Just here, I’ll just put it on. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Whew. So, hold on. We have a reputation to uphold. Okay. Hold a gum drop here. Hold on, hold on, on, hold on. Okay, hold on, hold on. And then hold on. I got this right here. Right here, right? All of this put there. And what about that? Yeah, look at us. Look at us with it. Two ounces! But everything’s not even on there yet. Hold on. Well, that didn’t, that didn’t hit. You’re already celebrating. Boom. Hey, celebrate again. Yeah, we did it. Okay, we got it. Yeah. Point, uh, points. Two ounces, right? Yeah, baby. Okay. All right. For this round, Link will be cutting a bale of hay. So go ahead and flip that coin to see if you’ll be cutting it with an electric carving knife or a Viking axe. What do you want, Link? I, I’ll manifest it. I kind of think I want, I know this is less precise. Might take more work, but. Tail it is. Yeah. Look at this Viking time. And, uh, does this go over? This is like a, Wii controller it, like. Yeah. That, that way? For safety. Yeah. Got it. Do you wanna withdraw anything from the– Oh, yes, we do! No, nothing. We’ve got 25 ounces left. 27. Yeah, we need it. Let’s go. 20 ounces. 20 ounce for the good. For the good for the old days. Okay. Like a good old drink. Yeah. Soft drink. All right. Now let me just see if you’re in the middle here. Can you, do you feel the middle and you feel it? Um, don’t, don’t, don’t, don’t come back. What if you– Like, if I’m, if I’m hugging this thing. Hug it and, and put your, are you the same, are you the same distance on each side? My arms are the same length, I think. Put your nose down. I’ll put my finger where your nose is. It’s also where the knife is. Right there. Yeah. Now keep your thumb there. Now put a knife there. Okay. Okay. There it is. That’s the middle. You stick right there buddy roll. Okay. Well, I’m glad. Oh, now you’re in. Now you’re in. Where you going? I’m afraid this thing’s gonna pop. Oh, see? See? There it went. Oh, nice, nice. Okay. The strings are being cut. Okay. He’s through. I got a table. He’s through. Huh, huh, huh. Keep coming closer to me. Keep coming closer. I’m just inviting you to. Because you keep doing it. I’m just wanna see mean this is important. What you’re doing right now is I think, maybe more precise than you’re being right now. Okay. So now. Take that and just rough it on the top. Yep. Cattle eat this? Oh yeah. Cattle. Love it. I don’t feel like I should, I can I touch at this point? Let’s do these one at a time. Can I touch it at this point? Okay. I will say you make your halves. Now you can’t put the stuff on the, on the scales, so make your halves. But you can both touch. We’re halving, we’re halving. Step out front, I’m gonna push it to you. Okay. Hold on. Don’t step that far out. We gotta figure out what’s happening right here though. And I know you, we don’t wanna block the people. That’s, that’s not what I said, yeah. So this right here. We have to, you have to halve that. We’ll just, yeah. We’ll all we, we’ll halve that in a second, let’s– Well, no Link. That’s that, that’s what I’m saying. You can’t, you, you have to make your decisions now. Okay. Yeah. Yep. Mm-hmm. Like that. That’s the decisions we’re making now. Mm-hmm. Look at us making powerful decisions now. Now basically all of that up here. All that. What about string? Having string, this string’s gonna go this way, and then this string’s gonna go this way. Good. Smart move. Yep, yep, yep. I’m a farm boy. Okay. All right. Or at least my relatives had farm boys. Okay. I’m gonna take this and put it on. Okay. 37. 37.11, 37.8. 36.6. Why is it? Hold on. Is someone actively eating it? ’cause it’s getting, I know. Why is it it’s disintegrating. Hold on. What’s happening? 35. Whoa. Hold on. Why is it getting, does hay evaporate? Why is happening? Why is it getting lighter? 34.5. Get, uh. Well, let’s just put this one on and see if it gets down to it. Okay. Alright. I’m pushing it forward. You’re grabbing it. Okay. It’s on there. On, yeah. Oh, no. We need this one to go down real fast. Hold on. That’s eight. It’s gonna go down. Yeah, but it’s, is it gonna go down seven pounds? Now that I look at them, I see that this one’s significantly wider. Yeah, it’s, yeah. I, this one’s, this one’s bigger. This one’s bigger. I can just look at it right now and tell. Yeah. Look. Look, we’re good enough at this to know when we haven’t done good at it. Hey. But I will say Stevie. Hey, there’s a lot of hay on the floor that didn’t make it onto the scale, and it really needs to go somewhere. No Rhett, come on. Let’s just let, let’s just say, you know what. Six pounds missing? Well, how many, oh yeah. You didn’t pull enough ounces. I’m sorry. It’s okay. You, you have more chances. Okay. All right. We just gotta get two outta three, right? Yeah. We’re still great at it. Yeah, we’re still great. We just weren’t good at it. We’re just not supernatural. Did you know that I have a video podcast with my father? He lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and we talk every week and catch up on stuff and I get him to pronounce things that he can’t pronounce and it’s just lovely hearing him talk honestly. Um, so watch it on YouTube. Dispatches from Myrtle Beach has its own channel, like, and subscribe. So you never miss an episode every Thursday. Yeah. Okay. For this final round, uh, Rhett will be cutting this, um, uh, Clown head mask situation head. Yes. Yes. What a mask, it’s a mask, right? But will he be cutting it with a hacksaw or a switch blade? Let’s find out. Well, I think you’re doing it with Yep. Head. Yeah, which is what– The hack saw. It’s what I would’ve chosen because it feels like. You can get a good line on it. Alright, first of all, middle part. Right. Yep. You wanna use your remaining? All of it, Stevie! We need to do what we can to redeem ourselves. Good Gosh, that is quite. This is wires. A mask. This is so wiring. Look at it. I mean, I guess you, you see through his eyeballs or you see through the nose? Okay, let me get this here. Just try, there’s a little hole. There’s a little hole in there, and you can do one of those things. Okay. I feel like you can hold this. I’m not going hurt you. Well, do I need to? I’m not gonna, I mean, I got control over this, but I gotta have somebody hold it. Okay. See, because otherwise it just goes. I think if I pull it, if I pull him tight like that. And I’ll hold like this. Going right to the middle of his, oh, God, might start a fire. Is it working? Um, his hair is so thick. This is not typically how you cut a clown’s hair. Okay. Um, I think that’s done with, uh. It’s almost like same fire, uh, steel wool. Like I cannot. I cannot get through the hair. There you go. There you go. Okay. I’m through. Yep. Oh, that look, that wicked hair is getting in there. Wicked hair. Oh yeah. Maybe if I come at it like this. Dang, that hair’s a problem. Hair’s a problem. What if you, uh, what if you now rotated the whole thing? Put him on his, on his back like that. And if I pull this down mm-hmm. I gotta get right on that nose, right in the middle of the nose. Why are you angling towards me? I don’t like. I’m not, there you go. We have, yep. Okay, so now we have, I feel like I just need to cut this in half. We have Splitsville over here. Is this, is this part of it? Look at that. He’s looking at himself. Hey, I like you. You’re beautiful. Before you do that, let’s drape this over that to use it as the the back. Okay. Okay, now get the back of his head. Gosh, this is a nightmare. Turn around. Okay. Oh, his back backside harder. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Little strokes. Little strokes. Little strokes. Pull out. I don’t wanna pull out when I’m in the groove, man. Okay. I know you don’t, buddy. It’s so hard to pull out once you’re in the groove. Okay, now right here. Let’s just pull this. See, I can see the tuft up hair. I’m gonna go right in the middle of it. Oh no. All the hair. No. Yank that hair. Yank that hair. I’m gonna cut it right here. And then I think you gotta pull the hair harder. Yes, yes. You are trying to cut my hair, but it’s not gonna work. Pull it. Pull it tighter. Pull it tighter. Just pull right on the hair. Oh my God. I can’t, I don’t know if I’m doing anything. Stay in it. Stay in it. Stay in it. Stay in it, stay in it, yes! Okay. Woo. Cheers. Okay. Okay, so now go back to this. Cheers, please. This is easy. This is just styrofoam. Yeah. And also probably not, doesn’t weigh very much. Alright, first, well let’s test and see if we indeed have half of the mask here. Oh, okay. Yeah. My name is Beau. and my name is Zeau. Together we make, yeah. Here, let’s, uh, let’s keep going with that. That was fun. Yeah. You don’t wanna milk it too hard. Oh, okay. So I’m gonna put my side down first. Ugh, I got some Beau in my eye. Okay. Now here. Make it, make it presentable, homie. Presentable. Yeah. All right. Here we go. Oh, so there’s no, set it up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Here we go. Oh, she’s light. Okay. Five. Five ounces. Okay, here we go. Get him to stand up here. Up. There we go. Oh, nope. Yes. yesY .5! We’re back. We’re back. We’re back. With our powers. Come convert. We can’t do it without our masks. What are you bi? Oh, well I think so. Okay.
