Today we’re gonna try a lollipop tart. Let’s talk about that. Good Mythical Morning. It’s September, which means summer vacation is coming to an end. Yeah, but what do you say, we squeeze in one last vacation? Let’s squeeze it. To an entirely different dimension. It’s time for Multiverse Munchies. In our universe, Pop-tarts are a beloved handheld breakfast pastry. Enjoyed by kids, kids at heart, and single 32-year-old men. And me. Oh, I don’t know why I was showing you the ingredients. [Link]: Don’t show them the ingredients. [Rhett]: It’s in case you forgot what was in them Pay no attention to the man showing the ingredients. There’s one side of this box that I want you to see. Pop-tarts. We have discovered and visited. A universe where things are quite different. Everything in this universe is on a stick. Everything. So when I was looking for Pop-Tarts there, I was happily discovering that they have, in present tense. [Rhett]: Yeah. [Link]: Present participle Yeah. [Link]: LolliPop-Tarts. [Rhett]: They also, they speak in present tense. They are speaking in present tense. [Rhett]: Right now [Link]: Yes, they are They are speaking there. And we were. We were, we are there. We, no, we were there. See, it’s hard. It’s hard to communicate what happened. ’cause we were there. We Well, we’re back in our universe. [Rhett]: We can use past tense. [Link]: We were there but we are We were, are being there. But we’re kind of always, the thing that we learned about other dimensions is that you’re kind of always experiencing everything. But anyway, everything’s on a stick there, including the people. So in order to blend in, yeah, you guessed it. We were on sticks the whole time. Babies are born with sticks. Yep. [Rhett]: Babies are born with sticks [Link]: Up, up their… But when people who aren’t from that dimension show up, they offer you a stick and you get to choose whatever size stick you want. And boy, why did I choose a big one? I don’t know. Why did I choose a big one? You ready for this to reveal? Yes. Why? Voila. Wow. That is, that’s beautiful Link. Don’t show the back. [Link]: Don’t, don’t show the back [Rhett]: Don’t show the back. Just like I would never show the back of this Pop-tarts box. You never show the back of that Pop-Tart. So This is a LolliPop-tart. [Link]: Oh, this is, I don’t want to bite it with my [Rhett]: you afraid? You’re afraid your teeth are weak? I don’t want to use my un-expendable ones. Well maybe just do a little lick. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That’s how you lollipop. Could you get some of that foil off? If there’s some foil on the back. Can you enjoy it like a lollipop and a Pop-tart at the same time? Do you think you can get the whole thing in your mouth? No, but I bet you you could. But you’ve licked it. I’ve only licked that one spot. You’ve licked it. You want me to dry it? Yeah, dry. Dry it. Dry it with a wet wipe. I’ll dry it with a paper towel. Could you white wipe it and then dry wipe it? [Link]: So [Rhett]: Wet wipe it. I don’t know what’s on the wet wipe. Yeah, I don’t care. Yeah, yeah. There you go. Nice. And, yep, go deep. And then paper towel. Okay. Paper towel. Yeah. And then foil dab. [Link]: Foil dab. [Rhett]: Then foil dab. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. I mean [Link]: I’m the one with the big mouth. [Rhett]: My mouth is My mouth is small though. So this is more of a challenge for you? Yeah. Oh yeah. Now I call that a sucker. Whoever fell for that assignment. This guy? No, no, no. Oh, come on. Be patient. You gotta suck, dude. You can’t break it off in your mouth. I like this because the more you lick The better it- The closer you get to discovering that there is an actual Pop-tart in there and you get, you get left with that. [Rhett]: Oh [Link]: So what are the What are the suckers with the gum the middle? Or the Tootsie Rolls. [Link]: suckers with the Tootsie Roll [Rhett]: Tootsie Roll Pop Blow Pop. [Rhett]: Blow Pop. [Link]: Blow Pop and Tootsie Roll Pops It’s the same thing, but better. Much, much better. Okay, so we’re saying LolliPop-tarts. Delicious Dimension In this universe, when it gets cold outside, we love to warm up with a comforting mug of Swiss Miss. Hmm, don’t we? Hmm? We do. Oh, take a sip of that. [Link]: You feel comforted? [Rhett]: That’s so nice But we found a universe where there are no liquids or solids, only mists. So when it gets cold, the people in this dimension like to warm up with a comforting Swiss Mister. [Rhett]: Mister [Link]: We brought it back but I really haven’t Used it much, oh Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah. So it’s just, I don’t know if you can see that. I can smell it. It smells so good. It smells so chocolaty. It tastes, It tastes great too. Now, we felt really at home in this dimension because the most popular name in our high school was Misty. [Link]: I don’t know what happened to ’em because [Rhett]: everybody loved the [Link]: I don’t know any Misty’s anymore, but [Rhett]: Misty’s. Well, most of them stayed at home. I should know one Misty I love a good Misty. Your face is turning into chocolate, man. It’s not as hot as it could be. And I don’t know if this is good for the pores. Oh, look, oh my God. It changed me. How are you changed? It changed me. Are you more open-minded? Yeah. It kind of like, it adhered to my beard and eyes in ways that I didn’t anticipate. [Rhett]: Oh Gosh [Link]: We could have gone to [Rhett]: Look at my hair [Link]: A dimension where it’s. Swiss Mister was like some sort of commentary on gender chocolates. [Rhett]: But we didn’t do that [Link]: But we didn’t go there. We thought about it. [Rhett]: We didn’t go there, right. [Link]: Literally or figuratively. We went here, so now we’re covered in like, a chocolate residue on our faces every time we open this thing. Now I know why everybody was wearing the ponchos at the, at the ball that we went to. Yeah. That is their [Rhett]: It seems like the gears changed. [Link]: What’s happening? I’m not loving this. No, I just feel like liquid or solid is the way that I like to enjoy things. The in-between is really, you know, it’s an uncanny valley for me. I’ll tell you that. My uncanny valley is getting wet. Yep. So, I don’t know what, I think it went down my shirt. Yep. So we’re gonna say Swiss Mister is a Snack Offension In our universe, We have the Po-Boy, it’s a New Orleans specialty. Named originated from the striking streetcar workers or the poor boys, to whom the sandwiches were first served. This is a good, good sandwich. We got some fried shrimp on this thing, slaw, little mayo, tomatoes, which I would pull off, but Mm mm mm. So this is like a New Orleans staple. Mhmm. It’s gonna be hard to outdo that. Well, we found a universe where there are no poor boys at all, because everyone is fabulously wealthy. The boys, the everybodys, but even the fabulously wealthy there still love sandwiches. So instead of Po-boys, they tell down on the rich boy, which is really expensive. How much did we pay for this? I think we paid $514. Yeah, but the dollars are different. So I haven’t done the conversion. Okay. I mean, I think it was even more, I think it was more like 616 or something like that. [Rhett]: But don’t quote me on that, right [Link]: In American dollars? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s like the Aussie dollar. And this is real, right? You, Nicole, you analyzed this [Nicole]: Yes. And you add up all the ingredients. 500, over $500. [Nicole]: Yes, $514 and 96 cents. [Nicole]: But who cares about the change? Okay. Right. Who does? They don’t. So what do we got in here? ’cause I mean, they’re just throwing around money. Left and right. [Nicole]: Crazy. You’re walking down the street, somebody comes up to you with a clipboard and and they give you money. Yeah, they do. And listen, we had to park because we had a car while we were there. We rented a car. It was very expensive. [Rhett]: But then we [Link]: It was a Rolls. We didn’t really understand how the parking worked. We ended up parking in a spot where we ended up getting a boot put on our car. But the boot was a red bottom, Louboutin. As you were saying Was that worth it? What your analysis. [Nicole]: You wanna know what we got in there? Dictated what? Yeah, yeah, yeah [Nicole]: Sure, so we have a saffron and truffle remoulade, deep fried uni. [Nicole]: Reminder uni is sex organs from a sea urchin. Yeah, thanks for the reminder. [Nicole]: some black caviar, [Nicole] Shiso leaf, and heirloom tomato. [Nicole]: And of course it’s all topped on a gold leaf. [Nicole]: Hoagie roll. [Nicole]: Eat the tomatoes Link, they’re heirloom. [Nicole]: They’re special. Yep. Well, I’m less afraid of the tomatoes than I am of the other stuff that’s on this thing. Why did we bring this back? [Nicole]: It’s fancy, it’s opulent. Hmm. It’s sex organs and tomatoes. [Nicole]: Exactly. It’s like my worst nightmare. [Nicole]: Fancy and opulent Black eggs. Boy, it actually is pretty nice. It’s actually really nice. I think that’s what I’ve been missing with uni is the deep frying of it. [Nicole]: Yeah, I never saw it until you brought the analysis. [Nicole]: I never ever saw deep fried uni before. Not bad. You’ve never seen that? [Nicole]: I’ve never in my life seen deep fried uni before. Well, you need to try to replicate this because it’s pretty… It’s really good. It’s really good. Pretty impressive. Is it better than one of these fried shrimp? Is it, is this an, is this one sex organ in there though? It’s like a mush. [Nicole]: Yeah, I don’t know exactly how sea urchins like mate and stuff, [Nicole]: but whenever you crack open a sea urchin, there’s like [Nicole]: anywhere from like 5-12 little nodes, little sex nodes. Okay. Sex nodes. Hmm. Okay. What’s that again? This is pretty surprising. [Nicole]: That’s, shiso leaf, so it’s a family [Rhett]: Shiso Leaf. [Nicole]: It’s related to the mint family. Very popular in Asian cuisine. It’s got, that’s neat, man. I’m impressed. I’m sitting here eating Uni. I think it was worth the boot. Wow Rich Boy is a Delicious Dimension. Now in our dimension, especially in our little corner of the universe known as North Carolina, Bojangles has been our go-to spot for fried chicken and a little taste of home. Whenever we go back, we definitely get it. Mm-hmm. [Link]: It’s so good, it’s so good [Rhett]: Gonna take a little bite. It’s like Popeye’s, but Just to remember. [Link]: Different [Rhett]: Oh, coming to Los Angeles too. Dirty rice, baby. Oh man. Now, we don’t do this very often, but we went back to the same dimension where we tried that place. Windy’s. Wendy’s with an I. Remember that? Yeah. [Rhett]: I don’t remember a lot about that place but [Link]: Vaguely they don’t have a Bojangles there. They have a Blowjangles, which I don’t, we haven’t tried it, so we don’t know exactly what that means. Yeah, so we brought back the blow box so that we could try it for the first time here. And everything kinda looks the same. Dirty rice. Oh yeah. Oh, Blowjangles. No, I get it, now Mm-hmm. Alright. It explains why, you want a biscuit. It tastes great. It’s blow time. It’s blow time. That’s their. That’s the slogan. I wonder if the rice is just as dirty as it is in North Carolina. Can I try some? Let me try Let me I bet you if I try. Oh [Rhett]: I was [Link]: Pick up the rice. I’m sorry. I was trying. I bet. I bet you if I try it, you’ll be able to taste it. Can I have the rice? Oh, sure. It blew over there. Oh, sorry. I was truly trying to get into my mouth. Okay. I got, I got one. I got one. I got one. I got one. I got a, I got a grain, I got a grain in the eye and I got a grain in the mouth and it’s pretty dirty. It tastes so good though. Well, it’s a bit frustrating that more didn’t get into our mouths, especially yours. I think it’s pretty, it’s pretty tasty. Blowjangles. It’s a Delicious Dimension. You good? I had to wash my face and I keep finding dirty rice in my hair. But you know, I’m good. I’m still good. Don’t forget to come back for Good Mythical Weekend tomorrow, right here on this channel.
