Can we do food trick shots
with the kings of trick shots?
Let's talk about that.
Good Mythical Morning and please welcome
Sparky and Garrett from Dude Perfect.
Give us one of these.
Brother.
Press it up.
Alright, there we go.
There we go.
Thank you, boys.
An honor to be here.
Okay.
Glad to have y'all.
Glad to have you, now, listen, y'all are
known as the Trick Shot experts, but how do
you feel about defending that on our turf?
Uh, it's never easy, uh, playing
away from home, you know?
Yeah, that's right.
It's a hostile environment here,
so, uh, you know, we gotta lock in.
We've never been scared
of a challenge though, so.
Yeah, we gotta lock in.
Now you, you typically use
balls, that's your thing.
But we use food.
That's our thing.
So how you feel about that?
I love food.
Uh, it's one of my favorite pastimes,
so I think, I feel comfortable.
You're gonna have to carry us, Gar.
Oh, you don't, you don't like food?
No.
Okay.
Good.
Okay.
All right.
It's time for He Shoots, He
Snacks with Dude Perfect.
Okay, boys and dudes, you're going to
go back and forth attempting a series
of food trick shots, and whichever
duo succeeds first wins the round.
The losing duo will have to
endure a tricky food punishment.
For your first trick shot, you must, from
behind the line, flip a pancake behind your
back using a spatula and land it in the pan.
And since Rhett and Link are at the obvious
disadvantage, we're gonna let them go first.
What you talking about Stevie?
Mm-hmm.
Uh, that's fine.
I'm just glad we don't have to eat all this.
When you say behind the back,
you don't mean this though.
You mean over the shoulder?
Over the shoulder.
The shoulder.
We'll do it over the shoulder.
Yes, that is what I meant.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
Okay, so we're good.
So we we're 15 feet.
No pressure, dude.
Link don't go too high.
And you wanna go really hard and long.
And you can't look.
All right.
You can look now, but you
can't look when you do it.
Calibrate.
So many rules.
I know, man.
Okay, here we go.
One last peek.
Oh, that would've been actually
really good if that didn't.
But you gotta watch the, the, uh.
That was.
Alright.
Okay.
Yeah.
Limp wristed there.
Uhhuh.
Where is it?
A little more conviction.
Perfect.
Starting with a whimper.
You went halfway.
Okay, here we go.
Dense pancakes.
Ooh, Link.
Hey, hey, hey.
I'm not, Hey, I'm not tagging you out, man.
I think you got this.
I think you got it, Link.
This might be your thing.
You gotta really, you're right online.
You just need to go like, 10% harder.
Okay.
A little more arc. You there?
He's a little more arc.
He's learning something now.
Alright, I got it.
10% harder.
I got it.
You're going the other way.
Oh, Link's all over it, man.
15% harder.
He's dialed.
Get in there.
Okay.
At least we go.
We went long.
Yeah.
That's good shot there.
That was hard.
It's in the heaven.
What did I hit?
You hit right here.
So you gotta go a little bit, you gotta
stay on the same arc. That was good D right?
A little bit harder.
Yeah.
It was just a little left Gar.
Oh, okay.
Now you're back, just a little bit short.
Okay.
Okay.
So he's zeroing in on it.
Program.
Because he understands it now.
Okay.
Oh, I feel it.
We need you to understand it.
Yeah, that's understanding.
It's, it's getting not much
understanding really good.
Like it hit way short.
Ooh.
Good, Gary, how short?
You wanna, you want to tag in
or you want me to keep going?
You got a couple more pancakes in you.
Okay.
You, you seem dialed.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like I need you to have a turnaround here.
I'm going to, I'm gonna have to step in.
Yeah.
And now you're back to where you were.
Okay.
The bullpen.
Ooh.
Which is great.
It just needs to be a little.
Yes.
I,
I get it.
Get a rebuttal.
You get a rebuttal.
I didn't even look.
Well, that's the point of, hold on.
Yeah, yeah.
Hold on.
You got a chance.
One time.
Oh.
That's in Pasadena.
Can you believe it?
No.
Wow.
Wow.
What?
Very impressive.
Can I watch a replay?
Um, later.
Later.
You know what?
I couldn't have done it without this one.
Hey Dudes, I'm sorry to say you are facing
the first punishment of the episode,
which is that you have to eat this pancake
topped with some, uh, unusual foods.
What is that?
Oh, it's just.
Is that sardines.
Worth, it's worth a little bite to see.
Okay.
Uh, it's just, it's Tex-Mex for you guys.
I'll hold the plate for a minute.
Yeah, it's definitely queso.
Skillet queso.
Uh.
Oh man.
Water on standby.
I think, from what I could tell, that's,
uh, gonna be some, uh, some kind of
fish and maybe some black licorice.
Oh, I, I don't want to talk right now.
Yeah, just taste.
What do we got in that, Stevie?
Mm. Yeah, you did spot the licorice.
Uh, we also have some blue
cheese, cilantro, and anchovies.
Mm. Hey, they seem to love it.
For this next food trick shot, one of
you must get a Hot Cheeto into your
teammate's mouth using the salami spoon
catapult while standing behind the line.
And the catcher must stay
seated and stationary.
Sparky and Garrett, you
can go first this time.
How did you choose who was receiving?
I've received a lot of flaming hot
Cheetos in my day, so it was only fitting.
Okay.
And I think Gary's got some
sausage fulcrum to him history.
So to give us an opportunity to get into a
rhythm, we'll let everybody go five times.
I like it.
Love it.
Okay, and then we'll switch out.
Sparks, you ready?
Love it.
Yeah.
It's not about winning, it's
about not losing, Garrett.
We need this one baby.
That one's never coming back.
Really good distance.
Never coming back.
Okay, that's one, we got four more of these.
Okay.
Yeah.
What's going, what's going into your, uh.
Why am I going so high?
How, what, how do I fix that?
Uh, you gotta adjust.
You gotta adjust the angle.
Maybe like that.
Uh, little, little to the left, Gar.
I assume this is just how
you feed your kids, Garrett.
I might start.
Train him in the trick shot ways.
Okay.
Okay.
Oh, that was better.
Better?
That's better.
He's learning something.
And is it true that you named
one of your kids after me?
It is.
We talked about that in the car, ride over.
It is, yeah.
Lincoln, he's, uh.
Middle child.
Middle child.
Great kid.
All right.
I got a middle child named Lincoln.
Well, there you go.
They're the best middle children.
Yeah.
I wish they'd step in this competition.
I did.
Well, I'm never getting this.
Uh, yeah, you got one more and you might.
Oh, I can just move the
table, I can, I can my.
Oh yeah, you can do that.
Is this the same sausage that
you guys tested this with?
Mm-hmm.
Okay, this is not a substitute sausage.
Oh.
Okay, that was power trajectory.
Okay.
Alright.
That's what I thought.
Hey, there's a learning
curve to these things.
You got a bigger.
I got, uh, to 12 feet.
One of them's in Pasadena.
We weren't that close.
I got the bigger mouth, so I'm sitting down.
Assuming they don't get
it on their first try.
I feel like got to panic.
Let's see how, let's say how they perform.
Let me just get a feel for it here.
Oh, oh, you bank it off with the beat.
Okay, that's way too hard.
Okay.
He puts the.
Okay.
You see the thumb stabilization?
That's good.
Cru before.
Hey, hey, you gotta go, go this
way a little bit, little bit more.
There you go.
Need better communication.
They're, they're, yes.
I'm, so.
You keep banking it off of that, which.
I'm so happy.
Technique.
The thing is finding this angle that
would be long enough to go that I
don't know, I'm trying to figure out.
I think you need to pull the, the
panel back further so that the
fulcrum is closer to the Cheeto.
Yeah, that's what I just did.
I, I had, I don't even
know what they just said.
Cheeto.
Yes, yes.
Keep doing that.
I'm trying to watch.
Oh, I get it now.
It's, I'm shortening.
Garrett, if, if we win this one, I think
that I need to start getting to know Lincoln.
Yeah, this is the last one.
Please hang it.
Okay.
We're good.
Okay.
We got it Now.
See, the problem with making.
He might need, you know,
another father figure.
Yeah.
The problem with making
that shorter, that's good.
That's good.
Is it sent it, it sent it straight,
it didn't send it far enough.
'cause now I don't have enough
power, so that didn't work.
He put his hand here.
Okay.
Yep.
Take the training wheels off, brother.
It's time to ride.
Oh, okay.
I just wanted to know I had the power.
Sure.
The power is there.
Well, we need to really get rid of that beam.
Why did he go so high?
I think maybe, yeah, I think other way.
This way.
Yep.
Yep.
That's what I, that's.
That's what he did.
And then it's not, that's
what I did in power.
It's not enough power.
Oh, okay, good though.
Okay.
What was that?
What did you just learn?
I learned a lot.
He learned something.
He's not as hard.
Epiphany.
You don't have to hit
it as hard as you think.
Easy, Gar, don't.
It's okay.
You know?
Yeah.
I, I'm willing to eat more sardines.
Okay.
Also, just to, you know,
offer you some more options.
We do have a secondary sausage.
So now that you've both
gone, you may, you may.
Well, they shut the door.
Um, oh yeah.
I'm just giving you future options.
You keep it even.
I need to use the same sausage.
Okay, the next time.
Then we can talk about
some the resources next.
You know what, it's better
that it's a mystery.
You guys can picture what type of sausage I'm
talking about and it'd be a nice surprise.
I think he's gonna get it
here though, unfortunately.
Oh, okay.
See, it's straight.
Now, he sees he's got it.
Well, because you want push down,
want the spoon to hold onto it longer.
Longer, right.
You want it to hold onto it longer?
Ah, ah, yeah.
Garrett.
Garrett.
I'm not saying that you
wouldn't be his primary dad.
I'm just saying I would be just like an
additional force of positivity in his life.
I mean.
Yeah.
Somebody he could look up to.
Yeah.
You, you said it Sparky.
You ready, Link?
Okay.
I don't know.
I don't know.
So I moved it in the wrong direction.
Lemme see this.
All these spoons are the same.
Uh, rotate the hip, yep.
It's a blown family waiting to happen.
Okay?
Okay.
That was five, right?
That was five, um.
You guys want that other sausage?
Should we make, should we
change to the other sausage?
I don't know what it is.
Smaller.
You just have the option.
Let's bring in the other sausage, and I'll
also say you all four have the option since
you've gone equally to, if you want, to
move the chair forward to the next red line.
No, we're not there yet.
Okay.
Let's just go, let's go
second sausage options then.
Yeah.
So you really think this new salami
is gonna do something for us?
Ah.
It's got secret salami powers.
Let just see here.
Well, let's find out.
There's just not enough
power there, I feel like.
That's gonna go straight up.
I'll also allow you to use both sausages.
Yeah, I was gonna say, I think
you might want to go here.
Okay.
I feel like a sausage overload.
Is it?
Should we try one?
Sure.
Yeah.
Then go standalone secondary sausage after
that can also pull it closer to the end
so that the handle goes below the table.
Congrats on the win here, Sparks.
Yep.
It's, oh, it has a. Oh.
There's a notch on the spoons that
like lock it into a certain position.
Have you noticed that Garrett hasn't
engaged in my smack talk about his children?
Look.
Oh, yeah, because he does too.
Yeah.
Yeah, he, he smack talks them all the time.
He's trying to be nicer out in the, oh no.
On our show.
Okay.
There.
Okay.
This is the double sausage is the way.
This is revolutionary stuff right here.
Double sausage is the way.
Stevie, is that what you were hoping for?
Yeah.
Oh.
Wow, that.
Was such a good line.
Right in between the feet.
Oh.
I mean, if you, if we allowed you
to lean forward, you couldn't call.
Thats in play.
It's four or five.
I think this is four.
I think it's five.
Okay.
Oh, ah, Sparks.
Yeah.
Okay.
That's fine.
We'll end it.
Oh, that was launched.
Okay.
It was a blue origin rocket.
Okay.
Oh, you gotta go, go this way.
Gotta gotta move.
Just a little bit.
Too left to avoid disaster.
Rotate it.
They knew what they were doing.
I'm opening my mouth so wide.
I can't use my eyes anymore.
Good.
Park two cars in that garage.
Oh.
Oh.
It's so okay.
All right.
Hey, hey, hey, we're here.
Alright.
Yeah.
This is it.
This is the way.
Alright, now it's game on.
Training camps over regular season started.
Come on, Gary.
Thanks for that extra sausage.
Okay.
Okay.
This is, is this what they call locking in?
Yeah.
I've never locked in.
You've never locked in on anything before.
Never use a phrase.
Oh gosh.
Oh, oh, oh.
I will allow tongue movement.
Yeah.
Yeah, wow.
Get it.
Oh my gosh.
That was, I stretch as far as I could.
Your tongue is too short.
That was, that was good.
The thing that's happening here.
We are so close, we're dialing in.
There's this dynamic to what we're doing that
obviously you've tapped into for years that.
There's this, I don't know, there's
this tension that builds that then.
Yeah, totally.
I'm just, my body's starting to tingle.
Yeah.
Yes.
And I just feel like I'm gonna explode.
Yeah.
This is the most important
thing in the world right now.
Right here.
I'm right here, right now.
Nothing else matters.
This will change the course of history.
Once it goes in my mouth,
I am gonna go ballistic.
Yeah.
Okay, good.
Right on line.
Their line is so good though.
Gosh.
Their line is so good.
Oh, wow.
That felt so good.
You mind if I use this ground spoon?
I don't care at all.
I'm surprised that you haven't
talked about your three point
record in front of these guys.
Oh, we got a good one.
They probably already know.
Yeah.
I'm surprised I'm the one mentioning it.
Yeah, I, I was, wait, I was waiting for you.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was only 1996.
Good year.
That was good year.
Good year for three pointers.
Harnett Central High School.
Somebody hit 77 threes in the regular season.
Say the game May.
It may have been me, it may rotate.
It may still stand as the high school record.
Oh, I'm not moving up yet.
I think you're locked.
Before we move up, we move bodies.
Maybe we allow for some body movement.
Cheeks on seat cheek.
Cheeks on?
Yes.
What you just said.
Cheeks on seat.
Cheeks gotta be on the seat.
Okay.
Oh gosh.
It sounded French, almost.
Cheeks on seat.
On cheeks, on seat.
Yeah, we eat cheeks on seat.
Come on Gary.
I feel good about this one.
It's just a nine route right to your boy.
Oh, if we move up, it's fast.
Sparky, you got any kids
you want me to father?
Um, not yet, but I'll
get back to you on that.
Okay.
Oh, oh, that.
Wow.
Phone.
I've never felt so much sport energy here.
I love it.
Come on.
Oh, that is it.
In and out.
Caught my front tooth.
Is it this one or this one?
So close.
It back, it was in and out.
I won't take your punishment
if we lose, but that's on me.
In and out.
All right, all right.
Here we go.
Okay.
I'm locked in.
If you win this competition, I'll
allow you to be the weird uncle.
Uh, okay.
Well.
But it, it has to be,
this is your weird uncle.
Yep.
Okay.
You ready?
Okay, I'll drop it.
Uncle, you ready?
Ooh.
Jesus.
Okay.
Was that, there's so much happening here.
Was that over your head?
It was, yeah.
The sausage is getting a little slippery.
Rotate.
Yeah.
No, no, no, no, no.
Oh, we were dialed in though.
I know.
What happened.
It started mov- it was
like the wind caught it.
Is knuckle ball.
He got a knuckle Cheeto.
The wind caught it.
Chin, I saw some chin.
This is happening, this happening.
But you, feel me?
Dial in the line every time.
Yeah, that's key.
I think this is, this is about to hurt.
Deep breath.
Let's party.
You ready?
Let's party.
Man, the mic has, yeah, that microphone.
I think you might need to rotate.
Hopefully it's making a cool
noise every time it gets hit.
Yeah, it's better.
Slight turn, Gary.
One left, or two?
Two, two.
Slight.
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
No.
Hold, hold on.
Proof, proof, proof, proof.
Hold on.
Proof.
Okay, Link.
Hey, pressure's on.
Or was that, yeah.
All right.
It was our first try ever.
Yeah.
First try.
For those who don't follow.
And that's not me.
Define a rebuttal.
Um, we went first, so it's only fair to give.
Yeah.
Y'all the ability to match
how many attempts it took.
Or.
I knew that.
I knew.
Or to best.
Or to best it.
Yeah.
What's the dark side of this?
This, that is the on unfortunate side.
This Cheeto, it's a heartbreak hotel.
Alright, Link.
Help me dial in the direction.
Rotate?
Yep.
Good rotation.
Oh, glasses up.
Anyways.
My butt.
My butt jumps up.
We had liftage.
Yep.
This is the only way to
win is to get this one.
I can't watch.
It's like a pk.
I just can't watch.
Oh.
Okay, we can tie.
Okay, tie.
I should have took the tie.
I should've put the tongue out.
How's our line?
Good.
Oh.
Okay.
Alright fellas.
Okay.
Yes.
Alright.
You take this one.
Punishment I think goes, yeah.
Uh, Rhett and Link, you have to
eat this extra hot, hot Cheeto.
Oh no.
And you know how we do things around here.
Yeah, we dink it.
And we sink it.
That little dink and sink.
Oh, it's hot.
I, I can taste, it's gonna hurt.
Just a little scorpion pepper.
The hiccups are about to happen.
Okay.
It's down.
Oh.
Oh, it's hot.
Ooh, that's bad, boy.
Harness it.
Harness.
Oh.
Don't.
For your final trick shot, you must throw
a grape, hit it with your head from behind
the line and land it in the bowl of Nutella,
and Rhett and Link, you're up first.
What?
It's core power here.
Link, I'm gonna say,
I'm, I'm counting on you.
You're the soccer man.
I was the goalie.
I was the keeper.
Because.
Oh.
Tell 'em.
I have long arms.
No, tell 'em about me.
Oh, because, well, you scored two
goals with your left foot in one game.
Yeah.
That was the only goals you ever scored.
Are you left footed?
Could have.
I'm not even.
Yeah.
Whoa.
Right foot.
Let me know when you hit 77
three pointers in the season.
Yeah.
Uh, let us, let us know when
we finally impress you guys.
I don't have as much, uh.
We keep trying.
I don't have as much mobility as I used
to have, so I can't cross this line.
This, the 14 foot line.
Correct.
This feel, this feels impossible.
Uh, that's good to hear.
There you go.
It looks.
Caught hair.
Caught.
You killed that.
Okay.
Where did it hit me?
Um, I don't know.
It felt like it hit me
on the top of the head.
It was the hair.
You hit on the hair, the top of the head.
Oh, eh.
What are you looking for?
A grape.
A big boy.
There's a whole bowl of 'em there.
A big boy.
A lean back, fat Joe, lean back.
Oh, that's horrible.
Oh, that's horrible.
That made more.
Test drive.
It made more sense than what I did.
That was a test drive.
Yeah, I did, I did like the
fact that your arm fluttered.
Yeah, yeah.
Like that.
There was a little bit of that.
So what happens, if y'all lose this, what
happens when you get back to Dude Perfect hq?
Oh, we're turn in our resignation.
We don't.
We need more power.
Yeah, we're gonna have
to generate some power.
Okay.
Okay.
More power.
We don't know.
Power.
I thought it was gonna go further myself.
Okay.
All right.
Whoa.
Somebody's got an advantage.
Yeah, I know.
Don't have any hair.
Be the grape.
Be the grape.
Oh.
Oh.
It even gave, there was some fluid.
Okay.
Juice broke my head.
It broke on my head.
That looked good though.
Yeah.
Yeah, it was good form.
Okay.
No way.
Oh, nothing.
I was gonna help you with
the little nothing, dude.
Where did it go?
Because it, it went on your body.
It it right here.
It feels like it's going further.
The problem is, as soon as I do
a header, my hair covers my eyes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I can't see that that's going.
You know what doesn't cover my eyes.
Hair.
Yeah.
Here we go.
Sunroof open.
Here we go.
Oh, he is doing the rocking.
It would've counted.
If we would've counted that.
It would've a teammate's head on
him that we would've counted it.
I, oh man.
Is this doable?
We might have to move closer, but
I, I don't wanna admit that yet.
Sure.
I mean, can I just.
Oh, that's so bad.
We need a, we need more of the power, man.
Yeah.
I'm really hard into the forehead.
I don't think that there's nothing,
there's no way that will work.
Yeah.
You don't have EyePro on though.
I'm gonna try.
Okay.
Yeah, I, I don't.
Should I. I, I don't wanna
tell you how to trick shot.
No, I, I would love for you to do that.
I don't see how that's gonna work,
but I would love to see you try it.
If this works.
You might've just saved my eyesight.
You know?
Thank you.
Okay, here we go.
I don't think you can lose
eyesight through grape.
Okay.
Is that.
You go again dude.
I'm gonna let you go again.
Practice swing.
It was a practice swing.
Link, I think what we need is we need
it in the air and we need to like
go back to those soccer days, man.
Yeah, it's just like.
You literally, maybe Link, a little bit of
this like, boom, you throw it from the side.
Yeah, as long as your feet take
off from there, could you land?
Yeah, I think we got, yeah, as long
as you take, it says three point rule,
you know, it's like you gotta start,
let's just start behind the line, but.
Okay.
You could end up halfway there.
How about that?
Alright.
Okay, that like.
It looks great.
All right, Garrett.
That's something.
It looks great.
I believe in you.
I know.
Oh, he didn't hesitate.
Oh, oh, oh.
Maybe rushed it.
Okay.
I did rush.
I hit my nose.
Maybe you rushed it.
Yeah, I'm getting serious now.
Oh, he put the hair up.
I was hoping he wouldn't do that serious now.
It feels like it should go further.
I know.
And then you're putting power into that.
And then it just like it is just right there.
Falls down.
You're not hitting it in the right spot.
Whoa, whoa.
It skipped over the bowl.
A bowl skipper.
Yeah.
And we would count that a bounce counts.
Oh, right.
I mean, gentlemen counts.
Oh yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
All right.
Okay.
That's good.
There's a method to the madness.
Yeah, the leap forward is
what we're all adopting.
Oh, I just go ahead straight down.
That's okay.

Just in that way.
Whoa.
