use an app to order pizza at most places now no human interaction whatsoever but she wants help with her shyness I’m just saying you can live with it if you have to I think we should help her and other people with their shyness okay let’s do so let’s not perpetuate it what’s it called when you exacerbate no when you help somebody help yourself keep their problems intact enable enable is not and able shyness um let’s disable it you made the first step you’ve asked for help here okay you know here’s the thing we’re all a little self-conscious Samantha but the key is when you get into a situation you’ve got to make up your mind like it seems like you’ve done to overcome the shyness shyness is not who you are it’s just something that you might do and act on at certain points in your time and in your life in your time in your timeline of shyness don’t label yourself a shy person just say I act shyly sometimes and then make a decision to change make a decision to make eye contact with people oh you’re coming up with this oh yeah yeah that’s my first thing make eye contact knows people are self-conscious and most people are thinking about themselves I think when someone shy they’re thinking about themselves so you need to start to direct those thoughts outward you need to just realize that every single person is not thinking about you when you interact with them they’re thinking about themselves like you’re saying and once you realize that everyone even the cool kids are always thinking about themselves and trying to be cool it kind of breaks it breaks it down and they’re not just thinking about you and how uncool you are or how what you’re going to say something wrong or your voice is going to crack when you start talking I think it’s good to not just focus on my focus outward I mean you focus on what people are saying or what’s going on or ask questions about other people okay this is good we’re actually giving good advice yeah and I’m gonna give some even better advice because legitimately there are documented cases of people overcoming shyness through lucid dreaming I’m not kidding there was this woman Jake says like laughing at you there was this woman who had an incredible social anxiety disorder could not be around people could not do any public speaking so she mastered the art of lucid dreaming and she would create an environment in a lucid dream where there was a bunch of people that she had to do a public speaking engagement for or just interact somebody she was intimidated by she and she overcame her shyness through lucid dreaming so that’s always an option it’s a little more difficult and if you don’t know how to lucid dream you can just close your eyes and pretend to lucid dream but just visualize yourself making syrine eye contact with people Grant Andrews asked I’m short I wish to appear taller help now I can relate to this now I’m first of all I’m not sure people people meet us on the street and they say I could relate this but first of all I am NOT short they say the first thing they say when they see both of us on the street because we hang out on the streets yeah or on the streets all the time they don’t say anything to you they turn to me and they say wow you’re taller than I thought you were yeah they don’t say wow Bret you’re a giant well they do say don’t happen do you have a condition they say wow link you don’t have a condition of shortness right so but I can relate to people thinking I’m sure and I don’t even like that the point is is it’s all about perspective if you’re short and you don’t and you’re not comfortable with it you got to get short friends shorter than you because then when you’re seen in a group you’re going to be the tall one now or or you can force perspective get closer to people yeah you could see like if I get way up here see how much bigger I looked and right I’m bigger than red yep that’s hard to do that’s hard to maintain you got to get metals Facebook you can defriend and harsh I you can overcome shyness in shortness at the same time by getting right in people’s faces with Syrian I can’t make eye contact but seriously if you have people like me who are super tall in your life just defriend us if you’re if you feel bad about this because the guy with the I create a lot of shortness just by being myself you know I mean you know you shouldn’t be my friend is basically the thing but it means too late for us we’re friends friends that’s another t-shirt that you could I create shortness wherever I go uh people ask about the Klingon meetup a healthy it alright so it gave us an idea that I’m calling shit-faced we want you to ship face us and all right so first of all you know what shipping means right that’s on the internet ending something out no received from some no on the internet when you ship sewing on when you ship to people you put them in a relationship together okay now like I’m married like Hannah and grace they do a lot of stuff together but they’re just friends but then people ship them together in photos I think is how it works and then they there’s like a tumblr tag going on you know ship you kids know all about that you relationship people together now we’ve got our relationships on lock so we’re and that’s you like that terminology just like kind of like wrap terminal my relationship is on lock but our idea is that you can ship face us we want to get ship based we’re going to post two pictures on our tumblr of just my face and then read face and then you can create a combination of the two aspects of our faces into one thing and let me tell you this is going to be entertaining because there’s a guy a peppy saucy face on on the community the rental and community who took just a picture of us and photoshopped my hair or you Matt it right now right yeah my hair on to you and I’m looking at right now – and your hair on to me and created this opposite day picture and unbelievably it is amazing how poorly my hair works on you and your hair works on me I mean I decided that I both made the right choice I look like Waylon Jennings is what I look like in early Waylon Jennings I really think I do and I don’t know who you look like you look like a military instructor like a drill sergeant with a gizmo shirt on it’s amazing how bad my haircut looks when it you put it on your head so uh when you ship faces
