so you’re having a baby how do you come up with a name let’s talk about that good mythical morning yes my hair is down it will be up momentarily hold your horses we ask you via social media outlets to ask us for advice and then we ask ourselves what advice have you asked that we would want to answer and then we answer it and that’s what’s going to happen here Megan Paula Elyse Langford whoa we’re having a baby girl in a month’s time and we can’t decide on a name help and advice please great question you know because there’s babies being made all the time and you got a name them you can’t just call them baby you can’t just call them boy we called my kids boy for the first year until we decided on a name until you observe their personality enough that’s not our advice our advice is not wait until you’ve observed their personality and then give them a name like the American Indians I think they do it nothing wrong with that well the first thing you gotta you gotta take into account is what does it sound like with your last name your last name is Langford so you don’t want to do something like Danford you know you don’t want to get its name Danford Langford that’s a bad idea just for starters it needs to sound good with your last dank fürs just a bad name I mean I don’t care what your dad’s name is dang furred McGlothlin doesn’t sound bad yes it does it’s cut it’s got gang as part I you know I’ll go ahead and throw out their naming given the name that is the same as your last name is fair game Oh Langford Langford oh that’s not bad yeah that’s good so I think my advice is always first of all consider your last name being their first name could get repetitive but in good way Neal Neal that would have been cool Neal Neal yeah like there’s a Neal yeah nothing like a sportscaster okay so if you you’re so obvious like yes option one there’s a Neil Neil Neil McNeil oh we knew it I was like a Neal Neal okay option one is go with your last name if you don’t want to do that you kind of make a decision to choose either common or unique names and this is a big decision I feel like this is the best thing to do is to say I’m not gonna do a a man named John Amanda I’m not going to do a unique name now if you do a common name then it’s just a blank slate the kid has nothing to live up to they’re the ones that make the impression but if you do a unique name then it’s immediately polarizing then people either don’t like the name or they do like the name or like what’s your name but to me we’ve gone with all the five kids that we’ve that we’ve made I’ve got two links got three in general we’ve done pretty unique name well I think in good mythical more we can talk more about why we do our kids uh the names that we did but you have to make a decision am I going unique or common and if you want to go with a family name you’re still factoring that into is it unique or common so you just you just have to go with that but without getting into too much detail uh Megan we’ve done this for you we’ve named your child and here’s how we did it okay first of all she’s got three first names so it seems like you could give one up to your child and you would still have a first amid Elana last name I’m just saying but I think we listen you know you can take it or leave it but here’s what we’ve done okay your last name Lankford is an English origin word which means long Ford okay a Ford is a truck but it is also a shallow place to cross a river this is a very wide shallow river the best way best way to cross a shallow river is on a fan boat and a fan boat is in Louisiana so you should name your daughter Louise because Louise Langford is Louise is like a cool retro name that’s about to be awesome you could be one of the first people to be called Louise and Louise means famous warrior so that your dog like beauty not her is she’s going to be famous for fighting for something she’s going to be called Louise Langford you could call Louisiana Langford and call it Louise for short either way it’s a win-win situation and there you go we did it for you thank you more about if you want it to be more interesting you can color Xena or you can spell Louise with like an E and a W I like it when there’s a meaning with your first and last name together that’s really what I’m saying we figured it out now it’s time for red hair to go up in the next act stop in seconds challenge I think we all know how much you hate olives on pizza so in this challenge you’ve got to take 13 a baker’s dozen olives black olives off of that pizza in the time that it takes of styling my hair but here’s a side note you got to use your feet not your hands I’m ready that’s why I have my foot exposed okay good I guess I don’t like looking at it here we go styling begins in three two one go one I can’t get anything else in there right yeah only olives you can’t put a sausage in there you can’t maybe a little bit of cheese if a little bit of cheese goes you know it’s hard it’s hard to blame you for that great for then we’re going to eat this pizza later it’s going to do Wow wasn’t very good I’m gonna take a little bit more time I’m sure that’s pi and I’m gonna say I’m done oh how you doing over there it’s not as tasty as it looks no I’m not eating that are you getting – no this is for you you like olives right there still olives on there it’s not
