1948 40 every day in the month of January I thought I got to take advantage of this and got a wish Hawkman a happy birthday why because Hawkman as I have established on good mythical morning before is the best superhero of all time much maligned for reasons I don’t understand he’s been resurrected many different times in many different series he always gets canceled I don’t understand it because he’s mind-blowingly awesome so that is why we’re getting sent from fans like Jen Brown these comic books I will say that there is a grand finale to the end of this video who you can’t wait for it hold on to your wings and your intha metal okay here’s the deal not only do I think Hawkman is the best superhero ever I believe strongly that a Hawkman movie could be the best superhero movie of all time and that’s what I’m here to do today have you seen the Batman movies uh yeah and they’re very good the very good great may I may even be an appropriate way to describe the Batman movies okay especially the last two but I am telling you that people don’t see all the potential and that’s what I’m here for I’m the messenger and you know don’t shoot Hawkman shoot me if you don’t know really into a movie and they began talking about it even to the point of having a log line for the movie part Indiana Jones Da Vinci Code part ghost tentpole in kind of Hollywood speak about the fictional superhero that appears in DC comic books he used archaic weaponry and large artificial wings attached to a harness made of the if metal that allows flight most incarnations of Hawkman worked closely with a partner slash romantic interest named Hawker or Hawk woman in his fight against supervillains based on the DC comic and I bet she’d be really hot and yeah she would this production unfortunately to my dismay and disappointment never happened but you know what I believe in you DC Comics Warner Brothers pictures I believe that we can make this happen and let me make the case these are a few did they already week the tears are a few things that are true about the Hawkman story he’s been uh he’s had so many different iterations I think that we can just is fair game we’re going to pull from multiple iterations I’m not sticking to one iteration of Hawkman okay got them all right here first of all on the Carter Hall iteration of Hawkman hukman is a reincarnated prince prince khufu from ancient Egypt and Prince Khufu and his bride were killed by half set bless you an Egyptian priest so you’ve got some royal murder / intrigue stuff ie Game of Thrones ever heard of that super successful hello so it’s kind of like Game of Thrones secondly he carries a mace I thought it was like Indiana Jones and ghost this is better than that okay he carries a mace ever heard of gladiator yes super successful movie you see where I’m going with this I didn’t have a me he’s got there was it took place in the in the medieval you know the Mogan I’m with you it’s fine he’s got in metal now this intha metal stuff it came on an alien ship that crashed onto earth okay opening scene ever heard of this happening in a movie before alien ship crashing on earth how about the man who fell to earth 1976 David Bowie first feature film starring David Bowie now how about that that was a box-office buster you ever heard of that one are you making that up no but it’s a well-respected movie we can’t just go all blunders labyrinth and those pants he was wearing no no this was this this was this was different the man who fell to earth now also his intha metal is controlled mentally and can defy gravity a few movies that I can think of where gravity is very important or actually the absence of gravity gravity gravity I was with you on that super huge and hello Apollo 13 think about that you got people floating around with the in so desperate yeah I’m going deep now listen now one of the super villains that Hawkman fought in 1945 was fussy Dan Nash boy he was fussy uh he was a mass criminal that had a chimpanzee Butler now you may remember a little successful 1978 film starring Clint Eastwood call every which way but loose yes I do yes it featured made a hundred million dollars of the box-office featured in orangutan so I mean chimpanzee orangutan when you get a superstar to interact with a primate on camera another primate the money starts rolling in hello orangutan orangutan I’d say orangutan because I watched the Discovery Channel and occasionally animals don’t just stop with the chimpanzee we’re going to have a chimpanzee in the movie the big big big big stuff but Hawkman has the ability to control flocks of birds to communicate and control flocks of birds have some problems people do have the Jeff Daniels classic movie from 1996 fly away home remember that one where they took the birds across the United States it’s a feel-good bird move I just never seen it I’m sorry not to mention Hawkgirl slash Hawk woman whether she’s younger older or whatever time it is in the politically correct age I will call her Hawk woman and the thing about hot woman is this is his reincarnated wife that he keeps reencountering and he has to every time he meets her he has to convince her that they are reincarnated and they should be together ever heard of a little film called 50 first dates where Adam Sandler had to convince drew Barrymore who he was every single day right so there’s a rom-com element then we played a woman No and finally he is an archaeologist I know of a successful movie franchise starring an archaeologist slash superhero slash Indiana Jones yeah we’re all over that one right I mean the Warner Brothers already understands that connection they also mentioned DaVinci Code and goes throw it in there I don’t care I think I’ve made the case and I did a little math based on my calculations this movie has the chance of grossing over 3.5 billion dollars at the box office and I know money talks you did that you did the math I added up all the gross box office earnings of all the movies that I made you did addition 3.5 billion dollars how can you say no to this because that is how it works hmm okay that’s I’ve made my case Wow and okay listen obviously Rhett is very excited about this I don’t want to patronize here I am willing to to go in on this and we have decided to put the full creative force of rhettandlink behind this endeavor people yes well ladies and gentlemen we have decided to film the movie dot dot teaser trailer yes okay so uh you know you got to have a teaser trailer that comes out that gets everybody excited yeah we’d plan we we’re not only going to do that we’ve already done it ladies and gentlemen the world premiere of the Hawkman teaser movie trailer when birds which were flying in the sky started to crash to the pavement business to our desperate cries for help some here suspect something sinister who is willing to confront the darkness we save us hawkman so it’s pretty clear the movie
