few things in life are more frustrating than television series season finale cliffhangers let’s talk about that good mythical morning happy birthday America and thank you wherever you are for making us a part of your daily routine through all 1 2 3 4 5 seasons of this show welcome to the last episode of season 5 oK we’ve already established this but we’re going to take a week break and we’re going to be back for season 6 on Monday July 14th so don’t worry we won’t be gone long but we thought it’d be appropriate seeing that this is the season finale of good mythical morning to celebrate some of the best season finale cliffhangers in TV history now the idea here is that this is how people get you to come back they leave you thinking about this TV show all summer long we just want you to think about Artie our show it’s not even a TV show it’s an Internet show we only want you to think about it for a a week and don’t say it’s not even a TV show I’m very proud this is not a television show this is an Internet technically it’s in everything show you can’t watch it on your television though if you figure that out okay so what we’re going to do is we’re going to talk about the best season I always always want to say series finales and that’s not what we’re talking about we’re talking about just season finesse season cliffhangers okay and I haven’t seen all of these but these are the best but golden mytha I know about this later okay all of these and I’m very familiar with all of them and I know you can tell us in the comments if you think we missed one but I’m gonna start out with Firenze it’s two syllables fuh and rends it was a great show season four the one with Ross’s wedding that’s actually what the episode was called Ross is marrying a girl named Emily but everybody on earth wants Ross to be with Rachel Aniston Rachel her name is Rachel on the show that’s that a good if you had a haircut that’s what America that’s key for the clip that we’re gonna watch her name is Rachel not Emily Emily Emily is the girl that he’s going to marry what’s the girl’s name that he’s been with Rachel the girl who everybody wants him to be with is named Rachel and what’s his name Ross let’s watch the clip family or gather to celebrate here today the joyous union of Ross and Emma D and the Ross cookie Delta V I Ross zoom in on Rachel hi Ross take the Emily take the Rachel shall I get well fade to black Rachel’s lips slowly part is she going to say something do you feel sorry for Emily what is the future of friends you can rent it all on DVD is pretty easy to find out yes you probably already know okay next up we’ve got the Simpsons the show everyone has seen links in a couple of episodes and at the end of season six mr. burns the jerk that everybody loves to hate has put a shade over the Sun causing everybody to have to use street lights and pay him for the electricity of God right so he’s an enemy of everyone and then we find him walking late at night next to the town hall where is everybody mr. burns has been shot I don’t think well I don’t know who did this only one in towns a suspect well I couldn’t possibly solve this mystery can you well that’s not nearly as dramatic as the season 3 finale of Star Trek The Next Generation we’ve got this species of light robot hybrid weird aliens called the Borg and they are going around taking over everybody ship and they have kidnapped Captain Picard and now the next in command Riker has to deal with it sir we’re being hailed by the Borg get that beard on screen on skype I am Locutus of Borg resistance is futile will weed in your life as it has been is over I have a laser for this time forward you will service us mr. Worf he’s gonna kill the Captain Picard will wins gonna be playing board games all summer while we wait for the next season I am Locutus and just a clarifier a Borg yes sir you know I am a bore that’s the name of the species I know but just to clarify I’m a Borg so when you do decide to kill me a minute later it’s it’s totally justified I thought that happens it seems oh yeah well you got to watch the next season to know that well I know what happens it’s not even worth telling you that’s the sad thing about it is that it was kind of like within five minutes of the next episode it’s just kind of I don’t want to spoil it for anybody but Melrose Place is what I’m going to talk about kids all right early 90s takes place in an apartment building called Melrose Place in West Hollywood Los Angeles I’ve been searching for this actual place for the whole three years I’ve been here because I’m such a huge fan so Kimberly is this doctor who’s also a certified crazy person it’s kind of ironic somehow she gets a bomb and decides that blowing up Melrose Place is the answer to all of her vengeful desires why not ah Amanda ruined her life so what else can you do well blow it all up the apartment complex well let’s watch it sounds like fun it’s not what it looks like Kimber it’s worse oh no she got a button wait like like the bomb is operated with a big red button where’d you get that bomb it’s not what it looks like it’s worse alright another show that had a season finale that involved an explosion is lost lost is like one cliffhanger after another but there was a really big one between season 5 and season 6 and this is when daniel has told Jack about this energy source on the island which is the reason that the plane went down in the first place if you haven’t seen lost this means nothing to you but he decides that hey if we blow up this energy source with a hydrogen bomb which we have for some reason then maybe the energy source will go away and the plane will never crash and will never come to this island that’s what’s going on here and so we find Juliet at the bottom of the pit with a bunch of stuff on top of her trying to explode the hydrogen bomb she’s a pretty bad shape and there it is keep my great television remote she’s a smoker is that like a luxury yes has a large peak piece of diggie’s hit she’s picking it up right now to try to it’s just a rock dude you know how nuclear bombs work you just hit him with a rock enough times and eventually they’ll explode right you know this scene is really put things in perspective for me and something I want to tell you since we’ve been a duo since way back in first grade I just don’t tell you this enough but I want to take this opportunity to say that you’re my best friend Rachael you just call me Rachel oh I’ve been shot oh no link and who did this to my best friend everyone on the crew is a suspect late no listen I can’t lose you don’t go to the light don’t go to the light ah avenge me no no Oh No I’ve lost my best friend and more importantly the co-host to this show this shows nothing without him there’s only one thing left to do I’ve got to bring him back to life as a Borg oh I’m tinkering got a tinker with him he sees you light up there we go I am blink Anita our Borg I have come to take over good mythical morning vengeance is mine resistance is futile I created a monster there’s only one thing left to do you know what time it is hi my name is Valentine I’m from QT great and it’s time no no no what I meant was I’ve got to blow up the studio to save us all no let’s just send me episode like we always do by spinning a wheel ok resistance yeah I guess I will blow up the studio when they’d let me blow up the studio Oh
