that we did didn’t you clear the nuclear yeah that was good so is it too late to get any of this stuff on the album because I know you’re like is it it’s fully baked yeah no I mean Kanye in the digital age he still he edits his album after it’s up he’ll take a song change it in change it out you guys could do that I don’t say but right yeah and we’re we’re really looking forward to putting out these songs on there in their own EP yeah all right so that that way they aren’t we wouldn’t want it we know that you wouldn’t want one more light to be disappointing when people pick up that these songs because I know these songs are better you know II mean so so it’s like you know it’s like you get you’re like thinking that’s on the new Lincoln Park record and you’re looking for the Chito song and oh my gosh you know this is so funny much you’re making an argument to put it on there you’ve gotten to the 19th album comes out the 19th so you got a few days did you know it it’s weird let’s scrap the record and just release this do you guys know that we had a fan club record no called and we had a fan club record called mmm cookies really today yeah five songs of like basically this type of a thing where it was um there was one song I did about laundry we didn’t like laundry there’s song about laundry there’s a fan club gobbles bubble how did bubbles go bubble bubble it was like I liked it a Bob Dylan Bob Dylan yeah yeah it’s I mean yeah like things like Bob my friends you know yeah we had a we as a lot this could be a lot more real than it seems like we thought it would be right yeah oh we’re gonna have to sign paperwork or something we have what we have a fan club week it’s called the LP underground and for fan club members usually they get like things like unfinished demos that were from the album but didn’t so there that’s our expectation is they’re gonna get this stuff that’s basically like very Linkin Park ish music and then one year we had just made these songs it’s like BAM it was called mmm cookies sweet something like hipster tweets like from the sweets of America or something like you know what fans have actually been asking for mmm cookies – okay so maybe that’s what we just did today we everything but cookies we didn’t think about cookies and cookies okay they were called we called the tracks cookies like little yummy little yummy nibbles can we put the cookies artwork on the screen can you show the guys what the cookies let’s look up Lincoln Park mmm mmm cookies three amps I think that you know cookies – yeah that’s what it looked like yeah I mean six songs that’s an EP yeah you that me this is basically what we can cookie sweet hamster like jewels from America hamster like jewels we had just been to Japan hamster jewels yeah we’ve known the show on the show yeah how are they no we ain’t Guinea detestable oh yeah there’s a song called you ain’t gots to gotsta that’s basically like you know when you’re in a situation where someone’s like dude I told you so and you’re like you ain’t got the guts to me that’s kind of that thing you know – you know I know that you’re gonna tell me that you’re gonna tell me so right you mean costigan bubbles laundry – blues I love the fact that like you’ve got a new album yet this is what we’re promoting really hard yeah you guys I wrote I wrote a song for my kids because I would just kind of I’m not a very good guitar player or musician so I just kind of play a few chords and I’m like there’s one guy called peanut butter peanut butter and jellyfish mmm yeah that would that’s that’s the the crown I think the crown hamster jewel that’s how it all started that’s how it all started I like the peanut butter part of that but not the jellyfish part you’re not supposed to eat jellyfish it’s actually on our on our eating the kids eat something they’re not supposed to eat exactly exactly that’s the funny part yeah oh yeah last song is called this is what the ER looks like and then the final song is don’t pee on that you don’t mean kids so after you know it’s a myth that’s a myth everybody thinks that but I’ve peed on a lot of a lot of arms and lots of legs I just do that for fun daily nothing happens and after people get stung by jellyfish how have you been in situations where a lot of times people have gotten stung by jellyfish is hanging out on the boys on the beach I always stay hydrated and I have a good angle on lots of people’s what any parts what did they do they keep getting stung by jellyfish I just you know just not watching out I don’t think they’re actually getting stung it’s just open to his interpretation given Los Angeles Beach there’s someone being stung by Jill or just people having fun like usually don’t ask that makes a lot of sense questions later your YouTube channel is really cool I love what you guys to be doing I’ll tell you guys to obviously get both albums but also check out Cuddy YouTube channel to think about the behind the scenes is that you start to you can you can see means physically nothing physically you can’t see physically I meant to say specifically certain decisions you guys made in the album which I thought was really cool like I guess you’re rolling cameras the whole time we all like you’re capturing key moments in like we’ve been we’ve been doing we’ve been shooting this kind of video since the beginning of the band when it was like you basically there wasn’t YouTube yes so for us it’s basically you know our YouTube channels Linkin Park TV and besides all obviously all like our music videos and lyrica days and stuff like that we’ve got you hind the scenes of us making the songs which in this case all the songs I’m one more light we would walk in and we’d say what’s on our mind like we weed on other albums the music inspired the lyrics on this album the lyrics were first and when I was actually really different for us you might walk in the debt door that day and say I want to write a song about my kids I might want a song write a song about this thing that’s going on with me and my friend cup noodles cup noodles could be the song right and Obi and all of those little moments like as they were happening you know like you said like that stuff was caught on camera and is you know on Lincoln Park TV TV and you were releasing some of those before like the singles came out but I thought it was cool like listening to the song and then going back and figure out what the parts that I appreciated and then seeing how you made a decision that went into it like oh let’s put a let’s have a female guest vocal on this thing and just like just a whim of an idea hmm yeah I think that’s cool you know it’s you know as artists ourselves it’s very serious guys you know I love being able to capture the moments when you made a decision yeah yeah those are really really interesting things because a lot of like obviously you guys are you guys know um when you’re coming up with a skit or you’re like thinking of an idea like what are we gonna do or thinking of something funny a lot it’s not very premeditated really it’s just kind of like yeah let’s do this and then you kind of just go out and do it and so it’s kind of that way for us in the studio when we write music you know we’re just in there talking we’re in there you know having a discussion about it you know and we kind of get deep because we want to write songs that are kind of you know serious and and all of a sudden like someone will say a phrase or or just touch on a emotional aspect of what we’re talking about in a specific way and it’s like that all of a sudden you know kick-starts an entire song and you can put it on YouTube and then you can’t lie and say it was my idea when it was their most important you probably should be interested in it because let’s be honest I try to take credit in conversation for stuff that I come up with all the time right I think that was a shock we should start documenting it that was the Chappell skit at one point like it like the backpack like minista Nagi I’m in Eastern Agra for he’d be like oh I said there’s no you said I so there’s no and then the stenographer would pop out of the backpack and read back the transcript we all say he was into credit – well check it out guys check out the YouTube channel and guys thanks for being here
