by hannah KFC is good too though I mean yeah I’m not gonna argue Baudette yeah but the way she makes it she like has a special batter that she rolls it in had her potato salad that’s a good point bring the potatoes y’all mayonnaise-based who was that happy birthday Rhett how you feeling well you feel like you’re ready to watch me get a massage and you know what as a birthday gift to you amongst the many other gifts that I’m gonna shower on you over the rest of the day oh gosh that’s scary I’m good I’d like for you to have my massage oh I’m hungry I don’t know if you heard that but his stomach was like 40 hand massage she were gone what we gonna bring 20 people in here to give me a massage nope for budgetary concerns we’ve got a Brooke come on in guys let’s just show her that learning goes oh okay five ten well there’s a 20 hand five there’s 20 ends 35 40 45 50 Oh there’s 30 hands hands yeah yeah I was gonna I was gonna come up with the total and in 45 is that’s how I teach my kids math I’m like what’s 40 times 5 what’s your like where’s your hands man now while you’re putting on your hands I will say oh come on David book of mythicality available everywhere books are sold you can also just go to book of mythicality calm order audible version is also out if you want to listen to it totally distinct experiences between the physical book and the audible book there’s there’s a song that we wrote in the book but of course we sing it on the audio version amongst other things but in the spirit of fall punch that one down in the first chapter of the book we talk about that first time that we ever met and then the first and sort of what we connected over the first time that we made each other to laugh we actually talked about some of our first creative exploits which incidentally one of them was writing a rap for the Fall Festival and the thing is which creedal a memory school Fall Fest thats your handwriting that’s your from a notebook that was yours and I wrote in the corner how to beatbox to it but the thing is I’m the one who kept it all these years you know I think that’s an interesting thing about our friendship is that I was like the archivist for our friendship which then I don’t know why I was keeping all this stuff I just felt like it was special and then we were able to put it in a book so I’m glad let’s you can go a massage I’m gonna point a couple of things out about your you have box and beat and you’ve indicated those with these little notes I came up with a language and you Spock seem like you spelled beat like the like the vegetable be e e T and then right at the beginning you have box beat box beat beat beat box beat beat box and that’s all I and then you didn’t I know and you it down I know what I was doing at that point all right you ready for your massage yeah I wanted it to begin now this was a it was a remake of doesn’t feel everyone else felt pretty good while you were doing didn’t oh girl I’m really good at getting a massage yeah I’m sure you remember the song opening OPP by Nadi was Naughty by Nature that was the year it had just come out so it was like 1990 in 1990-91 your book notes to each other picture I drew if link in first grade is in there anyway how does this feel brother it feels good but I’m just enjoying it and so talking about our book at the same time so we rewrote the lyrics to chase is good chase is a gift link is like make us like a five-year-old I’m not comfortably psycho saj it’s like forced child labor do you like exactly but chase is good do you like it miss um sure go for it feels hard to feel when your knots are with a bunch of fake hands up see Jen’s with me she realizes how awkward this is alright it’s like this is weird I started petting is awkward so I just have to come here right you commit you commit I could wash ah yeah it’s a good read anyway you can play the karaoke version of OPP and wrap this and I’m sure you realize how masterful these lyrics work can you give us an excerpt Oh like just of course I can hey Mike Dave boy give us a dick clear I’d like to have your attention for just a little minute so I can bust a rhyme and tell you what’s in it now so it starts of course if you get the audiobook we do wrap the whole thing we do but we wrap it in like an audiobook Reedy kind of way that we thought was funny but you be the judge Halloween is a spooky time but to tell you the truth that’s why I wrote this rhyme for you to listen to and if you don’t mind I’d like you to do something a little bit crazy come on party people that don’t be lazy and then I gave some instructions for the crowd but I’m not gonna reveal him but let me tell ya every student at Buies Creek elementary school did not do what we asked them I mean they did not do what we asked them to do but it was a it was a formative moment the first ever globular form of public musical performance mm-hmm by the duo known from that moment forward is rhett and Link that’s when we named ourselves rhett and Link yeah Ben was there as well though he was playing the drum machine remember that because when I decided that I bought a drum if the beatboxing would probably even though he tried to follow your beatbox indications he told me set back there and he didn’t play a beat he played he like hit beats with this like a drum to church to church it was amazing oh yeah oh yeah well you start my sizing yourself right there what a birthday gift that is thanks for sticking around for good mythical more if you want to watch more well we don’t have good
