(rooster crowing) (lion roaring) (metal door slamming) (wheel riffling) – Welcome to Good Mythical More. – Check Your Voicemail. (velcro ripping) We’ve got a voicemail. Let’s check it. (imitating monster growl) – [Caller] Hello, this is the darkness. Is Rhett or Link there? Please call me back at (bleep). The darkness is waiting for both of you. (imitates roaring) (chuckles) – This is the darkness? – Was that you calling? (laughing) – No. This isn’t the darkness. – It sounds like something that you would do. Hey, I want to make a phone call to Peter Dinklage and I want to be the darkness. (chuckles) – Peter Dinklage, your neighbor. – My neighbor, not the Peter Dinklage. – Um, okay so this is the sugarless, (crinkling plastic cup) can’t get it out. – You know what? I lost, I’ll be the one. – Oh yeah, take the plunge. – You don’t have to touch my ice. – So flavorless, sugarless snocone is just. – Ice. – An ice ball. You didn’t even like biting this. It’s not much of a. – But you know what? I mean, it’s awful generous for me to give you 10 points on the last one. For that, you should take a bite of ice ’cause I know how much you like it. Just a bite. – Listen, man. – Just stick your front teeth in. – No, it’s very clear that we both lost. – Just a. – We both lost. – Just a teeny little ice bite, just a teeny little ice bite for the people. (ice crunching) Oh ho! – Enh enh! I have sensitive teeth, man. – We’re gonna look at four different sugary items and then we’ve got these sugar amounts in front of us, 58 grams, 75 grams, 96 grams, and 133 grams, and we have to match these items with the amount of sugar. First of all, it’s mindblowing. – Even that’s a lot of sugar. – Even that much sugar is something you could consume in a sitting. – All right, so give us the first item. Okay, so we have a Slurpee. This is a normal 7-11 Slurpee cola situation. Give it a little. Oh, well why am I drinking that? (crew laughing) It still tastes horrible. – Oh, yeah, again it tastes like they forgot to turn the machine on. – Yeah, it’s like, I taste more cola in that because it’s wearing off but. – There’s a lot of ice. – There’s still sweetness. – There’s a lot of ice in this, and so just based on, at this point I think you should. – I think this is probably the lowest. – This is gonna be the lowest. – Well, I don’t know. – Surely, right? – There’s at least a can, that’s 16 ounces of Coke. – I don’t think it’s that much Coke, because of the frozen nature of it. I think there’s a lot of ice in there. – Okay, next. – A Cinnabon. Oh, yeah. This is, so this is, I kinda want to taste this and see what it tastes like. – A Cinnabon has a lot of fat in it as well as sugar. – Is this an actual Cinnabon or is this from, like, Ralph’s? This is the real deal? – [Crew Member] Yeah. – So this still tastes good because you get the fatty. (snickers) – It does not taste great. – Taste that you typically get. – Um, I do not. – A lot of the calories are coming from fat though. – I do not think this tastes good. – I kinda like it. – Which makes me think there’s a lot of sugar in it. There’s a lot of sugar in that icing that’s throughout the whole thing, but let’s just say it’s more than the Slurpee. – I don’t know. – Man, I mean the lozenge and the tea combination. – This is pretty close. – Really does, I man, I don’t want to take another bite of that. Well, could you desire to eat that in your current condition? – Yes. (crew laughing) – Well, your current condition is just desiring to eat. – Bingo. – Look at this. Okay, Cheesecake Factory. – That’s some cheesecake. Again, it’s a, there’s a lot of fat in that item, but there’s a lot of sugar as well. There’s a whole cookie just stuck to the side of it. – Yeah, look at that. – And then there’s just cookies inside. I tell you, when I look at it, I want to eat it. It hasn’t changed my desire to want to eat things by looking at them. – This is the best one, but again it’s like, it really tastes like you’re eating a diet cheesecake. I don’t desire a diet cheesecake, but I’m also feeling like, this has more sugar than that has more sugar than that. – Sorry, I just. I don’t know whose fault that was, but. – That’s fine. Got a little Mythical sleeve action. Got a little something on my Mythical sleeve. – You got cheesecake on your Mythical sleeve. Do not look at the ingredients on the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream that is about to come in because. – ‘Cause it’s on there. – Because it’ll just tell you how much sugar’s in it. – Okay, well, I wouldn’t do such a thing. All right. – That’s the whole thing. – Peanut Butter cup, Ben & Jerry, Ben & Jerry. Ooh, nice and melty. – They left it out. – This is, I do this on purpose, y’all. – They let it out. Oh, I gotta get one of them peanut butter cups, there we go. – Now, I’m only gonna take one bite. I’m not gonna double dip this, so we can save it for later. – My tea is, my gurmar is wearing off, then. I’m just regular ol’ Rhett now. – This is the best thing because we can taste the peanut butter. – Okay. – And that is a big peanut butter cup, too. It’s like, a lot oF those things have little peanut butter cups. This thing’s got a big ol’ peanut butter cup. – That might be the best flavor of Ben & Jerry’s right there. Which has the most sugar? I am tempted to put the cheesecake at the top, but that’s a whole thing of ice cream. That’s a whole pint of ice cream. – It is for the whole pint? (spoon tapping) Yeah, I feel good about this, but this. – Those are probably mean the things you just might need to switch. – Would they give it to us in the order that we would put them out? I mean, I don’t think they would do that. – Hmm, they might. – They wouldn’tt go from least to most sugar. – I think, you may think this is crazy, but this is striking me as the right thing. – You know what, I was thinking the same thing, and then for here. – And switch those. – Yeah, I’m thinking this right here. – Are we right? – We’re gonna pull some energy from you, Mythical Beast, watching, (imitates wind) – [Stevie] You. – You want us to change any answers? Oh, you agree with us, okay. – No changing. – [Stevie] You got everything correct. – Hey hey hey! We did it! – Woo! (scattered applauding) I mean, look at that. Look at that. – 133, yeah put sugar on top of it. (crew laughing) Don’t you, like, I don’t know if y’all did this growing up, but we would have like a bowl of strawberries and then we would put sugar on top of the strawberries. Why did we all do that? If you’re currently putting sugar on top of fruit, just think about stopping. (scattered laughing) – Just go to Cheesecake Factory, I think. (laughing) – Put the sugar down and go to Cheesecake Factory. – My aunt Vicky, she puts salt on a grapefruit, but that’s different. Some people have said they did that, but show of hands. Anybody here? Davin, you put salt on a grapefruit? On a watermelon? I didn’t say watermelon. – Hold on. – She doesn’t do that. – Do you know, how sure are you that it was salt, because people in my family put sugar on theirs. – We’ve had this conversation before, and at this point I would say, I’m sure. – So, has anybody put sugar on a grapefruit? Because that is a thing to do. – You were in the conversation before. – Well, no. You put sugar on a grapefruit because it’s sweet but it’s so sour and it takes the edge off. In fact, didn’t we eat? – I’ll have to call her. – We ate grapefruit when we took that pill that took the sour taste out, and it made it taste like some delectable fruit which is the same thing that happens when you put sugar on it. – I wonder if there’s a way to subvert the use of these in another way. – You mean, like as a suppository? – No, like if you use this pill, it doesn’t affect anything else but sugar. IS there nothing else we could do with it? – Like what? (burps) – Excuse me. I don’t know, just trying to be creative. – Trying to think outside the box, I appreciate it. – Outside of this box. – But you didn’t get very far. (laughs) – Yeah, ’cause all it does it take away sugar. Stops sugar cravings. – Yeah, okay. So I’ll take this. Which one do you wanna win? – Eh, that one. – You wanted this one too? – Yeah, that’s the best thing on the table. We can split it, half pint each. (upbeat music) – Are they both dead or is it just one of the Siskel & Ebert that are dead? (laughing) Creativity through curioity since 1984.
