You know what I’m saying, they came in a– – O’Boisies? – No, no, no, no. They were called, I know you know this ’cause we would go to the parties and somebody would be like, “I’ve got ’em, they’re Krunchers.” Wha… (fingers snap) What are they, they were, before Kettle chips (fingers snap) and they were even crunchier than super crunchy chips. Somebody look this up, I’m going to go crazy – What’s the crunchiest chip from the 90’s? – Was it called, like Krunchers? – [Woman] Kruncher’s with a K? – Yes, Kruncher’s (claps) with (claps) a K, You remember those! – I remember that! – Are they gone now? – [Woman] No, it looks like they exist. – They were unbelievably crunchy. Way crunchier than any of this. – Can you pull it up on the screen there? – What I was getting at is that sometimes people make a chip, and the whole purpose of the chip is just to have a crazy crunch. We’re just gonna see which ones of these normal chips have crazy crunches. – Well, the most satisfying crunch. – Or the best crunch, so– Oh, jalapeno was the best flavor. – Oh yeah. – Jalapeno Krunchers, my momma brought them home one day. – Oh yeah. Do you know what this is? This was a kettle cooked chip, before people knew what kettle cooked was. – Yes, too early, before its time. – Yes, it was before its time, you’re right. – Jalapeno is also an edgy fruit. (laughing) – Now I got you a– – [Both] A foldie. – Because I think that that’s gonna give us the best crunch. – Well it’s a double crunch. It’s a little unfair. ‘Cause it’s not exactly a representative of an entire bag. (bag crinkles) – I can’t even find another foldie. (laughing) – I did not realize until like two weeks ago that Pringles were formed chips from chip scraps. – You thought it was a big, long potato that had been sliced perfectly? – I had never thought about it and I just without thinking about it just thought that it was a certain way that the potato was cut that gave it that surface. – And you thought it was normal that they were all that exactly the same? – I didn’t think about it that much. – Well, I mean, you know what? Maybe most people don’t know. I mean who thought they were just– – I’m asking you, man. – Who thought they were straight up potatoes? Look I mean, a good number of people. – [Woman] Basically only Davin. (man laughing) – Nah, Kristen and– – I always imagined a chip, a thin chip paste like going into a mold. – Yeah. – But that’s what makes me like it. – [Woman] Pringles always remind me of someone that takes a potato chip, chews it up, spits it out, and then dries it out. – Into a form. I just never thought about it. And now that I have realized that, I don’t eat ’em anymore. I’m not gonna eat ’em right now. – Lemme just give a couple of votes, and reasons for Pringles, okay? – They taste like – First of all, – they’ve been chewed up too. – If you ignore what we just said, a single chip has a lot of crunch, as I just demonstrated a second ago. But because of the uniformity which you do not get with a typical chip, you can easily double, triple, quadruple to your heart’s content, which adds triple crunch as in this case. (chip crunches) – A lot of mess too. See but I can hear the particles. It’s like chewing sand. (people laughing) – But you liked them before you knew that. – I know, but– – What if I could convince you it was just one really long cylindrical potato? (laughing) – Choppy, choppy, choppy, choppy, choppy? – A GMO potato. – No, man, and I think it disintegrates in your mouth. You get the one chip. You had five of ’em, and it still, in that second bite, it was nothing but just like– – I like them. I like the crunchiness, because you’re so in control of it. – I think these, (bag crinkles) these Ruffles, (bag crinkles) Ooh, this is tough. Now you can get a foldie on a Ruffle too. Here’s a foldie. Here’s a, all right, see listen up. (chip crunches) – Oh, it has a deeper sound. Did you hear how much deeper that was? It was like biting into a Lays and then putting it in slow motion. – That’s ’cause I opened up my throat. – Listen. (chip crunches) That’s two or three times as deep of a sound. – Is it deeper? – Oh, by the Lays, Lays just makes harmony with the Ruffles. Listen. – Let’s go harmonize? – Chip harmony. That sounds like the type of chip that you’d wanna download and put in your iMovie. – Do you know that every sound that contributed to Bobby McFerrin’s “Dont Worry Be Happy” was just him eating a chip? – Different chips. – Different crunch of a chip. A lot of people don’t know that. – I did know that. (chip crunches) – That joke would have killed in ’98. (people laughing) – Now listen to this. We’ve found the most satisfying crunch so far. This is what you were worried about. – Krunchers is way crunchier than this. – I want you to listen to– This is a, look at that. – That’s just like a four-leaf clover right there. This looks like a damn seashell.
