(rooster crowing) (growling) – What do I do? – Welcome to Good Mythical More. – Check your voicemail. We’ve got a voicemail, let’s check it. – [Woman] Hey guys, I was just wondering if you would rather be a pickle or a potato. – Well, I’ve seen enough Rick and Morty to know a pickle. Oh, you still talking? (laughing) Pickle Rick proved that. You wanna be a pickle. – I just think we have to talk about the fact that we just sucked on a pickle and a potato. – And we didn’t have to land on this, Ian. We did not plan what just happened. – That was fate, man. That’s what your presence has done. Now, which one would I rather be? Potato, of course, ’cause a potato got eyes. – It’s up to you, Ian. Do you side with me or with Rhett? Are we gonna be pickle boys, or are you gonna be tater buddies? (laughs) – Tater buddies is the new app from TGI Fridays. (laughing) – Potatoes. – Not a sponsor. – Potatoes are more versatile. – Yeah, yeah. – They’re heartier. – Right. – They feed more people. – Yeah. You ever heard of the pickle famine? No, I didn’t think so. – Never, never heard of the pickle famine. – But. – And they last long, they don’t last longer. (laughing) – They don’t last longer, unless you pickle them. (laughing) – Pickled potatoes. – I think I gotta go with a potato. – Yeah, yeah. – Oh. You were leading me to believe you were gonna go with pickle. – I know what I was doing. (laughing) – I’m very, very aware of what I was doing. – Yeah, yep, yep. – I went to acting classes, I know. – Well, you telegraphed it. – Why, what would you be? – Listen, a pickle. – Hey, guys, you wanna play a game? – Yeah, okay. So we’re gonna read off these cards. It’s a title and a description of either a show or a movie, right? – [Stevie] Yeah. – And it’s either an actual thing or not. – But we can’t see? – I’ll read it to us. – Yep. – If it’s real, we say, Dracu-YAH. If it’s not real, – Dracu-YAH. – we say, Dracu-NAH. – Rabid is a 1977 body-horror film. – Body-horror? – But yeah, they hyphenated the word body-horror. I didn’t know that was a genre. – 1977. – Body-horror film about a young woman named Rose who goes in for experimental plastic surgery– – Oh, body-horror. – But comes out with a taste for human blood that can only be attained via the phallic stinger she has suddenly grown under her armpit. – How’s it phallic? – Have you seen it? (laughs) The bad news is, all of Rose’s victims turn into blood thirsty zombies, leading into a city-wide epidemic. I’m not gonna read it again, what’s our answer? – I’m going with Dracu-YAH because– – Wait, we’re saying if this is a real movie or television show? – Yeah. I’m saying real because that’s just too complex. I mean, no offense, guys. (laughing) – I gotta say Dracu-YAH. – I believe in your lying ability. – I gotta do it. – Nope, nope. The phallic armpit thing’s a bit– – Body-horror? – It’s a little strange. – You think they’re making up body-horror back there? – We might’ve just bit off the biggest chunk of cheese. (laughs) – Yeah. – It is real. – Yeah! – Yes! – [Stevie] And it’s so real, a remake was released just this year. – Called what? – And it’s called Rabid? – By the same name? – [Stevie] I believe so. – Rabid, okay, – Ian, you do the honors. – I know what I’m doing tonight. Body-horror. (laughing) – Wait, I can’t read. – Okay, give it to Rhett. – No, no, I’ll try, I’ll try. (clears throat) Smoke and Mirrors, Currently on the CBC, is a hit among Canadian teens. – Okay. – When Jean Luke, the cutest boy in 7th grade, comes back from Camp Crescent, his girlfriend Dee notices that something’s not quite right. Jean Luke won’t come outside and he’s always avoiding those pesky mirrors. That’s because Camp Crescent is actually a secret Russian operation breeding half-human, half-vampire soldiers. Can Dee, I know, mind blowing, Can Dee find a way to get her boyfriend back and get her homework done in time? – So this is a series, but in Canada. – Right. – That’s where you lost me. – Right. (laughs) – I’m going with Dracu-NAH because Jean Luke, that was the giveaway, guys. You got too greedy. They got too greedy on that one. – Yeah, yeah. – But they speak French in Canada. – Yeah, I know. – Oh, okay. – But see, they’re thinking we’ll fall for that. – There’s nothing sensational about this, which is boring. – What, it takes place in Montreal, huh? Huh? – Nah, this is a nah for me, too. – I think I’m gonna go nah. – Okay. – [Stevie] This– But I think I could sell this show. – Oh, you can? Okay. – Is a nah. – Yes. – [Stevie] But if it was real, I would definitely ship Dee and Jean Luke into Dee-Jean. (laughs) – Ooh! – Yeah, you would, yeah, you would. – That was the reason why all of this was written. – Yep, yep. – So that Stevie could say that. (laughing) – Okay. – Rhett, why don’t you do the honors? – I will. If you can get it to me. Okay. (foreign language) AKA, Kiss in the Night, is a late 90s telenovela set in Mexico City. When a string of bodies with strange bite marks start popping up around town, detectives Hector Guerrero, Guerrero, and Maria Gutierrez – Guer-re-ro. – begin to suspect that a local dentist with sharp teeth and strange office hours may have something to do with it. But Guerrero – Guero. – Guero? – I think. – Guerrero, Guerrero, is that right. – [Matt] Guerrero. – Guerrero. – Yeah. – Go back to Hotdog on a Stick. (laughing) – He just helped you out. (laughs) Dang, man. – And Gutierrez soon bite off more than they can chew and are faced with perps that come straight from the underworld on a weekly basis. – Matt Carney used to work at Hot Dog on a Stick. He was helping Rhett out, and then Rhett exclaimed, go back to Hot Dog on a Stick. What kinda boss does that? – Me! – A good one. – That’s right. – No, that was awesome, he was helping us. (foreign language) – I’m gonna go with Dracu-YAH. I think that could be, I mean, telanovala’s are the biggest thing since sliced bread right now. – A vampire dentist makes so much sense to me. – Yeah, listen, I’m on team yah. – I’m switching up, I’m going nah. Vampire dentist, eh, cliche. – [Stevie] This is a nah. (groans) – Boom. – Really? You tied it up. – I tied it up. – Do you have a cool pun for this one? – Whoever came up with this I think, you had me. – Needs to work at Hot Dog on a Stick. – You had me. – In the film, Mr. Vampire, the people of Hong Kong must fend of vampires by holding their breath and brandishing handfuls of coagulated rice. But these aren’t your grandma’s vampires, these vampires know Martial arts and prefer to stalk their prey by hopping after them like demonic kangaroos. The film was so popular, it went on to have four sequels. You got people becoming – Yah, all the way. – vampire kangaroos. – Yeah. Yeah, you do. – It sounds so ridiculous, it actually might be true. – Oh, yeah, I could see this working. Mr. Vampire, with a name like that, who wouldn’t watch it? – I don’t know, guys. – Yeah, I’m feeling good about this. – I don’t know, guys. – Coagulated rice? – Yah, yah. – You had me there. – [Stevie] It is yah. – Yes! – Oh, yes, we agree. – [Stevie] It’s a horror comedy vampire film made in Hong Kong in 1985. – 1985. Four sequels, I hear. – Ian. – I thought it was the same guy that did Old Boy. That was a joke. – Okay, we’re all tied. – We’re tied, oh, my gosh. – I mean, how many of these do you wanna do? You wanna make this the one? – [Stevie] Sure, this can be the very one that determines it all. – Okay. – Nice. – Okay. – Okay. That means at least somebody has to disagree on this one. – Okay. – Send that to your wife. Tell her, I really did like Twilight. – I will, you were very sweet. Yeah, you were in it, you were describing. Yeah, and then I was like, did I say something bad about Twilight? – No, no, no. I think I said it was ridiculous. But it is, in a good way. – Yeah, Twilight, like Vampire Diaries, Vampire Diaries was because of Twilight. They were all ridiculous. It’s like, it was basically vampire teen soap operas. – I watched it earlier this year. – That just a couple hundred million people watched. – I watched it just a few weeks ago, like a few months ago. – You were in it, you were describing some, you were in it. – I was loving it. – He kept talking about for days. – In 2003 dramatic thriller, A Vampire’s Secret, Marian Northcut isn’t just a 300 year old vampire looking for blood, she’s also a 300 year old lonely lesbian looking for blood. When Marian decides to look for victims in a new part of the countryside, she meets and falls madly I love with a lesbian werewolf, which is a definite no-no in the vampire community. A Vampire’s Secret is a classic tale of star crossed lovers that you can really sink your teeth into. (laughing) – 2003. – You made it through it. You did it. – 2003. – ’03, I think I would’ve just– – Lesbian. – I would’ve remembered that. I gotta say nah, Dracu-NAH. – Why are you saying nah, you think it’s a little too early for– – ’03, man. I remember stuff from ’03. – Right. – That was the year before Lost came out. I was still pretty like, aware. – You had an open schedule then. – I had an open schedule. – Right, you would’ve seen that. This feels like something that– – Since then, not so much. – Some members of our crew probably wish was real. (laughing) – You talking about the lesbian vampires? – Yep. And werewolves. – I would watch that. – Yeah. – Totally watch that. – And it should be a thing, but it isn’t or wasn’t in 2003. I’m saying nah. But somebody’s gotta disagree ’cause they might win. – That would be me. (laughs) – Bring it on Lesbian Vampires. – [Stevie] Why you gotta step on my joke? (laughing) It’s nah, but I do wish it existed. – Yes! – Yeah, you do. Alright. – Well, it isn’t so much that we won, it’s that Link lost. (laughing) – Oh, wow. – you know what, you guys can suck it. And that’s a compliment. – Yep. – You know what? Second place, it’s the first loser. – That’s right. – [Link] You wanna wear it proud, you gotta wear it loud.
