GMMore 1683: Guess What We Just Smashed (GAME)

(cock-a-doodle-doo) (roaring) (slam) (roulette wheel spinning) – Whoa, look at that! – Welcome to Good Mythical More, ooh. – Trick wheel, huh. Landed on Gifticality, that means we’re donating $1000 to Action Against Hunger to aid in their efforts of treating and preventing malnutrition as well as a global goal to eradicate life threatening hunger within this lifetime. Please join us in giving at ActionAgainstHunger.org. – .org, thank you for being your mythical best. – I saw a tweet, a little tweet, somebody got mad because I stopped the wheel on Gifticality. (slight laughter) – Moving right along. – Just evaluate your life. – This sledge hammer which Lucas calls Percy? – [Lucas] Wendy. – Wendy? – [Lucas] Yeah. – Oh, Wendy. I just said keep it windy. – [Lucas] Really? – Did you hear me say that? – [Lucas] Oh, ’cause of Chicago. – Chicago, the windy city. – Yeah, is it windy like that? Like you create wind with it? – [Lucas] Yes. – That’s why you call it Wendy. – [Lucas] Yeah, you hit it and then a wind comes. – I’m gonna give this to Lucas, he’s gonna go over there in a place we can’t see but you can, he’s gonna smash some stuff and based on sound alone we’re gonna guess what he smashed. But first, I wanna see if there’s a rock in here. – You think that’s why you lost, ’cause there’s a rock in there? I think it’s just a hard cake. I feel bad watching Guy’s eyes bulge out like that. (cake being smashed) Oh, Guy! Sorry. – It’s so dense. Now, if you want to see the making of this Guy Fieri cake it’s on the Mythical Society as a behind the scenes video so go over there and check that out. You can meet a very new culinary team member. Hmm, very mysterious. There’s no rock. – Any rocks? That’s a moist cake. – Ain’t no rock in there. – Look how moist that cake is. – Man, that is a, I’m really tempted to eat it. – Why not? – I don’t know how long it’s been out. – Can we eat a moist cake? – [Kevin] Yeah. – Can we? Is it good? – Oh, it’s so moist. – I love a good fallen cake. Okay, you take that, you can crush stuff. – It’s obviously been in a ‘frigerator. – ‘Frigerator. – It’s been in a ‘frigerator ’cause it’s cold and moist. It’s a dense pound cake. – I love that word, moist. – It’s like a seven pound cake. That is good. – You know some people insist that it’s Fieri. – [Kevin] It is. – It is? – Kevin insists that. – Why do you insist that? – [Kevin] It’s pronounced Fieri. – Fieri? So when he introduces himself he says “I’m Guy Fieri?” – [Kevin] 100% of the time. – He doesn’t say Fi-er-i? – [Kevin] Nope, every single time. – But everyone else says Fi-er-i? – [Kevin] Yep. – Huh, he must be wrong. (laughs) (laughing) – Okay, Lucas why don’t you smash something? – Guy Fi-er-i. – [Lucas] Okay. (piggy bank shatters) – Good gosh that was loud. The speaker’s over here and the source is over here so I heard it in like a stereo effect. – And there was like a, there was like a little bell sound at the very end. – It was like porcelain smash, like if I didn’t know better I’d think he was smashing the toilet that did not smash during the episode, that’s my guess. – I think it was a clock of some kind. – [Male Voice Offscreen] That was a cellphone that went off. – Oh, that was a cellphone that went off? – Oh, somebody’s cellphone. – Oh, sorry! It wasn’t a clock then. It was a lamp. – You gonna bring it over? How do find, oh. – Oh, porcelain. – It was just a piggy bank? Of which we have a replica. We didn’t travel back in time. Hmm, so who was closer? – You said what? – I said toilet. – And I said lamp because of the ceramics. – But I said porcelain. – I say that’s a draw, man. – It’s a draw. – Because we both knew it was some sort of ceramic material. – It’s a draw. Okay, Lucas, you ready? – [Lucas] Sure. Okay. (object breaks slightly) – [Rhett] That was a peanut. – That was more of a muted– – That was like one nut. – Muted thud. – A nut of sorts. – There wasn’t– – Look at Guy Fieri’s nose. – There was a crumble. There was a thud and then a crumble. I think this is edible. – Look at that. When you go get to the plastic surgeon and they wanna show you what you’re gonna look like, now they do some sort of AR, sort of Augmented Reality thing, but back in the day, like in the 60s and 70s they’d just do this. They’d be like, look in the mirror, this is what you’re gonna look like. – They build a fondant nose? – A fondant nose, yeah. – I think it’s something edible. – Like a nut, or Guy Fieri’s nose. Oh man, – No, I think it’s a Play-Doh creation, which to me is edible. I don’t know why I’m thinking that. I can no longer remember what it sounded like. – What is it? – You don’t have a guess? – I said peanut, right? As soon as it happened. – Oh, I didn’t think you were serious. – I was right, I said edible. – And you said Play-Doh which is more pasta like, so. – You gonna give me this one? – I’ll give you that point, yeah. – We’ll eat this for lunch. – Unless there’s nuts in it. Are there nuts in this lasagna? – [Lucas] No. – No nuts. – I wouldn’t blink an eye if somebody told me there were nuts in a lasagna, I’d go for that. – There probably is at some sort of, like, one of those vegan cafe’s. – Yeah. – Because they make the cheese out of nuts. – Hit us. (birdhouse shatters) Oh gosh. It sounded like plaster or wood. – Yeah, it got very crumbly at the end. – It’s something that was constructed out of, I think it’s wood. Imma say… A birdhouse. – It’s not a bad guess. I almost feel like it was something make of chalk. – Okay. – Like, a big piece of chalk. – What else is made out of chalk? (laughter) – Like a bigger piece of chalk made of other chalk. – All right, what is it? – A birdhouse! – Can you believe that? – Hold on, did y’all give him the answer? – No, I was just like, it was wooden, I pictured something small and wooden, that’s the first thing that popped into my head. – Dang, Link, you get two points for that, man. You really guessed it right. – I don’t know, maybe I do have a gift. I wanna give it to you, Rhett, it’s a birdhouse. – Oh, thank you. Wow, that’s incredible. – Yeah, that’s kinda crazy. Let’s see what else I can do. (eggs crack) That also sounded wooden. (slight laughter) – [Rhett] Are things still happening over there? – Are you still chomping down on something? It splintered. – Why does everything sound like chalk to me? (laughing) What does that say about the way I hear things? I hear through a chalk filter. – It splintered. Which makes me think it’s also wood, but thin. – You think it’s a birdhouse? – Thinner than a birdhouse. What’s something… Like a thinner piece of wood? – Like a popsicle stick? (sighing) – I’ll go with that. It’s another birdhouse but this one’s made out of popsicle sticks. No, that would’ve scattered. – To me it felt like it was a smaller item that one thing on it really broke. Like one of those giant matches that’s like a trick match. – It did snap kind of like a match would. – Like a giant match. Like, hey look at the size of the matches we’ve got this year for Christmas, you know? When people break ’em out. – Long wooden rods, but not matches. – It’s like when they do the little match girl as a play but she’s an adult instead of a little girl. It’s called the little match adult and her match is bigger. She still dies. – My guess is a popsicle. – I’m going with a joke size match. – Eggs? – Eggs. (laughs) That was not eggs, man. – You’d have thought that that would’ve been the easiest one to guess. – I bet you if we could hear it again we’d realize that it was eggs because now we know that it’s eggs. – Let’s play it back. – Impossible. – Okay. (laughing) – Is there any more? – Oh yeah. – Okay. – Smash it. (frozen pizzas smash together) – Chalk, I’m telling you. – You got chalk on the brain, man. So that was definitely crumbly. – Like a big stack of chalk. (laughing) – It’s like dirt. – It was a plant. – I think this was a kid’s science project, like a volcano, like a kid’s volcano. – I’m going with stack of chalk. – All right. Oh, a frozen pizza. (slight laughter) That wasn’t exciting to me. Lucas, you gotta excite me. – [Lucas] Oh, I got one. – Do something that’s really gonna wow us and excite us. – [Lucas] Oh, wait ’til you hear this. Are you ready? – [Rhett] Yeah. – Okay. (can smashes) – [Link] Whoa. – [Rhett] It was so sudden. – [Link] Quite an impact. (can being crumpled) Hit it again. (can being smashed) – Something’s going up in the air and then hitting the ground. (can crumpling) And he’s pulling it out a bit. – Hit it again. (slight laughter) (can crumpling) – [Link] Plastic. – I think that was like a toy car. Like a barbie convertible. – I think it’s an appliance. – With chalk in it. (can being smashed) (slight laughter) Hmm, yeah, that sounded different that time. – I’m not getting any more information. Hit it in a different place. (can being hit lightly) (laughing) I think it is plastic. Could have some chalk in it. – Yeah, it’s a plastic chalk container. Surely there’s chalk involved. – I think it’s a plastic appliance. I think it’s a run of the mill kitchen mixer. Oh. – It’s a can? – It’s a can of coke? – A can of coke? – I didn’t hear any liquid. Did it not burst? – [Male Voice Offscreen] It was empty. – Oh, it was empty. Well this is not empty. – I think it has something to do with the fact, I mean, I’m going on the defensive here, I think it has something to do with the fact that we’re hearing it through a speaker and it’s changing the way that we would normally hear the sounds. That’s why I thought everything was chalk. (laughing) – Lucas, I think you may have a future in Foley. – [Lucas] Really? – No. – [Lucas] Oh. – A Foley future. – [Lucas] Bring me up and then you put me back down. – Nah, would you wanna be in Foley? – [Lucas] Yeah. – You know what? You can start adding Foley to all of our back catalog. (Lucas imitating crunching noises) Yeah, we can reupload everything with like, “Now with Foley!”. Lucas just in a dark, padded room all by himself with a microphone. – Yeah. – Just looking at all of our old videos and adding Foley. – [Lucas] You’re getting me excited. – Okay. – [Lucas] I’d do it. – I think this might be an Instagram series. Is GMM better with Foley? – [Lucas] Will it Foley? – Well, let’s not – [Lucas] You’re right. – Let’s not degrade another series that’s working. Let’s make a new series. – New formats, okay? New formats. – I’m just making a pitch, guys. You take it or leave it but I just wonder if our videos, doesn’t have to be Good Mythical More, it could be whatever you want, if it’d be better with Foley. – Is it Foley that makes sense or is it Foley that’s out of context? – It’s whatever Lucas wants it to be. – [Lucas] Out of context. – Out of context, okay, all right, cool, I like that. – I want you to break your own bones for this. – [Lucas] Done. You guys pay my medical. – Right. – Sure. – [Lucas] So, it’s kinda up to you. – Yeah, we’ll cover all that. – Yeah, we can break your bones if we want because we provide health insurance. (laughs) It’s out classiest design yet, the GMM Heritage long sleeve is available now at mythical.com.
