GMMore 1748: Which Glue Tastes Best? (Glue Taste Test)

(rooster crowing) (big cat roars) (wheel spinning) – Welcome to Good Mythical More. We’re gonna taste glue to see which one is the best. – Win face. Congratulations, Nicole. You win a GMM hat! – [Link] Whoa! – [Rhett] Yeah. To put right on top of your win face. – All of our hats, and everything that we sell, is at mythical.com. We also have an Amazon store that has different stuff. So be sure you check out both of those. Speaking of checking stuff out. – Oh, gosh. – Before we check out this glue– – I hit the mic, I hit the mic. I moved the mic. Oh, no. – I think it’s okay. Oh, no. Okay, all right. – Is it okay? – Is it okay? – Is it okay? I hope it’s okay. I hope it’s okay. Mythical Kitchen. Make sure you subscribe to that channel. Every Tuesday, Thursday, they put out a video. And then on Wednesday they put out their podcast, A Hotdog Is a Sandwich, wherever podcasts are… – (chuckles) Available? – Podcasted. – Well, I don’t know word you were searching for. – Wherever podcasts are sold. – Oh, you got worm just all over your chin. I have not stopped to look at you and, you got just, I mean, it could be anything. – It was a long string and then you ate– – It could literally be anything. – Is it like a spiderweb? – It’s just a little bit brown and clear, and it just goes from here all the way down. How do you not feel it? – All the way down to what? – To the bottom of your chin. Chinny chin chin. – Oh, I see that. – And right there in the middle. Also, Mythical Kitchen, a video I’m very excited about. They got a Domino’s pizza stuffed chicken recipe. – Oh, I see, it’s dangling. – It comes out tomorrow. – It’s dangling right there on my chin. – Mythical Kitchen. Let’s eat some glue. (woman chuckles) – When’s the last time you ate glue? Eating cooked gummy bears, it kind of gives you the sensation of eating glue. – Well, I’ve had glue, I mean, I’ve had glue many times as an adult on this show. But I’m trying to remember the last time just in my normal life. She look great. (woman guffaws) I got to say– – Hi. – Her pants are too low waisted because when you bend her over, she exposes the back side and you can’t pull ’em up at all. – I’ll pull ’em up. She has on underwear. – First of all, low waisted is– – She has underwear. It’s printed on her… – Are low waisted things coming back? Is that what Barbie is saying? – No, I think it’s high waisted and we had just– – No, no. – We were strugglin’. – No. Early 2000s, late 90s– – This arm. – Early 2000s is coming back now. – That arm is on, ya’ll. – Bell bottoms are comin’ back. Low waisted jeans. – That arm. It ain’t comin’ off. She got that Popeye forearm. Oh, it even… Oh, shoot. I just broke it. – You got too greedy. – You know what we need? – We need to do it all over (laughs) again. – No, we just need some glue. Do we have a glue gun? – No, but we have five glues right in front of you. – I’ll break that. I’ll break that. – Let’s just start with… – I meant to say I’ll fix that, but I said the word break. – Let’s just start with washable clear glue. – I’ll break that. Don’t worry. I already broke it. – From Elmer’s. Which says, incidentally, “ideal for children.” – To eat? – I guess. That’s what I’m interpreting that as. – It’s clear. – You know what? Take this one, cause I just started touchin’ all over yours. This is yours. Just take this one. – You know what’s clear to me? – Now everything you have, I have over here. Except for the big one. – What’s clear to me is that they know kids are gonna eat this. That’s why it’s okay for us to taste it. But it’s not okay for you to taste it. We’re not tellin’ you to taste it. – “Safe and non-toxic.” – It says safe and non-toxic. – Hold on. So they make… – “Warning. Choking hazard.” If you guzzle too much of this, it’s gonna clog you up and choke you. – Well, why don’t you find out. – “Small parts. Not intended for children under three years old to eat.” – That’s the top part. – Yeah. The warning has nothing to do with eating it, It has to do with chokin’ on the wrong part. – Just a little bit. – Is it goin’ on your mustache? Or in your mouth? – It went in my mouth. Mmm. (woman laughs) – You just ate a lot, man. – That’s good. – There’s more to eat. – It tastes just like the old glue. – Tastes like white glue? – It tastes like the old white glue. But smoother. – I’ll get some of that. – It’s got like a smooth taste to it. And a little bit cold. I like it. – It does have a cooling effect. And if you… – Cooling effect. – If you’re licking, if you like, if you rub it against the roof of your mouth, and then you kinda breathe heavy, I think you can create a new skin up there. I think I can create a second mouth within my mouth. – Mine’s all gone already. But you know what? I got more glue. That’s a good one. I mean, I can’t imagine glue tastin’ better than that. Like it’s got a nice acidity to it and, whoo, I like that. – Yeah, a cooling effect as well. It’s like Vapor. – Let’s keep it in the same family. Let’s do liquids and then let’s move to sticks. – Okay, okay, okay. And now this stuff right here, Gorilla Glue. – Safe? – “100% tough, kids, school glue, safe, non-toxic, washable.” That a turkey on there? Oh, that’s a gorilla’s arm. I thought that– – Why would they have a turkey? Thanksgiving edition. I thought that down there was a turkey. It looked like a turkey, man. – Okay. All right. – No run, controlled dispensing. – What if you just suck on it like this? You just squirt it right in your mouth and suck on it. – Then you don’t have proof that you’ve eaten it. Okay. – Okay, I’ll show you. – Now this is the white stuff I’m used to. – Oh, this is way gluier. Way gluier. – Oh! I think it has a deterrent in it. (woman chuckles) I think it has something that deters you from eating it. – Yeah, that’s not good at all. – Oh! How do you describe this? – This one tastes like it might have horse in it. (woman chuckles) You know what I’m saying? – Horse nails or the whole horse? – I think they put the whole horse in the glue. – Let me read it. – [Woman] Horse nails? – I see no mention of horse anywhere, you know? If I do like, open, apple F, horse, nothing’s comin’ up. – We knew a guy who worked at a glue factory. And the glue factories stink so bad. – You’re talkin’ about, that’s a paper factory. – Oh, he was a paper mill. – Paper factory. – Hold on, but glue factories smell bad too. – This is horrible. – But a paper factory was awful. And he talked about how they just, first of all, it was loud and it stunk everywhere, so they would just fart up a storm in there. (woman laughs) – Wouldn’t matter. – Nobody cared. – I don’t like how their logo has the gorilla holding the sign. His hands are so human like. I don’t know if I can… – What don’t you like about that? – If I can give you a close up of that. – He’s your cousin, man. Don’t insult your cousin. – It’s just, I don’t think they should put the gorilla to work that way. It’s like, put a gorilla on your logo but don’t make him hold your sign. – I can probably get– – Don’t put him to work. – A gorilla to come in here for you when you’re sick. I mean, that’s how, that’s how… – A gorilla can’t do what I do, you jerk. – (laughs) It’s not an insult to you. That’s a compliment to gorillas. First of all… – [Woman] At first I thought you meant to take care of him. (chuckles) – If I– – You want me to bring the gorilla to take care of you? No, to replace me. – No, no. Just if you’re sick. Listen. Think about, how many views… – If you’re sick– – How many views would we get on that episode if I had a gorilla sitting right here? – What’s a dumb animal? – Not a gorilla. – Huh? – [Woman] What? – What’s a dumb animal? – And a gorilla’s a vegetarian too. He wouldn’t eat us. – [Woman] To replace Rhett? It’s not a dumb animal, but I feel like an elephant would be good. – Elephant’s a smart animal. – [Woman] I know. – And they got great memory. – [Woman] I said it’s not a dumb animal. – That’s not what I’m lookin’ for. – [Woman] But it’s big. – Like a dalmatian. – [Woman] Oh, have you seen that bear video? – I can get a freakin’ dalmatian to replace you, man, if you’re sick. – [Woman] A bear can wave. – It’s the stupidest dog there is. – I think it’s gotta be somethin’ that could hurt you though. I’m doin’ this for clicks. A dalmatian is like just another dog on the internet. – You’re just sayin’ for the… – If a silverback freakin’ gorilla was sittin’ right here next to me, think about how many people would be like, “You’ve got to see the episode where they replace Link with the gorilla.” – Well, hold on. If you’re sick, can the silverback be with me? – Of course! I just came up with the idea he’s gonna replace you first. – The irony is we’re arguing about who gets to co-host the show with a gorilla, but the gorilla would kill us. – The kind of gorilla that I’m talkin’ about is like a Coco. It’s one that’s been around– – A hand signal gorilla. – Humans. Yeah, yeah, right. – An American sign language-ing gorilla. – Right. They might interpret for me the entire time. That’s how it might be. – This one sucks. It’s like eating gorilla eye boogers. – It’s absolutely awful. Not recommended. This one, in other words, this is like (whistles), this is top shelf. – Top shelf stuff. All right, we got some Scotch permanent glue stick. This doesn’t say safe anywhere. Oh, here it is. “Apply at least two strokes.” – Done. – “Bond items quickly. Non-toxic as defined in the FHSA.” – What is that? Federal Halsing Safety Administration. – Freely hoping freely hoping… – No, no. I got it. – Stuff. – It’s called the Federal High ‘Sociation of Adhesives. – Fancy hats. – Association starts with an S. ‘Sociation of Adhesives. – Fancy hats say hello. All right. – Two strokes. – Two strokes. – I got two lips. – [Woman] Federal Hazardous Substances Act. – One. Oh! – I’m putting on my lip first. – Oh! Oh! It tastes like if you lick your grandma’s neck. Oh, man! – Which I assume is like some stupid family tradition (chuckles) that you’ve actually partaken in. – No. Listen, man. – Hold on. You licked your aunt’s cheek. – I licked my aunt’s cheek. – Yeah! That’s crazy! – But I didn’t lick my grandma’s neck. But your grandma puts on perfume on her neck and then if you were to lick it, is what it taste like. I ain’t never lick my grandma’s neck. – Hold on, let me say. As a man– – This is horrible. – Mm-mm. As a man who likes floral tasting things, like I like rose flavored things. – I have a headache. – I love this. But it doesn’t taste like traditional glue, it just tastes like a flower stick. (woman laughs) – It tastes like perfume. – Why’s it smell so good? Why did they make it smell so good? – I’m feelin’ a little sick. Have we tried this one? Washable glue stick? – No. – Ooh, it’s purple. Now this is, what does this say? – Oh, definitely putting this on my lips. But I’m gonna lick it first. – “Disappearing purple.” – This tastes like a crayon. All you can taste is the color. – Is that what it says on it? – How can this be safe? (lip smacking) It tastes like ink. How do they make purple disappear? – Yeah, you’re right. – It tastes like a marker. – This does not taste like it was meant to be eaten. – So I put this purple on this and, ostensibly, it’s going to turn white. You know why they make it purple? – So you know if you’ve got coverage. – Ha, that’s what you want to believe. – So if you’re doing craft with a gorilla, you can keep an eye on what he’s gluin’. – Okay, and then we have a big jug of Amazon Basics glue. Which I’ve got a lot of hope for this one because we have so much of it. – Oh, this smells good. (laughing) Yeah, we wanna like this so we can continue to eat the entire gallon. – Right. Cause if we like it, well, we’ve got a lot. Okay. – This is one of those moments– – I feel like I need a rod to dip in there. – Well, here. I’ll do this. I’ma pour it in the cap and then we’re gonna dip the finger. – I wanna do like… – Oh, gosh. – Like a Fun Dip kinda thing. – Wow. I don’t know how, but I kept all that in there. This is one of those moments when, if our past selves would travel to the future, which is now the present, which is actually the past because this is not live. I’d be like, “Man, what are we doin’?” – Mm-hmm. – And that’s pretty much every episode. – First of all, can I just say that– – You can say it, man. – What is the, what do you call in wine? – The bouquet. – The bouquet. Incredible bouquet. And I’m not making it up. It has that classic, that classic smell. The thing that makes kids eat glue. – Classroom smell. – The thing that makes kids eat glue is the only thing comin’ out of this right now. That’s why kids eat glue, cause that smell right there. – Would you rather eat glue or Play-Doh? – Glue. – Ha! – In a million years. – Well, we’re not in competition. We can both have a gorilla. Cause I’ma be eatin’ Play-Doh. Our first Will It we ate glue. – [Woman] Mm-hmm. – Oh, my goodness. – [Woman] No. Did we? – That brings back memories. – That is so good. It is sweet. It is tart. It is smooth. It doesn’t do that thing that this one did, which is A, taste bad, and B, like ball up in your mouth. This is smooth. It goes away immediately. I’m so glad we have so much of it. – I don’t know. I think this is better though. – I don’t know. I mean… – This is glue that you can’t help but eat. This is glue that’s made to eat. – Well, let’s see. I’ll go back to this, cause I do think this is good. – Thick, cooling effect. (lip smacking) It doesn’t have that flavor profile. – It’s too tasteless. Listen, if you have to eat glue, eat this. If you want to eat glue, [Both] eat this. (woman laughs) – What we’re gonna do, we’ve jacked the oven up to 450 degrees and I’m just gonna brush this down with barbecue sauce cause, shut up! For once, just let me do my thing!
