We need, we’re gonna do some breathing exercises. Stevie’s gonna walk us through different kinds in order to bring us back. – Kinds. – In order to bring us back to this plane, because apparently. – I’m still in a different place. – You’re in a different plane. – And I’m also very happy to say that we’re giving $1,000 to the Los Angeles LGBT Center. My nipples are so hard right now. Like, I mean, I’m not joking about that either. Nothing, everything is true. What happened happened. – Let me go through just my process. – Swear it, swear it. – Oh, okay, well, I’m going to go, I will, the legitimacy will be sworn as I explain my thought process. – We were not, we were not even planning. – No, no, it wasn’t even on the sheet. We had these for the tray game. – We had like the whole number between one and 100 was something that no, none of us talked about. – Here’s what happened in my head. Okay, so I was like, I feel strange, right? Like I actually don’t think that the memory thing is going that well, because I felt like I was being, I was in a little bit of a fog. If you watch, I said, “I feel like I’m in a fog,” right? – I was here. Yeah, I was here. – And then I felt like I was tapping into things, and I don’t believe that you can tap into things. This is not part of my worldview. I don’t believe that. – You were being facetious. – Yeah, and then I was like, “oh, I’m going to do this. This’ll be fun.” And then, in the moment that I told Stevie to really think about it, I visualized. The first thing I visualized was a seven. And the second thing I visualized was a one. And I was like 71. And I’m not making this up. – But specifically all of the like the psychic, you know, I mean, we’re both very skeptical of that type of stuff. So it’s not like, yeah. And I know that there’s a lot of people that, that there’s a lot of psychic hoax things happening where people would like plant stuff. You’re not a believer. – I don’t believe that stuff. – Or psychic profiling. – It’s all just, I think it’s all generally just a bunch of bunk, but listen, there is a 1% chance of this happening, right? And technically a 2% chance since I chose 17 as well. But 71 was my first answer. So, you know, one out of a hundred times, you’re gonna guess the right number. We just happen to be in the universe. There’s two possibilities. We happen to be in the version of the universe or the universe where I synced up with Stevie and just randomly happened to guess the right. – You want to try it again? – I feel like that would be tempting fate. – Yeah. Let’s not do that. – Or something special and inexplicable happened and you were here to witness it. That’s the other option. Right now, I’m choosing to believe that’s true. – Stevie, what do you believe? – [Stevie] I came up with 70. Like, I think that, ’cause you said between one, when you said “one,” I already knew what you were gonna ask. And then I just was like “71” right then and then you asked, did I think of it? And I had already thought of it, but. – You’ve both been in the same room. Maybe there’s some subconscious. – Why did you think of 71? – [Stevie] ‘Cause I think the logical explanation is when you said “one,” I grabbed the number one, and then I don’t know, there was something about like, I was like, well, I’ll go kind of in the middle-ish, I’ll go like at the three-fourths, which would be 70. And I was just like 71 ’cause it’s, but I can’t explain. – That could be what happened. – [Stevie] Yeah. That’s all I can think. And that you were like, okay, you said the number one and you thought roughly in the same way that I did. – And the thing is, if I really believed that I had sent something– – But there was no rationale for seven. – In the universe, then I would do it again and again and again, right? And I would be like, “see how I can get this right every time?” But we know that it would break down after a while, but I’m choosing in this moment to have faith. – [Stevie] But what happened was I gave my board to Morgan and then Morgan like peeked around the sound panels that we have, but we’re all wearing masks. So I couldn’t see. – Yeah, we can’t see Stevie, like right now. – [Stevie] I can just see you in the monitor. – We can’t, we cannot see Stevie at all. – [Stevie] So then Morgan– – Or what she’s writing. – [Stevie] Like showed me what I had written down, and he was saying something, but I couldn’t see what he was saying because he had a mask on. So he was saying that he just saw Rhett write down 71, and like it’s happening right now. But I thought he was asking me what the number was ’cause my seven looked really bad. So I was like, “yeah, seven.” – And I’d already written it. – [Stevie] And you’d already written it down, that’s what he was saying. – So I wasn’t listening to get a seven or anything like that. – I will say that I’m continuing to feel an increased effect of I think caffeine, but also the thrill of this happening. It’s like. – It’s a great combo. – Yeah, I’m like, my face is tingling and the top of my head just, it’s like it’s separating from the rest of it. – [Stevie] What about some breathing exercises? It’ll really calm you down. – We need to calm down. – [Stevie] I feel like we’ve either talked about some of these or, I mean, how many episodes have we done at this point? – We did holotropic breathing on the show. – [Stevie] This first one is called belly breathing. Sit in a comfortable position. – We need to, we need to be brought back down to earth. – Do you have to urinate? – No. – [Stevie] Put one hand on your belly just below your ribs and the other hand on your chest. Take a deep breath in through your nose and let your belly push your hand out. Your chest should not move. Breathe out through pursed lips as if you were whistling. (whistling) Feel the hand on your belly go in and use it to push all the air out. Do it three to 10 times, but guess how many times I’m thinking you should do it. – 71. (whistling) – Four. Were you thinking four? – [Stevie] No. – What were you thinking? – [Stevie] I was thinking seven, because of the 71. – I was thinking, at that point I was thinking like a producer and like only do this four times so we can move on. – [Stevie] Yeah, that’s a good thought too. (whistling) But this is “Good Mythical More.” (whistling) Is it working? It looks like it’s working. – It’s helping. – It feels really, really good. – Feel a little lightheaded. – Yeah, a little bit. – [Stevie] Humming bee breath. – Humming bee? – [Stevie] Choose a comfortable seated position. – Done. – [Stevie] Close your eyes and relax your face. Place your first fingers on the tragus cartilage that partially covers your ear canal. Inhale, and as you exhale, gently press your fingers into the cartilage. Keeping your mouth closed, make a loud humming sound. (humming) How about that one? You like that one better than the belly breathing? – So good. Come out of it. Come out of it. It’s like being born. – What? – Come out of it, it’s like being born. Coming back, do you feel, do you feel like you’re being born? – Your eyes are dilated. – Yeah, I know. I feel like I’m being born. I was just born. I just entered this body at this point in its existence, but I’m new. – Are your ears burning? – No. – Like a cold burn? – I know this body is 43, but the thing inside of it is brand new. – My thing is ageless. – Your thing? – My thing inside of my body is ageless, like it’s eternal. – Okay, well I’m just new to this body. This is helping. – [Stevie] Pursed lip breathing. – Pursed lip. – [Stevie] Inhale through nose for four to five seconds. Exhale with pursed lips aiming for at least twice as long as you inhale. (breathing slowly) – This is kinda like the whistle breathing. – [Stevie] Just seems like breathing. (breathing slowly) – The thing that I’ve noticed when I’ve done like guided meditation breathing stuff, and they say “take in a deep breath and breath out twice as slow.” They never give you enough time. Like they make me feel like I have the lung capacity of like. – Like a crocodile. – Like a whale, a sea manatee, because they never give you enough time. Like that’s my note for all guided meditators. – Give us more time. – Yeah, give you more, give them more time. Push it. – [Stevie] Well, four, seven, eight breathing. You can do this either sitting down or sitting or lying down. – We’ll stay seated. – [Stevie] To start, put one hand on your belly and the other on your chest as in the belly breathing exercise. – We’ve done this. – [Stevie] Take a deep, slow breath from your belly and silently count to four as you breathe in. Hold your breath and silently count from one to seven. Breathe out completely as you silently count from one to eight. Try to get all air out of your lungs by the time you count to eight. – Can you do the count for us? – [Stevie] Yes. Okay. Okay. We’re gonna take a deep breath in. – Can you do the count for us? – [Stevie] We’re going to take a deep breath in first. Here we go, in one, two, three, four. Hold, one, two, three, four five, six, seven. Out, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. In, two, three four. Hold, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Stevie. – I love it. – Should do guided meditations. Second note. Every single time I held my breath, by the fifth or the sixth second, I thought I was going to faint. – We have a medic today. (laughing) – Like I got, I get lightheaded – Let’s get our money’s worth with this medic. Faint, man. – Do you get lightheaded when you held your breath> – Yeah, yeah, everything turns a little bullet time. – But like a good, it was like a good lightheaded. – Yeah, yeah, yeah. – It was like, I want more of it. – [Stevie] Okay, this one, I remember from something too. Alternate nostril breathing. – Oh yeah. – Yeah, yeah, yeah. – [Stevie] Lift up your right hand towards your nose, pressing your fist, no, first and middle fingers down towards your palm and leaving your other fingers extended. – Like this, like this. Oh, you’re gonna go like this, I’ve done this before. – [Stevie] After an exhale, use your right thumb to gently close your right nostril. – Right thumb. – [Stevie] Inhale through your left nostril and then close your left nostril with your right pinky and ring fingers. Release your thumb and exhale out through your right nostril. Inhale through your right nostril then close this nostril. Release your fingers to open your left nostril and exhale through this side. This is one cycle. (sniffing) – There’s a lot of Red Bull in my left nostril. – The overarching feeling I have right now is the need to urinate badly. – I’m starting to need to urinate badly. – [Stevie] That’s my last breathing exercise.
