Welcome to Good Mythical More. We’re going to learn to saw ourselves in half and experience some up-close magic with Robert. Yeah, with Robert. First we’re gonna play Who You Talkin’ About? This is when we read a comment that somebody left, it’s about one of us, and we try to guess who it was. This is from Moustard43. Alright. Who says, “Are we not gonna talk about the jump blank did at the end, that was kinda impressive.” Junk? Jump. I think this is probably you. You’re not much of a jumper. Ever since my back got hurt about 24 years ago. Yeah, I’m a jumper. I don’t do a bunch of jumping. Hopefully this is me. I’m known for my jumps. Yeah. Oh, there we go. Oh, dang it. That was pretty good, man, I gotta hand it to you. I did it. Yeah. Yeah. Can you- Let’s see that again. Oh, dang it. Little toe touch. Yeah, man. I’m not going to do that again. You should’ve been a track star. Let’s, let’s make a magician appear, like. Look at that! Yeah, that’s amazing. I’m telling you, we didn’t even plan that. No, we didn’t. It was a little smelly and wet up there, but it was great. Yeah. Yeah. It works. Come in a little bit closer there, Robert. I might get out of your way so that you can do some, some up close magic. Magic, we’re going to do some magic. First thing I’m gonna do guys, is I’m going to teach you how to do kind of a cool little science magic-ish trick. I love it. I already warn you, right now, I’ve given you scissors. Okay, this is a mistake. I’ve already had some of these. We didn’t use them properly. I’m going to give you a piece of paper, a piece of paper. Okay. Trying not to get the paper wet, but it’s good. Don’t get it wet? Don’t get it wet. It’s going to make it much harder. And don’t cut it? Not yet. I’m gonna teach you to cut. So, I don’t know if you know this, you can cut any shape, any shape on a piece of paper with only one cut. Right, okay. I did not know that. I’m going to teach you how to do one of them. So we’re gonna make a really cool shape. So, first, put down the scissors first. Okay, cool, cool, cool. Alright, you’re gonna fold the paper in half. Like a, like a, Like halfer. A halfer. One of those guys who, that’s what he does for a living. He just folds halfsies? Yeah. He makes, puts things in half. Doesn’t have to be perfect. I appreciate the, It doesn’t have to be perfect? I’m done. Great. Great. I’m, I’m also done and better. Now you’re gonna take and fold it so that the corner is halfway through that. Halfway through that. Yep. That corner halfway. Oh. Crease it. That’s strange. So that corner’s halfway through that… Yep. Great. Then you got a little triangle over here. Fold that triangle over. Is this gonna be a paper airplane? Maybe. No, no, it’s not. I’ve done those before. Okay. You’re going to turn it and you’ll see there’s another little triangle here. Yep. You’re going to fold on that crease. Another triangle. On that little line right there. Yeah. That line, and fold it across that. Oh, and then it’ll line up with this? Yeah. Well, it’ll be a little thingy. It doesn’t have to line up perfectly. I like it when it doesn’t have to be perfect. Yeah, it doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s freeing. Okay, take your scissors. Take your scissors. Oh, well what, what? Doesn’t matter. That’s right. Perfect. Perfect. You’re going to cut across the corner, this way. Now, depending on how sharp it is, it’ll make the shape different. This? Yup. Yup. Just across. Can I go this way? The wider you make it, the weirder it’ll be. Oh, so like this. Yeah, but it doesn’t have to be paper thin, but just That’s good. And when you, that little thing that you just cut, if you take it and open it. Open that? With one cut, a single cut. What? You guys made a perfect, perfect little star. Look at that! Look at that, you did that. Mine, I think mine is better. I think mine is perfect. Look at that, mine looks like something a teacher would give you. But that’s that’s just one cut. That’s one cut. You see? You can make any shapes. That’s just one cut. That’s one cut. You can make a star. I didn’t, I didn’t know I signed up for this. With one cut, you can make a star. One cut, you can make a star, but I’ll show you what happens when you have multiple cuts. Okay? Multiple tries. Yeah. It’s a little bit intricate. So I apologize, but it takes a little bit, but if you have a little bit more intricate cuts here, That looks really haphazard. No, no, no, no, no. It’s it’s all, it’s all pattern. It’s all pattern. So this doesn’t matter. No, no it does, it does. It take those, like, takes a little bit. It seems like you don’t care anymore. Where’s your pride? Where’s the pride in your work? Like you think that we’re kids. Come on, man. I care so much. It seems like you think they were in middle school. No, no. I just. That’s what I feel like. That’s what I feel like. You gotta just do it right. You just gotta do it right. I just think you’re yanking our chain at this point. No, if you cut it in, in specific spots, you can get this right. The way that he’s just gonna throw this in there. No, that’s not, it’s flare. It’s flare. It looks like he’s trimming a hedge. It’s all a big distraction. It’s flare, it’s flare. I have so much trash on the table. Let’s get, let’s get rid of it. All he’s doing is trimming a hedge. I can do it, right? Oh, right there, right there. Do you see that one right there? We cut, right, oh, right there. Yeah? Yeah, right there. Oh, I see it. I see it. I see it. See it right here. Just nip that? Yeah. Now it works. You see, we get we’ve got the perfect cut there. Look at that! This is me over here. Yeah! So you see, it looked like I was just, it was specific. It was very specific. I mean. Specific stuff you had to do there. I gotta admit, that really feels like that was supposed to be me and you. That’s pretty good. See, you make two stars. I mean, even. One star, one cut, multiply, that’s two stars. I don’t know how you did that with the stuff you did, but even if you did it beforehand and just kind of like made it seem like. No, I did it right there. It was still pretty, pretty. It’s pretty impressive, man. It’s pretty good. I mean, you’d probably be good at a pumpkin carving too. Yes. They’re not as intricate because you can’t do the same thing with knife as, as fancy, as flair-y. Look at that! It’s pretty good. We’ve gotta to save that. Can we, can we shadow box that? Yes, you can shadow box that. Alright. So you got some more stuff, but speaking of cutting, I want you to teach us how to cut ourselves in half. Yes, we got to, well, I don’t know if we’re gonna use you. Well, just use him. I got this saw. I got this saw. Go for it. Okay. Put your arms up. You get that side. Oh, oh. Oh no, I see, you just bring, No, no, no. We can’t actually use you. We should bring in kind of like a standby because it’s dangerous. Oh, well here you are, Link. What is that? Yeah. Cause we couldn’t actually, it’s too dangerous to do yourself. He’s a little short, isn’t he? He’s just as beautiful. Not really. Not really? You’re kind of, you’re kind of the right height. This is, I think this is, this is a, I mean, I’m even shorter than I really am. Yeah you are, okay. That makes you feel better. Alright. I see, I see the writing on this wall. I already feel bad that I gave you a saw. Right. I’ve seen this enough times that, no. That’s, why would you cut the head? Nobody cuts the head in a magic show. Because the whole point is you’ve gotta to put them back together. Yeah. There you go. Yep. Yep. Yep. This is going. This is great. Yeah. It’s about, you see how Rhett’s got the, back and forth motion? Don’t compare me to Rhett! I do my own thing. I can’t tell if you would have been like, easier if you did the other persons or. Nope. This is, this is, I don’t think I can help him. I’m a little worried about him right now. I am too. There’s some aggression coming out, that I. He’s being so aggressive with that. I just think it’s going to come out in a moment of anger and just get his femoral artery. Yeah, there we go. There we go. And then you can switch. Oh. Here you take that. Where’s my britches? This is what you would look like with my legs. Yeah. Wow. We just kind of look the same. We’re both wearing this. That’s what you would look like with my legs. You’re finally my height. Look at that. Wow. That’s, that was, that was, that was pretty darn difficult. But it was worth it, guys. Because you guys are really good magicians. Very much. Okay. What next? One of the first tricks I learned as a kid, I saw this gentleman named Jack Hughes and he performed this trick. It was amazing. Jack Hughes. Jack Hughes, famous Jack Hughes. And he had this thing. It was about this tall. It was this thing. It looked like a, a bellboy. And he would do this thing with cards and he had a little holders. You put the cards there and moved back and forth. It was crazy. It was amazing. Okay. And he had this like hypnotizing thing. I was eight years old when I started magic when I saw it. So what I did was I decided to go home and I made it myself. I made one myself. As a kid? As a kid. Okay. And, but it was like cardboard and glitter and glue and stuff like that. So now that I’m 33, I figured I’d remake it because I have got better skills and better, proper building materials. So it’s, there it this. I made it out of Legos. Hey, ain’t no shame in that. No, it’s great. It’s fantastic. It’s, it’s very… Beautiful, is the word. Minimalist. Yeah, because sometimes magic props don’t need to be crazy, but it’s very simple. It’s a very simple, little thing here. Okay. So he uses a deck of cards here. Alright. I’ll certify, certify that these are certified. Certified? He’s certified. It’s certified. We’ll shuffle the cards. Oh, it’s even fresh. This is fresh. Smell it. I can smell this. What’s it smell like? It smells like fresh cards. Yeah, fresh cards. Can you just put that into words? Bread, bread, it smells like bread. Dead trees. Perfect, alright. It’s very simple. Very simple. Link. Put that in to words? Link, you want to be the hypnotist? Or do you want to be like the, the audience member. He needs to be whatever is not going to screw the trick up. You’re getting very sleepy. Perfect. You’re going to work the least amount as possible. I think you want me way over there. No, no, this is perfect because it’s a, it’s kind of a hypnotizing thing. You’re going to be able to see through somebody else’s eyes. Oh, okay. Cool. Oh. So I need you to stare deep into this eyes. No, don’t look into the eyes cause it’s got to be only Link. I’m a little, okay. Just a little boy inside you. Yeah. That’s great. That’s okay. That’s it. Are you there? You’re connected. You can you feel like you can see through the eyes of our little man here. Okay. Perfect. Disconcerted with the fact that another Link is looking along for this. Yeah. It’s a little… What am I, what am I missing? I know, I didn’t, It’s like in my peripherals too and it’s very creepy. Right, you’re going to take any card. You’re gonna take any card. And I’m not even gonna look. You’re not even gonna look, you don’t have to look. Do I show the audience. You can show the audience, Even if I can see. Link, you don’t look. You can close your eyes. Even though I don’t, I’ll cover his eyes. I just don’t want to screw this up. You’re not going to screw this up. You’re not gonna screw this up. Okay, perfect. We’ll place it back in place back. Okay. It’s inside the deck. You’re safe. We’re going to shuffle the cards. You’re safe. You can look now. Alright, here we go. What I’m gonna do. I didn’t remember my card, shoot. That’s okay. You didn’t pick one. You didn’t pick one. I’m going to take a card from the bottom little section and I’m going to put it up to the top, but I’m going to show our little man here. Okay. And that’s why you can see through his eyes. You can see through his eyes. We’ll place it up there. So if you get the feeling that you see Rhett’s card. Am I supposed to look at your cards or just like, look as if I’m the guy. Whatever you want. If you want to close your eyes, or whatever. So I’m going to show him a card. I’m gonna show him a card. What does that, was that it? No. No, it didn’t feel good. Oh, you’re asking me? Well, every time. So I’m here. You should be able to see through his eyes right now. Can you see that card? You can, but it’s not his, is it? Or is it. No?. Okay. We’ll say we’ll take that as a no, we’ll take that as no, we’ll do the next one. We’ll do the next card. He’s got it. He’s looking at it. He’s looking at it. Do you see it? Yeah? Is it his card? No. Okay. Okay. We’ll do the next one. We’ll do the next, that’s okay. That’s okay. He’s looking at the next one. Do you see it? Yeah. Is it his card? No. No, you don’t. Okay. Okay. Okay. What are you seeing? That’s fair. Link he’s looking at another one. Can you see it? Yeah. Is that Rhett’s card? Yes. No, no. No? Yes. Yes or no. Rhett? Rhett? Rhett, do you think, do you? Do I think that’s my card. Yeah. Cause now he’s conferring with you, and I feel like you have to decide for him. Yeah. That’s my card. Yes. Rhett, what was your card? Five of spades. You don’t remember your card either? Five of spades. It’s perfect. Perfect stop. You stop right at the, Oh, look at that, man. You could have stopped at any card, you stopped perfectly. I did it! You did it! You did that with Legos, man. Yeah. That’s how I roll, baby. Gotta roll Legos, babies. You know how we roll? We have stuffed versions of ourselves that talk. Let’s talk about that. Pretty cool, huh? We’re still good. That was my nickname in high school. Be your mythical best. What? It’s like we’re talking, but it’s. But it’s not, you you’re like a ventriloquist. Yup. Dink it. What are the chances? Not a sponsor. Would you like some wood? Let’s talk about that. Okay. As you can see, there’s a lot of phrases though. Forgive us for doing an ad for ourselves in the middle of your thing. You have to. Hello, sheeple. As you can see, we can’t. That’s pretty good. Guys I want to do one more for you. One more? Perfect. Okay, and it’s right up your alley. It’s right up your alley. I got a little easel. Oh. That’s for me. I’ve got these. I’ve got these GMM cards that I made, got these GMM cards that I made. I’ve got a red one and a blue set, red set and a blue set. Alright. Because Rhett picked the card, Link, which, which set do you want to use? Blue. The blue one, the blue one. Okay. I’ll give you the blue one. Here’s what I want you to do. You’re going to turn over the top card one at a time and show the cameras so we can see what they are. There’s seven things, they’re your favorite foods. Okay. Do I look? You can look. We got peanut butter. Peanut butter is so good. Love it. Next one. Oh, Frosted Mini Wheats. Delicious, delicious. Ranch dressing. Finally, we get to emphasize things that I like. You know raw tomatoes. Not gonna happen. You love, this is great. It’s a different pile. It’s delicious, no. Oh, this is, guys. You guys love this. Carolina Reaper. Bad experience. Delicious. Did not love that. It’s amazing. Pork blood. Gotta have the pork blood, baby. Not, not a favorite. And the last one. Link’s favorite. Cat food. You know it’s, it varies. Sometimes, it’s okay. Dog food, I prefer. Oh, gotcha. I should, I should’ve put dog food for that. Okay. Here’s what you’re going to do. Put that face down. You can see that our cards were in the same order. That was on purpose. I saw that, I saw that. What I’m going to do first, before you do anything, is I’m going to mix mine up just a little randomly. Yeah. Yeah. We’ll do that one. We’ll switch, then switch. Those two. That one. Then switch those two. Okay. I’ve mixed up my cards, are gonna go on the easel. That way. I won’t touch them. They’re there. Don’t you touch them. I won’t touch them. So you only have seven cards. So both of you are gonna think of a number between one and seven. It could be one, it could be seven. Already doing it. So Link take the cards for me. Let’s say, let’s just pretend you had, you were thinking of five. So deal one card at a time on top for you. Just think, this is for example, this is how you got to, I got to give you examples. Okay, fine. Change my number. You don’t have to change your number. You can do this again by yourself. Oh good, good. One at a time, just to show the audience. One, two, three, four, five. Now you’ll drop the rest of the cards on top of that. Just like that, hand them to Rhett. Rhett, you’re gonna do the exact same thing, but let’s say you thought of three. So go ahead, and deal three cards. Just like Link did. Did you think of three? No. Good. Two, three. Drop them on top. Wonderful, now to make us a little bit more chaotic, a little bit crazier. Rhett, take the first card. Turn it face up. Face up onto the table. Boom. Take the next one. Face up on top of that one. Tomatoes. Ranch dressing, and drop the rest of the cards on top. So now we’ll have some mixed up face up and face down. Rhett, pick up all of those. Getting crazy. Now you were thinking of a number before? Yes. Okay. Hold the cards in your hand and you’re gonna deal whatever number you were thinking of, and deal that to the table. And then don’t do anything after that. You said it wasn’t three. Oh, he was thinking of six. Take that next card, turn it over, upside down and drop it on top. Perfect, hand them to Link. Link, you’ll do the same thing. Whatever number you were thinking of, though. Like whatever number you were thinking of, one at a time. I mean, I was thinking of five, so you already got me. Yes, but it doesn’t have to be five. You can change. One, two, three, four. Five, the cards you have in your hand, turn them both over and drop them on top. Because if you would have not done that, that card would have not been on top. Right? Would have been a different card. But because you turn them over, that’s the card on the top. I’ll tell you this right now, guys, we can end the trick right now over done. Done. If you want to, Frosted Mini Wheats is on the top. We can stop right now. But if you guys want to, you can deal it again. Thus changing the top card, but you don’t have to, but you can, but you don’t have to, but you can, but you don’t have to, but you can, but you don’t have to. Cause it’s Frosted Mini Wheats. We can end the trick right now. I like Frosted Mini Wheats. But you can. But he’s ready if we want to change it. But you don’t have to, but you can, but you don’t have to, but you can. But should we? But you can, but you don’t have to. I think we should change it. Okay. Link, go on and pick them up. If you want to decide on a number you guys can, or you can just do whatever you want. What number are you thinking about? One, one. Yeah, me too. We got it. We did the one thing he’s not prepared for. One. One. Deal one card there, turn all the cards over, cause you see it would have been peanut butter, but because you did one, it’s now tomatoes. Aw, crap, man. We’ve got it. Now think about this guys. It was your numbers. It was your choices. You even decided to change the ending because it’s not Frosted Mini Wheats. Totally different. Have I touched these cards? You haven’t. Has he touched the cards? No. See, we got tomatoes, they match. Tomatoes. Cause you got, well, that’s just a coincidence. Just one in seven. Let’s see what the next one you guys have. You have Ranch dressing. Next. I got Ranch dressing. That’s so weird. I got Ranch. What’s the next? You’ve got pork blood. You’ve got pork blood next, pork blood. I’ve got pork blood next. You’ve got cat food next. You guys got cat food next. Let’s see. I’ve got cat food next, guys. The next one is Carolina Reaper, Carolina Reaper. I’ve got Carolina Reaper. The next one after that is peanut butter. I’ve got peanut butter, the last one, Frosted Mini Wheats, guys. We won! Perfect! If we wouldn’t have changed it? What would you have done if we hadn’t of change it? I can tell you what you would have done. They would’ve still been right. Cause you’ve got it going on, man. But have you seen us cut ourselves in half? That’s a good one. Cause that was a pretty great one. Oh man. Okay, well. Check him out at the Magic Castle. We can do the thing where it’s like check him out. And what do we say? You can check out my website, http://www.RobRamMagic.com or my Instagram @RobRamMagic on Instagram and stuff. And let me tell you, Christmas parties out the freaking wazoo. Year-round. Thank you so much for being here, Robert. That was amazing. Yeah, that was awesome. Of course, thanks. Alright. Now what? We just play with these stars. That was exhausting. I know, I’m going to take a seat. I’m glad I didn’t screw it up. Thanks guys. There’s a new sheriff in town. He took, he took me.
