GMMore 2621: Flavored Bubbles Taste Test

Welcome to Good Mythical More. Apparently there are bubbles for dogs, as well as children. Dogs love bubbles. We have some of those bubbles loaded up in multiple of these cute little fishy things. And we’re gonna see if we can taste the flavors of each of them. Of course we can. Will we know what they are? I don’t know, but we’ll taste them. Oh yeah, can we identify the taste? Okay. Let’s play a little bit of Think It and Sink It. It’s like our, it’s like our trivia game. Available to everyone on the Mythical Society app. Every day there’s a question that asks, what will happen on GMM today? Why are you so, why are you so far away? If you play it right, I’m being dramatic. If you play it right, you play it before you watch it. Watching it and playing is like reading the future ahead of time. Is that cheating? Well, that’s kind of what we’re doing cause we, we were there for it. Uh, what will Rhett call Perry The Platypus? A. Detective Puss. B. Perry the Pussy Puss. C. Detective Beaver. Or D. Robo Puss. I remember what I said. I think you, what was the first one? Detective Puss. No, that’s, well it, I thought it was that one. But then what’s the third one? Detective Beaver. I think you went with Detective Beaver. No, I went with Detective Puss, man. Yeah. All right. and 61 percent of you knew it. But 32 percent thought it was Detective Beaver. Nobody thought it was Perry the Pussy Puss. I would never say that. I would never say anything like that. They didn’t predict that. I would never say anything like that. Okay, well. Let’s fire away, huh? I can’t remember the last time I went to El Coyote. I’ve never been. I went, you should go. I went there to, go with friends. You thought I was just gonna go by myself? Tequila. Yeah, don’t go alone. Okay, take that off my list. Oh, there we go. Soap. You know what I’m tasting? The smell of the motor. Inside that thing. I think, so. You’re tasting the smell of the motor? I’ll say that all these are non-toxic, but there’s some that taste like stuff and some that are just scented like stuff and this. Well it’s perfume! Might be a scented like stuff. Okay, so we should be snorting this one, not eating it? Well, because when you said that you think it’s the motor, I got one. I think it’s, I think it’s a certain something that’s triggering you to think that. Burnt motor. Oh. Cap gun. What? Get more over here. There’s like a breeze blowing them back away from me. Oh. Oh. Oh. Cobbler? What? Is it fruity? This is what dogs do, I guess. It smells like the motor. Okay, there’s something that sometimes people, companies use to put in things that are supposed to smell or taste like this thing – that is very triggering. – Bacon. Yep. Yeah, it’s bacon flavor. Yeah, so does it smell like liquid smoke now? Yes. Liquid smoke. Yep. And I sniffed a lot of it. You thought it was motor smoke. Motor smoke. Hey, there’s something wrong with this motor. There’s a motor smoke. Bubbletastic Bacon Scented Bubbles. I, this is, not vouching for it. Not vouching for it. I don’t think I would go to El Coyote over Salsa and Beer though. Well that, I always go to El Compadre too if I want that type of, cause to go to. El Coyote is a legend. – But you have to. – It’s so far away. Drive so far. It’s worth it. The seats are awesome. It’s like going through a maze. It’s the last place that what’s her name ate, like he said. Is it? What about Casa Vega? Tarantino filmed there. That’s a similar deal, right? Similar deal. That’s also in the movie. I’ve never been there. I’ve been there. From what I remember, very similar, but if I was going on a date right now, I would still go to meditate. Yeah The vibe that’s the thing. It’s a great vibe. The vibe brings, I’d say, half of the experience. – A date, yes. And the cocktails. Coyote, party Large group, Coyote Date. Yeah. Mirate. I recently went back to Mirate. After we went. And, ordered a little Mezcal. Like, just neat. Thinking, I’ll be simple here. That’s neat. And they brought me, this, like, ceramic handmade bowl and plate. Are you, I’m only talking to Rhett. I’m listening to you. Okay. That had, roasted crickets, little like gooseberry fruit and something else on the side to like sip and eat with my thing. Did you like it? Yeah, I did. It sounds great. Yeah, I did Gingerbread. Close. It is a baked good. Croissant. Cinnamon roll. Yep, cinnamon roll. Yes. That’s pretty good. I like that. Bubblelick Glazed Cinnamon Roll Flavored Bubbles. I feel like I kind of locked myself into a Mezcal thing and I don’t know how to feel about it. Cause like I go to a restaurant and if they have a Mezcal cocktail, I’ll get it. And now I feel like I’m just becoming too predictable. You, you can predict what you’re going to order? I’m just like, if I look at a cocktail menu and I’m like, oh, they got Mezcal in a cocktail, I’m going to get that. Cause I know I’m going to like it. I don’t, why do you care if you’re predictable? It’s just, if you’re bored with it. What I’m saying is, is that, exactly, like, am I, what am I missing out on? If, if I’m just like, I’m gonna get this every time, what other cocktails, in the future, like there’s a future Rhett. Every time I have a cocktail decision at a restaurant. Yes. An infinite number of me’s split off. Okay. Well, not really an infinite number, just however many cocktails there are on the menu, I guess. Split off into new futures. And one Rhett orders something with rum in it. This Rhett right now is like, rum? I don’t really like rum. But there’s some Rhett out there at that point who’s like, rum? Try it this time. And then he becomes a rum guy. What is his life like 20 years from now? Sweeter. A little bit sweeter. Not as smoky. Remember that time you drank rum along in a bathtub? Didn’t turn out well. Exactly. Do I become like you? Yeah, cause I was drinking straight out of the bottle. Like a, like a pirate. It’s good to already be in the tub when you’re – gonna vomit on yourself. – Malibu rum in a hot bath. Malibu? He was drinking Malibu, I wasn’t there. That was a college thing. He just told me about it. No, it was when he got married. When you got married and you were, and, those people let you live in their house to take care of their big dog. We’re on a different timeline. It was a college thing for me, but then it took you a minute to. Everything took me a minute. What about the Link that didn’t drink that Malibu rum? What about the Link that got into that bathtub with a bottle of rye whiskey? What’s he doing now? No, not any old fashions. It’s going in your eye. Too close. Oh, this is awful! Maybe it’s the smeller. Yeah, this is a scented one. Oh, it’s awful! I don’t like. I regret. What does it smell like? Dog breath. – Really? – A dog would like it. You should like it. The problem with. Pudding? Putting something in scents like this is like. – Pudding. – Pudding senses? It gives me headaches. I mean, he likes five things. Let’s see, pudding, peanut butter. Yeah, there you go. Okay, alright. It doesn’t, it doesn’t smell like peanut butter. No. It doesn’t. And, but I guess if your dog goes for it. Hold on. Do it again. Just fill the air with the scent. Fill it and I’ll, and I’ll waft it. Smell your, nose. It’s all over my nose. I can smell my nose. There’s a little bit of peanut butter smell. I’m still smelling that. I give you that. Cinnamon roll? I don’t like it. Dogs will chase bubbles no matter what, right? So it’s nice for them to be edible. But. I haven’t bubbled. They don’t need to be, they don’t need to be flavored in order for a dog to want to chomp them. Do you bubble your dogs? I’ve never bubbled my. It depends on the dog. It’s not good to just regular bubble your dog. But, it needs to be, it needs to be an edible one. Last night. But then I guess, why not make it flavored? Sean, vomited. At like, it was like 9:30, I go back, I was out, outside. I come back inside, and he’s sitting there on the couch, like, really prim and proper, and then right in front of him is just this big thing of green vomit. No, no, pink vomit, that is dripping off of the couch and onto the floor, and he’s just like. He didn’t even walk away from it? And I was like, what is it? Why is it pink? What is in it? It looked like there was like pieces of fruit in it? I don’t know what it was. I was like, who left their door open? You know, that’s what I always accuse my kid of. Oh. And they only have one at home now, so it’s usually Shepard. And then, he seemed fine. You know, half the time they get something they shouldn’t, they just vomit it up. And then, I wake up this morning, going to the, and, oh, first of all, I wake up this morning to the feeling of Sean licking my face. Okay. Which he does quite a bit. It’s just a little, hello, you know, and I like it. But then I remembered, oh crap, he vomited last night and I kind of like picked him up and he stands completely on me and just licks my nose and then he starts to go for the eyes. I’m like, don’t lick at my eyes. Are you crazy? Yeah, you can get pink eye. He can’t see. I pick him up, put him down. I go to the bathroom. And then in the middle of the bathroom, another pile of vomit, this one completely green. So he had done pink vomit and green vomit. What is happening? Is he like, wants us to throw a party? I don’t know what is happening. Yeah, that’s how a dog tells you he wants to throw a party. He seems totally fine. Rainbow, rainbow vomits. He licked my face with a vomit tongue. That’s tough, dude. You should let him eat cat crap and then do it. Bread. Some kind of bread product. Oh, no, this is fish. No. No, it just looks like a fish. Chocolate cookies. Chocolate cookies. No. Fresh baked bread it smells like. I would think that they would use a little liquid smoke in this one too. Ham. Close. Hot dogs? Closer. Hamburger. Sausage. Sausage. It’s brown. Look how much of a mess we’ve made. Bubbletastic Sausage. So, the dogs like the idea of sausage bubbles. I keep reading. Of course they do. They’re dogs. Oh, strike. Sausage bubbles. It sounds like an Urban Dictionary term. We got a case of the sausage bubbles. Oh, God. This one’s edible. It’s got a, you got to work up to it. Oh, sweet. Strawberry shortcake. Tasty. Cotton candy? Yeah. ICEE? Oh, cotton candy. Cotton candy, there it is. It’s a little one. Is this also for kids? This is gross. Is it also for kids? I guess it could be. It is non-toxic. Hey kids, I’m breaking out the sausage bubbles. Come down, come down from your tree house. This one’s scented? Edible. It’s going right in now. Suck, like breathe in. Oh God. Inhale it. It’s really hard for at least a little soap to not get in there. – Blueberry. – This one’s citrus. It’s a fruit. Strawberry, cherry, black cherry. Keep going through red fruits. Red apple. Raspberry. Apple. Red fruit. It’s a big fruit. The biggest of red fruits. Watermelon. Watermelon. Watermelon’s green. It’s kind of a green fruit. Well, but the part you eat. You can eat the rind. Yeah. See, even this is green, Stevie. This is just scented, please don’t eat this one, I, it’s, I don’t know, I’m confused right now. How many more do we have? Just this one and one more? I’m just really over it. Yeah, I can tell. I mean, I, I hate tasting just like. I hate tasting. Just pure flavor. I need a new job. Just pure flavors, you know? Got to get it warmed up. Oh, oh, this one’s unpleasant. I said scented. Tuna. Yeah, that’s something a dog would like. It’s a little fishy, right? No. Clam. No. It’s not seafood. Oh, it’s another meat. Meatloaf. It’s just beef. No. Bone marrow. It’s just chicken. A little more specific chicken? Fried chicken. No. – Fried. – Roasted chicken. Yeah, rotisserie chicken. It’s a rotisserie chicken. I got it all over my face. It does smell like it. Big and orange, huh? Roasted chicken. I’ve been sticking my face in a rotisserie chicken. We have one more. Sean’s gonna love this. Okay, this one is like a little F-ed up in my opinion. It’s. Is it what I’m thinking it is, Stevie? Crime scene. Is it? Stevie? I don’t even know, I’m trying to go dirty and I’m – confused. – Roadkill. Yeah. Roadkill? That’s what you were thinking? Other dog’s butt. No, I wasn’t thinking roadkill. Okay, now I’m confused. It smells good actually. Please don’t. Birthday cake. It’s messed up because if you are supposed to give this to your dog. Other dog. No. Dog butt. Yeah. Dog meat. Intruder scent. What is it? What does it actually smell like? Birthday cake. Okay. It’s in, it’s in a sweet category. Cookies. Oh, chocolate. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Isn’t that messed up? Oh, that is F-ed up. Well, you give them a little bit. Give them a taste for it. Yeah. You’re going to want, whenever you smell this, go for it in other aspects of life. I had another potential, dog. Sean, he’s been trouble lately because now that I’m thinking about it. Shepherd left a, I mean, world’s colliding here. Shepherd left a taco, a street taco on the dining room table and Sean got up there and ate half of it before he was caught. How does that little man get up on a table? Chair. Chair. He can jump on a? I didn’t even know he could jump on a chair. And, if you didn’t know, there’s onions on a street taco and Sean weighs 10 pounds and I’m like, he had onions. And so I’m very, you know, my wife has made me very paranoid about all the ways a dog can die. Just cause she thinks about those kind of things. In fairness, you guys have killed a lot of dogs. We’ve had a lot, well, we haven’t killed a lot of dogs. We’ve had a lot of dogs pass under our care. Right. The curse. You wrote about it. Three of them actually. And actually only one, two under our care and then two under my parents care. So I’ve had four actually in my life. But we digress. Anyway, so, I’m on the internet looking at how much onion a dog can have by weight and it’s not a lot. I didn’t know onion was on the list of, not that I’ve been feeding the dogs onions, but. And so I take the, so what I did is he’d eaten half the taco. I took all the onion from half a taco, and I weighed it using our little scale. And it was like, however many grams. And then I did the math, and he was below the threshold of like, immediately take him to the hospital. But he wasn’t that far below it. But they were like, if he doesn’t get to this threshold, just kind of keep an eye on him or whatever. And then he vomited pink. But, no, this was like, this was a month ago. Okay. So, the, it’s not much. If you have a little dog and there’s onion in something, they’re not going to just sit there and eat onions. It’s not like they love onions, but if there’s onions in something, you gotta watch out for that. You gotta watch out. Also grapes. They can’t eat grapes. A lot of people don’t know that. Grapes, raisins. Avocados. Can’t have avocados. Yep. There’s a lot of little things your dogs can’t have. I’ll share something about my dog. Please do. Jade took two BMs this morning on the wall. Great. Yeah. Twice as many as normal. You know, I wasn’t, I almost wasn’t ready for it. I was like, come on. And then it was like, no, okay. Sometimes you’re pulling on them. You look back and they’re in the squat position. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Dad? Man, I mean, yeah, and I feel for them. You know, it’s like nobody’s yanked my leash when I’ve been pooping. Yeah, I’m not into that either. But yeah, she had two, two, two sizable BMs. Like sometimes there might just be like a little bit more. No, but this was like. It was a whole other meal. It’s like she doubled the production. Yeah. Good for her. Yeah, I was really proud of her. I’m glad to hear that. I was like, well girl, you got a pep in your step now. Look at you. She sped up. Look at you. So, there were three BMs that I had to clean up this morning on my walk and it got me thinking. I couldn’t handle a third dog. What about these people that are professional dog walkers? You’ll see them around the city. And they’re walking like five, eight dogs. They got big bags. I mean, but the thing is, if you’re walking five dogs, how do you even walk? I mean, every time you turn around, another dog is having a BM, right? If that’s your job, I think you figure it out. Like, there’s gotta be like a expeditious way to, you know, to get rid of the BMs. Did I tell you about the professional dog walker I met whose name was Walker? Yeah, you did. And he was a fan. And, I was like, well, Walker, what do you do for a living? He says, I’m a dog walker. What does he do? And I was like, because I thought it was a joke. But you didn’t ask him about how he picks up all that poop? And he. – I wish he would have. – That’s a missed opportunity. And, and then I, then I wanted to say, did it feel like your calling? Like, I didn’t know, like what came first. Did it feel like your calling? Did he change his name? I don’t know. But, next time I see him, I’ll ask him. Shout out to Walker of dogs. I’ll ask him about the BMs and how he handles those. Good. People like us giving. Yeah. Career advice. Yeah, it doesn’t feel, it doesn’t feel like we should do it. And, listen, that doesn’t stop a lot of people on the internet from doing it.
