We're guessing crayon colors.
Welcome to Good Mythical More.
We've been given two sketch pads,
something I've always liked the idea
of- Yeah … but never actually had.
Now, this sketch pad is the
300 series, and it's better.
Better.
It's not the best, but it is better.
We, uh, we got hung up on what was
on the front of this, and, uh, we
concluded that it was a bike tire, and
then a regular tire, and then a rope.
So it's like a rope swing, but it's like a
rope swing that somebody has put a blanket
inside, and then tried to get a bike through.
I don't, I don't- And we're very confused.
I don't know why that's there,
but… Could've been anything.
I think it being nothing
empowers you to do better.
Yes.
I mean, if you look at this color,
we have to guess the name of it
That's pretty.
Whoa, and look.
Do you see how it's different,
it's different colors of purple?
Did you see that?
Yeah, look at that.
Look at it.
Oh, yeah.
Hold on, like seriously, it's got a
little bit of… It's, what is going on?
Some of it's blue.
And some- Some of it's purple.
Some of it's purple.
Okay, I think that this- It's speckled
six-day-old bruise.
So this that is not what it's called.
Uh, but this crayon comes
from the confetti pack.
Oh.
And I think that's why you're
getting multiple colors.
That, and it never stops.
That is cool, dude.
So it's very streaky.
Like, it'd be tough to
do that with one crayon.
Okay, I think- I don't
think it would be difficult.
I think I'm gonna challenge you on that.
I think what you would do is what you're
doing with this crayon, and then you do
it with another one of a different color.
Okay.
Challenge accepted.
Hmm.
But not right now.
What is this?
What is this?
Okay.
I think this is a w- a Wonderful
Dusk sunset.
You know how you got
Purple Mountain's Majesty?
Ooh.
I think this is Purple Mountain's Majesty.
Whoop, bup, bup, bup, bup.
Now, now I gotta see what
this thing's made of.
See?
How do I deal with the
adversity of a broken crayon?
I'm thinking something in
the passion, passionate.
Do they still do… They wouldn't
do that for crayons, would they?
No, they wouldn't use the term
passion for that, would they?
Sure they would.
Go for it.
Okay
Is it, is it nature related?
It is not nature related.
Is it medical related?
It's, it's, it's conceptual, right?
Mm. No.
Passionate encounter.
I would not go conceptual.
I wouldn't go natural.
Uh… All right, this is in- Robo-
robot love … in- industrial?
This one's weird, 'cause, like, I
would… The w- the better naming of it,
I would say, would be, like, an event.
But they went for, like, the
person who- at the event.
Birthday party goer.
Birthday girl.
That's… Link, you're all over it.
I mean, you're kind of both all over it.
Birthday- Birthday
boy … uh, go gender neutral.
Birthday person.
Birthday per- uh- Go
young … birthday hu- human.
Birthday child.
Birthday child.
It is birthday child.
Birthday child.
This is birthday child?
Well, somebody needs to get
with the program over there.
Birthday child is such a weird name.
This is the birthday child,
everybody gather round.
We're going to sacrifice them.
I mean, that's what I mean, that's,
it's just, like, yeah, it's just weird.
Yeah.
It's weird terminology.
Yeah, yeah.
Now look at that, Link.
This one is also from the confetti pack.
Oh, let's see what it confettis.
It's pukey
It's pukey and then- Okay.
Yep.
What's the streak?
The streak is… Birthday cake vomit.
Sick birthday child
It looks more green in the
hand, but brown on the page.
You know?
I think this is, uh,
goose poop.
No, goose poop has a lot of white in it.
Well, I'm- Goose poop can be almost
entirely white Doesn't smell.
It's not a scratch and sniff.
What are we gonna do about goose poop?
We- it is a problem.
Like- It's everywhere … there's places
that you don't wanna go because of it.
What are we gonna do about it?
I, I think, I think we just need
to have a special type of rake.
I mean, if you had a personalized rake and
then you had the ability to turn goose poop
into, I don't know, like something enjoyable.
Hold it.
Like, like a, like a, I don't know,
like a, like a delicate mousse.
Well, I think these are… I, I
think our ideas can work together.
So you're saying once we had
it, we have it, we can use it.
Make it a valuable resource.
I'm saying everybody's been talking
about how smart birds are, you know?
Like, birds are supposed to be super smart.
I don't know how smart a goose is, but
birds have, like, reasoning capabilities.
So why cannot we train a goose
or geese to poop in one spot?
Like, how do we get them
all pooping in a pile?
In a big old goose- In a b- … poop pile.
They know how to get across the country.
They know when to go, what times to leave.
The- Yeah … it's just one
additional step is getting them
all to poop in the same place.
We collect it, and then we start doing
your idea, which is to use it for what?
Well, building material.
Uh- Goose poop houses.
There's a whole goose poop
community popping up in New Jersey.
I think the smell- I think- … leaves
once you really start to dry it out.
Oh, yeah So I think birthday
child's second home.
Hmm.
This is a, uh, this is a wealthy child.
Um- This is a place, uh, Crayon,
like it's, it's, uh, a location.
Oh.
The desert, like the painted desert.
Forgotten marsh.
And, uh, it's a place that I feel
like a lot of kids may have thrown
up, uh, if that helps you at all.
I don't think it will.
Uh- It's a fun- … convenience store
dumpster … kind of a- It's where they make
out- … nostalgic- … and vomit … spot.
It's a what?
Nostalgic?
Nostalgic?
Nostalgic.
Hmm.
Ball pit.
Post office.
A nostalgic place where kids might
have thrown up after maybe having too
much, like, candy or, um- Fairgrounds?
Fairgrounds is, is close.
Yeah, something that
comes to the fairgrounds.
Carney's circus.
It is At the Circus, but not, it's not
called Circus, it's called At the Circus.
What?
That's the name of it, At the Circus?
That's not a hint?
No, that's the name of it.
It's At the Circus.
There's nothing about this that's circusy.
It's a really big hint.
Come on.
I mean, really, come on.
I mean, you said circus.
I was, I didn't know how I
was gonna get you that at the.
There's some orange in
there, brown and orange.
At the Circus?
Who's doing this at Crayola?
I don't, I don't, I, I… Let's move on
from the, uh- We're disturbed Crayola.
What are these called, this category?
The glitter category, whatever it's called.
Yeah, this is in the, um- Confetti, confetti.
Confetti category?
The confetti, those were
the two from the confetti.
This one's from the glitter pack.
Yeah, this is glitter.
I'm about to say.
Are you serious?
This is, this, this is glitter.
Uh- It's not glitter.
It's just from the glitter pack.
No, no, no.
I see that there's glitter on it.
It ha- it's got glitter.
Chase, what's the w- only rule
of the set of Good Mythical More?
This is the, this is the…
You broke the rule, guys.
I, uh, I don't know.
I haven't been here that long.
You broke the rule.
No glitter.
And- But this is glitter
contained- Be careful, be careful
contained in a crayon.
Is it getting on us?
Yeah, but, but we're releasing it.
Isn't that just for Good Mythical Morning?
No.
Oh.
It's f- it's for this facility.
Okay.
All right.
We're learning something.
We're learning together.
This facility- Link's really upset right
now … is a glitter-free facility.
We're, we're pro-goose poop, but
con- All the goose poop you can take
glitter.
Absolutely we are.
Um, unicorn poop making into- I think this
is, uh- … a birthday child's third house.
I think this is Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
Because it's blue like the ocean,
but- Shiny … then there's a
lot of little shiny pieces in it.
Hmm.
I stand by that.
Are they c- are they cleaning that up?
What's the progress on that?
Do you know why the ocean is blue?
Because of the sky.
Yeah.
So I would focus there instead.
Oh.
But b- before we move on to
that- Why is the sky blue?
Because the o- Somebody check in on this,
because there was a guy that I thought did
a Kickstarter years ago where he was trying
to clean up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
He had some little, uh, robot that
was going around and doing it.
There was that- And the other thing
is a lot of people thought that the
garbage patch was so thick that if,
like, you could, like, walk on it.
But really it's, there's space
in between all the trash.
It's, like, gathered in there, but,
like, you could swim through it, so
it's even harder to clean up- Hmm
than you would think.
I thought there was a thing that- It's like
a soup … they put something on it that,
like, um, like amino acids or something.
They, they, they invented, I think they-
That would eat it … genetically engineered
a new bacteria that would eat the plastic.
Yes.
And that's the beginning
of a dystopian novel.
So where are we at on that?
Yeah.
Because I heard about that,
and I don't hear about a lot.
Link's been hearing about things, guys.
I know.
Man.
So that means you should be
able to find them pretty quick.
Right.
If I've heard of it.
Chase?
Yes.
We need another hint.
Okay.
So, um- Starry Night Is it fantastical?
Starry Night is, it's not fantastical.
Eh, maybe it kind of is.
One of those days where you can see the
moon when it's daytime, and you can't really
explain it because you aren't gonna figure
it out on your own- … and you're not
really gonna take the time to look it up.
Yeah.
That's the name of this crayon.
Think about, yeah, looking up at,
at the celestial bodies and, um,
you have no idea what they are,
so you're trying to describe them.
Celestial bodies would be a good prom theme.
Oh.
You know, if you're just leaning into it.
Or- Just leaning into it … it's
like, "Oh, you've entered my
gravitational orbit." Celestial bodies.
I've been working on my
celestial body for prom.
Oh.
Sounds like a s- Comets … a, a noddle.
Noddle … comet How would you describe
it, like, if you didn't, you couldn't
describe- Shooting … if you didn't know
meteor, comet- Shooting star … star.
You're just like- Shooting
star … shiny sky rocks.
Blink.
It's a, a blank in the blank.
Twinkle in the sky.
Twinkle in the air.
It's something in the sky.
Twinkle in the sky.
Fire in the sky.
Fire in the sky.
Fire in the sky.
Fire in the sky.
What's the update on that, um,
Great Pacific Garbage Patch?
I've got an update for you.
Yes.
Uh, it was around 2019.
Yeah.
And, um, that's about all I've found.
No, I mean- Oh, so it didn't really follow up
it, it, there was, there was
a, a crowdfunding thing for it.
Um, but I don't know
what the update is on it.
What about the bacteria?
Bacteria eating the great garbage patch.
Yeah, that hasn't popped up yet.
I'll keep looking.
Okay.
I think it ju- uh, just look out for-
Ooh, this is another glitter … bac-
engineered bacteria- Come on, guys
e- eating plastic No, no, no.
This is from the metallic pack.
Okay.
This is metallic?
It's from the metallic pack.
Well, I'ma tell you-
Ooh … it's still glitter.
I like this.
It's just more glitter.
I like this.
There's so much … They be … I
mean, yeah, glitter is just metal
that you take through a little shaver.
When we were kids, our ice cream
and our crayons didn't have mix-ins.
Mm-mm.
Nope.
All right?
I mean, y- y'all got everything now.
And you're still complaining.
And you don't even, you don't even care.
No, I'll be honest, you
got lots to complain about.
But you do have mix-ins in your crayons.
But mix-ins isn't one of them.
It's, it's, it's got a
fluorescent yellow metal.
I mean, it's almost like
Oh, I know what this is.
This is, took a lot of
vitamins and then peed.
Oh, yeah.
Vitamin B. Yep.
Vitamin P. That is incorrect.
Vitamin BP, brought to
you by British Petroleum.
That's a good one, though.
The fact that this one comes out
of the metallic pack can lead
you to part of the name here.
Gold rush- Nope
fever.
Something that is, uh, made of metal.
You, you take a multivitamin,
I noticed that, right?
Yeah.
I noticed that when we were recently-
You don't think that's good enough?
… uh, living together dur- You want
the vitamins … dur- during a
secret thing that we were working on.
Yes.
You want the vitamins to
be separate, don't you?
Well, no, uh, I think a multivitamin's great.
I, in fact, I think a multivitamin … I'm
getting ready to travel a little bit, and
I have so many vitamins that I was like,
"I need to just do a multivitamin when I
travel," because I get … I c- I, I can't
recreate what I take with a multivitamin,
but taking a multivitamin is much better
than, and more convenient, than trying
to take everyth- I can't take everything.
Last time I took all my supplements-
Yeah … I was going into Mexico.
Okay.
And I got, um- randomly stopped Mm-hmm And
the guy made me tell him every single pill
that I had, because I just had this giant
thing of pills, which could've been anything.
And he was, like, asking me about every
pill, and I was like, "Magnesium?"
Like, I- I was like, "I don't know. I've
kind of got 'em divided up in…" But
I wanted to remain very confident the
whole time, 'cause I didn't wanna, like,
spend the night in prison, you know?
So you've got, so you fixed your posture.
I've read, uh, what is that?
Something Abroad?
Locked Up Abroad?
I read that, and by that,
I mean I've watched it.
Uh, so anyway, multivitamin,
it's the way to go.
What happened?
Did they confiscate?
Uh, he, he kind of just looked at
me, and then he let me keep going.
Hmm, 'cause you looked confident.
Looked confident.
All right, what do you wanna know
about the plastic-eating microbe?
I wanna know what the status is.
They're doing it.
Oh, thank God.
Are they doing it?
I'll be right back.
So what- Okay, so for the- What do we know?
We know that it's golden.
It's a, it's a metal Yeah, so there's part of
this that you can think about metal things.
All right.
And then for the other part- Gaudy sports
car … think about a, mm, no, one word
One word, shavings
No.
But it's, but it's, but, but
the yellow part makes sense?
The yellow part is more connected to, like,
an animal that is, uh, close to this color.
Oh, shiny giraffe.
Uh, parakeet?
Sparkly.
Parakeet's close.
Metal parakeet.
That's, yeah, you're, that's, like, basically
kind of a synonym to what we're looking for.
Oh, metal parakeet synonym.
Um- Parrot?
If it was a metal parakeet, what would it be?
It would be… Oh, it would be shiny bird.
Shiny cockatiel.
But if it was metal, then it probably
wouldn't be, like, a, a living s- bird.
It would be- Bird statue.
Dodo bird.
Imagine, imagine it was, um-
You could, it was, it
had its own, uh, autonomy
and it could move around and-
Oh … had, like, gears and things.
Robot bird.
Yeah.
So what kind of bird?
It's robot something.
Robot chicken.
Robot parrot.
It's not chicken.
It's… Uh, think about other yellow birds.
Robot duck.
I don't know any other yellow bird.
R- robot canary.
Robot canary.
Ooh, you do know a yellow bird.
Speaking of shi- Robot canary?
Speaking of shiny birds, one of the things
I heard the kids are doing now is they're,
uh, they're glossing up their, their birds.
They're glossing up their middle
fingers so they shine in photos.
What?
Yeah.
Yes.
The whole, the whole f- Yes.
They will sh- … digit?
They will shine up their middle
finger to make it pop Like, with what?
I don't know.
Make-up?
Vaseline.
I don't know.
All kinds of things.
Is it, is it just greasy?
If it's Vaseline, it will
pop out real fast, too.
Pshew.
Pops out.
Y- dude.
You believe that?
I believed you.
'Cause kids'll do anything.
Uh.
Greasing up your middle- That's the kind
of thing, when I was in middle school and
high school- When you st- when you start
to make sense of- … I would convince
everybody to do something like that.
Th- that's why I almost became a cult leader.
Because when I realized that you could
tell a number of people, "Y'all, we
gotta start greasing our birds up,"
and they would be like, "Really?"
And I'd be like, "Yeah, look," and I
would start talking about the advantages
of it, and next thing you know, next
day everybody's greasing their birds.
So I'm just saying it sounds fun.
Maybe you should try it, you know?
I mean, we just came up with it here.
We don't know that it's not
fun to grease your bird.
Next crayon.
That's not right, is it?
That's not how… I
didn't do something right.
If you're a cartoon, that's
how you flip the bird.
What?
But I, I guess I put- 'Cause you
put your, 'cause you put your thumb
in there … I put five fingers.
What if- No.
You, no.
That's his thumb.
Which, which one is his thumb?
Look.
We have to censor that?
Yeah.
I think we do, yeah.
Why?
'Cause it's a lewd gesture.
It's a finger.
It's a finger, guys.
All right.
I'll censor it.
I'll censor it like this.
All right.
You're getting in the vibes- This
one's still got glitter in it!
… of this color.
This is all, it's just, it's
just from the metal pack.
Hold on.
This is very much like the other one.
I mean, y'all need to loosen interference.
I mean, robot canary.
No, that one's glitter.
So now this is, uh,
th- this is, like… What, what's
the… Like, low air quality index.
You know, you got particulates in your air
On the don't go out if you have asthma color?
Yeah.
Which is technically a high index.
High index.
High air quality index is what this is.
No.
I would think about, um- Ooh.
That's nice … something you're wearing.
I don't know if either of you are
wearing it now, but- Tasteful brooch.
You're wearing one of those right now?
Yeah.
I'm- Smell, smell it compared to the
yellow … I don't wanna touch my face
with this 'cause it's got glitter in it.
Well, just don't, just put it close.
I don't wanna put it close.
It has a nice smell.
The glitter will jump to my face.
I kinda wanna eat it.
You know what I'm saying?
Sometimes the- … the crayon
has a smell you wanna eat.
You talk about glitter like it's fleas.
Yeah, it is.
He's, he's allergic to it.
You can't get rid of it.
It's infectious.
Lice.
It shows up where you don't want it.
It's like lice.
You just take a pill once
a month, you're good.
Glitter is the lice of the art world.
It is, it is v- yeah, very
lice adjacent, for sure.
So you would wear this.
Yes.
But, um, oh, this is rhinestone blue jeans.
Not rhinestone.
Denim.
But jeans.
It is, it is in the jeans world.
Jeans.
Oh, faded jeans.
Uh- But they're metallic … close to faded.
Another thing that kids are doing
now, lice is like a badge of honor.
Yeah, yeah, you, you want it now.
And y- You want to be the first one to
get lice and then spread it to everybody.
And you don't give it,
you don't get rid of it?
No, you want, you want it.
You keep it.
They're making their middle finger shiny.
Like, like a pet.
Like sea monkeys.
Ev- all the kids have shiny middle
fingers and all kinds of lice.
But when you started to make sense of
it, like, so that it's quicker to flick,
that's when I knew you were lying.
But if they just did it for, like,
photos, and it, it … When you said it
was Vaseline and not makeup, you lost me.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
So when I lie to someone else
about this- Yeah, you need to
say- Let me get the perfect lie
it's, it's like- Hey, you hear the
kids are shining up their fingers?
They're middle fingers,
so they pop in photos now.
And it's like they use, um, what's the
metallic blush makeup stuff called?
Highlighter.
They use highlighter.
Highlighter?
They use, like, makeup highlighter.
And it's a cool analog thing that kids
are doing now because it looks like
something you could easily do as a
little AI edit in your photos- Mm-hmm
but they're all against that.
Right.
And so now they're just
popping them off for real.
Mm-hmm.
It's all about r- the reality, the
real stuff, you know what I mean?
But they're not lubing their middle fingers.
No, who would ever think that?
No.
I mean, they're doing that, but that's
not something they're taking pictures of.
That's a different thing, and
they're doing that in Dunn.
Remember that?
In Dunn?
The stuff we heard the
kids in Dunn were doing.
Oh, yeah.
'Cause that was where the
interstate came through.
Crack capital.
So everything came to Dunn first
before it got to Buies Creek
I'm looking into these bio things Yeah, yeah.
Don't let us down.
I hope it's happening.
It seems like they're working on it.
And then they're gonna unleash
them in the oceans- Maybe they
don't- … and it's gonna save us all.
Do they need funding?
Yeah.
It is, like, you know, like, um, companies
like Ocean Blue Project and stuff,
like, if we wanted to have this going
right now, we could as, like, a country.
But I think, like, you know, they're
not getting the support they need.
Yeah, we don't wanna do
that yet as a country.
People are wary.
They don't want us just to unleash
a bunch of bacteria into the ocean.
All right, Chase.
Send us off.
What's the answer?
Something jeans.
Yeah, think about, like, a old
school marbled jeans, '90s.
Bling jeans.
W- um, acid wash jeans.
Acid wash jeans.
Boom.
