Is Taco Bell chaotic good? Welcome to Good Mythical More. We've got all of these restaurants up here in this little bank. We've got a lot of McDonald's in my belly. Yeah, in my belly as well. How are you feeling? Probably about as much as I would typically get at McDonald's. If you think about the number of bites I would take, I used to get the, uh- Whew I would get the two cheeseburgers combo. So two single cheeseburgers. That's why you like the cheeseburger so much. Fries and a drink. I don't do that anymore. No dessert? I don't do a lot of fast food out. I do a lot of fast food in here. I mean, next time I go to McDonald's I'm gonna do, I'm gonna get the double cheeseburger meal. I just, I, I might just get a double cheeseburger. Get a double cheeseburger and walk out. Yeah, just, just… Walk away. Don't walk to the drive-through, though, 'cause they won't serve you. No, they won't. We've tried that. Gotta be in a car. Gotta be in a car. Gotta be in a car. Um- I thought I w- I thought I was a number one, a Big Mac guy, but now… The system here, here's my, here's what I am suggesting for the, for consideration here, is that in the consideration of these fast food joints, chaotic good would be somebody who's doing a bunch of crazy unexpected stuff, taking chances, c- new items all the time, but it's working. S- and then- Working chaotic evil is they're doing all that stuff and it's not working. Okay. And then on the lawful good side it would be, like, somebody who sticks to the basics and does them great. Lawful evil, somebody who sticks to the basics, but th- they're basically bad. Like they're just- All right … making, they're making bad food. So, so we're really throwing somebody, lawful evil is just, like, whoever, what we dislike the most. I just don't have a lot to say about Del Taco I don't know if I've ever made a choice to eat there. What's the good thing that you can say about Del Taco? Well, they're not… They're chaotic. I would say they're either neutral or chaotic because they have… Bring up the, bring up a, uh, Del Taco menu and just start reading off stuff, 'cause it's like they got things that you didn't expect. Oh, sit down. It's not, it's not, like, right down the middle. In-N-Out's not on here, but In-N-Out would be- So you're saying, like, chaotic evil … like lawful good because they've served, like, three things and they do it well. I just don't think they're… I don't know if they're as chaotic as a… Jack in the Box is chaotic. Jack in the Box, totally chaotic. Yeah. I mean, they got egg rolls. Le- yeah, lay this down. We don't… You don't have to hold that up. They got egg rolls, man. And they're so good. Dip them in ranch. But, but- I gotta tell you, though are, are they the best at taking chances? I don't know. Maybe we'll move it up, but we're, they're in the chaotic place. I just feel like we might move Del Taco to chaotic. We've made it very clear that we're not happy with Subway. Del Taco has a Jacked Up menu. Yep. Yeah, exactly. Which, meaning, that's like a section of the menu that says Jacked Up? Yeah, it's a whole section. Yeah, see. Oh, literally? Yeah. That has Pepper Jack? It's got Spicy Jack Chicken Quesadilla, mostly that. But it's n- so s- I g- yeah, I guess it meant Jack Cheese. I don't mind- But it's not Jack in the Box. But it's not Jack in the Box. It's Del Taco. It's- I don't mind taking chances, it's just they gotta be good. Subway, I mean, Subway'll do… They did those breads. But they're, they're… I think they're, I think that they are neutral evil. Neutral evil? I don't think that they take enough chances to be chaotic evil, but they are evil. Wendy's. Wendy's- Wendy's, it's g- they're good. They're good. They're good. They scoop good stuff. Yeah, we're, we're even… That, they might be true neutral. It might be just the most neutral restaurant. They try things, but we ignore that because- They try things, but it feels like Dave is sitting there with his arms crossed and being like- Like, "Ignore that." Yeah. "Just ignore that." Yes or no. "I'll, I'll let them make decisions- Pretzel bun but just ignore them." Popeyes P- Popeyes doesn't try too much. They don't try a whole lot. They got that chicken sandwich. But they made a, they made that big move with the chicken sandwich. Boy, I hope who- And they set an industry on fire … I hope whoever did that is, like, sitting on a beach in Aruba. You know? Uh- They deserve it. What you like about Aruba? Chicken sandwich inventors. Okay. It is at this moment that he realized- So this- … there were more restaurants than spaces. Oh, we can swap things out Who do you think is trying the hardest and doing the best? Davin. Probably Davin. Oh, Davin. It might be Jack in the Box. It might be Jack in the Box, 'cause Carl's Jr. also- They try so much … Carl's Jr. also tries a lot of things. They tried having a, a burrito place attached to them for a while. Yeah, needed a better name than Green Burrito. But I don't think it's bad. They seem really lawful to me. You think that they seem lawful? I think they try all kinds of things. They, they did the big, the… They were the ones that did the big burger first, and then put the- Yeah … sexy ladies in the commercial. It's r- they're taking chances, man. But, and they, but they take it on, like, a store level. They, like, rebrand themselves entirely. It's not like they're trying different, um, items. Frisco Burger. You, you hear what I'm saying, though? I… And I'm s- countering with Frisco Burger. I mean, okay, I think we've gotta go to the tape on this one. Can you bring up the Carl's Jr. menu and give us your assessment as to whether or not they try a lot of things? Because- On it … I feel like they do. They don't introduce a lot of things, I don't think. But they, they cha- but then they'll go through spells where they just change everything. I have opened up the menu, and immediately we have Spicy Chicken Max, Fiery Chicken Max Combo, Triple Berry Drinks. Yeah, see, g- I was right. Tell 'em, tell 'em how many X's are in Max. There's two X's. I think they're chaotic neutral. Oh, okay. Because they're doing a pretty good job. Yeah. But I don't think they're doing as good as Jack in the Box. They got a burger with tater tots on it. Gi- give me Panda Express. Panda Express has to be- They got a, a milkshake with tater tots in it? You wish. No, it's a, it's a, it's a breakfast burger. A breakfast burger with tater tots on it? Yeah. Yeah. That's crazy. They go, they go- Bacon and egg … they go chaotic for breakfast, so you're right. I think that Panda Express is definitely lawful. Yeah. They, they're not- Yeah. It's just- Yeah. I agree with you. The only thing they've done that's interesting- It's just bins of Chinese food … is those, those shrimp Now, if you put lawful evil, my wife's gonna be upset because she, I found out she loves Panda Express. Something has to go there. And Megan will be upset. 'Cause you like it too. I do. You can get a pretty healthy meal there and still, and walk away feeling pretty good. And you can tell them, "I want double carbs instead." I'll get fried rice and lo mein noodles Oh, gosh And they just have to listen to me Man Okay. KFC. And when you order, it is double carbs. Well, it's that, they do- Does that make you feel better about it or? No. I don't feel good about myself afterwards. Oh. In the moment though it's great. Yeah. KFC, hmm, they did the bowls. Lawful. They did the bowls, but- But that's it … they haven't done a whole, they don't get too crazy. They did that popcorn chicken at one time. Uh- I just think that- Are they lawful, neutral or lawful good? Yeah, I think this is what we have to do because the chicken tastes so good. Okay, Five Guys. Like, there's nothing irresistible about Panda Express. I'm not gonna argue with you. There's, there's something on the menu at KFC that's irresistible, and it's the chicken. Five Guys is lawful without a doubt, right? 'Cause they're kinda like, "We do burgers and fries," and there's potatoes all around, right? Yeah. You think it's chaotic inside? Peanuts on the floor. There's peanuts everywhere. The peanuts on the floor. But that's it. They, that, that's their idea of chaos? Yeah. Peanuts on the floor. You gotta have something going wrong. Yeah. I think they're evil. That's just, that's not real ka- that's not menu chaos. And just- That's in the line chaos … and just because we tried McDonald's just a moment ago, I think that they, first of all, I think that they are neutral in terms of how often they bring something in. Yeah. They're not crazy and they're not- You know what? We- we're all over the place with Panda Express. Let's get rid of it. You don't wanna make Jessie upset. Megan, we gotta get her back on track. Well, I'm not gonna put McDonald's there. Should I off track? You're so upset. I'm not upset. Well, we put it down there. I'm upset. You said you'd be upset too. Yeah, I would. Do you feel like McDonald's is right in the same spot as Wendy's, or do you feel like they're neutral good? I think that they're, I think that they're lawful. I think that… Lawful, okay. Lawful meaning that? I think they're right in here. That seems about right to me. They don't try too much. I, I would swap Five Guys and Panda Express if it were me. Why? I hate Five Guys. Really? It's just a personal opinion. I think their fries suck. What if it was just four? Hm? The burgers are so good and they're so customizable. Eh. Doesn't sound like voring. I like Taco Bell and I think that they, they try a lot, but they, but it's all a, a sleight of hand because they're not trying anything new 'cause it's all the same ingredients. So they might move some stuff over here, wrap it up, throw it in something, but it's still the same stuff. So it's technically still neutral. Hm. I mean, still, it's pr- it's actually pretty lawful, and I think it's… I actually think it's in here. I think it's almost lawful good. That's how I feel about Taco Bell. So we've placed everything. Lawful neutral. Uh, Hooters. Okay. Now, th- this is chaotic. We know that already, but they're trying to rebrand it and make Hooters not be Hooters anymore. How's it chaotic? Be- because there's boobies flying around? Boobies everywhere. What, what are they rebranding it to? Uh, I think it's family boobies now. Boobies are for everyone. What they've done is they've rebranded so Hooters is now just a nursing station. I swear to you that I thought there was a rebrand in action here. I want- Whatever … I need some confirmation. Um, they have changed. I like the, uh, outfits better this time. I mean, when I worked there, we had, like, a 16-step, like, list of how to greet and interact with tables. It was insane. Although, I will say when I was there, we also had a strict no tattoos policy. We had to wear our hair down. Um, what was another weird rule? And, and those tights. The tights. Oh, we could only, we could order free food as long as it was the lower calorie options, like salads and stuff. If we wanted a high calorie meal, we'd have to pay ourself. But we'd get a 50% discount. All right. So you know what? I'm giving you lots of things. Just moving back down. I did a couple swimsuit competitions. It's fine, y'all. Nothing wrong with that. That was my 20s. Listen, I was probably 15 years old when somebody took me to Hooters for the first time, and I thought that all older women just had- He was 16 … s- such smooth legs. The guy who took him. I didn't know what tights were. And I was like, "Man, this is what's gonna happen to all the girls' legs? They're gonna get a little bit dark and a little bit smooth." You see what happens to a speed round when you get to Hooters? Uh, sorry. Texas Roadhouse- Okay, Cracker Barrel … Cracker Barrel, Applebee's. Listen, Cracker Barrel had the whole- Buca di Beppo. They had the… That's horrible. Chaotic evil. They had the whole branding thing, and then they undid it, and it came- Cheesecake Factory … went back up. But let me tell you right now, every time I go to Cracker Barrel, the food is absolutely amazing. I love it. It's in the good category. I learned recently that Cracker Barrel tastes worse in the South, according to my southern friends. Just in comparison to the other cuisine around you, yes. I, I think they just try less 'cause they know that they're not- Yeah … gonna compete. That makes sense to me. Um, Rhe- I, I put Cheesecake Factory at chaotic good. I like that choice. Chaotic neutral, are we talking Chili's? No, Chili's- They're not chaotic. I think Chili's is true neutral. True neutral? This is gonna be very controversial right now. I'm sure Texas Roadhouse isn't… Olive Garden- We don't have LongHorn out here … Texas Roadhouse, P.F. Chang's. Applebee's Yeah. Jenna's cat's name is Applebee. That's true. Okay, well- Because of Applebee's … that's not what's, that's not what we're judging here. My cat's name is Cracker Barrel. And mine is Panda Express. Oh, gosh. PF Chang's. I still like PF Chang's. Mongolian beef. It's kinda lawful neutral I feel like I'm not gonna disagree with that. I don't know. I just know that Buca di Beppo, I just don't like it. I don't know if it's chaotic neutral or lawful evil. I mean, when you put boobs into the mix, I think we're off of lawful, you know? Yeah. I mean, I don't know. If we're talking of what type of carnal knowledge, uh, goes into my mind. It's not the lawful type. It's the unlawful. Unlawful type. Okay So we even did that We know it's evil But evil in a good way. If, unless, unless you disagree Lawful evil. Hmm. Do they still have, do the waiters all still wear, wear all the, uh, bling bling? We don't know if that's true or not. We think maybe they did. I want to get rid of Windy's- We have to say things like that because of legal things … and I want to, I want to put, I want to put Olive Garden at lawful good We, Olive Garden's good. We had it, we had it on the show that one time- Yeah … we were in that car trying to eat while on the move. Remember that? 'Cause Den- It was good … Denny's does crazy things with their menu to get you coming back. I think they could go chaotic neutral. Red Lobster, man, they're having trouble. You hear about the trouble they're having? They, they came up with a special that was, like, all you can eat shrimp or something, and people ate all the shrimp. Man, they- I mean, that sounds like a joke, but it's true. They ate all the shrimp and it- Really? … it ruined them. Yeah. It ruined them. Yeah. Man, that's the risk you take. It's sad. Somebody, somebody did a bad business case, didn't they? Yeah, but everybody showed up for it. That's pretty cha- I mean, that's pretty cha- It's a, it's a chaotic move … that is chaotic. I like the… Cheddar Bay Biscuits, man. That's not evil. It's at least neutral. Oh, yeah. There can be two. And then Texas Roadhouse I think we're gonna put down here at, uh, lawful neutral.
