oh me oh me broccoli it’s messy when you eat it like that look at that mmm do you think you’re like I’m not gonna eat after you not not for the sake of anybody’s comedy am I gonna eat that broccoli after you that’s what you think it have any my teeth uh-huh you have it all in your beard yeah I’m gonna wash up later oh man okay so now I will say one thing going on 20 years 20 years I’ve had a saying and I think that you’re familiar with this thing beans beans good for your heart specifically related to broccoli what do I always say about broccoli never what never turned down never turn out an opportunity to eat raw broccoli I’ve said it for 20 years and you may think I’m crazy but I’ve said it because it any still good for you broccoli is so good for you that I made a decision a long time ago that if I’m in a buffet if I’m in a salad bar if I’m at some place and they’d have broccoli raw I’m always going to eat some of it because you should never pass up an opportunity to raw broccoli because it’s just like it’s so good for you and it doesn’t taste good that’s why you put ranch on it or cheese on it hmm or douse it in a soup but do you know what my mom used to do got it right there man you really just need just don’t look to make eye contact yeah always looking at cheek when you’re talking my mom came up with an idea well no she got this from Kathy Hall remember the halls now do ya chalky Hall would mix mayonnaise and mustard together and put it on broccoli and it makes this a tangy creamy delightful thing you can do that you can do cheese you can do I mean there’s so many ways to make it good let’s write another commercial right now about all the ways to make it good mustard and what I think you should say something like we all know that broccoli doesn’t taste good but do you have any mustard in your fridge do you have any mayonnaise in your pantry yeah do you have any brains in your skull how about then mix it together how about this we all know the broccoli tastes bad but if you can find two random condiments to mix up everything will be different broccoli making everything different since 1982 when it broccoli come out before before night Thomas Jefferson brought it over for France here’s it hmm here’s another thing seriously that really yeah totally you know that potatoes as the president the president back in the day when Thomas Jefferson was running things it was his job to bring in vegetables into the new world I’ve got broccoli still called it the new world Oh seriously that’s what that’s what happened Colin I don’t doubt that that’s a fact but I will say we were talking earlier about this there are several vegetables cauliflower Brussels sprouts and the number of them that I can’t name right are all broccoli it’s all the same thing it just shows you the potential for genetic diversity within a genome that’s what you get for sticking around right you’re learning something that’s what you get okay for sticking around okay
