in Berkeley California is competing for the illustrious Auto XPrize with a car that runs on wood chips huh does it burn them how does it process the power it does not it um it soaks them in water I’m totally making this up now and then it expands you know when wood expands in the water that’s they they’re gonna harness the power of expanding wood chips to power a car I highly doubt that that’s how it works that’s my idea yeah I’m sorry I don’t know how these things work but I’m told that they do because it’s written here styrofoam cups you know I I am gonna tell sorry if I have styrofoam cups to fuel cars well if I have a Styrofoam cup I do feel guilty about it because it seems like there’s nothing you can do with it but I do think you can’t put it in the recycle bin for years I didn’t think you can in some places like here you can’t yeah and I don’t know if you probably can now in North Carolina but just a couple couple years ago you could not put styrofoam into your recycling in North Carolina according to Robert Malloy of the University of Massachusetts used polystyrene coffee cups will make a great fuel component polystyrene used to make disposable foam plates and cups is very lightweight but also bulky so it’s difficult and expensive to send out for recycling huh but what it again did they burn it because I’ve thrown a Styrofoam cup into a campfire before and everybody got sick um I don’t want I don’t want that kind of exhaust coming out of my tailpipe then no I know I think it uh I think that you just I have no clue oh you’re gonna face it like Lily crushes it I was going to try something and the power of the crushing um the car lastly uh hydrogen using hydrogen to power this with it this one is very legitimate the green GT h2 is a race car powered by hydrogen fuel cell basically a battery with hydrogen in it this thing goes 186 miles an hour does have a dog in it it it goes got two dogs in it no it has nothing to do with the dog but it um it was gonna be in the 2013 LeMans which is a race LeMans what how do you say it I’m a Lamaze class Lamaze that’s where the women met rate for pregnancy get ready for birth it is a 24-hour race thank you very much and just think about it using hide your basically using water half of water the only byproduct of this thing’s battery is that it creeps water vapor right but pretty beautiful thing but they go on you till the hour they use electricity I’ve read up on my hydrogen fuel cells before they use electricity to make the hydrogen that goes into the hydrogen fuel cells and cells and that takes power electrolysis of water and so they use like coal and fossil fuels so really all comes down to solar really that’s what I mean the solar car I don’t know about that but why can’t we just create enough electricity using solar power and then you could store it in all these batteries and do all this stuff with it horses I’m going with the air compressed thing or the dog everybody wants a dog everybody needs a dog it helps with allergies the kids like it and you could just run in a circle and power your whole life I don’t know people with animal welfare people would feel about that but dogs love to run they like to get out hey Stevie’s got a dog which would you put your dog into your car and let him power be there just look that aside ethically you keep throwing a ball well
