exist but you can we need my horn you combine okay uh I am really into haunted houses and but I will also say that I’ve hardly ever been to any because nope my experience at least the people that I have decided to walk through this life together with that being my wife and Link are not into scary movies or haunted houses and so I don’t do either a lot and but I always have been sing about scared I’ve always liked the idea of them and when we found out that there was gonna be a haunted house in Fuquay Varina North Carolina where we used to live this is probably going back five years so Locke was probably about five years old I would talk about it I’d be like oh they’re getting a haunted house and Fuquay Varina it’s gonna be in the old Belk I remember that they Belk they shut down that Belk we would say Belk belts they shut down the belt but I got a hothouse Internet here there’s some there’s some creepy ladies with perfume like are you aunty diecast fish with it Belk themed a like department store theme you kind of tell it was Roosevelt wrestling strain on you you should getting into different cow the main reason you could tell it was the old Belk is because it had Belk still up on the side of the house out of the building right so anyway um I’ve been talking about this Belk themed haunted house why just do that Michael I’m a cotton okay does this matter in there I didn’t want you to see that I wanted you to drink I was almost got long distance didn’t okay anyway II to be scared so I was talking about this haunted house as I do build things up and get people excited about things and so luck gets that he’s kind of like dad I think I want to go to this haunted house you know because I’ve made it seem like an amazing thing and I’m like are you sure about this you know five years old then we find out that some friends of ours are involved in this and including their children and so then I find out that some of the kids are actually on the thing like a friend it’s like one year older than luck is on the is on the to dock in the haunted house he’s a he’s working it he’s playing a role he’s a cast member yeah maybe he was like seven years old at the time so maybe two years older than life and I’m like okay well this kid I got a seven-year-old involved this can’t be based at the Belk yeah yeah spooky clothes so we show up to this haunted house and I’m like having I’m having a blast just thinking about we’re going through this thing but I look at luck and he’s just got this look on his face like he’s freezing up before we even get in there he’s thinking about not gonna like not come on let’s just do it you got it you got a man up and you got to do this kind of thing for five-year-old um so we get into the haunted house and it’s just your typical run by middle schoolers kind of haunted house like nobody’s gonna get hurt there’s not a whole lot going on it’s just kind of people jumping I’ll blame no one’s gonna get hurt yeah and you know you’re not gonna get any fluids on here anything no waiver to be signed here but he’s holding on to my hand and he’s holding on to my am very very tightly as we walk through this thing and then as we’re walking through I just realized that he just he didn’t want to stop and look at it he just looking straight ahead and there’s not a whole lot going on then we go through the whole thing like three quarters of the way through what were they doing it’s just like oh you go into this room and there’s a guy there’s a guy like looking like he’s in a wheel chair dead or something like that you know stuff stuff like that but then we get to the operating room and they have Andrew Locke’s friend is on Saturn gyro he’s on the operating table screaming and the doctor is pulling his intestines out like really I was like all right up in the game here develop on it house and luck is like dead dad Leif dad Leif dad look he is not I’m like it’s Andrew and Andrews like kind of like looking at looking at locking kind of like smiling while you screaming cuz he’s like that’s my buddy yeah and like was not having any of him we had to rush out dad leave dad leave dad leave I also leave I also leave and so we haven’t been back to a haunted house together hmm but he’s still in tree still in tree treatment he’s yet intrigued by it like five years when we went to the we were walking around the old zoo and saw them behind the scenes to the haunted hayride he was like dad can we go to this you think we could go to this and I was like good luck if you go I don’t you couldn’t handle that one a few years back I mean he is older but I just think he’ll be super scared and I’ll be thinking about it my neighborhood back home had a few houses that went way too all out for Halloween and I mean like the front yard no like in the two-car garage they would open garage and they made their own little mini walk through haunted house in their own garage and they had like hung up dividers so you could see that people were like essing through and then exiting through the like the back door of the garage they liked the side door so like the whole time you’re walking through you’re like see all these like shimming feet in front of you that was kind of spooky yeah my kids hated it I did take my kids in that one I wasn’t afraid of that one but um good for you Lincoln wouldn’t go in I know Lincoln wouldn’t but Lily wouldn’t go it and there was tears involved I don’t think the Shepherd would actually be scared of any of it what happened was halfway through um yeah it was I think Lincoln he hit the deck and this crawled straight back out of a out of the garage through like everyone’s legs because the dividers didn’t go all the way to the floor is like this is my exit I got a way out didn’t like but when we were in ok it’s the same thing with roller coasters which we both like roller coasters but for me the thing is it’s the same reason I watch horror movies I’ve explained this before is I know I mean I haven’t been to anything as stream as what we talked about the episode so I feel like you could actually get hurt I’m not into getting hurt right but the what if you’re ready enough to participate in something like that like to be one of the cast members you’re you you’re crazy might go too far right you might so but like Jim went too far II he burnt that guy you’re red right rugburn Buies Creek uh inside the locker room though it was like I knew that it was a my friends in there are like older students and I knew that they just were gonna I was like what are they gonna do this year oh this year they’ve made eyeballs out of grapes now was I act was I scared would I run out when I scream yeah but it was like you’re screaming and then laughing at the same time that seems fun do you seem like they’re probably going too far but you know you be did you but but what were you thinking I’m what I’m getting at is what was your perspective when you saw it were you just like I don’t I might actually get hurt in there as I’ve said before I don’t like to play hide and seek with my own kids cuz I don’t like the moment of them scaring me like I just don’t like the feeling of moat as buddy Rhett I got over sit ups if you want to roll that back in slow motion the reaction was about a second late it was like you think their reaction was like it seemed like like I was back before you guys cuz you knew you were gonna do it for like a minute ahead of time oh not funny at all man
