dear demon eraser we are two middle-aged men who have never played Dungeons and Dragons because we were not allowed to as kids would you consider being our consultant and soul Guardian to protect us during our first ever game kind regards Rhett and Link I do not think that many parents are aware what’s inside the game in fact in my presentation I show many pictures from the inside the books just to show the images of this game I mean the gruesomeness of this game and the Occult link to it well I know that when I have letter after letter where people took the pieces now there’s sixes involved in the pieces of the game but they take the pieces of the game they would throw them in the incinerator or the fireplace and screams would come out because there seemed to be some kind of spiritual forces inhabiting those pieces and the pieces include white witches Wizards necromancers the the clerics that type of thing it includes evil wizards it’s a white versus black Witchcraft and Anton LaVey the writer of Satanist Bible says there is no such thing as white witchcraft this is the world that we grew up in a world where we were afraid to play Dungeons and Dragons and and we don’t really believe in that stuff anymore but we’re still kind of freaked out by the concept of demons and I think that the algorithm the internet algorithms including the tick tock algorithm knows that I’m intrigued by this stuff and I’m still kind of freaked out by it because I keep getting served these videos of demon stuff and exorcism I don’t get served any of this stuff because I I always just click away too too quickly I guess I go down those rabbit holes and that’s how I found out about demon eraser is Al Roker from USA Today a clone or possibly demon possess demons go to church demons Love Church demons can say the name of Jesus I don’t know where the misconception is but a lot of Christians think you can’t have demons because you’re a Christian you have the Holy Spirit in you again my belief is Satan doesn’t want you to know the truth about demons and the Book of Enoch reveals a lot about demons the etymology of the word makeup means to collect together into one form sounds a little bit like demonic possession doesn’t it why do you think our language is called spelling other languages do not drive their vocabulary words from witchcraft terms so he’s a demonologist which explains why he talks so much about demons but he is also an exorcist he just doesn’t post his exorcisms on his Tick Tock they’re private but what he does do is he has a website and he has a form on it where you can solicit his Services which made it really convenient and easy to uh solicit his services and he got back to us really quickly and said that he was open to providing the service for us but we also found out that he’s just right up the road his like headquarters is right up the road in Bakersfield [Music] you say hello hello I bet you that’s a secret door press if you’re confused hold on I think this is I believe this is like it is like an escape it is freaking Escape putting wisdom in its place is the key to the space putting wisdom in its place yeah so okay down from somewhere what’s he gonna do oh my goodness welcome it takes a minute I think you want to drop down on demons from above it’s kind of like a a cat mentality right oh my gosh Brian thanks for having us yeah is uh is this how people normally make their way in you know um pretty much every day it’s the in the thinking chair you know you got to try it though sorry it makes those noises naturally it’s a braided cable don’t worry it’s not gonna break it’s kind of like a playland in there yeah what is this place you know this is a this is uh my studio um you know I’m actually uh not just somebody that prays and casts out demons I’m actually a product developer and an inventor you’re an exorcist and an inventor yeah yep yes exactly so is demon erasers is it a conglomerate demon erasers is just me and I have a few other people to work with me and then we we pray for people and help people and it’s and it’s free and it’s free yeah it’s free We’re not gonna charge it really it’s God’s word man so Judy when when what it’s automatic wind chime oh it’s not a demon okay not a demon it’s not a demon I don’t even remember when I was what I was thinking Brian could talk about demons all day like weird stuff happens when people have demons showing up because like you’re not in control of your body oh man anxiety oh I just I just need a cigarette burn me another offering human the Demon’s sitting there like give me another one when you smoke cigarettes you are burning an offering to something you just don’t know what it is people are unaware of how many things are demonic like dead Jesus on a wall I prayed for a dude who had a demon and this house is full of crosses and the demon in him said look look at the crosses don’t you see we killed them these creatures actually this is these are giants and people think these things are make-believe Nikola Tesla literally created a radio that he was hearing voices speaking another language that he didn’t understand when there was no other radios in the world people are like oh I’ve got this disorder and this chemical reaction and this yeah addiction is a chemical yeah it’s a demon that’s the effect of what demons are J.R Tolkien and C.S Lewis they’ve told you that they’re Christian people and they are giving you Christian stuff like everything about their writings was actually Distortion of what was really going on in the truth the truth is those things those creatures elves and all that stuff I actually probably existed I’m a big Lord of the Rings fan I’m just going to be honest so I like I have some Elvish oh yeah it’s demonic writing actually I have a tattoo but it’s just of the Voyager space probe questionable are there any tools of the trade as it relates to the demonic stuff that are here that you do utilize in the day-to-day demon erasing just the word of God in your mouth that’s it so not this no not the printer The copier printer no I do use this sometimes because this is um an arm Cannon flamethrower and a high-powered taser um so no thank you this this is pretty fun so you can just like when you shoot giant Fireballs out and you use this on the demons well you know demonic things demonic items items that links have you know well I don’t know about that one but you know you know if you have some stuff that’s demonic you know we’ll light it on fire we’ll burn it he doesn’t seem scared of demons you know what I mean like he has he completely believes in him he believes that they are he seems obsessed with it very ever present but he’s not like freaked out about it so it kind of gives you this calm sort of there’s almost like a Serene feeling it’s just like hey they’re everywhere but they’re not that big of a deal as long as I’m here I’ve had to pray for a person who had a cross so I had a brain tumor we ended up praying for him he smashed the cross necklace instantly healed the demon left him yeah oh yeah they like crosses well what do they not like you know like the coexist uh bumper sticker I see swords are they not like swords you know this is part of my previous life where I was like into weapons and uh I’m uh actually like martial arts type person this part made sense to me you’re demon erasing you you could use a little nunchuck action num Chuck that’s nunchuck nunchuck and why does that make sense to you why do you think that demons are afraid of nunchucks because I was I don’t think that that has anything to do with I mean would you have demons would you have tried to possess him at that moment so when you exercise a demon cast them out when you cast out the demon you don’t post that stuff on Tick Tock no no so you like you keep it private yeah um but can we see something he certainly has seen some things this girl had an allergic reaction ate peanut butter chocolate chip cookies but if somebody put pecans in them I was like when have you been how don’t you have your EpiPen like she’s like well I’ve only been allergic like this for the last two years and I was like last two years I’m like what happened when you got allergic she’s like well I went to the hospital for something else and demons love to hang out at hospitals she got a peanut demon she got a peanut allergy demon but a nut allergy demon and so we end up casting it out she ends up like basically almost throwing up like he even like that like started to come out and then finally the demon left her and this is this is her like going back to the cookies after the demon left her which is insane [Music] she’s completely healed from her allergic reaction she thought was an allergic reaction may we have any head spinning stuff or is that just movies that’s just movies but I have had an experience like that I felt like we were starting to build rapport and that we could get into the task at hand which is figuring out this Dungeons and Dragons stuff have you ever played Dungeons and Dragons um I’ve never played it uh I’ve I’ve gotten I’ve had a lot of friends that played it though growing up so I had I know quite a bit about it there had been a number of things that went through your mind when we sent the form and approached you and said we want to come here right so it’s like I just kind of take it as God’s directing my path in some way I’m kind of just riding the wave I’m just like hey whatever God you want to do go go for it do we have to believe everything you’re telling us in order to benefit from your protection when playing Dungeons and Dragons probably not so we’re going to be in this space uh you know uh in in you know this our creative house we call it yeah we’ve got the people coming in there to kind of lead us through this sort of uh embodying other people right you like play a role yeah so like that based on some of the stuff you’ve said that feels like there’s an opportunity there for a demon right I’m gonna be acting like somebody else so like how what do I do how do I do that there’s the rule do not try to be anybody other than yourself I don’t know a lot about Dungeons and Dragons but I do know that it is a role-playing game so yeah it felt like it was going to be tough to accommodate not playing the role of someone else or any other rules like but let’s get through those one thing you just never ever do is don’t use magic don’t use magic don’t use magic magic I mean it’s a there’s all kinds of magic that takes place in Dungeons and Dragons and we’re not technically allowed to do that either this is why we hired the man right we’re already in deep I mean you’ll be there so if you want if we feel like we’re backed into a corner and we need to like do magic we can talk about it first I mean I would say I would say pray to the Lord could be your strategies too but is it me and the game or me in real life that’s praying I mean you’re playing the game so you could be you in the game what else is a no okay so so when you use weapons like only use weapons that don’t have magic right so like stick to swords maybe a flamethrower that’s cool okay horses is how you get around everywhere okay and get around on horses no floating as opposed to what I mean like teleporting you can’t teleport you’re gonna have to take horses we want to slow everybody down so if I pretend to open a pretend portal you’re saying that a demon could come upon me yeah possibly yeah and is that something you feel when it happens no not always so I would I would not know at all yeah you wouldn’t even know you would think but you would know um and then you I would hope that you would tell yeah yeah I’ve never consulted with a demon eraser before um but I felt like we were getting what we needed so we assembled a team you know you got to have a dungeon master somebody who’s gonna run this thing we got some experienced players and we got some snacks and Brian hello everybody Welcome to a game of the Dungeons and the dragons just introduce myself my name is Lamar I’m your dungeon master AKA I talk about the world and let you guys know what is happening and the results of any of your actions that you do in the game we have a very special guest can you introduce yourself yeah well and maybe we should give some context this is this is Brian uh we yes we’ve hired Brian to be our consultant to be our should we say Exorcist should we say protector you know I’m I’m a bit of a I’m a demonologist and also or I used to be and I’m now an exorcist so uh yeah he’s here for us and uh but if you want to make use of them I guess you can yeah we might be turning and having a little holy huddle from time from from time to time okay this is the very first time ever playing Dennis Dragon yes correct okay so what we’ve done is decided to roll up some characters for you guys so we’re gonna go round table and introduce everybody around the table who they’re playing uh starting with Michelle Michelle tell us what plan yeah I’m Michelle and Bradley I’m playing zalia the tiefling Paladin that is me Technically she’s a Nephilim is what she really is and so this is like a human animal hybrid mixed demonic creature I’m Katie Wilson I am playing amaris Sun Meadow she is a human Druid my name is Rhett I am playing Dothan the Seeker and I am a human Warlock it’s gonna be tricky it’s simply gonna be tricky in the link we prepared to our character on we’re bladehaven French yeah uh I am a rogue eight half elf also tricky Lamar gave us a sheet that kind of told us what our characters were yeah there’s helped us out but it was a lot of them there’s a lot to take in there’s numbers on there there’s like blanks and scores and uh bonus points and health what this is not Checkers door son and Henry you two have been traveling together for many many months you’ve been getting Visions demons on horseback riding you enter into this place so far so good yeah horse is all right you into this Village which is very small you see about maybe 20 to 30 people walking around but then you immediately see a Tavern listed as the drunken pie what would you like to do do you smell what I smell I know Brian told us that we can’t role play but when I look at my character sheet and it says that I am Dothan the Seeker I mean I feel like I got to be Dothan the Seeker I thought you might be possessed at that moment it seems to be wall to wall of people in this place Dothan just follow my lead let me do all the talk oh games so we’re not on our horses we left the horses outside you know this is just how I walk and then eventually you meet uh your table mates which are these two it is very nice to meet you nice to meet you are you an elf no my my father was an elf may we join you where are you from strangers I’m from an Elvish City where I was abandoned by my father I’m searching for him actually okay okay back to the father thing great how many people have you killed oh we we don’t kill people and if we do we don’t talk about it yes we’ve never killed anyone not anyone ever everyone give me a perception check Rory D20 16. uh 19 flat I’m too busy five for those of you who rolled above a 14. you’ll realize that everyone’s actually completely sloshed yeah there’s something weird happening in this tavern what makes you say that I use mythology to make the fire in the fireplace get really large and to try to intimidate her you just started a big fire in the fireplace using mad have you never seen fire appear like that and I will produce flame in my hand oh my goodness yeah that’s called witchcraft it’s not something we want to practice though okay yeah just keep just keep it don’t teach me how to do this it’s fascinating but I don’t want to know how to do it you know but Brian behind us I was a little concerned about the dynamic with the other players okay this is not probably something they’ve experienced before so yeah see I will I will make a note see this town guys seems to be like overtaken by demonic forces because of the alcohol because a lot of people don’t know that alcohol demon well alcohol means actually out that’s alcohol it means body eating Spirit but we find to be here should we like should we leave I mean you’re just surrounded by demons probably in this situation okay okay okay you produce water into this cup in Thea bleeps at it and immediately tries to drink it to quench your thirst but as soon as it touches the lips she slams it down throws the water on the ground it spits it up and lets out this Blood curling scream as she like rips at her face like oh my God it’s like fire in her mouth you’ve done it now I don’t know what I did it’s just one is it no yes can I take a little walk and maybe inquire of someone else at this Tavern absolutely Brian are you are you cool to be a guy in this yeah I mean I’ll be the um the random dude that advises what’s your name Brian what’s your problem man hey what’s your problem um you’re trying to get information out of Brian yeah do you want to schmooze him or do you want to intimidate him I want a sweet talking you want to sweet talk him give me a persuasion check six plus nine is fifteen fifteen thank you yeah so Brian is completely persuaded from you to tell you anything you want his his alcohol so he doesn’t really care come on Brian you’re drunk you’re having a great time just tell me what’s up man I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine I mean literally it seems like a lot of people got demons from um you know the the alcohol they were consuming and then it uh brought forth a demonic entity and that demon is now probably spread around to all the people that are partaking in it okay I think I’m still talking to the real Brian putting your fate in the role of a dice or a die what is a singular die die I mean putting your your fate in the role of dice um I don’t know there’s some there is something a little bit intoxicating about it I don’t know if it was like a demonic pool but I’m just saying that I immediately understood pretty quickly like I can see why people play this and why people play this for hours you think it’s because of the dice uh that’s part of it it’s a big part of it nice the immersive world it’s the pretend nature it’s the it’s the non-competitiveness for me all of you hear horses winning and upset outside of the tavern oh did you guys bring a horse uh yes we’ve been riding on one horse oh yes that’s nice I’ve been in the front so you go outside and what you see these five guys trying to Wrangle your horse off of the stable hey that’s our horse I’m gonna take this horse hey okay I have a confession to make to the group okay and that is um I Can Do Magic but it’s not technically magic it’s technically chemistry you know what I’m saying it’s all it I mean it looks crazy it’s fire and things like this but it’s always the c word but yeah I mean that’s something I thought it was pretty clever coming up with a way to always explain magic as some natural process but is this tricking the demons are the demons like he’s about to cast a spell oh no it’s a chemical reaction we’re cool God this will be our very first combat You’re Gonna Roll a D20 and then add your initiative and that will determine how fast you act 19. plus an initiative of four whoa 23. I think you’re gonna go first I’m going to sing a song I want to hear the song yeah yeah we should hear a song okay here’s the song give it a small song horses or horses are for writing writing writing if you want to eat a horse then you better think of something else cause this is my horse and his horse into another week right on this horse but I’m always in the front I haven’t heard a song that good in many days I might be drunk but I know a good song and two of them just kind of like back away slowly as if they will not attack this round they have been stunned by your beautiful song wow I’m gonna um cast um poison spray and I’m gonna I’m gonna hit the guy roll your damage to this guy just get wrecked and that’s a 14. I’m still both dangerous Horseman man that’s spicy so that didn’t work it did work it did damage to him but he’s still standing battle mode this is a different part of the game yeah now we’re rolling dice we’re fighting we’re well we might be using magic you know what I can do is a minor illusion I can take his nose and tell him I’ve got it here it is here it is he freaks out intimidation 12 plus four you know what and he throws his uh knife to the ground I don’t want your horse it looked tasty items away wait have you seen my father oh boy yeah if you see him email me what write me a scroll I was really trying to like give a backstory to my character I noticed didn’t seem like anybody else was really latching on to that was the thing about your dad on your character sheet no would you like to steal something from him I’m stealing the sword give me a sleight of hand check I’m Gonna Roll this one again that is a six plus ten is 16. it’s [Music] in real life it would open me up oh yeah yeah that would be bad they’ll be bad in real life for sure um spirits of murder would come in the blood that runs in my veins from my father does not withstand being made to look stupid and I lash you’re kind of doing that but it’s like what are the rules here like if you have an idea you can just say it and then the dungeon master has to make a decision as to whether or not what you said can be incorporated or accommodated and then The Exorcist has to tell us other stuff too to make it even more common it was already complicated yeah you see four trees large evergreen trees but about four to five feet off the ground you see a hole about that big maybe eight eight inches in diameter one would say large enough for someone’s arm to go into I do have this is actually I have something that is very relevant to this I believe protection from evil and good you do have that ability protection from Evil and that’s good this this Enchanted space feels like it could be either good or evil but it definitely feels Enchanted and I feel like if I’m gonna stick my hole I mean other way around if I’m going to go into treehole I should be protected I cast guidance my guidance is divine technically speaking it’s a monobard see that’s definitely questionable then because then you’re receiving from other entities and these are the these are like the gods maybe I take my chances pull your hands out immediately but what feels weird is you don’t feel anything hurt this finger your ring finger as you pull it out there is a ring upon your finger that is designed like a snake biting its own tail that ring would be a satanic symbol no it doesn’t just mean Infinity forever it can mean a lot of different things but it’s it’s a representation of Satan being the author of everything which is why the snake is eating itself but the Tree close to the hole it glows and then a large wave of energy wind pushes you guys back to your back foot as a portal opens up we knew that Brian did not want us to go on this portal I did know that yes but we also knew that Lamar probably did made the portal so that we would go through it yeah and I wanted to go through the portal we knew we were going through the portal we had to go through the portal I’m going into the hole all right who’s following I’m following and I will follow my friend I am Consulting my brother maybe check on the horse I mean but hey you do what you know I don’t want to be alone you can’t leave your friends familiar feelings of my father leaving me I’m going through the hole you hear her [Music] that shakes the very walls around you and we link arms okay so and then what let’s close our eyes maybe not so much of the channeling thing going on oh why is it okay I mean what if we’re just doing each other this is a Friendship Circle as the four of you create this Friendship Circle you you’d fall into this pit trap as he spikes Pierce into your skin and flesh a little bit here um and I throw down a rope yeah rope okay I climb up rope I mean if Brian will allow me I would like to cast spider climb on you in which it is a buff that allows you to one willing creature gains the ability to move up and down and across vertical surfaces or upside down on ceilings you become Spider-man Spider-man what that’s pretty cool but and it leaves your hands free I have seen that kind of thing in The Exorcist yeah actually I’ve heard of people when we’re praying for them climbing up walls actually yeah it’s basically like just sticky stuff now it’s on your hands they put football tack on your hands so you can clap a bit it’s a physical Advantage I have a sticky spider hands now and now you can climb it sounds like she is becoming a demon there’s a tension there was a tension between what we were needing to do for a group and what we were needing to do for our soul Guardian yeah I I’m thinking that DND isn’t not normally this awkward you know what’s a really cool thing about playing games is that when you’re done playing with them you just get back to your real life I think that’s unless it unless that you that you think it’s just all part of normalizing uh things that are real it’s actually forms of real witchcraft are you good with that yeah poetic to literally face a demon yeah to get down to the very end and it’s a giant demon you’ve enjoyed my Lair I want to find out is it my dad what you see coming from the the sky above you the dark is this giant massive demon who drops lands right in front of you and the floor blows your shake standing over 12 feet tall do you think it’s a demon I mean it’s all demons man as this thing lands it it is hostile so we’re going to roll initiative everyone roll initiative plus four to two six wow we all rolled low unfortunately all of you rolled real bad terribly so this thing is actually gonna go first it’s going to let out a demonic Roar which all enters your heads and shakes your willpower to the core I need everyone to make me a wisdom saving throw 20. you’re on natural 20 yeah 20. yeah what’s that called again a Nat 20 baby I just it just started happening you got the Golden Touch man you’re gonna have to do this again I think it’s the demon inside of me you also feel that ring that’s in your pocket oh I forgot about it it seems to be like reverberating yeah as if it’s calling you to look at it give me a quick perception check [Music] 16. you look at this ring that seems to be reverberating in your hands and inside of the band you current and it says speak my name pretty demonic sounding speak my name what if you just say the words my name there might be a snake within your life within another life maybe the life of one that’s controlling you that knows of a snake that has your back which you love and you know of what is a snake that has my back would probably be like Lucifer in most cases but we have a pet snake named Craig Craig as you say Craig the ring explodes in this magical energy and out of your hand a large humongous snake shoots out of your hand and enters the battlefield you instantly feel like you have control over Craig the snake which wraps around you not controlling but as a protector and hiss is at this thing immediately I unleash my regular snake crash there we go to constrict this demon very good you are an expert at those staff I do have a sneak attack yes you do you can deal an extra 4d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack with a finesse or ranged weapon if you have advantage on the attack roll so you can do that yeah the best thing a road can do have your moment yes you can you can throw a stab do I need to roll something first yes that’s the weird shape what is this that’s a 20 that’s a 20. I wrote another 20. you wrote another natural 20. yeah yeah that’s the 20. oh my gosh what do you attribute this to so hey you know sevens so I’m gonna do this I mean it’s demon so yeah we’re killing it I mean it’s not a person if you don’t find a demon you would use fire yeah yeah it’s not a person it’s a demon so you can you know go for it stab it yeah yeah wherever uh it’s 12 feet tall so probably in its abdomen is there a is there an exposed ball sack yeah go for the go for the dude is he wearing bands dancer no he’s wearing a loincloth incredible if you like to stab him in a ball Shack with the 23 stab him in the ball sack and then I’m dangling by by it good job so you’ve done 24 points of damage wow in one action sneak attack man wow and I just happened to see that he grabs the snake and pulls it off of him and doesn’t hurt the snake but he’s no longer limited by him which means that he is and he keep cracking because we’re done the game keeps going everybody contributed yeah that’s right but me the most uh you in your daggers really came in but your daggers would have been marginally effective if I hadn’t wrapped that demon up in a snake I’m going full magic here I mean I have no choice but to fight this demon with the Demon’s own power no no no no shatter could easily be like one of those like you know those things that they use to like break glass like those little it doesn’t sound like that Brian it sounds more intense than that it says a sudden loud ringing noise painfully intense ah you can’t make one of those I don’t know I got one for you it’s really good right that’s not incorrect you’re in it you want us to beat this dude oh yeah by any means necessary apparently you know I mean that’s what I do that’s right we’re doing what you do now at this point in the gameplay I was very invested I was also pretty convinced that no one was going to be possessed I was no longer afraid to play Dungeons and Dragons but what I didn’t expect was for Brian to start playing Dungeons and Dragons well let’s see okay look to his credit he didn’t really play but you could tell he kind of wanted us to succeed I mean he was cheering for us he got caught up in it let’s just be honest I’m going to do my signature sneak attack so sneaky 12 plus 10 22 that hits right in the circle does the demon have nipples I would imagine some of them do it yeah yeah probably they’re mammalian some of them yeah okay brother mix they’re mixed their mix of hybrid that’s the most important part is that they’re very prominent nipples I got them in the prominent temples throw your damage all your d6s get the highest number here here we go nine Brian’s cheering for me yeah let’s get rid of that dude All in This Together 18 plus 2 20. wow 28 plus seven describe how it dies [Music] electronic creature I can only think of my father wherever you are father I’m coming for you just like this demon that has been defeated by the four of us together with our powers combined not unlike Captain’s Planet oh my God the demons screeched one less hellish breath that sounded like a giant eagle and that is our game yeah [Applause] hop on the course lift all four of us can get on the horse I’m I’m in the front come on Brian there’s room for you too sure everyone gets on the horse I want fan art of that never leave home without an exorcist yep exhilarating listen man that was awesome it almost felt as good as what I would imagine it would feel like to be exercised from with a demon well ironically in one sense he’s stabbing demons in the balls all the time you know what I mean yeah that’s kind of what we did we erased a demon how could that not be a good thing Lord God if there is anything demonic attached to these dice or anything that we have done or been a part of right now we rebuke it and we sever ourselves from it and we cast it into the abyss foreign yeah it’s done okay it’s good
