we’re just waiting for Ben I think he’s actually in another he’s in another seminar right now so he’s heading over hopefully he makes it hopefully any want to entertain while we’re waiting for Ben uh I know how to tap dance do you [Music] [Applause] really we’re seriously going to wait for Ben case’s got a little bit more energy than me right now Royal Highness Royal Highness Ben boy Ben mate Ben I’m really glad you can make it Eng right the classic sense of adventure is you know um like hats like this and uh Indiana Jones and you’re like exploring and you’re going out and um it’s like quite extreme but I think the reality for most of us is we are at home we’re in our routine day today so for me I think the challenge is finding Adventure in our in our day-to-day life someone talking the camera for 5 minutes about something scary like could be a way like deeper and more engaging Adventure than watching someone go on an Around the World trip that just feels like flat footage that you could have seen on natur do that if you do a couple of hundred videos you start to realize quite quickly that actually uh in your mind you already see how the edit is going to come together um even as the day unfolds if I go into something thinking this is how I want to put together my video like from this like knowing everything from the get-go I’m going to I Don’t Leave Myself open to a lot of the spontaneous things that will come about and I feel like I’ll miss those or I won’t say yes to them just because I’m like oh no no that’s not going to fit in my video it all goes back to some one principl understanding like the nucleus everything revolved around it’s like is that really who I am and it’s like if the answer is yes and not not that that it was a success and if the answer is no then I have to change it we’re not a fictional character like some YouTube channels you know some videos are different people create characters people do comedy skits we are essentially ourselves so so it’s kind of weird the reality is when someone’s like I feel like you’re my friend I’m like I get that and okay let’s be friends because you know everything about me the only difference is I need to get to know you high five high five yeah thanks for coming guys woo bye guys okay so guys I’ve just ducked out the green room and just had some lunch and I am getting interviewed for this Irish documentary about YouTube uh I don’t know much more about it but these are the guys it’s going to be good hey it’s going to be good okay let’s do it let’s do it well I finished my interview with the Irish TV crew and we have been having laptop Club back in the room and also look who’s joined us it’s Lena hi I haven’t seen you for like a year y I would say just under a year how’s life good good I think great cool Hey Kevin nice to meet you dude hey man come on in guys are waiting for you show a little bit late what’s happening down here leading with the lens all right what’s the plan welcome later okay our lives intersecting with yours uh is difficult because there’s one huge variable and that’s your life so whenever we get together which this is this I mean we we passed that at events but like gotten together to create something like even this is like oh this is it immediately feels feels more special because you’re such a moving Target well but it’s like you’re the you’re the the real life example of the most interesting man in the world that’s how I think about it oh yeah guys we just finished just I just we just chapped for like an hour and a half that was awesome that was awesome I got pretty deep like there some things I don’t normally share these guys drew it out of me there you you got some uh some good talk I wonder who’s here is this you YY it’s Jeff you guys remember Jeff high five Boom come in join the party good to see you man long time so if you guys don’t know it’s dark in here isn’t it if you guys don’t remember last VidCon we met up with Jeff we did we did a big fundraising campaign and uh he was homeless at the time and we bought together we bought him a van to live in which I’m going to show you guys later who else is here this is Dave hi he’s having a little nap I need to do to meet you finally London right that’s right we are heading outside to check out Jeff Van his bu that PO here’s the bus guys the road warrior bus amazing here it is wow Jeff that is amazing that’s so good and you don’t do it I had no intentions of getting a bus but just just happened guys this is the culmination of the fundraising from last year you guys that contributed this is it this is where Jeff is living now instead of living on the street so that’s pretty awesome isn’t it and when I lived on the streets I Liv totally Frugal I never spent one penny on a motel room because I want I didn’t know how long I’d have to go and plus I figure why spend money in a motel room I’m sleeping outside for free yeah I’m all about free and keeping my overhead low yeah and that enabled me to survive so long so let’s uh let’s have a little tour Jeff let’s have a little tour of the bus welcome home Lou wow look at this this Jeff’s house this is great he’s got his his wardrobe hanging up there and welcome and this is your this is his little Lounge I think his couch his couch turns into a turns into a bed the idea is at some stage I’m going to uh maybe crash for a night here may I can sleep on the floor here get some padding out sleeping bag and uh and the longterm vision is um Jeff wants to create a space in here where he can host people to come and travel with him and stay you want to do an Airbnb like Airbnb Airbnb people can like come and stay for the night and road trip and I haven’t registered on there people they already are uh many of them I probably turned down over like maybe $2,000 worth of it but I just don’t have it’s a great I mean that’s really entrepreneurial isn’t it like using the space you got these donated the sofas donated to me I met a guy at the Starbucks yeah I met a guy at Starbucks and we were talking and I just told him about my bus and I said I’m trying to find some furniture within a few days the guy said I have a couch for you in this chair amazing and that I found out a storage unit it was those of you that haven’t seen Jeff before like new subscribers since last year um he’s got his own YouTube channel and he’s wanting to continue to document his life on the road and uh the experiences which are going to be quite different from uh a lot of you guys so it’s just it’s just brilliant I think it’s great to support him so if you haven’t checked out his channel I’ll link that below uh he’s putting up some videos and how are you enjoying making YouTube videos Jeff I’m I’m really loving it everybody one right now look Warriors 360 really loving it I’m finally getting more comfortable with editing on on Adobe Premiere yeah Pro and uh it took a while it takes some for to get going on it but it’s it’s awesome that you’ve made that step and you’re starting to put videos up and yes I’m I’m actually enjoying it and u i I have a gift for you yeah okay give it to you okay look at that wow thanks J brand
