I don’t know what else to say. >> Well, do you link Do you think Nana would dance at the Pink Pony Club? >> Um, yes. Probably not on stage though. I think in the audience >> she she would do a little dancing. You know, Nana’s been known to dance. I don’t know. You have to ask her though. Well, let’s Well, why don’t we ask her? Oh, >> fine. Ask her. >> You going to call her? Yeah, I’m going to call her. I’m going to see. >> It’s kind of late, isn’t it? >> Hello. >> Hey. >> Hey, dear. >> Hey. Yeah, it’s just the people in Myrtle Beach that listen. >> Well, all over the world that listen. >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. Yeah, that’s great. >> Yeah. So, did Nana think the only people that listened to the podcast was your Sunday school class? >> What? >> Yeah. We links wants to know, do you think that the only people that listen to this the podcast is the Sunday school class? >> Well, I’m sure some of them look at it. >> That’s actually a good question, Dad. Do Do any of your actual friends listen to your podcast or do they avoid it? >> No. Yes, they do. I >> Okay, good. >> Uh even some in my Sunday school class listen to it. >> Okay. Yeah, >> I’m sure they do cuz you’ve been worked hard and I hear how well you’re doing cuz I’ve had several to tell me that y’all have just >> just opened up a new avenue for all of them. >> And okay, >> and if if she needs to be if she needs to find out anything else, then they’ll tell her. She doesn’t have to listen. you remember um now my friend I’m not thinking about her name now but she looks at you every day. >> Oh, okay. All right. So, she >> now used to live in South Carolina. >> Yeah. >> Well, so in other words, he probably needs to stop. Tell her tell her friend not not to listen. >> Yeah. I don’t I don’t know if we need to. Your friend needs to tell you what Lincoln I doing on the podcast. You might upset you. >> I don’t think so. You don’t. >> It’s It’s actually boring. >> Yeah. It’s just boring. It ain’t >> It’s nothing that we haven’t >> talked to her about directly anyway. She gets her own private podcast. >> Yeah. Tell her that. Yeah, Link said you don’t need to worry. We You get your own private podcast when he and I are with you in person. >> Then y’all have to clean it up, won’t you? >> No. Yes. >> I don’t know how to answer that. Cover, Dad. >> No. Do what? >> Just Just cover for it. >> Yeah, we No, we Everything we do is pretty clean, Nana. I mean, >> good. >> Yeah, we we we don’t do anything to try to shed bad light on you or anything. >> No. Oh my goodness. >> I’m not I didn’t even think about that. >> Yeah, we’re not doing that. >> You did. >> Ask her to tell us more about her bike. >> I I love you, baby. >> Wait, wait a minute. Wait. Tell tell us a little bit more. What What kind of bike or what thing are you riding? What what do I like now? >> What kind of bike are you riding? >> It’s um you sit on the sofa and you ride it just like you were riding a bicycle. And it has different um tightness on it where you can do it on up to eight, but I’m on three. >> What level you trying to get to? >> Yeah. But you’re on level three. So what level are you trying to get to? >> I don’t probably no more than four. >> No more than a four. >> Way it is. >> Well, she doing pretty good then. But u the amount of time I I do three or four miles a day. >> Woo. >> Oh man. >> Tell her that I got a new bike, too. >> Link said to tell you he got a new bike, too. >> He has. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> We have to use it to lose it. >> What? What? What? She’s insinuating that I just I’m not even I just got >> strength to >> Are you What are you Are you talking about bicycles or what are you talking about? >> I I thought he was thinking about a stationary bike. >> No, I think he’s got a real bike. >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. >> And I do use it. >> And he said he said he does use it >> on it. Does it have gears on it? >> It’s got gears on it. It’s a mountain bike, but get this. It’s a ebike. >> It’s a mountain bike, but it’s a ebike. >> Okay. >> Do ask her if she knows what that means. >> Do you know what a ebike is? Cuz I don’t know if I know what a ebike is. >> I don’t have any idea either. >> It’s >> Me neither. >> It’s It helps. I I would think you’d need a little help sometime when you’re going up. >> That’s right. >> And going down with your >> Oh, that’s what he said. It does. It help it. It It helps you where you don’t have to pedal as hard when you’re going up a hill. >> Yeah. >> Okay. That sounds like a winner. >> Does it really though? Does she approve of a bike that >> want to >> do what? Did he get the boys one, too? >> No. Did >> you get the boys one, too? >> No, it’s too expensive. >> No. No. He said it was too expensive. >> Oh, poor little fella. >> I’m I’m a little self-conscious about it because it has a motor and I feel like I’m cheating. >> I’m so sorry for him that he can’t afford to give his boy a boys a mountain bike. with some money cuz >> you started this. >> They would not listen. If I bought it for them, they still they wouldn’t ride it. >> They wouldn’t do it. They’re not interested. >> Yeah, they probably wouldn’t. And Link said if he bought it for them, they they’re not interested. They probably wouldn’t ride it anyway, >> right? >> But to ask her how I should feel about I’m a little self-conscious that I’m using a bike that has a motor instead of using my own power. He said he said he’s a little self-conscious because he’s using a a bicycle that’s got a motor on it and where it helps him. How do you feel about that? >> That’s fine with me. Anything that makes it work. >> That’s right. >> Yeah. I’m going I’m going to places I could never get to before. I’m seeing things I’ve never seen on this bike. >> Oh man. He’s He’s seeing stuff he don’t ever see because it’s got the motor on it. So, he likes it. >> Well, that’s Well, tell him don’t ride it down to Los Angeles right now. >> Okay. I’m I’m going to write it in the right places. Well, listen. Link says to tell you that he loves you and Okay. Yeah. >> I love you more. my first grandson. >> I hear it. >> She said she love you here. >> I believe it. >> Yeah. Well, we’ll talk to you later. >> All right. Love you both. >> Love you, Nana. >> Love you. Bye. >> Bye. >> Oh, I’m starting to get nervous, Dad, because she’s talking about how she’s got a friend that listens. >> We got to put a stop to that. Uh, hey Nana’s friend, if you’re listening right now, we got to put a stop to this. Don’t talk to Nana about any of this. >> Yeah, cuz this is a don’t tell Nana episode. Don’t tell >> Nana. Don’t tell. >> Not just the segments. The whole show is a don’t tell Nana. >> Yeah. >> If she needs to know something, we’ll tell her. And if we need to know something, she’ll tell us. Don’t get in the middle of it. Okay. >> She will. She will tell us, too. >> She will tell us. We got the Yeah, I got this ebike and I I haven’t even told some of my mountain biking friend that I got one cuz I’m too embarrassed. He’s going to judge me harshly. Well, hey, I there’s a guy that rides by our house here and is on one and I don’t know how he makes the turn down here cuz he’s got to be running about 60 mph. He’s he’s strolling. I mean, >> at a certain point, you don’t turn. You just lean like a motorcycle. >> That’s what I mean. That’s what he does. I mean, I don’t know. >> I don’t try to go that fast, but I’m getting around. I’m having a good time eating up those trails now, boy. >> But your friends that you ride with, you ain’t been riding with them with this bike. No, we can we kind of we kind of our schedules haven’t aligned for a while cuz I haven’t been on my bike on my normal non ebike, you know. So, >> okay. Well, at least you’re getting some exercise. >> And Nana’s getting her exercise and she’s focused on it, which I like. So, she’s always been >> a hard worker and always been very focused. So, >> I know she’s going to do right by her rehabilitation. It’s time for another edition of what in the hell is this doohickey? So, I’m going to describe these things to the listeners in a way as to not say what they are so that you can be the one to identify them. Matter of fact, I might get you to just describe them. I think that’s how we’ve done it first. So, all right, Logan, let’s put up the first picture. Well, I don’t know what you know and what you don’t know, Dad. >> Sometimes sometimes you surprise. You don’t You know some things. >> Oh, yeah. >> All right. So describe without saying what you think it is. Describe what it looks like and then after then I’ll ask you well what do you think it is. >> Looks like one of them things where a woman used to figure out whether or not she’s pregnant or not. >> Describe what it looks like for the listeners who can’t see the picture. >> Um it’s a tube with a little knob on the top of it that you have to twist. I I guess you have to pull it out, put some urine on it or pee and stick it back in there and push it back down in the tube. And then with them three little knobs on it, it changes color and that’s what tells you whether or not you are with child or not. >> Now, when you say you said pee on it and push it back in, push it back. Push what back in where? Well, it looks like it pulls out. It’s a little tube where you pull it out and you have to pee on it and then push it back down in there where it makes it read what it’s what it say. It says magic. I can’t even read that >> wand. >> Magic word. >> Wand. >> Wand. Okay. It’s a magic wand. See, it’s going to tell them whether or not they’re uh pregnant or not. That’s right. That’s right. That’s right. Let’s see the next one. >> Okay. >> You nailed that, Dad. >> So, that’s what it was. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah, that’s what it was, Dad. You got that one. >> Okay. >> All right. Describe what this one is. What >> it’s uh I’m trying to think of the name of these sand. >> No, hold on. Describe it for people who cannot see it. >> Oh, it’s a it’s something that you put on your foot and it’s this one is pink. >> Mhm. >> And it’s got little holes around the side of it and all on the top of it. It’s got a little strap on the back of it. So, if you >> uh Crocs, it’s a croc. >> You got it. You figured that on out. >> Nice. >> All right. That’s a croc. And if you pee on it, >> what happens? It gets wet if you pee on it. It gets wet. >> All right. >> And you and then you can walk in the water and wash it off and it’ll run through the holes and everything. >> That’s what the holes are for. So you pee on the top of your shoe and then it like disinfects your toes. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. You’re two for two. >> I’ve never I’ve seen these Crocs, but I’ve never owned a pair. So, but >> you know what? Lando uh got a pair a couple years ago and I discovered that they fit me and so I was like, I’m going to try these out. I’m not going to wear them out of the house cuz they’re ugly. I’ll just wear them around the house a little bit. Then I started wearing them. Then I started wearing them out the house and then they became my shoes that I wear frequently. So, be careful saying anything negative about Crocs before you start wearing them. And I wear them with Crocs. >> Yep. Don’t knock it till you pee on it. >> Yeah, that’s right. >> Pee on it. Push you back in. >> Well, they must Hey, there’s a lot of people that wears them. So, they must have something where people like them >> and what they do. >> There’s a simple elegance to them. >> But they Hey, they can be kind of ugly. They are ugly, >> but in a nice way. >> All right. Now, describe this one for our listeners who aren’t on YouTube. >> Uh, this has got to be one of those. >> But, Dad, what I’m ask I’m asking you to describe it before you say what you think it is. Like, it’s there’s a woman and she’s got on a >> This woman has got a mask on and it’s not a Halloween mask. >> Mhm. But it probably could be. >> Yep. >> Uh >> kind of like a hockey mask. >> Yeah. Yeah. Kind of like a >> What else are you noticing about this hockey mask? >> But but this mask has got two straps on it and I’m trying to look and it’s got a cord run up to it and it’s got a little control button that you’ve got. And I guess you put this on and it’s supposed to let your um invigorate or kind of like getting a face lift but tighten your skin up and making it more beautiful for your better half or somebody else to look at it and >> tighten it up and just do things to it where you don’t have to get a facelift. Yeah. >> Why are you using that prop your proper voice? >> I that >> you’re starting you’re starting to use your proper voice when describing this mask. Have you heard of red light therapy? >> I think maybe a little bit. I’ve seen something about it on TV. >> Apparently that’s what this is. >> Okay. And I don’t know what it’s supposed to do for you, but Rhett was talking to me about it because, you know, I think he he has a version of this and I tend to just kind of zone out when he starts talking about it. So, I can’t tell you what red light therapy does, but I should be doing it apparently. >> Oh, >> and you too. >> Maybe. Me, too. Then get get us both one. We’ll tell Rhett if it works or not. >> And we need one that does our whole body. Will >> you stand naked in front of it? I’m I’m probably too far gone for that. So, just get me one for my face >> and you’d wear it. We don’t even know. We just know we should be using it. We don’t even know why. That’s just If I should be using it, just give it to me. I’ll use it. I don’t even know the wise behind things. >> Well, it Hey, it looks like it might one size fits all. So, if if tell R if he gets us one, my wife might would use it. So, uh, so just tell him to send it on. We’ll see what works with it. Yeah, >> cuz you’re assuming that he no longer uses it in the same way that once I send it there. >> I don’t want the one he used. I want a new one. >> Oh, well, we don’t have one, Dad. The only one we got is the one that he had. We But I’m sure he’s not using it anymore. >> Okay. >> I mean, we’ll dis I’ll ask him. >> Okay. >> You kind of inferred correctly on that one, too. Okay. And we got one more picture for you. Now, who is this? >> That’s red. >> And when you That is close. That is Wet Mclofflin. >> Wet Mclofflin. >> That is Rhett’s cousin. and >> R’s cousin. >> Yeah. No, that’s Rhett. They got him. They got him to uh to do drag on the Mythical Society and this is the result. What do you think about it? >> He looks like he pretty much fit the bill for it. To me, >> he understood the assign. Oh, looks pretty good. >> Yeah, >> it’s something that says cowgirl on the front of it. I mean, he he he pretty much uh knocked it out of the park, I reckon. >> Well, you’re being very nice, Dad. The eyebrows are completely fake. The boobs are completely fake. >> The eyelashes >> beard, >> you know, he sh He He could have shaved a beard. I don’t know. It was his opportunity. That might would have helped me. >> Yeah. >> As it stands, I I’m kind of done with it. I’ve seen it a few times. I’ve gotten my kicks and I’m ready to move on. >> Me, too. >> Okay. Yeah, you’ve seen it about that that much at this point, too. Yeah. It’s like I understand. I think he might feel the same way, too. But yeah, at least you didn’t say that was me. Like when I showed you the picture when I was in drag, you said it was Rhett had shaved his beard and it was Rhett and it was just me. >> Yeah. Just you. Yeah. So, >> I’m glad you didn’t say that was me. So that’s really what I was testing. >> Well, Link, before we get through with what we’re doing and end this episode, said, “I want to give a big holler out to Todd.” >> Okay. >> Todd emailed us three years ago about getting out there after his divorce. >> I remember this. >> Yeah. >> First of all, I can’t believe we’ve been doing this show for three years. >> Three years. >> And we asked for a followup. Keep reading. Go ahead. said, uh, after after his divorce, we gave him some words of advice and encouragement. He emailed >> later in 2023 that he took our advice and wrote us an email from a bar singing karaoke for the first time in 20 years. >> Well, he just emailed us this. I do have a long awaited update. Better late than never. >> Yes, >> I did. I did meet a wonderful woman who is the nicest person I could ever imagine. >> She’s a beautiful light of my life, and I am super grateful to have her. She is a huge fan of both of you and Mythical as a whole. So, when I proposed to her, my friend and I set up a chicken nugget taste test. She won. Of course, the prize was another box of nuggets, but this one had her engagement ring in it. I’m super thankful for you, Link and Rhett and GMM, and all the Mythical and Myrtle Beast. Here is the video my friend took of my proposal with a GNM GMN episode playing in the background. >> This is great. This is great. I’m taught to thank you. >> And now take your blindfold off >> and you feed it to yourself. >> Well, then you pick it up and feed it to to me. You >> want to marry me? >> Yeah, exactly. >> I don’t think I can get it here. >> Yeah, exactly. That was his proposal. >> Yeah, exactly. Is that was that >> hear you guys in the background? >> Yeah. >> Crazy. >> I love it. Dad. >> Well, >> we got it. We got it. We encouraged him to get back out there. >> I’m telling now he’s getting married. >> Yep. And you know, we wish him the best. There’s no need to start the whole process over again. This can be a new track. >> I’m saying you don’t have to get divorced. Todd, >> Todd. Todd, your your uh proposal thing was a lot better than the one we saw. right >> a month ago that she didn’t pay no attention to him. Just leave me alone. Yeah, >> that’s pretty good. But Todd, you know, uh I’m glad Link and I have been able to help you and >> it makes me happy. >> Move on. Move on with your life and you have found someone special to spend the rest of your life with. So this is wonderful. This is a Hey, we’re probably going to do this show two more times anyway. >> Oh, yeah. This is going to keep us going. >> I mean, it makes it it does make us feel like it’s worthwhile with what we do when something like this >> and we have fun and kick back and do things on here that’s >> off the cuff and everything, but when we somebody sends us in like you did, Todd, with this, it it makes doing this podcast all worthwhile. Yes, it does. >> Yeah, we really appreciate you giving us the update and um you know, I’ve doled out a lot of advice and there’s not not the happy endings aren’t as great as that one. So, I’m pretty I’m pretty excited. I agree with you, Dad, that it it makes me feel good that um >> Yep. >> it’s working out for them. And now every time they eat chicken nuggets, they’ll think about getting married, which is great. That’s a good association. Nuggets are good. Love is good. Put the two together. You know, it’s like we need to be drawing more of a positive association between chicken nuggets and other things that we like. Like for for kids learning how to get potty trained, you need to be throwing nuggets in their mouth. for um for for people who are in prison and they’re being rehabilitated for for their actions or weward ways. You got give them nuggets. I think that’s going to do it. I think when people get out of prison, they should be showered with chicken nuggets. You kind of you’ve gone on a tangent today that I I don’t know where it came from. Nugget. Chicken nuggets. >> Nugget. Nuggets are the are the best association with good times >> and getting out of prison. I mean, getting out of prison is a good time. >> Oh, yeah. I would. Yeah, I would think that would be that’s a good time, >> you know. >> Yes, it is. >> You are a prison guard. You could be out. You ever watch somebody get out of prison? >> Yeah, I’ve seen some that got released. Did you ever happen to be eating nuggets at the time? >> No. >> But if you did, would you think about maybe throwing one down to the guy? >> Yeah. >> See, >> I I might would have, but uh >> here’s your first nugget as a free man >> kind of thing. >> Here’s your second nugget as a free man. >> Here’s your third nugget. How many nuggets you want to give him? >> As many. >> That’s enough. >> That’s enough. Okay, three nuggets. You got to you got to find your own path to more nuggets. >> Yep. >> A long time inmate would would be very impressed with the amount of nugget options that are now available to them. >> I’m telling you. >> Yeah. So, Tom, we wish you the best. You know, if you find yourself in prison, >> uh, we wish that you’ll get out quickly and that you’ll get eat nuggets >> and that your wife will stay with you through all of it. >> Yeah. She she don’t No, I don’t want you to end up in prison, Todd. I want you to get married, have a a wonderful life, and uh and and y’all y’all have a great time. Yeah, >> that’s better. >> Uh, so >> no arrests. No arrest. Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. I hope they don’t catch you, Todd. I >> I hope you don’t do nothing wrong, Todd. So they have don’t have to worry about catching. >> That’s That’s even better. >> Yeah. So you can go get nuggets anytime you want to. >> That’s right. That’s right. >> Every anniversary. Now your your meals taken care of and it’s going to be cheap cuz it’s just nuggets. That’s the brilliant thing you’ve done. You’ve created an anniversary celebration that requires only buying nuggets. Brilliant. >> Well, link, I’m about nuggeted out. So, >> I feel that. I feel that. >> Yeah, >> cuz it was fun all h having all you my beasts here with us today. And we’ll be back next week for another one.
