The time for AI is nigh. – Let’s talk about that. (cheerful music) Good Mythical Summer. – Captain’s log, August 31, 2022. The robots have taken over GMM. The mythical crew is gone, save for the writers, who are being held captive. Link and I are the only remaining humans, and we must serve our new masters, lest we find out what true evil looks like. – Chase is also here, naked and in a cage. The cage is unlocked, but he likes it in there. – And now we must do our overlord’s bidding and execute an episode completely designed by artificial intelligence. It’s time for A Robot Made Me Do It, Part Six. – Just like last time, we ask an actual AI program, yes, we have a relationship- – Actual. – with an actual AI program. – Intimate, intimate. – We ask it to come up with new GMM episode ideas, based purely on a list of real GMM episode titles that we fed it. – Right into its little robot mouth. – Nom nom nom nom nom. – We then took the episode ideas the AI spit out, tried to make sense of ’em, and then turned them into tiny little mini episodes. – That’s what we’re gonna do. At the end of each one, we’ll decide if the AI actually came up with a good episode idea or not, by declaring, “AI, all hail!” or, “AI, big fail.” – All right, let’s get started. It is time for Breakfast Chicken and Waffle Rematch. Okay, so the AI wanted us to do a breakfast chicken and waffle rematch, but there’s a problem with that, because we haven’t done a first breakfast and chicken waffle match. – So in order to even attempt AI’s idea for a rematch, we gotta do the first one first, and then the winner will be named Winner Winner, Chicken Breakfast. It’s time for Breakfast Chicken and Waffle Match. – Okay, Stevie, how does this work? – [Stevie] All righty, boys, these two plates of breakfast chicken and waffles come from the two most well-established restaurants in Los Angeles that happen to serve the dish. – Right. – That’s Roscoe’s right there. – Mm-hm. – The one in front of Rhett is from Mimi’s Cafe for 18.99, and the one in front of Link is from Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles for 20.99. I need you to taste them both and give them– ♪ Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles ♪ – Go ahead– – individual scores – and surf and butter these things. – of one to 10. – It’s been too long since I’ve been to Roscoe’s. – Too long. – I think I’ve been to Mimi’s. – Oh, I just dumped butter right on there. It’s good. Who cares? You gotta get the chicken and the waffle. I typically like to take a little hot sauce. – Yep. – So Mimi’s is really known for this, huh? I didn’t really know. – This does not look good, Mimi. But, you know what? Does it taste good? And I like to eat the waffle– – with the chicken. – and the chicken at the same time. – And hot sauce, but we don’t have that. – Are you doing that? – Yeah, I got chicken and waffle. I’m just like going to– – Oh, your waffle was hidden hidden. Dink it. (crunching chicken) Very crispy. – It still tastes good. – Very crispy. Something about that chicken is like– – A little too tendery? – Yeah. It’s like a frozen chicken thing, as opposed to hand battered, hand fried. – This is actually what I usually get, the breast and the waffle. I can’t remember the name of that meal. – I think it’s called like a 19B/Z. The menu’s really weird there. Mm! – Oh ho! That chicken is so much better. And the waffle’s better, ’cause this waffle’s too thick. – Yep. Alright, so on a scale of one to 10, I mean, I give that a four. – I’m gonna give it a five, because I’d still eat it. But I’m giving the Roscoe’s a 10. – And you know what? I ain’t ashamed to also give Roscoe’s a 10. So therefore Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles, we crown the Winner Winner Chicken Breakfast. – Okay, now that we got that out of the way, it’s time for Breakfast Chicken and Waffles Rematch. Okay, Stevie, what are we doing here? – [Stevie] All righty, boys. These two plates of breakfast chicken and waffles come from two well-established restaurant chains in Los Angeles that happen to serve the dish. The one on Rhett’s side is from Mimi’s Cafe, for 18.99. – And I know this is Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles. – Yeah, I recognize that name. – For 20.99. I need you to taste them both and give them individual scores, one through 10. – Okay. – Okay. I don’t know if I’ve had Mimi’s before. Maybe the last time when did it on the show. – I know I’ve had Roscoe’s, but I, yeah, I remember having this on the show. – Make sure you get the chicken and the waffle together. – Yeah, get it at the same time? – Yeah. I’ve already got mine. – Oh, there’s waffle on yours too? – Yeah, right there. – It was kind of hidden. – Dink it. – And sing it. (crunching chicken) – Crunchy. Crunchy. – It’s okay, but– – It’s kinda got a, I don’t know, a tender thing happening. – Yeah. This is like a real piece of chicken right here. – I’m telling you, man. – Gimme some of that waffle. – I love… I mean, when I go to Roscoe’s, of course, I will get some dark meat. – This is actually what I get. I get the breast and the (grunting). – The waffle? – The waffle yeah. Just a waffle, that’s what I was gonna say. – I don’t know what that is on the menu. I think it’s like item number 72B/Z. Yeah. The menu’s kinda weird. – Oh man. That is so much better. – Alright, what do you give this? – Four? No, I’ll give it a five. – I’m gonna give it a one. – Oh, really? – Yeah. I hate it. (crew laughing) I’m gonna give this, I’m tempted to give it a 10. I wouldn’t be ashamed to do that. – I’m gonna give it a 10. – I just feel like it’s been sitting out a little bit. I’m gonna give it a nine. – Okay. But that’s still pretty clear. That means that the Winner Winner Chicken Breakfast is Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles. – Uh huh. For the rematch, I think we were pretty consistent. So what did we learn in terms of– – But was that a good idea? – doing a rematch. Yeah. Because does our palette change over time? I think it’s a legitimate question that AI’s trying to ask. – I felt pretty much exactly the same. – So did I. I mean, maybe a little bit different. – I don’t know how entertaining that second one was. Maybe the first one, but the rematch, especially, felt like, well-trod ground. – Yeah. – [Rhett] So Breakfast Chicken and Waffle Rematch, AI, big fail. – AI, big fail. Alright? Now it’s time for I’m Team Edward: Chip Licker Challenge. – Alright, so AI thought we should do an episode called I’m Team Edward: Chip Licker Challenge. Of course, we are currently team Edward, not only on the top, but also on the booty. We interpreted the chip licking part as being able to identify chips just by licking them. And the winter’s gonna receive a very special AI-generated prize, a chemical that causes a pleasant feeling. – I’m excited about that. – That’s exactly what they said. – I’m excited about that. – Alright, Stevie. – [Stevie] Alright, so put those blindfolds on. We’re gonna give you both a lineup of 10 different chips to lick, one lick per chip, and then you must guess what flavor or type of chip you’ve licked. Whoever gets the most right wins. And I’m gonna give you a three, two, one every time. Are you ready to get licking? – As you can see, we can’t. Lick Daddies blinded today. – Team Edward ready to go! – [Stevie] Let’s bring in the first chip. – No mouth touching now. Oh, I just touched it with my mouth. – Okay, three, two, one? – [Stevie] Three, two, one. – Cool Ranch. – Barbecue. – It was Cool Ranch. – That’s right. Yeah, you’re right. – Next chip. (smacking lips) – Nacho cheese. – [Stevie] Hey, keep your licks to one. I see you. I see you licking. – Only one lick? – One lick. – And you can’t guess. You had to do three, two, one. – [Stevie] Three, two, one. – Nacho cheese. – Nacho cheese. – [Stevie] Incorrect. It was Pringles Sour Cream and Onion. – Oh, really? – Oh, man, I really swayed you. – [Stevie] Next. Three, two, one. – Salt and Vinegar. – Okay. I was gonna say something different, so– – Did I lick your finger? – Yes. – [Stevie] It was Miss Vickie’s Salt and Vinegar. – Sorry. Sorry. – [Stevie] Next. – Don’t use that finger for anything until you wash it. (crew laughing) – [Stevie] Hey, don’t get a double lick in! Three, two, one. – Honey Mustard. – Sugar. – [Stevie] It was Kettle brand Honey Mustard, Honey Dijon. – I knew it was, I knew it was sweet. – [Stevie] Next. (crew laughing) Three, two, one. – Pickle. – Vinegar. – [Stevie] Lay’s Dill Pickle. Next. – I did eat that one, but I couldn’t help it. – You ate one? – It stuck to my tongue! – Hold on. Well, then he can’t get a point. – I tried to lick it, and it, part of the lick was eating. – Lick Daddy don’t eat! – I didn’t mean to. – Lick Daddy don’t eat. No point. (buzzer blaring) – [Stevie] Three, two, one. – Cinnamon Sugar. – Cardboard. – [Stevie] Yes. Stacy’s Cinnamon Sugar. – What? – I didn’t eat at that time, jerk! (laughing) – Cinnamon Sugar chip? – Yeah. – Next. Three, two, one. – Cheese? – Um, um. – Barbecue? – No. Sour Cream and Onion. No, I mean Cheddar Sour Cream. – [Stevie] No. It was Guacachip (chuckling) Guacamole. Next. – I can taste it now. What was that? A smooth? – [Stevie] Only one lick! Three, two, one. – Plastic. It’s just straight up plastic. – That’s a chip of, that’s a chip off of a– – Oh, it’s a poker chip. – Yeah. – Oh, it was? – Yep. – Yep. – That’s a smooth poker chip. – [Stevie] Next. (crew laughing) – Ugh! – The way you licked it, Link! – That was plastic. – [Stevie] Three, two, one. – Wood chip. – No. It’s not a wood chip. It’s a computer chip. – Yep. – How was it so smooth? – I don’t know, man. It’s a smooth computer chip. – How do you know it was a computer chip? – ‘Cause it was the only other chip I can think of. And I felt a little piece of plastic that was like for fastening or something. – [Stevie] Next. (crew laughing) – Oh, that’s a, that’s a chip. – [Stevie] Three, two, one. – Chipmunk. – Chip ‘n Dale stuffed animal. – Chipmunk. – [Stevie] Yeah, it was a chip doll from Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers. – Yes! – You got that. – I get that one. – Well, I said chipmunk. – I said it was a Chip ‘n Dale. – Okay, you get the point. I’m winning by a lot anyway. – [Stevie] Okay, you can take your blindfolds off. Rhett, you scored a total of five points. And Link, you scored a total of two points. – Well, that… You know what? That was fun. It was kinda (clearing throat) old school… I’m choking on some Chip ‘n Dale. (Rhett clearing throat) It had a old school GMM quality, back when we could just get away with being Lick Daddies and nothing else. – And back when we used to do nothing but talk about Team Edward. – Right. Yeah, this is definitely a throwback in a lotta ways. – [Stevie] So, Rhett, you win the AI-generated prize of a chemical that causes a pleasant feeling, which we interpret as dopamine pills and cheese, which has tryptophan, known to increase serotonin levels. – Dopamine pills? “Neurotransmitter support for mental drive. Sixty vegan capsules.” – I need some water. (crew laughing) I don’t know how to chew the cheese and not swallow the pill. I’ll figure that out while we’re figuring out Team Edward Chip Liquor Challenge, AI, all hail! – All hail! – Okay, now for our final episode. It’s time for Toothpaste Challenge. Aim for the eyes. Okay, in case you had any doubt that the robots are trying to destroy us, this one’s about AI trying to blind us with toothpaste. – Apparently so. Alright, so we have the toothpaste. We’re gonna do some sorta quick draw, and aim for each other’s eyes. – Yeah. We’ll be back-to-back, duel-style. And then the winner will get an AI-generated prize, which is in this mystery envelope. Not gonna open it. Set it aside. – Okay. – Right there. – [Stevie] Okay, boys, back-to-back. Set yourselves up five feet away from each other. – That’s the first line? – Yep. – Got it. – [Stevie] Walk it out. Now, for this round, you can turn around. For this round, eyeballs are worth (chuckling) (crew laughing) – [Stevie] You can face each other. – Who were you talking to? Hold on. Link, okay, if I’m gonna blind him, he’s gotta take his glasses off. – It said aim for the eyes, but it didn’t say, – Oh, come on! – If I take my glasses off, I can’t see. – I’m right here! – [Stevie] I think Link’s glasses count as eyeballs, because eyeballs are worth three points this round. The face is worth two points, and the body is worth one point. And if you miss completely, you get zero points. So Link’s eyeballs can be his glasses. On your mark. Get set. Go! (toothpaste squirting) (crew laughing) – What was that noise? – I got you. – Yeah, you got me right here. – Right on the underwear. – Where did– – Oh! Look, you got me right on the underwear too. – Oh, I got you in the same place! I think going at the same time, we were both kinda scared. – Well, that’s how these duals work, though. Ask Aaron Burr. What’s the point for hitting your exposed underwear? – [Stevie] You each get one point. So now you’re gonna move three feet further away from each other. – And grab your other toothpaste. You want me to turn around now? Since we were so good at that distance. (chuckling) – [Stevie] All right, eyeball– – Let’s do one at a time this time, ’cause I was just cringing too much to give it my best. – Okay. – You go first. – [Stevie] Eyeballs are now worth five points, face is three, body’s one. Go ahead. – Huh! (crew laughing) I get you. – You almost got Edward in the eyes. – It’s like, you gotta release a lot higher than you think. – Here we go. Ready? Oh! (laughing) Oh, man! So close. So close. – [Stevie] Alright, we got two bodies again. – You got me everywhere. You got me here, you got me down the leg, almost inside of my freaking shoe. – You got me inside my shoe too. – Oh. Inside the shoe for two? – [Stevie] One point each. We can do two points each, if you want, – Alright. – but one point each. – Let’s back up. – [Stevie] Move four feet further away. And then, of course, points increase. Eyeballs are seven, faces, five, body is three. Who’s going first. Rhett? – I’ll go first this time. – This is tough, man. – Oh! – Oh! (laughing) Dang, man, I’m on line for sure. – So this time you got my belly button, and then my whole left thigh. – But I’m aiming for the eyes, just like AI said. (laughing) – God! Nothing. – Another one, same time? Three, two, (laughing) (Link screaming) (toothpaste squirting) – I can’t hit you to save my life. – Well, okay. – Alright. Rhett wins. That means your prize is in your envelope. – Alright, let’s see what you got. See what AI cooked up for you. – “AI-generated prize, the prize value, that $150, is in your pockets right now. Back pocket.” – Your back pocket or my back pocket? – Somebody… – I owe you $150. (crew laughing and clapping) Alright, so toothpaste challenge. – Yeah, I don’t have anything. (chuckling) – Aim for the eyes. Lots of technique required here. Lots of potential cleanup. These are all harbingers of a really good GMM episode. – Yeah, but I don’t know how entertaining that was for anyone, to be honest with you, except maybe AI. – I don’t know. Stevie, were you entertained? – [Stevie] Yeah, it was kinda entertaining. – Was it clickable? You think this is gonna be thumbnail? – [Stevie] No, that’s a longer discussion. – Yeah, okay. So, alright, if you were entertained, Toothpaste Challenge: Aim For The Eyes, AI, all hail! – All hail! – Thanks for subscribing and clicking that bell. – You know what time it is. – Hey, my name is Mike. I’m originally from the UK, but I now live in beautiful France where I work at CERN and upgrading the Large Hadron Collider.
