Today we find out what happens when VR goes wrong. Let’s talk about that Good Mythical Morning. Sometimes it really feels like we live in the future. I mean, when we were kids, you could only find technology like robotic limbs and self-driving cars in science fiction. But those things actually exist today, and yet we still don’t have teleporters. Yeah. Luckily we do have virtual reality headsets and we also have our new friends at America’s Funniest Videos. Not a sponsor, just a collaborative friend. So what do you get when you combine VR and AFV? Well, you get some very funny clips of VR going wrong or so I’m told. Yeah, we asked AFV if they could scour their massive library of clips to send us the best and funniest VR centric. That’s specifically what we asked for. Mm-hmm. Uh, and they, they found those, uh, and we’ve got a brand new game now. Yeah. It’s time for V-R going to see some funny clips now. VR gone wrong. Okay, boys, I’m about to show you some of those VR clips you were just talking about, but we’re going to pause them just before the VR hits the fan. All you have to do is guess what happens next. Whoever is closest, according to me, will get a point. Okay. Let’s take a look at the first video. Did they score it? Okay? Yeah. He’s boxing. Yep. Looks like a boxing game. Well, oh, getting a jab in a double punch. Oh, round house. Another, another jab. Okay. A lot can go wrong. A lot can go wrong. It looked like he had it under control, but we know something’s gonna go wrong. I think he’s tapping into, uh, some experiences he’s had at bars late at night. You know, you think that guy’s been to a bar? Something tells me. Come on, don’t be presumptuous. Just the cut of his jib. The good news is no matter what happens, there’s uh, lots of cushiony recliners. I like the wood paneling too. Matter of fact. Okay. Okay. I think he falls back on the recliner that then reclines. Oh, I hope you’re right. Yes. I wanna see that. I thought this was just a timing situation. I think an intruder comes in, uh, at just the wrong time. Oh wow. Wrong time, wrong place. He protects his family. And boom. Uh, hook, right hook or left hook to the face. Okay. Someone else gets hit. Okay, let’s see. Here we go. What’s gonna happen? He’s getting tired. I think he’s getting tired. Oh. Okay. Oh, there was a woman. Oh. Oh, that was a boy. That was a boy right behind him the whole time. I thought that was a grandma. I thought it was a grandma. I thought it was a laughing grandma. A grandma boy was right behind him. He hit the chandelier. Wow. That was a uppercut. You know what I’m saying? That’s a uppercut emphasis on the up. Yeah. I love that. Like he moved a little bit and revealed like a family portrait, and then he hit the light and moved out and revealed his family. He told a story. He did it. It’s a story. It’s hard on the points front. I mean, you both were on either side of it, but Rhett said, wrong place, wrong time. I also said another person would be featured. Okay. I said in not, we’ll go with Rhett, not grandma boy. I didn’t, I, you know, I, I’ll, I, yeah. It’s a loose, a loose system. Every family needs a grandma boy. Okay, now you see how this works. Let’s take a look at the next one. Oh, lots of recliners in this. Oh, there’s so many hazards in this. So, okay. So many hazards. That’s a large family. And a low angle. Any grandma boys? Here, here, here comes a chihuahua coming in. [Video]: Oh, what was that a radio? She ducking. Oh, okay. She’s starting to walk. She’s ducking and walking. I think I know what happens to her. Ducking and walking. First of all, how many recliners, is that just a bunch of recliners next to each other? This is what you were talking about, a couch full of recliners. Yes, there’s definitely a correlation between VR and reclineable couches. Okay. Mine is a chain reaction. I will describe it ’cause this is not very clear. Anytime a chihuahua is involved, I’ve got one and uh, or at least part Chihuahua, and they’re so skittish and anything can set them off. I think that this chihuahua suddenly turns on her as she gets too close to ’em. It’s a chain reaction that then gets the other dog. There’s another dog. Yeah, there’s another dog, like a golden retriever. That will respond, something’s gonna fall. And then that little grandma boy in the far right, uh, is gonna start crying. It will end with a little grandma boy starting to cry. Okay. I guess I’m saying punts da chihuahua. Okay. Alright. And no chain reaction. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Let’s see. Here it comes. What was that? A radio ducking duck. Oh my goodness. Okay. All right. Why would you? Look at, look at grandma, grandma boy. Okay. The grandma boy actually laughed, but it took him a while. He had to figure, figure out, didn’t cry. I was so wrong. He was scared at first. So you thought the. I mean, there was somewhat of a chain reaction in that, that, you know, the, the, the people got up. I, and then other people got, got up. I’m glad she didn’t punt. She did not kick the chihuahua. The trouble had nothing to do with it. It. No. You only said the Chihuahua had something to do. Yeah, the Chihuahua was the only one. I don’t know. I don’t feel right about taking the point because. Okay, no points. The grandma, boy, he laughs. He didn’t cry. We’re pointless. Yeah, we’re pointless. That person is shin less. Really makes me want to do some VR. I mean, she sprinted boy. Yeah. You gotta keep your feet planted. You, you gotta remember what VR is. Right, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. Yeah. It’s not just R. it’s easy. It’s easy to do. Let’s see the next one. Boom. Set up today. Oh, this is like an arcade. [Lady in video]: the airplane and all that. I’m gone. Oh, it’s the fake rollercoaster. I’m with you. I’m with you. I’m here. We’re going down. We’re going down. Okay, so this is advanced VR. This has a big cord coming out of it. This is obviously at some sort of public place. They’re sitting down. What can go wrong? Well, it’s a grandma man. Yeah, yeah, that’s right. That’s right. The grandma boy grew up. Became a grandma man. What can go wrong? Sitting down. I think it is a roller coaster. ’cause if you look at the thing behind him, so if you like get really scared at a roller coaster, okay, I think I know what could happen. Okay. What you got? I think that gm, that’s, that’s grandma man throws goggles at passerby, like in one of these, like get so scared. Just like, get me outta here. Oh, okay. Projectile. I, I’m not sensing that. I think there is some sort of situation where they end up bonking heads and they both die instantly. And it’s actually, it’s pretty remarkable that they included this one. Instantly, yeah. I, instant death. Well, the temp, the temples hit each other and it’s just, yeah, they, they both collapse. Wow. But they bonk heads. Bonk and die. Yeah. Okay. Let’s see. Okay, we’re going down. Ah. He’s, grandma man is embarrassed. He’s choking her. He’s gagging her. Oh my God. That woman is really going for it. Yeah, it’s off now, girl. Oh my God. Talk about suspending your disbelief. Yeah. Yeah. She, she was there wherever she was. She was there. She didn’t suspend, she retired her disbelief. Well, nobody died. We should have known that. I should have known it was her. That went nuts. ’cause he seen cool, calm, and grandma man. He nearly went for the jugular there. He was like, by whatever means. Yeah. He could have killed her. He could have, and then she would’ve died. So goggles. But goggles did come off. You’re right. So I’m, I’m, I’m angry for, it wasn’t, it wasn’t grandma man, it was the woman. But I was right about goggles coming off. Right. Okay. Well, points really matter, but I’m giving you one, Link. Okay. Give Link a point. Um. Okay, let’s, let’s take a look at this next video. Is this the same guy? Oh, duck and weave. Oh wow. Look at him. Oh boy. This is, okay. Well he’s in socks. I feel like this might be– To point that out. Might be his first time playing. Yeah, and boxing. Oh, what in the world is going on? His form is all bad. This, it’s a poor form. You going? Mm. I noticed something that happened that I think may inform, okay. I noticed that as he was boxing, he put some momentum onto that rug and the rug moved. So I think what happens is there is a rug pull that pulls the dog into frame the dog, and then, then the man falls and he dies. The dog doesn’t die. The man does. So you, you think there’s a dog? I saw a dog at the very beginning. There’s like a dog, uh, like kind of moving in the foreground. I didn’t see the dog and so I think that he’s gonna move the rug and the dog is back there on that rug and pulls him in. It’s gonna be so funny. It’s gonna be great. I think that he slips and falls because of the socks. Turns the box fan behind him on, and then that box fan blows him completely off the screen. Oh, well, okay. I, I’m looking forward to that. Okay, let’s see. Oh, see, there’s a dog. There’s a dog. See? Uh uh, the dog is boxing. Okay. The dog is gonna get punted. I told you. Oh yeah. Okay. There we go. The dog. The dog bit the bits. And he ended up dying after that. I’m sure. The man or the dog? The man, Hey. But the dog came back. Came back in frame. Yeah. I think that’s a clear Rhett point. It says dog on his board. Yeah, dog. So the man died from getting bit in the bits. Yeah. Right. They didn’t show that though. That’ll happen. Infection, I guess. Uhhuh. It wasn’t. It was a slow death. So he is gonna say something like, was that in the game? I thought I just had my Flippies on, because he’s got his flip flops on and he’s thinking maybe these are haptic shoes that were put onto him at some point. You know what I’m saying? He thinks that, no, that’s in the game. What happened to him? Oh, that was part of the game. Haptic. It was haptic. I think he just yelled We’re outta half and half. Oh, okay. So just sort of like, it just happened to be the time that he realized that. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s see. Right here and this, turn off. Ahh, I broke my bad toe. I what my man toe? Let’s do it one more time guys. Right here at this. You’re on. Ow. Ow, I broke my bad toe. I whooped my bad toe. I woke my man toe. It’s, it’s, it’s a little, yeah. They’re all just wanting to be grandma. And here we got the real thing. Um, there’s a, there’s a, uh, there’s a hint in this one. Wait. You, you act like you know the answer. There’s a hint, I think that the grandma and grandma throws off her headset. ’cause you could see right there she’s holding it. Her hand was there. Yeah, she throws it right at the person filming and that person dies. Okay. Um, I said heart attack, full recovery. Good, good. Stroke. Another full recovery. Okay. All right. Hey, hey. It always ends on a good note. Resilient. Well, let’s see. Now what? That the end? Oh no. Oh no. Here it comes. Here it comes up. It’s foggy. She’s been doing this to me all week. There he is. I don’t know. No one had a hard stroke, but hold on. She stroked her face twice. Yeah, but you don’t get two points for those kinds of strokes. Two strokes. Oh, come on. Okay, you wanna tie?
