- Which best friends know each other better? - [Both] Let's talk about that. (upbeat music) (singer humming) - Good Mythical Morning. - And please welcome to the stars of "Scrubs," which has a new season premiere with back-to-back episodes on September 30th on ABC, our sponsor for today's episode. You can stream it next day on Hulu. It's Zach Braff and Donald Faison. - Give us some of these guys. There we go. (group laughing) Yes, yes. - Four-way shaking us. - Four-way shake. - What do you think about that? - Welcome to the show guys. All right, so we know that on "Scrubs," JD and Turk are lifelong best friends, but we also know that in real life, I'm at least told that you guys are friends. - No, we're best friends. - We're best friends. - Okay, you're best friends in real life. - You guys are lifelong best friends. You guys known each other since you were six? Yes? Is this correct? - 1984. - Okay, wow. - We've known each other for 25 years. - Yeah. - That's at the "Scrubs" table read. That was the very first day we met and we've been inseparable ever since. - Okay, well who's cutest? (group laughing) - We've seen you a few times. He wasn't, where were you hiding? - Occasionally, he goes off with his wife. - Okay. - That's what happens when anybody sees me out in public. They're like, where's Link, assuming that- (people chattering over each other) - Yeah. - They say where's Turks? - Every single time. - Well, here's the question. So yeah, we've got 40 years of friendship versus 25, but you guys have a real friendship and a fake friendship. Maybe that will be even more power that you need in a test of our friendship. - All right. - We'll see. - Let's test it. - Let's find out. - It's time for Partner Poker. Real friends from Scrubs versus real friends, that's us. (upbeat music) - Hello, I'm your partner poker dealer for today, and I have a lineup of questions designed to test how well each duo really knows each other. So for this first round, Link and Donald, you'll choose an answer from the cards in your hand that you feel represent you the best. And then your bros are trying to guess what your answer is. So Rhett and Zach, you just found out your bro has been rushed to the ER. What is the most likely reason for his injury? Inhaled a silver dollar? - [Player] Wow. - [Dealer] Got beat up by a pack of Gen Alpha punks. (group laughing) Dropped a can of soup on his foot. - These graphics are amazing. - [Dealer] Took in a raccoon and got rabies. - No. - Hold on, no. I'm sorry. - [Dealer] Or broke his ankle pretending to go down an elevator behind a couch. (group laughing) - This is nothing like what I expected. (group laughing) - I'm very impressed by the artwork. - Chappy did those in house. - This is real world, man. This could happen to us, I guess, so I'm choosing what I think would happen to me. - Okay. - All right. - Okay. So now I want you to place a bet based on how confident you are that your partner will guess the right card. - You know, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm not really confident that my partner's going to guess the right card in this one. - You better bet a lot, Donald. - I'm going to bet very little on this one. - Okay. Okay. (group laughing) - Can I bet less than a stack? - [Player] Nope. - [Dealer] It's a stack. - [Donald] I got to bet a stack. All right. - Okay. I should tell you something. - Since our friendship is almost twice as long as theirs, I'm going to go with twice the bet. - Okay. - [Player] Okay. - [Dealer] Rhett, I want you to place Link's bet on what you think the answer is. - Okay. First of all, it is a wonder that Link is still with us. (group laughing) - And we love that you're still here. - And that's stuff that's happened on this show, that's stuff that's happened in real life. Very (indistinct). - Stuff that's happened this morning. (group laughing) - You wouldn't inhale a silver dollar just because you don't carry cash. That's the only reason. You could drop a can on your foot, but you really don't cook. You're not really the elevator bit guy because that's like a joke that other people do. You like to invent something new. But the number of times you have almost gotten your kicked by a group of people, that I have been with you and it's never happened. I believe that it is going to happen at some day. So I think you're going to get beat up by a group of Gen Alpha punks. - What is Gen Alpha? - That's like the most recent- - That's like our kids. - Under Gen Z. Under Gen Z. - Teenagers. - Yeah, I was wondering, I was at a concert at the Novo, and yeah, I almost didn't get to see Freddy Gibbs perform because I got into a little spat. - You go out with him, he'll... - And I didn't even know it. - Unintentionally. He doesn't know (indistinct) about- - My friend just came up to me and was like, "Hey, we're going to walk somewhere else now." Why? Oh, because that guy hates me. - You have one of those faces, I guess. (group laughing) - It's more of what comes out of here. But thanks for the compliment, Don. - Okay, Zach. - I don't know why my partner wasn't more confident because there's clearly a card that sticks out for me. Donald's not going to get beat up by anyone because he's a tough dude. I don't think he would inhale a silver dollar. He doesn't carry any cash on him ever. I have to do all the tipping when we're together. (group laughing) He doesn't even reach for his wallet. (group laughing) - Hey, that's a good point. (group laughing) - Yeah. - But Donald recently had a bat in his house and he's also a hypochondriac and a very anxious, nervous guy when it comes to health issues. So even though the bat was just in his house, his whole family got rabies shots. - [Player] Hey! - So I'm going to say it's definitely that. I don't know why he didn't go all (censored). (group laughing) - [Link] You're angry? - Because you got it wrong, Zach. I would hurt myself doing the elevator behind the couch. - Because? - Because I like to, I'm a hand when I'm around people. I like to be the center of it. - We've been talking about rabies for like two weeks, - Bro, I don't want to argue in front of the people. - But he just got the shot. He's not going to die because he just got the shot. - I didn't get the shot. I didn't get the shot. - You just gave it to your family. - Yes. - Because you weren't there. - He wasn't there. - But you made sure the whole family got rabies shots. - Listen, I'm on the same page. I'm a health anxiety guy and I got into a rabies rabbit hole, not rabbit rabies, but just recently. And they say that six months could passed and you got it. And then the first sign- - You're dead. - [Rhett] Yeah. - There's only one word on this whole board that has been in your life the last month since the word rabies. (group laughing) I'm going to flip this tape. - Don't do it. - You don't have to do that because I'm on the same page. Dude, thank you for saying that the elevator bit is below me. - I've never seen you do it. - I'm an entertainer. (people chattering over each other) - There's too much of a structured- - There's a couch. There's people on that side of it. I'm like, "Well, I got to do something back here." (group laughing) - But now that you, I mean, you know this. - [Link] Well, that's true too. - [Rhett] Yeah. - I mean, they're all true. - Okay. All right. Well, we both lost. - Well, that's good, but we lost less. - Yeah. - So there's that. (upbeat music) - Okay. Here's a question for Link and Donald. Hyper-capable cyborgs from the distant future have visited your bro and offered him the anatomical enhancement of his choice. What is he most likely to ask for? - Yes. - Retractable toes. Tickle proof titanium ribs. A neck with 360 degree spin. A 3D printer mouth. Or the ability to roll into a ball like an armadillo. - Okay. - All right. I was waiting for one particular one option that never showed up. - Family show, family show. (people laughing) Well, I love how you guys like teed up the most un-family joke... (group laughing) - Just so we can talk about it. - And then you went full family. (group laughing) - Never go full family. - Never go full family. - Oh, you go (indistinct). Okay. - I already know what it is, I think. - I'm just going to see if I'm missing something, if there's something that you might be thinking. There's some story that I'm not remembering. Okay. I've got my choice. - Oh, you got my choice. - You know what? Three stacks. - Oh, yikies. - I'm feeling insecure about my bro's ability because the rabies thing threw me. - I got you this time though. I already know what you're going with. - I think I'm going to go two stacks because there's a reason I think he might hone in on what I'm honing in on. - Okay. - All right. So then Donald what are you honing in on? - So we do a show called Scrubs, and on the show we've done one where, we've done a couple where his head has left his body. And when his head has left his body, it's gone and done other things. And I feel like in his heart, he would love to have a head that could spin around and see what's behind him, maybe stretch out like Plastic-Man. So I'm guessing a neck with a 360 spin. - So owl vibes. - Owl vibes, for sure. - Owl vibes. Yes, absolutely. - [Dealer] All right. Link, what about you? - Retractable toes, I just can't come up with any reason. Why would you want that? - [Player] To fit into smaller shoes. - Oh, you did think that you were a size 11- - No. - Until you were 47 and then you became a size 12 and then you became a size 13? - No. - Your feet are growing? - I thought I was a size 12 and I was a size 13. I was never a size 11. - Well, I thought you were a size 11. He though he was a size 12, but he was a size 13. - You know what I had that same problem, but I just didn't want to have big feet for my height. And so I was actually, I was squeezing my size 13 feet into a 10. - A 10? - A 10? Yeah, I've been squeezing my feet all my life until I was like, "Oh, what if I just got the 13s?" I was like, "Oh, these feel great." - Feel great. Yeah. Yeah. - That's my size and I'm 5'6. - You're a size 13? (group laughing) - [Dealer] No, 10. - I was going to make the anatomical. - [Chase] Family. We're a family show. - I mean, Jesus. What's going on underneath the table? - Now I might be thinking toes. Tickle proof. We did a tickle test. I didn't think you cared too much. You were pretty good at that. I thought about the neck thing for Rhett. I think the defensive move of it all is intriguing. Rolling into an armadillo, he's got a bad back, which leaves me with 3D printer mouth. The possibilities are limitless. I just think that it's right up your alley to just create stuff with your mouth. I mean, you're a BS artist. - You kind of already do this. - Okay. - Uh-oh. - Okay. Rhett, let's see what you actually did pick. - You should have trusted yourself. (laughing) - I did. - That's right. - I did, yes. You mean I should have bet more? - No, no, that's great. I bet. - Oh. - Yeah. (cash register ringing) - I do a lot of physical comedy on Scrubs, a lot of twisting, a lot of leaning my head left and right. It also happens that I have the exact same hair as that card. (group laughing) - It's your picture. - Okay. We both nailed it. (bell dinging) (group applauding) We're back. - Not obviously an easy round either. - That was my second choice and which is the only other one you talked about. - Yeah, yeah, yeah. - I just can't believe the mind of who came up with these. (group laughing) - Welcome to Mythical. (upbeat music) - All right. We're all tied up going into the final round. So Rhett and Zach, your bro won a radio contest and has been living in outer space for six years. What's the most likely first thing your bro asks you when he gets back to earth? - Six years. - [Dealer] Am I still famous? (group laughing) Kissing an alien isn't considered cheating, right? (people laughing) Can I get a whoop-whoop? - [Player] Oh my god. (people laughing) - [Dealer] Pull my finger? - [Player] Oh my goodness. - [Dealer] Or why aren't you streaming this? - Okay. - Okay. Gosh, this is going to be tough. - This is a tough one. (group laughing) - Okay. So when I think about this, I... - You don't want to say- - [Link] Don't say too much now. - I'm not going to say too much, but when I think about this, I know there's certain things that I wouldn't do, but there's certain things that I might do. - All right. - So I'm going to leave it at that. (group laughing) - That's a good line. I'm going to leave it at that. (people laughing) All right. I got it. I got it. - I got it too. - How confident I am? - I'm at least five confident. - You're at least five. I could go triple. - I could probably raise you- - Careful though. - Another. - [Player] If we're both wrong, we want some chips left. - Wow, Link. You all tough over there, huh? (people laughing) Call. - Okay. - Should I? - Don't you do it. You already called. You can't call after. You can't raise after I call. - It's their game. They can do whatever they want. - Listen, it's only kind of okay. - Can I? - You can do whatever you want. Because if - You're both right, then it's still a tie. - And they pay me, so I let them do what they want. - Okay, let's go. - All in. - Oh, all in. - Okay. All in. Bam. He believes in me. I believe in him. - All right. Fine. It is the last round. - All right. - All in. - Okay. Red? - Okay. You're faithful, man. I'm not worried about you cheating with an alien. - [Player] But look at those lips. - [Player] Unless it's not cheating. - Am I still famous is a pretty good candidate? But I think six years in space might take the edge off a little bit. (group laughing) - While we do regularly fart in front of each other, we usually don't do the pull my finger thing. - I recommend it. It's hilarious. - Just farting is funny, but the pull my finger is usually not. We don't do the whole setup and the punchline. - We do conversational farts. - Right. And so- - "Oh, you got, okay, I got one too," kind of a thing. - So I just think that can I get a whoop-whoop is a very Link thing to say after he's been in space for six years. I mean, I can just see it. - This is tough for me because why aren't you streaming? That wouldn't be down at all. And I don't think can I get a whoop-whoop would be either. But he loves a fart joke. He would definitely be curious if he was still famous. He's also very faithful and in love with his wife, but six years in space, I feel like he might bang an alien. (group laughing) - Wow. - He has a large libido. I feel like if there was a hot enough alien, he would definitely have sex with it. - [Rhett] Oh my God. - Yeah. We've created a ripple effect of trouble for you too. (group laughing) - I'm so curious, but I feel like that's going to be a very good reveal. So let's start here. - Yeah, let's start over here. Okay. Am I still famous? I hope I wouldn't care, but because I would know that I still would be. - Yeah, there we go. - Yeah. They'd be writing articles about you up there. - Thank you for not saying about me what... (group laughing) Yeah, pull my finger. That's not it. You're right that can I get a whoop-whoop is right up my alley. But only if we're already streaming it. I got to have an audience, man, and we got to monetize. I mean, six years of me not getting paid. I'm all about that feti. (group laughing) - Okay. So look, why aren't you streaming would not be something I would say. - [Link] Right. - [Donald] Because- - I don't care. - I'd prefer not to be streaming me coming back from space. I probably have hygiene issues and everything like that, which leads me to pull my finger. I wouldn't want you to necessarily smell my- - Alien farts. - My farts. Can I get a whoop-whoop? I would not say. But dude, you know how much I love my wife. This ain't the Odyssey. (group laughing) I'm not bouncing, a little bit of time. - You're not eating that lotus? - I'm not eating the lotus. - You're telling me if Charlize Theron was an alien- - And my wife was waiting for me at home. (group laughing) - Yeah, just like the Odyssey. - Absolutely not. - I love how he was like, "I'll take six years on this island." That would be you in space. - No, I would not be. I would ask if I was still famous, bro. (group laughing) Because I- - [Link] Yeah, what are we working with here? - Yeah. Like can we still make this money? (group laughing) - So we can play poker with (indistinct)? Yeah, right. - We have both completely busted. - That's it. - Yeah, I mean- - That means now ti's a tie. - This has never happened. - This has never happened. - So do we go into a bonus round? - I think this just means I'm rich and that neither of you guys have good friendships. (group laughing) - I don't know about all of that. We failed together as friends. We, you know- - Yeah, we bonded a little bit. We know to listen a little bit more. - We'd like to go on a double date with you guys. - Yeah. - This is the first happy ending we've ever had. - So that we can resolve this. - Thanks for joining us, guys. - Before we go, I just want to say my assistant, James, is your biggest fan in the world and I want to make sure we give him a shout. James wishes he could be here. - James, I don't know why they didn't invite you. (group laughing) You're invited on the double date. - All right. Check out Zach and Donald in season two of Scrubs premiering on September 30th on ABC. Stream next day on Hulu, and a special thanks to ABC for sponsoring this episode. - Thanks for being your mythical best. - Now you guys say you know what time it is. - You know what time it is. - That camera, buddy. - No, that camera. - [Bystander] He's correct. - You know what time it is. - I'm Hope. - I'm Delaney. - We're in the Shark Bite Capital of the World. - In Smyrna Beach, Florida. - She's the Link to my Rhett. - She's the Rhett to my Link- - [Both] And it's time to spin the Wheel of Mythicality. - Neither one of them has the glasses. - Wasn't that cute though? - Yeah, so cute. - Shark Bite Capital of the World. - Think about people getting attacked by sharks. Hey, Link has a huge announcement that he's going to share with everybody. - My right leg is shorter than my left leg.
