until this Sunday night to submit your video response using the magic piano to cover our song dope zebra and potentially won a pair of mythical shoes yes check out this entry today is a special day I’d like to say happy birthday to my youngest son Lando happy birthday who is turning 2 years old today in my oldest son lock turns 8 tomorrow and yesterday was George Washington’s birthday he turned well he’s dead but we still celebrate his birthday that’s an honor it’s an honor happy birthday to all three of you great men or hopefully one day we’ll be great men should we sing no we’d have to pay rights yeah we’ve done that before last time we sing happy birthday on an episode of good mythical morning we got contacted by the author himself not really but we thought this would be a good occasion for us to reminisce on our own best or worst birthday memories you’re welcome to do the same in the comments now being as we’ve known each other since first grade we have shared a lot of birthday parties mm-hmm to a year I would go I’ve been to every one of your parties and you’ve been to some of mine the years that I considered you my friend well sometimes you would have a party that was like off the premises like with another like another family somewhere like in Benson or something every once in a while ever just relatives yeah you would be like I can’t come to my birthday party cuz it won’t you know it’s gonna be out of town and I was disappointed I would just sit there in my room and celebrate actually I wouldn’t I didn’t do that I remember one one birthday party my knife I’m pretty sure it was my knife I’m not 100% sir and I’ll have to call my mom and make sure but whenever we would whenever we would do a party that it would be a friend’s party it would be and McDonald’s you know in done they had this McDonald’s that had the plane land I mean a friend’s party a party where you invited your friends yeah not the family party yeah at my party with friends where you would be invited and and and some other classmates you had multiple multiple parties multi parties I know I don’t know if McDonald’s does this anymore but they I mean they did it up right I mean if you you might even see Ronald himself come out in you know the Happy Meal would just be you know it will be blown out of proportion for for a birthday plan like two little toys and oh yeah but you know like double toys maybe heartless and there was a there was a ball remember the one had done they had the balls that you could swim in the ball pit the ball pit I mean if that doesn’t make a birthday party I don’t know what the bacteria-laden ball pit so every every year that we had I had a friend invited birthday party I go to McDonald’s but one year I remember my mom said okay we’re doing this but it’s gonna be a surprise this year you’re not gonna know what you’re going decided to mix it up a little might be Burger King and so we get in the car and she blindfolds me oh come on really yeah she that’s cute that’s correct you know lots of intrigue huh for a nine ish year old almost turning nine almost becoming a man you know that’s when you become a man at nine when you wanna you know and especially if you could take a blindfold you know only men can be blindfolded is at least what I thought yeah I’m nine now I’ll take the blindfold guy so where’d you go again on the blindfold and we’re driving driving driving them in the back seat and okay we’re here I fill the car stopped at the parking lot and she can’t she opens the door guides me out like I hear cars going by we’re walking in the parking lot okay okay I hope my friends are here and then I hear the door open and then she takes the blindfold off we’re McDonald’s again and of my friends who were there I was like what yay McDonald’s again ball pit was it like a different McDonald no same McDonald’s but here’s the thing was there anything different about it nothing you were just nine I was nine did she forget about the previous years well I I don’t know I have to call her she was like this year I’m gonna do is I’m gonna make it really exciting I’m gonna blindfold him but I’m gonna forget to change the locale well I love my mom but it gets worse than that Oh turns out that writing and ducking the bump it riding in the backseat of the car blindfolded all the way to done makes you sick made me carsick so I remember sitting down and everybody’s getting their happy meal and I’m like like turn it up pale turn it all shades of green and then I ate the stuff you’re like burping in your back yeah I ate the chicken nuggets and started playing on the stuff and yet you were there you don’t remember any of this I kept it within myself have a bad memory and then it was you know it was cake time and I remember I remember getting up and running to the bathroom and vomiting at my own party to make room for cake no I didn’t need any cake and then I was I remember being really afraid to jump in the ball pit because the last thing you want to do is vomit in the ball well but it does happen and I don’t go in the bone pit and pee and all types of stuff not maybe not when you’re 9 I think out of the ball pit there’s an age limit that’s my asthma as my memory you share yours well I recall my birthday parties not just because they were minded because my parents chose this is pretty much the only time to take pictures it’s like when I look back at my family albums it’s like birthday party birthday party birthday party well as did we do mom and dad nothing we just celebrated birthday parties and that’s when we broke out the camera but you know what they kept a good record of the birthday parties and we’ve got some of the photos here in Italy link you’re in all of them of course I wasn’t I was your friend from the get-go I don’t have to turn that around because we’re gonna show it close up it okay so we can just look at this and you bring it down here so we got to here so this is this is 8 8 years old is that what we determined in oh this is a yeah 8 years old so this is 85 this is the first real birthday that I had after I moved to North Carolina and so I had a lot of friends there okay now those of you watching can you can you find Rhett and can you find me I can find me and I’ll give you a hint the guy who’s like pointing and hamming it up in the background that’s Zack West that was that’s the guy who got facial hair by the time he turned nine and a half I think he also had very hairy legs at like age seven yeah so that was good I was a good birthday week and that’s and that’s not to the right to the left of Zack that’s not me that’s David Rogers though it could that could have been me you’re over my left shoulder there next to Brooks yep and there you are in the foreground at the head of the table now the thing lace of Honor the thing that we did in my house was my mom would either make or buy that list looks like a homemade actually you know what there’s a nine on that cake that was ninth birthday oh yeah so it was my ninth birthday also um you don’t look sick she I’m happy and you can see on my face there I’m excited I like what’s coming next what’s coming over my shoulder a more presents I would always get extra crispy fried chicken from Kentucky Fried Chicken that’s what we did this year and that’s what we did the following year did you ask for extra crispy or is that just what your mom no I wanted it I wanted all that extra crispiness and then this year the next year my pool of friends has decreased significantly but you are still there and this is just not because I had a tough time making friends but you know you’ve been there an extra year and you’re like you know who your real friends aren’t so you don’t invite is a quest the next year you know look at how happy I am to see you blow out your candles like I am really into that it looks like I was a smiley child that’s like a bakery cake that year but then we really upped the ante this is where we’re taking this we’ve got tired of Kentucky Fried Chicken am i and I said I want to go to Pizza Inn and I want to get the buff egg pizza and that was this year and as you can see there we are all of us we posed out front of the pizza we’ve got me Ben link my brother Cole and Brooks now you can see everyone other than Ben is in full sweat suit garb I mean we’re talking top and bottom I mean just a straight-up gray just grey sweats and my brother is him straight up red sweats it was so easy to dress kids back then I had it I had a sweat suit on him I had a wolf pack sweatshirt on see I was you don’t look happy to be there we you sick there was nobody I think my mom blindfolded me to bring me to your party as well and then there’s the interior picture here when we’re in here enjoying again I’m sitting at the head of the table there’s a clown they’re getting ready to make some sort of blue balloons you still don’t look happy you still look unhappy has again my mom blindfolded me to bring me to every party I’m remembering it now and look I’m about to blow chunks right on your your pizza buffet I caught of course I don’t even looked at happy it’s like Oh another pizza my 18th piece of pizza but Dan plays on that clowns head it’s like a confetti wig or like one of those pom-pom wigs but like my brother Cole who is in the full full red sweats top and bottom you know we could have exchanged like if I had red top and gray bottom and he had the opposite we would have been like oh that’s kind of cool but no we’re both in full color sweats but Cole’s eyes are closed in both pictures so all the only record we have of this particular birthday party Cole was either sleeping the entire time I think it’s a self-induced blindfolding so that he could become a man more quickly that was before the flash warnings on cameras so the memories the memories come flooding back read share your memories from birthday past best or worst in the comments and yeah let’s let’s make sure that we take some photos for our kids to reminisce hopefully they look happier than you it’s funny to think that you know our kids are getting to be this age in their friends right we’ve been friends that long yeah I mean my son is turning eight in this picture I’m turning nine I mean we’re almost exactly the same age one year apart let’s spin the wheel in old link see how to end this episode of good mythical morning happy birthday to all of you out there who happen to be having a birthday while you’re watching this you deserve it take off the blindfold and blow chunks everywhere motivational speech we we kept this on the wheel because we enjoyed it so much last last time we did and we think that the two people enjoyed it let’s make this one let’s motivate them to live until their next birthday you know what not everyone can say this but you have a birthday scratch that all of you can say you have a birthday all of you can say you have a mama and just because you’re Jehovah’s Witness and you don’t celebrate birthdays like Michael Jackson did it doesn’t mean that you can’t celebrate one on the inside I know your parents may say we’re not into that we don’t celebrate birthdays we don’t believe in that just celebrate the birthday inside your own heart have a birthday party inside of your heart read the universe into your birthday heart just imagine that you’re sitting inside of your heart and there’s a little piece of cake that’s perfect size for you when you’re inside your own heart and feed it to yourself but watch out don’t stay away from the walls of the aorta because if you if you get in there and you do a little bit of this you can cause a lot of trouble you can have a heart attack we don’t want that to happen I mean especially as a key or a kid but it is your ninth birthday I have no idea what he’s talking about but just add a blindfold and it’ll all work out and breathe the universe back into the universe eat the cake unblind fold yourself run to the restroom as quickly as you can thanks for watching your hope is witnesses don’t celebrate birthdays that’s it was I wasn’t like cracking up I was just a fact it’s a fact
