(rooster calling) (lion roaring) – Welcome to Good Mythical More. you know, the colors through which you see the world determine your mood, apparently. – Apparently. – Let’s test that theory. – But first let’s give $1,000 to Human Rights Initiative of North Texas. Human Rights Initiative provides legal and support services to refugees and immigrants who have suffered human rights abuses and promotes international human rights. Please join us in giving at hrionline.org. (Link burping) Yeah, get a little burp. – Yep. Blood burp. Oh man. I can’t believe that. I mean, when it’s right there in front, you’re like, “Oh my gosh, he can see, this is obvious.” – If I didn’t have your glasses on, maybe I would have been able to tell, but honestly, it just looked like a hot, a big pile of poop and a little pile of poop. Like I couldn’t see. I couldn’t tell that one wasn’t brown. – So you went with the one that had more. Okay. Whatever. – It was total luck. But I lost the first three rounds, so. – Yeah, that’s true, but I more than made up for it. So what’s the deal here? – [Stevie] Did you know that- (stuttering) Science backed research on color therapy is still pretty limited, but… – We can help today. – [Stevie] Yes. And some dentist offices are using them to help calm their patients. – Well, I read Dentists on a regular basis, as I explained earlier. – [Stevie] It’s funny because I recently went to the dentist and I was given colored glasses. I’m not gonna tell you what color, but when I’m looking at this key, ’cause I have the answers for what colors are supposed to coordinate with each thing, I don’t feel like my dentist is on the same page as the color therapy. It might’ve just been a discount on this color sunglass that was available. – I mean, they give you the glasses, first of all so that like the shrapnel from your own mouth and procedures doesn’t get near your eyeballs. But I guess they said, oh, if we tint it, it can make us feel relaxed, happy, serene, confident or strong. How do you want us to do this? – [Stevie] Well, so you guys are gonna color in your little boxes next to the adjective after you’ve tried on the various different colors. So I would suggest that you both try on the same color at the same time, and then- – We can’t do it Stevie. – [Stevie] Oh, there’s only one. – Our budget did not dictate for doubles. So I’m wearing orange. – [Stevie] So I take back my suggestion. – Well, the funny thing is when I put red on, I couldn’t even tell what color glasses you had on because everything was so red. – Yours look black. – I got indigo on. – [Link] That’s purple, buddy. – Purple, but indigo is the technical color that these are considered. And I can tell that you have on orange. Right? – Yes. Now when I’m wearing orange, are these two Sharpie tops the same color to you? Because they are to me. – This one looks pink and this one looks like flesh color. – Oh. They’re exactly the same to me. And then this is- that’s yellow. – [Stevie] Well, I believe the exercise might be, how do you feel? – Oh. Okay. – Now these made me feel a little bit stupid. – And which one of these am I- I’m supposed to use the corresponding color. – What do you think about these? – They’re not on straight. So you did look kind of off kilter. You look unhinged. – I think they’re fit to your ears. – Yeah. I had to bend them around the back so they wouldn’t fall off. And my newer glasses, which aren’t these, I think I need to bend those around the back too, because they’re falling off and I’m losing my Gusto to continue wearing my new glasses. But I am feeling pretty happy. – [Rhett] Hold on. I don’t, well, I don’t want to- I don’t want to see what you do. Don’t tell me what you do. – Okay. Well, I hope you’re not listening. ‘Cause I just told you how I’m doing. All right. – I’m putting them all on before I guess. – Here’s orange. Here’s red. (growling) Oh, yeah. – Just really trying to take in how I feel when I put these on. – I feel very intense. – What’s the difference between happy, serene and relaxed? I mean, this is a little, it’s just semantics at this point. – [Stevie] Link, will you bring your… – My board? – [Stevie] Yeah. – You want to be able to read the whole board? – [Stevie] Yeah. We can’t see the colored boxes. I’m feeling like my brain is not taking in this currently how you’re operating. – Well, I’m wearing red. I’m feeling aggressive. – Maybe if I don’t look at Lincoln. Don’t tell me what you have on. You put something on and then say how you feel. It’s for them and not for you. – Why is what I’m gonna say gonna impact your experience? You’re your own person. – [Stevie] How about this? – I feel intense. – [Stevie] How about we take one color of glasses, one of you- hey! (laughing) One of you wears it. You internalize the feeling, you pass it to the other guy. You internalize the feeling and then you both write down what you felt and then discuss it. – You have to take those off first. – [Stevie] You know what I’m saying? – Yeah. – I feel like I’m the devil himself. Like when I put these on, I feel like I wanna knock skulls. Is that a term? Like someone who’s like a fighter who wants to like get, get into a brawl? – Knock skulls? Never heard of it. – I wanna knock heads. – Knock heads, yeah. – I wanna knock heads. – Bang, bang. – I wanna bang skulls. – I wanna bang fists. – I wanna squeeze faces. – I wanna bloody knuckles. – Yeah. I want to pull skin. – You wanna pull skin? – [Stevie] That is not an option. – I wanna poke eyes. – [Stevie] Okay so now both write down- yeah, what the red made you feel. – Wow. Those all three look yellow. – Here’s your red. – That’s red? – No, you got a red too. That’s also red. – Is this red? It looks nothing. – It looks clear. – It looks nothing. – Yeah. – This one feels pretty strong. I’m strong with this guess. So now again, I don’t like the fact that I think that’s what you also guessed, because I don’t want to be influenced by it. But I was actually thinking that when I first put them on. – So now you start with the indigo. – There’s an immediate positive feeling. I will say that, but I’m not gonna particularly describe whether it’s relaxed, happy or serene. – Are you supposed to wear these indoors in order to feel these things? ‘Cause I just think you’re a total douche bag if you wear that in the house, you know? – I kind of feel like a guy that would like flip you off with his ring finger, like- (laughing creepily) – I mean. – It’s not the bird. (laughing) – Would you- (laughing) – It’s not the bird, it’s okay kids. (laughing) – So you’re flipping off your kids. You are in your own house wearing those sunglasses. – Okay. I think I know what it is. Oh man. That wasn’t easy. – Hey, what’s for breakfast? You know? What’s for breakfast? – Flip them off with the wrong finger. – I don’t like sausages. I do, but I’m not in the mood today. (sighing) I mean. – I’m gonna keep my board turned back around so that not even you will know what I’m guessing. – I feel… – I can’t do that. I don’t have the glasses on. – Relaxed and serene are pretty close to each other. I do think it’s one of those. – I think serene is more a state of mind and relaxed is a more state of body. – Yeah. I feel, I feel loose in my body. Like I can tell that like things that on me that are normally tight, are loose. – Don’t get too loose now. – You know what I’m talking about. – Unless you’re alone. (laughing) – I mean, are you ever just driving a car, and you’re like, “oh, I should relax my butthole.” – You know what? You’ve asked me this question in a different way. You’ve asked me, have you ever just been sitting there and realized that your butthole’s clinched? – Yeah. – And my answer to this is always, no, I’m not anal retentive. And so it’s not a problem for me. My butthole is always relaxed unless it needs- actually, I don’t think about my butthole hardly at all. My butthole thinks for itself. And it’s never gotten me in trouble. – Yes it has. But listen. – I mean I took a crap in my pants on the way to Dollywood one time, but I was sick and my butthole was confused. (Rhett laughing) – I think, but the reason why you don’t know if your butthole’s clinched is because you never think about it. – Yeah, yeah. I don’t think. – I’m trying to get you to think about it. – But should be thinking less about your butthole. – No. Whenever I think about it then, oh, I can relax it. – I’m gonna focus on it right now. I’m just putting all my attention on my butthole. It is relaxed, but not so relaxed as such that poop will come out. (laughing) Like it’s… – Don’t do a hand motion. – The inner sphincter is completely tight to keep the poop on top of it. – That’s involuntary. – The outer sphincter is kind of like ready for anything. – Right, and I think I’m talking about the outer sphincter here. – Yeah. You got to relax that man. The butts clearer. – Yeah. – I said relaxed. – I told you, I’m not telling you until the end. I’m keeping it to myself. – [Stevie] Did you use orange for that other one underneath? I don’t want to say it out loud. – Yeah. Yes. – [Stevie] Okay. So Rhett needs to do orange. – You need to do orange. And I’m putting it off screen. – Hmm. – What are you looking at? – I’m trying to think of the other flavors that we have. – Look at the Gifticality thing. – Because there’s pink left and there’s gold. Yellow left. Yellow and pink. These are, this is all very like- – How does this make you feel? You’re not even looking at it. Come on, look at it. – This is positive. – Look at this. – That doesn’t do anything for me. It’s not how that looks, it’s how I feel. – God, man. You’re testy about this. I think you might need to direct your attention to your anus. Is it tight? Is it too tight? – Okay. These are orange? – [Stevie] Yeah. – Is this orange? – No, these are orange. You’re wearing red. – No, I’m not. – What is that? These are yellow. – I’m wearing orange. And this is orange. – The only way I know that they’re yellow is because Lucas wrote yellow on it, but I will call that orange. But then orange, I would have to call orange-red. – Hmm. – [Stevie] I think this is going well. – I actually am having, I don’t know anymore. – What’s your criteria for things going well, Stevie? – [Stevie] I don’t know if we have time to get into that. – I have two check marks and I’ll have to, I’m gonna mark this one out, this is wrong. Didn’t mean to do that. – That’s fine. You can change your answer. – Now try on another one. Yellow or pink? – Let’s go with pink. So I’m gonna go- ooh. Oh, now it’s- it’s kind of difficult in here because it’s so dramatically lit in our studio. We got this one light. – For the drama. – Just bang in our faces. – Yeah. – But if I look back here… – I mean, it could be more dramatically lit. It could all be side light. – This is subtle. This is pink. Right? Okay. – Okay. I’m not looking. – This is a subtle experience. Yeah, I think that’s my answer right here. – Okay. I’ll put those on. You can go ahead and put the yellow on, which is the last one. Well, this is like, you might do this already. Like a Palm Springs vacation, you might be like, “I think I’m gonna do the pink glasses at the pool, ’cause it’s a little overcast today.” – Oh yeah? – Yeah. (Stevie laughing in background) And you might be like, that makes me feel…. – Because it makes you feel one of these things. – It makes me- – If you want to feel a certain thing. – I think it’s pretty particular. I- man. I’m moving my answer here. (Link muttering) Pay no attention to the check marks. Only pay attention to the color that I’ve colored them in, which is gonna be confusing, ’cause I’ve changed them. – Where is yellow, is this yellow? We haven’t tried on yellow. – [Stevie] Yeah. I believe yellow’s the last one. – Okay. So I’m going in for yellow. Wow! Look at this. Everything’s opening up. Everything is just coming for me here. Jumping out of the woodwork. – How’s your butthole feel? – Feels… it’s you know, it’s at a perfect light tension. Is this, so what am I doing here? – How many of these are we doing in there? – Yellow? Yellow. – That’s really the question. – One. One right now. – [Stevie] Guys. (Rhett laughing) Stevie! (laughing) Stevie’s like, “I have to interrupt. Guys, let’s not. Let’s just not talk about that.” Can I have the yellows? – Yeah. Here you go. All right. Final. Final, final. – Ooh. Yeah. Okay. Process of elimination, but I feel this is consistent. Okay. Now again, pay no attention to the check marks. Pay only attention to the colors that I have colored them in. – Okay so for relaxed, I said it was yellow. – I said it was indigo. – And I had it as indigo but then I changed it. – [Stevie] Guys, before I give you what the actual answers are, I do think that there is a relaxing thing that the mythical beasts at home can do that is definitively relaxing, unlike these glasses. – I know what you’re talking about. You can wear a mythical society onesie. In order to get that thing by the time October rolls around, you’re gonna want to be in a cozy onesie, not too hot, not too cold. We’ve crafted the perfect onesie for adults of all ages. You gotta join third degree, quarterly or annual by September 30th to get that. – Why did I choose the yellow glasses? You can barely even see I’ll put them up there. – So you thought happy was yellow. I thought happy was orange. – I thought serene was pink. – We agreed with serene being pink. – I said confident was orange. – I changed that to purple. – And then I said strong was red. So we agreed on two, and we disagreed on three. – [Stevie] Orange. Orange is confident. – That’s what I said. – [Stevie] Orange glasses make you have increased social confidence, happiness and joy. Like yellow and red, it can be very attention grabbing, which is perhaps why it’s often used in advertising. And it’s energetic, which is perhaps why many sports teams use orange in their uniforms. You know what? Orange is confidence. That’s where we’re- we’re ending it at orange is confidence. So you were correct, Rhett. – Yeah. Mhmm. – Yeah I messed that one up. – [Stevie] Indigo. – Indigo. – [Stevie] What did you guys have indigo as? – I have it as relaxed. – I started out with relaxed. – I had it as serene, but then I moved it to relaxed because I thought I actually felt a little more relaxed than serene, but I couldn’t really tell the difference. – Is it relaxed? Because that’s what we were both thinking and changed it. – [Stevie] It’s serene. – Dang. – [Stevie] It also promotes stillness, internal peace and heightened creativity. – Yeah. It does make you feel good. Is that what your dentist puts you on? – [Stevie] No. My dentist had me in the orange. I guess that he wanted me to feel confident about the dentist. Yellow. – Widely read dentist. – Yellow. I’m not getting any of these. – I said it was happy. – [Stevie] And Link, you said it was relaxed. Yeah. It’s happy. With feelings of cheerfulness, mental clarity, confidence. Well, that goes against what we just- okay. And creativity. – So it can be confident too, you said? – [Stevie] Apparently. Apparently it can. Which you know, it is in that orange family. So I feel like we cannot allow it. – What is this based on? Like surveys? – [Stevie] Well as I said, science backed research on color therapy is still pretty limited. – Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that’s becoming evident. – It’s probably the people who are selling these glasses. Glow FX. – [Stevie] But you guys both guessed correctly for red, which I think has been, you know, we’ve been told that by advertisers, that red is strong. – I’m feeling very strong. – Strong! Strong! – [Stevie] A feeling of vitality, power, self confidence, and safety. – All colors make you feel confident! – [Stevie] And then that leaves pink at relaxed. Reduced aggression and appetite suppression. – Oh really? – [Stevie] Oh, and this is the color that dentist offices have used to relax their patients. I gotta email my dentist right away. – You should have me in pink glasses, Mister. – But really it should be tinted more than that because when they have you looking up, you’re looking right into the lights. – [Stevie] I always close my eyes. I don’t want them to- I don’t want to look at them. They don’t want to look at me. – I close my eyes and my mouth. – You don’t want to know they’re looking at you? – Do you keep your eyes open at the dentist just like this? – Yes, because I wanna know when they’re about to go in again. – [Stevie] Oh no, no, no. You just close your eyes. – I disengage. I completely disengage. – Well the mouth… – I don’t even when they say, “Are you okay?” But I don’t even respond to that. – [Stevie] I had an interesting experience. I know we’re running long but it’s very interesting, at the dentist where the, not the dental hygienist, the dental assistant chose to like, I will say, come out to me. She wanted to really let me know that she was gay right before going in for the procedure, which I thought was an interesting move. – Is she a fan? – [Stevie] You know, we’ll find out after this video comes out. (Rhett laughing) – [Stevie] But there was a lot of like… there were a lot of moments. There was a lot of… – What was the procedure? Was it drilling? – [Stevie] There was drilling involved. – Well there ya go. – [Stevie] There was a lot of, I’ll say, unnecessary lip touching going on. – Lip to lip touching? That’s not normal. – [Stevie] No, no, no. – But it’s okay because she was gay. Is that what you were trying to say? – [Stevie] No, no, no. It just made the whole experience a little bit more interesting, I’ll say. Was there what? – Reaching. And your eyes were closed for all of this? – [Stevie] Yeah, my eyes were closed. – Now who’s your dentist? (laughing) To get the mythical society onesie, join third degree, quarterly or annual by September 30th. Visit MythicalSociety.com for details.
