This is another one of those number Yeah. Your numerical knowledge of locations of things. I love numbers, I need to win something. What is it about you and, like this; this is like this is when you you really, it really gets your, what’s it called? When you- Why did you look down there? Gets your My balls? Gets something from down there to Like my loins. It really gets my loins Start burbling up. I’m sexually attracted to numbers. Yeah. And I just, I lost a confidence that I can come up with meaningful numbers. I don’t know what, many, many years ago, I don’t know what it is. At one point I realized that when people asked me to guesstimate things I was pretty good at it. And then it got fun. I don’t enjoy things I’m not good at. Well, let’s see if you’re good at this. I can still enjoy it. So the first few questions what we’re gonna do is I’m gonna ask a specific place and you’re gonna guess how many locations and then we’re gonna switch it up a little bit. But we’re gonna start off with Fast food places? McDonalds. Yeah. So one of the, one of the biggest. And this is US or worldwide? This is worldwide. And also as of 2021. So everyone who has the latest data, I’m sorry, this is as of 2021. Okay. Okay. Hold on, gimme a second. So there’s probably… Well, there’s 50 states. In North Carolina, there’s a hundred counties. In Harnet County where I grew up, there was, there’s I think there’s three McDonald’s. Three times a hundred is 300. But then in a bigger county with more appetites, there’s more McDonald’s. So I think that’s gonna put you to like 900. Okay. Times another hundred, 900 times a hundred is… 90,000. Okay, I have, I have- I have an answer We’re gonna do 3, 2, 1 though. Okay, I’m still coming up with my answer Because you feel as if you say your number first Link will just No, no, I’m just saying, I don’t- he’s saying numbers out loud. I don’t want to use his numbers. I don’t want him to use my numbers but I want us to say them at the same time. Okay. All right. It’ll be, that’s great. That’s great. I’m still coming up with my number. Alright. 3 2, 1 82,000. A quarter million 250,000. I said 82,000. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard both. Now that includes the ones inside of targets. Inside of targets? I’m trying everywhere there’s one. Now that he said his number is a lot lower than mine. I think my number might be high, but 80,000? They serve billions and billions ‘Cause they’ve been around for a long time. I guess that’s ’cause there’s not as many as I think Well, I don’t know. I don’t know how many This will set, this number will set the tone for the rest of the questions, I think. Because the answer is 40,000. Oh, okay. So I was at 70,000 and then I just kind of like fudged it in the wrong direction. 250,000. Okay. All right. How about- You said 40,000. 40,000. How about Domino’s? I estimated 25,000 in the US and then I said twice that worldwide. So I don’t- You estimated 25 and then you said… oh I got it ‘Cause I was like Canada. Well Canada doesn’t have a lot of people. Like I’m just- that was not a comedic answer on my part. It was just like an ill fated… I just don’t have what it takes. Well, but who cares though? I mean like, you know what I’m saying? Like what is this good for other than entertaining people. I appreciate that, Rhett. In the context. You seem like you care so much I’m like, “Dang, should I care?” No, no. Here’s the thing, Link. This is the thing that I think we both need to understand. Me caring about it for no reason other than just wanting to be good at it. And you being bad at it are both entertaining. And the only thing that we are doing this for is entertainment. But you know what we found out? If you cared as much as me or I cared as little as you, no one would care. That’s right. We’d be engineers right now. Yeah. This is the dynamic that people show up for, Link How could I be an engineer? That’s a great question. Domino’s worldwide, as of 2021 Domino’s worldwide can be less than 250,000. All right, I’m ready. Hold on. Okay, got it. 3, 2, 1. 12,000. 500. I mean I legitimately was thinking 12,000. I’ll give that one You got beat by me, man. I’ll give that one to you. Starbucks See I can do things. Starbucks?! Good gosh. Sometimes there’s two on the same corner All right. I have my answer. Hold on. I’m not gonna say it. Starbucks, you said there was 18,000 Domino’s. 40,000… Starbucks has just been going so hard for so long. Every street corner. But they’re not necessarily as internationally successful ’cause some coffee cultures are very Starbucks resistant. Okay. 3, 2, 1 85,000 33,000 What? 33,000? There’s more than- The answer is 33,000. What? Well, first of all, you got the number exactly right. Yes I did. That’s crazy. Say that again. Well, I mean technically guys, okay, my answers- Hold on, why is it they’re not more Starbucks than there are McDonald’s? Well, it says that they have approximately 33,833. Which guys, you would round that up to 34. Okay. Can I just like- But sure, you’re close enough. I am not lying to you. When I almost said 33,800 I am not lying to you, but I was like, that would be dumb. I’m just gonna say 33,000. I so wish I had just done it. But why? I just thought there were more than McDonalds. I’m gonna go down. I’m going for now on I’m going all the way down to the final digit. Okay. Well this next set of questions is not really numbers based. She’s switching it up. Little Caesars has about 5,400 locations. Panda Express has 2,200 locations. So less than half. Would you be offended? I’m not really into this. Would you be offended if I just kinda checked out and you just kept playing this game? No. Okay. Yeah. I don’t wanna bring you down. I know you’re really into this and it’s just like let’s just see how accurate you can be. I’ll be right over here. I have somewhere I need to be and I’m already late. Not that this isn’t important to me, but like this particular idea is not that important to me. I feel like I’m bringing it down. You’re doing, you’ve done pretty well. Right? This is like the last time you ordered from this place, went into this place. So the first one was McDonald’s. And this is complicated because we’ve been through a, I don’t know if you heard, we’ve been through a pandemic still kind of in it in a lot of ways. And I know that you’ve been very, very careful. You haven’t been out at the frequency. I mean, all these places have drive throughs, but yeah. But you, okay, but so you have been to drive throughs. So let’s start with- Might I remind you of a piece of my life- Cassie? Yeah. The Cassie Factor is what I’m weighing here. And she likes the Filet O Fish which is available every day of the week but especially enjoyed on Fridays by the Catholics. You have been to McDonald’s once in 2022 and it was approximately four months ago. So I don’t remember the last time I’ve been to McDonald’s but McDonald’s has been to me. McDonald’s has been to me Four months ago? And the last time McDonald’s was brought to me was last night. No, you are kidding me. It was last night? Yeah. It’s hard to believe. What’d you get? Well, Cassie was out at a function. She’s out hanging out with friends, not at a function. And she came home late and with her, she brought a two cheeseburger meal. And I, you know, there were two so I had to partake in one and some fries. Dang it. Last night? Yeah, that’s why I got excited. And I said, well, it’s gonna be exciting for everyone. That’s why. Starbucks, you’ve had Starbucks and in in the past, I mean, you’re not a huge Starbucks fan, but three weeks ago. Yeah. I can’t recall. Starbucks doesn’t stand out to me. I’m definitely not a frequenter. So I think that guess is pretty good. But it just happens. You’re like, “Oh sure.” Yeah, but wait, what’s your McDonald’s answer? Shepherd and I went and got the McRib, this past weekend. This will date when this episode was filmed. I was looking for a way to do that. And yeah, Starbucks, I don’t know. I’ve been doing a lot more, I do the coffee at home. Right when I wake up. I love a good coffee at home. Just doing coffee at home. But I mean, it’s been in the past month. Little Caesars? Domino’s too. Domino’s. Yeah. For you, Domino’s, would Cassie order Domino’s? Yes, she would. You’ve had Domino’s in the past three months? I’ve not, I have not. That’s not… ’cause there’s so many other pizza places to order from Yeah, but sometimes Cassie’s like “Gotta get some quick pizza.” You know what we’ve been doing for those, like a late night last minute pizza is Fresh Brothers. Have you tried Fresh Brothers? Yeah, yeah. That’s pretty decent. It’s pretty okay. It’s very fresh. Got a lot of ‘hmms’ back here. Little Caesars though. This is, you know what? We don’t need Link. This is really exciting what we’re doing. This is, when did Stevie last eat at the place? Yeah, Domino’s Shepherd likes Domino’s. We have the app. It can get to our house in 15 minutes. It’s amazing sometimes how quickly it gets there. I’m like, “How do y’all even do this?” So that’s happened like in the past month. Little Caesars, outside of this show, honestly, not since I’ve been in California. Like not in the past decade. Why would you really? Yeah. And I’m assuming the same is true of you. Yeah. I don’t even know if I’ve I don’t know if I’ve had Little Caesars unless it was somehow on the show. I don’t know. Well, there we go. We’re all caught up. Now we can get to the last question. We’re finally here. Chipotle versus Jersey Mike’s Total number of locations. Jersey Mike’s has been around longer than Chipotle, I think. Yeah. I’m almost positive. But Chipotle is significantly more aggressive in their expansion. Sometimes you’ll be, sometimes it’ll be hard to find the nearest Jersey Mike’s. Not for me. These are two, I would say Pretty close? More frequented, Stevie fast food joints. Yep, yep, yep. Yeah. I think Chipotle has a slight edge. You are correct. It’s 2,900 for Chipotle and 2,500 for Jersey Mike’s. Slight edge, see that? Boy, I love, love being right. It is just so fun. Feels good, doesn’t it? Yeah, but it’s not as fun when Link’s not here to see it. To see how right I was about that last one.
