It is a metabolic state that occurs when your body burns fat for energy instead of glucose. The keto diet is focused on getting your body into ketosis. For this test, you’re going to take a really big breath and then exhale a centimeter away from the hole at the top of the device. It will then beep and give you your results. And then I have a little thing. So you want it to like, does it, it just means like how much fat you’re burning. Uh, yeah. And then I’ll tell you on this scale. Cause it’s gotta countdown from now. 80. Yeah. Yeah. And, and it’s actually taking longer than a second for some of those to go. Okay. So all of these get, they go on their side and then what you want to do is you want to place another one. Can I see just how close they have to be in order to, to, to suck? Because you did that. Ketogenic? It, it, the keto diet is trying to get your body into ketosis. Um, because when you’re in ketosis, your body burns fat for energy instead of glucose. But you are. And your breath does stink a little bit, doesn’t it? I think so. So it’s also a way to tell if your breath stinks a roundabout way. I mean, that would be a good test. Does my breath, how bad does my breath stink? That’s what I want to give to certain people as a gift. Oh God. Hahahaha. And you still have to put that one down. No, but you have to pick that one up. I think it’s fairly common. So I think the doctor that you’re going, they both had extensive tests. They went through everything. Right? Well, you need to take this vitamin. This vitamin, it didn’t say a thing about iron. Interesting. So I need to look, but the cholesterol is something I need to look at those other, my other results. That’s something, we’re trying. But you’re. I’m trying to start trying on. You’re, you’re total cholesterol was high and my total was not, but my LDL was my LDL was just over the threshold. I have more information on that. Stuff. Uh, I would love to know. Because Rhett, your total and your HDL were normal, but your triglycerides and your LDL were high. So your LDL, let’s see. It was 1 0 3 at the like doctor last time I went. It means the amount of low density lipoprotein in your blood is higher than what’s considered healthy. Oh, I’m done. So LDL is often referred to as bad cholesterol because having too much of it can lead to a buildup of plaque. Yeah. So you both have high LDL. But what are our numbers? Well, I have to, let me see if I can get that. Let’s make it harder. I don’t know. Because I wanna know if it’s gone down. ’cause that was like 1 0 3. I know it fluctuates a little. And then your, Rhett’s triglycerides were high, which means. I’m cool. It’s a type of fat found in your blood, uh, used by your body for energy. Do you hurt yourself with a, with an eye patch? Yeah. I think this is. Rhett, your LDL is 1 0 1. Okay. Oh, so it’s down. It’s down by, from 1 0 3 to 1 0 1, so I’m heading in the right direction. I think mine was at 1 0 4. I’m looking for yours. I can’t really remember, but I feel like. And that’s down from 125 or something like that, or 150 before. What do you do to, just eating your, changing your diet? Yeah, just try to be a good boy more often. All right, I’m gonna go first now that I only got one eye to use. It is making it more difficult for real. Whoop, that one really wanted to turn. Oh no. I, I was with you one time and you were like shrimp are high in cholesterol, and then you got something with pork in it instead. Well, I, I like shrimp and pork. And also a lot of the dietary cholesterol is not necessarily correlated to the cholesterol in your, in your blood a lot of times. Yeah. Okay. It’s genetics. In order to get into ketosis, you, here’s some ways: significantly reduce your carbon intake. Increasing physical activity. Fasting for short periods, which is, I believe what the keto diet is. Increasing healthful fat intake like olive oil, avocados, nuts. Uh, you know what? Nuts, fish. I’ve been putting olive oil in my smoothie in the morning, and it’s, and that’s one of the biggest changes. For wha? I won. To bring it down ’cause it’s– Oh, your LDL. I’m talking about ketosis. Oh, sorry. I apologize for being such an idiot. Oh. So now we’re doing this. Now we’re gonna do it with, um, chop with chopsticks here. And then are those even chopsticks and eye patch. And I’ll let you have it on your side here. I do need those, that stuff written down so I can, I don’t know, compare it to something, compare it to my other tests. Okay.
