Who can type the fastest? Welcome to Good Mythical More. We are on typing test.com where you can test your typing because, you know, uh, it's a healthy habit after you eat a large meal. Like we just ate it Outback and get the Texas Roadhouse, the blood flowing or whatever. I just, Longhorn. Longhorn. I just, I loved it so much. I called it the wrong thing. We ate at both of those. And now the healthy thing to do after that is what type, now take a long walk. What we're gonna do is we have these to a typewriter, this little typing skills test where we're gonna be given this text. You have a minute, I'll go and then you'll go. And we can go as many times as we want to establish a baseline. And accuracy apparently is part of this. So if like we misspell or we miss the word, this is like, this is like miss pageant. We, we had the same class sophomore year, 10th grade. Right or not. I was gonna ask you guys if you had, was it called computer class? It was called typing. We had a typing class. Were you typing on, what were you typing on? Electric typewriters. We old. And then the next year I took computer applications, which like was a computer and it had Excel and all that stuff. It was like some of the last typewriters that were used. I'm sure they did not do that. After we graduated. Yeah. Okay. Uh, so I'm gonna, lemme get on the home keys. Oh gosh. I'm nervous. I'm, I'm just gonna go for accuracy. And gentle speed. So no, we're, we're gonna bring in crew who are challenging us, so yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is not setting a baseline. This is setting a record that they will never reach. Okay. Uh, y'all are going down. I'm gonna give you a 3, 2, 1, go. Okay. Dedicate this to Ms. Paget and Ms. Pollock. Why am I nervous? 3, 2, 1, go. Alright, keep going. Keep going. Oh, gosh. Why are they talking about Steve Irwin dying? Oh God, this is so sad. This is not typically the way you type though, so it feels like it's kind of cheating. And I think we should do a version where I dictate it, oh gosh, I'm, I gotta go fast, slower, and get it right. Okay. Walled wide. Oh gosh. And now we're talking about O possums. This is, this is wild dude. Ah, gosh. Steve Erwin died and we're talking about possums. I, he's grunting. Oh. Four seconds, four seconds, two seconds. Oh, you done? Ah, Scott, I failed so hard. You done? Dude. I need to come to your defense. If we had an electric typewriter in here, you know, 59 words per minute, 84% accuracy, you're at 50 words per minute. That's pretty good. Okay. All right. You do it. I mean, the fact that I failed, the fact that we can type without looking at our hands is. Pretty impressive, right? I mean, nobody can do that. Like my kids, our kids, our kids can't do that. Just so you know. Our kids can't do that. Yeah, no. You on one on one more. We were talking about Gen Z in general, gen Z or Gen Thinking the ring. I was setting something up for Shepherd last night and I was like, shepherd. You need to watch a tutorial. I was like, have you ever watched a tutorial? Was like fj, KL? No, he's 17. What? What? What type of thing? Like a new software or something? Yeah, like a music software exclamation point. I was like, I'm not gonna teach you how to use this. I'm gonna just set it all up and then you need to watch like a YouTube video on how to do it. Okay. Link, I believe in you because the best score between the two of us is the one that matters. And I'm gonna go again. Don't, don't try to go so fast. No, I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna stay in my zone, you know? It's like I gotta take my jacket off. I'm not nervous. I got so nervous. Isn't no stingrays here. Okay. All right, let's go. Yes, yes. Yes. He's so accurate. Oh, no. No. Yep. Yes, yes, yes. Oh, yeah. It's fine. It's, it's okay. Don't, don't worry about it. Don't get psyched out. Don't get psyched out. Oh, I'm learning stuff too. Oh, you're, you're reading it. Getting tired. Yeah, slow it down a little bit. I don't know where the numbers are. Okay. That was good. That was good. That was good. Whew. That was good. That was good. Good posture. 54, 90 1% accuracy. Okay. One more round from each one of us before you get only one round to beat us. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. 91% accuracy. 54. I think they get an A. You definitely had to break 55. It might've been 60 words per minute. Oh, I was so much faster in, in, in 1992. I think we had to break 60. 92. To get a, to get like an A. Okay, red is ready. Here he goes. You've got that chin down. We got the double R in cooperative. How's that gonna go? Oh yeah, slow and steady. Just keep it steady. I'm not saying you're gonna slow, just steady. Look at that real time correction. I mean, this is just something that you had to learn in the nineties. Whew. Oh my gosh, yes. Keep breathing. Breath. I haven't been breathing. I still do that thing where at the end of a sentence I'll hit period and then double tap. Double space. You don't have to do that anymore. That's old school. Alright, keep going. Speed up. You need to speed up a little bit. Yep, yep, yep, yep. Gain some momentum here. Yep. Yes, yes, yes. Five seconds. But blast through. Blast through. Blast through. Don't correct anything. Don't, don't get anything wrong, dude. That doesn't help. Just so you know, all that you did at the end did not help. Why are you saying, why are you saying naughty? Okay. I was doing great and I was gonna get above 70 until you started pressuring me at the end. Okay. You're no, you wouldn't have, uh, yeah, well, 'cause I was doing so great. I was like almost no typos. All my two typos came at the end. 64. That's pretty good. Ty. Typos are okay. I, I think the problem is if you typo, don't go back. You just, I just have to get more speed. Oh, okay. Okay. Ready? Oh gosh. You started with the typo. Alright, start over. I'm starting over, man. Start over. Oh no. Oh, okay. He's starting over. It's okay. Why did you. I, we'll give y'all two turns. Yeah, we might. We might two. You can't be, you can't be saying I fail you, but you started with a Ty. Look at how easy it's to get a 28. Started with a typo. Alright. A game. You got this? Yes, yes, yes, yes. This is good Speed. This is good. Speed. Yes. Just keep it going. Nice, nice, nice. No reactions. Come on guys. God yes. Just flowing. Just flowing. Halfway. Done. Just keep it, keep it loose. Keep flowing. You're the man. Yeah. Ah, you should ask what's happening. I don't know what just happened there. It's okay. Hold on. You wanna type ass no matter what? Batist on implosion Implosions. Wow. Ah, I 42. It's just like bowling. I'm good at first and then I die. Doesn't We got 64. They can't beat that. They can't beat 64. Alright. Get in here. They can't beat. I can beat that. Who's that? Davin, get in here. You think you can beat this? Uh, yes. I'm pretty confident I can beat all 64. Okay. What is your, what's your training? What's my training? I play a lot of, uh, first person shooter games, so I do a lot of WASD, shift, and all that, but it is very isolated. But you're not tied in that? Yeah. Yeah. You're not that, that's not gonna help you. I do grow up with a computer too, so I, I, I can type without, I, I'm very surprised your kids can type without looking at the keyboard. That's crazy. I think that they, but, but to type properly, you have to be taught, I guess. Yeah. That, yeah. I, I did learn that in school. Yeah. You, you like went to a typing class. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. If you don't go to a typing class, you never have somebody say, don't, no. You have to learn how to never take your eyes off the text. All right, go. All right. Or go when? Whenever you're ready. Here we go. He's not gonna beat us. 'cause of what? Oh, he might beat us. Oh, I'm nervous. Uh oh. Okay. Don't, don't think about us. Don't talk. Yes. Okay. He, his speed is good though. When he doesn't make a, uh, an error. He's very fast. Whoa. He's correcting his error. Whoa, man, this is good. Oh, we got a quote in here. Oh yeah, that's tough. What is this? I'm glad I didn't get that. I don't like how the first sentence has nothing to do with this second one. I don't. I haven't even comprehended any meaning really. No, I'm not thinking about the meaning at all. I'm just looking at the words. Whoa. He just went through those vegetables so fast. He beat me. You think he beat you? Ah, I wanted to finish that sentence. I ended up, so you're watching your, uh, timer. Dang, Davin. 76. Thank you. Get outta here. I can't do that. My average is 80. I just wanna say I can't do that. I'm nervous. I can't do it. You're the winner. So just loom back there. So hold on. So if you're first. Does this mean it's gonna get better? Karley, come on. Let's see what you got. Alright. This is oddly so exciting to me. I love this so much. We didn't. Okay, so Karley, what is your, uh, typing experience? Well, I send out a lot of slacks. I also had a computer class in third grade where they put the cover over our keys and we had to learn about looking. But I'll, I will say. They just get my nails done. So if I don't win, that's the cost of being a badie. You know, I ain't gonna lock in. My heart is beating. So yeah, just take a few deep breaths. We're not gonna say anything. We don't wanna crampier style. Yes, please. But we are gonna be talking amongst ourselves every here. Quietly. Quietly. This is also different than my laptop, so, okay. Throwing out there. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. This is great. This is great. This is great. Wait, lemme start over. Okay. Let let her Start over. Start over. Let start. My heart is being so bad. That didn't happen. Nothing. It happened to me the second time. She did get a six though. They should they What happened? Y'all should have gave me my laptop. Wait, yeah. What is this? This is a different width and, okay. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Okay. Right, right. Yeah. You don't even know where to, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Let go. Ah. She's pretty smooth. Kidding. She's off to home. She's home. She's off home. Row. Oh, we've lost NK nine. NK nine. It won't let me go. It is not your fault. Yeah, we've All right. Gimme a second. Alright. Look, this broken by the body. You're doing pretty good. It's, it's. Okay, so here's what happened. Somehow Karley hit a shortcut. Uh, I don't know if it's KT nine or not. That, uh, completely screwed everything up. Is that what happened? Yes. Monitor, smoked, came out of it. We replaced the computer. It's the price you pay. Yeah. Uh, but now you're back. You're back and you're starting over when you're ready. Okay. I need to control my fingers. Oh, you better go. Okay. Well, border is tough word. It's okay. You border fried from five guys. I'm trying not to press the shortcut. This is the same one I had. Okay. Not she. She's getting back into it now. Yeah. The nails are, the nails are a distinct disadvantage, you know. Yeah, I can't imagine. I'm not making any excuses for it. Very good. I can't imagine it's the freaking jail. You got this? No. I swear I can type better than this. I need to lock in. That's right. It's not too late. These little keys. The capitals. All right. All right. Your keyboard's like big preschool keys or something? It's way different. Okay. Let's see what we got here. Okay. This ain't me. This ain't me, y'all. All right. Listen. Hey. The, I mean, listen, we got different keyboard nails. Yep. We, we might cycle, cycle back through. We'll see. We'll see Karley. Okay. Okay. But right now we're not going to, right now, 76 is, Davin is the one to beat. 76 is just out of this world. And who got, I got 64 on this. We need to get some nails and put 'em on. Davin. No, I got second. I got a 64. You got 54. You got, um, oh, you went back after me. Okay. Hi, I am here. Hey, Lauren. Okay. So what's your, what's your, um. Credentials. I took typing when I was in school and I take all typing tests for fun. Okay, so you guys are just bringing people in here are definitely gonna beat us. You're not even fine. This isn't just a random sampling. Take typing tests for fun. This is your idea. No, it wasn't my idea. Just, okay. I just wanna be part of it. Alright, well we're glad to have you. Okay so far. Okay. Typing tests for fun doesn't sound very fun to me. Be nicer to me. Slide a little closer in, you know, like bullying. You're doing great. So far. Is your, is the keyboard to your liking? Yes. Thank you for risk. Okay. All right. Er, whenever you're ready. I guess I forgot. She's a writer. Oh no. Oh my God. Wow. That's fast. Okay. Oh gosh. Oh no. Okay. Okay. He's blowing us out of the water. Pretty sure I'm done for. Yeah, man. Oh my goodness. I mean, this is, this is, this is better than football. Push forward. This is gonna be close to two seconds. Two seconds. Two seconds. I think she got, this is gonna be close to. I wanna say 99. 99. 99. Worst per minute. That is crazy. That's why she takes some notes in meetings, guys. Man, those typos really made me sad. Yeah, you were. You, you, at one point you stopped cold and just debated whether yourself, were you gonna go backwards and you still got 99. That's called, it's called the hesitation move. All right. Take Davin's place. Dang. Lurk back there. Wow. I'll say this next person. A lot of the crew member, um, recommended her to come in here, so, alright, Nicole. Okay, Nicole. I will not, I don't think I'm the fastest typer here. I think I'm the most passionate typer here. Okay. Alright. Is that, how is that measured? Um, I, Lauren, move, uh, move this way or that way? That's good. Uh, not that far. There you go. There is a website where you can like, make a little race track and then invite people to the race track and then race them. I used to send that out. In, uh, in large channels to make people race me typing. 'cause I think it's fun. Alright, so you want to talk any smack to, uh, Lauren? Oh, no. Lauren and I are very much on the same team. Yeah. Yeah. We've been ing no, there are no teams. Yeah, yeah. Well, but I'm on Lauren's team. I think Lauren's gonna win this whole thing. All right. Whenever you, you're ready. You get to triple digits though. Um, I have yet to do that on this test, so, okay. Well, is the height of your stool to your liking? No. Okay. I just wanna make sure this, because you were looking like very tall. Okay. This is in, this is incredible. I thought you young folks wouldn't be able to do this. They're not as young as we think. No. Millennials should be fine. Yeah. I think millennials are at the top of the typing list. Yeah, that's probably true. Yep. Because you were typing when you were even younger than we were. Oh. Oh. Well, you know what? She knows it doesn't start counting until you start. She knows this already. Oh, no. I'm, why didn't we tell? Why didn't we know that? We know now? You gotta study. She's a corrector. Oh, I'm not. This is embarrassing for me. Okay. Oh my goodness. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just look forward. Okay. I'm crumbling. No, no. Yeah, you still got plenty of time. Thank you guys. You still got plenty of time? Yeah. I think once you typed rock storm, you didn't have any more time. Okay. Now it's just for funsies. Just just go fun with it. I've been doing that the whole time. Look at that. See now. Ooh, that's gonna be in the eighties, probably. Probably eighties, maybe fast. 71. Davin, beat. Davin, beat you. Oh, no. Okay. This is the saddest day of my life. I mean, okay. I'm sorry, Nicole. But what we have discovered is that. Lauren is a scary fast at typing all do we? She's worried about crumbling under the pressure too, and I think she's, she stayed so strong. Who, uh, who, who do we have, who we need to bring out our best chance at beating Lauren Chase. All right. Okay. Chase. All right. Chase, what's your, uh, what's your experience? My experience is, uh, that I, you guys gave me a laptop for. Work. Can I type on it? Uh, I did, I did the typing stuff in school. Alright, raise your seat. You did the typing stuff in school. I didn't sign up for this, but I think we had some people who were better, who didn't show up today 'cause they're sick. So I'm, uh, filling in and we're, I don't know where the, where the lifting thing is. I think the main thing I feel bad about right now is that we just didn't really get our, make sure our kids learned how to do it. Yeah. What are the other things you feel bad about? Uh, okay, let me see. Let's just go through, I can come up with you hat. How Rhett spoke to Lauren. Yeah, yeah. Feel bad about that. I feel bad about that. Oh, look at Chase. Just, just trotting on through. If I were talking about like freeing people who've been falsely convicted and then all of a sudden a parrot named Willie, well, this is the kind of stuff that happens in life. You never know. You never know what the particular case that you were St. Sting will involve. Oh, a baby began to chug. Uh oh. It's still pretty dang good. Parrot. The parrot saved this, the choking baby's life. This is not Lauren level, but this might be. That was smooth. Huh? I was holding my breath. 77. 77. You just edged out Davin for second place that made you happy. Yeah. That's important for me. So, okay, so looking at this here, uh, 99 is considered pro. Lauren, you're the only one who's considered a pro. Davin, Chase, and then who also got 71. Nicole. Nicole, you're all fast. Okay. Uh, fluent. My 64 was fluent. It's gone now. Yeah. Um, average. This is tough. This being tough. You were also in fluent with your, with your 50 something. Yeah. It, it is interesting how people who know how to type take pride in it. Like we take pride in our typing. Yeah. But give up your seat to Lauren. Yes, of course. Lauren. Get back in here for the final applause. Yay. And, um, I don't know, just, um, I don't know. Do a little typing. We have a champ. Now, we challenge Smosh.
