Who can make the best snack combo? [music] Welcome to Good Mythical More. We are going to combine stuff items, food items from food places, gas station or uh movie theater, other places to see what like three things you would get at each place and I would get at each place to to come up with the best snack combo. >> Creative combo. >> You know when you go into a gas station and you're like, I'm I want to eat a snack meal. I want a drink. I want a snack, but then I want another snack. >> I want to really treat myself. >> That's what we're exploring today is the >> If you have these items at home, feel free to eat them. >> We don't. >> We just ate a lot of stuff. >> Let's see the first grid. >> Okay, >> gas station. >> This is just at a gas. So, we get each row. You pick one thing from each row. So, you'd be like, "All right, my combination is C4A or whatever to get the sandwich, the Cheetos, and the the uh powdered donuts, which are on there." Powdered donuts. What is D on the top row? >> Two [clears throat] hardboiled eggs. >> Oh, hard-boiled eggs. Okay. All right. >> So, this gas station, you know, it's got the um an A. It's the the roll of What is that? An egg roll? >> You It's one of It's like a taquito >> or a taquito. Yeah. Hot dog, sandwich, pizza, >> or the little tacos. >> Mini tacos. >> Mini tacos. >> Okay. >> I'm I think I'm gonna I think I'm going to go with those hard-boiled eggs. Isn't that weird? >> It feels like >> You don't even like hard-boiled eggs. >> I don't hate them. >> You don't like the yolks? >> I like I like it with a lot of pepper on it and it's it's good for you. It's the best. It's the healthiest option. That's your standard now? [laughter] >> I don't know. You know, I'm in gas station number one and I just see these eggs and I'm like, you know what? I'm going to go for it. I bet you they have pepper packets. >> I'm going with pleasure. I'm I'm making the pleasure uh call here. >> Pleasure pick. >> Pleasure pick. I think I like I like a hot dog that's been sitting on some rollers in a gas station. You know, roll it all day and roll it right into my mouth. >> I mean, [laughter] I I really think I could go the rest of my life without eating a hot dog. Well, that's your problem. >> How long do you think you can go without eating a hot dog? >> Oh, I hardly ever eat them because aren't there, right? >> I eat a lot of stuff that's not good for you, but I try to avoid really processed. Like, hot dogs are so It's such a processed meat. But >> But you love them, right? Is that what you're saying? >> Yeah, but I can't. >> Could you go the rest of your life without eating a hot dog? >> I mean, I've probably gone four months without eating one. So, I mean, yes. >> Four months is the longest you've gone without eating a hot dog. I mean, they just come around, you know, a >> as we have well established, Christy can count on one hand the number of hot dogs she's eaten in her entire life. >> And I think she as a kid, >> yeah, I think she would actually like the taste. I think >> she knew what a hot dog perception. >> She was scared of what was in a hot dog, so she would just eat mustard sandwiches as a kid. >> And she still doesn't eat hot dogs. She won't do it. She may have only eaten one in her entire life. I don't know. I really enjoy them, especially when they're done kind of creatively, but even one like that I would like. >> For the second round, >> well, because here's the last thing I'll say about that is because that pizza for instance, you might think, "Oh, just go for pizza." But hot dogs hold up in a way be it's like a hot dog that's like straight out the grill, straight out the microwave, or straight off the roller for after 12 hours. >> They kind of all taste the same. Yeah, I think that's what makes like veggie hot dogs the best fake fake meat. [laughter] Like veggie hot dogs taste so much like real hot dogs >> and pizza gets compromised. The other stuff gets comprom. >> Yeah. >> All right, that's fine. Um, for the second one, I feel like you might want to go with pickle in a pouch because you're a sucker for pickles in pouches, aren't you? >> Yeah, but those Takis Fuego, good god, they're good. I mean, they taste like somebody did a trick in your mouth. You know what I'm saying? I just when you eat, let me explain. >> Like like tied a a cherry stem together. >> Well, that's one way to say it. >> Like tied a knot in one. >> Like somebody did something that nature can't do. Like a scientist did something to your mouth with with some kind of like chemical. >> Okay. >> You know, and and it's like, whoa, I can't. Nothing tastes that good in nature. That's what a Takis Fuego tastes like. And I like that purple packaging. >> Number six, sunflower seeds have no business being in this because you're not going to eat those as part of a snack dinner. >> No, you'll do it with your boiled eggs. >> It would be weird. >> Yeah. I mean, >> I'm going to put the Takis on the hot dog. >> I'm going to line the side of the hot dog and the other side of the hot dog and the middle of the hot dog with Takis. That's a good idea. >> Yep. >> I'm going to take the Cheetos puffs because those are deceptively good. >> They're good. >> They are just good. And what you you can put one in your mouth and then you can just let the heat and moisture from your mouth just like turn it into nothing if you're patient. I like to do that after I've swallowed a couple of hard-boiled eggs. [laughter] Last row. Well, we know >> we don't we don't like powdered. But what about the >> It's a sack. >> What is it? The sack is good, but what about the chocolate little donuts? >> Also good. >> Those are so good. >> My family >> in a weird way. >> My family would have these like this is something my my dad would get, my mom would get >> both both sacks. >> But they would get one of each. >> One of each. And then you eat them together. >> Donets of each kind. How are you saying that? >> Donets. That doesn't seem right. donuts cuz it's a donut. Yeah. >> Well, we went to school with a guy who mom donette. >> Yeah. >> Okay. [laughter] >> I mean, you ever you ever met a donette? >> You got me there. >> Donette is a good name. >> You ever met a donut? >> Twinkiey's overrated. They almost went away. We helped bring him back. He's >> Otis Spunkmire. Wild blueberry. It's a blueberry muffin. >> I don't want a blueberry. >> Grandma's peanut brittle. Have you peanut butter cookie? Have you had that peanut butter cookie? Have you had that D? >> Is it crunchy or is it soft? >> Sorry, I didn't mean to say. Have you had that D? >> I like fudge stripes. I like those. I'm going to go with the fudge stripes just because it's a blast from the past. The whole bottom of it is fudge. >> I'm dnetting it. I'm detting it up. I can't help it. >> But you just talked about how much you hated powdered donuts. >> No, I just said they were the worst donut. But I I just think that the little ones a >> worst donut is better than everything else here. >> Yeah. Well, I mean I don't I'm not a Twinkie guy. I >> You win this round. I'm eating what you made. >> Oh, a hot dog with Takis on it and then some donuts. Yes. Welcome to the club. >> And are you going to eat what I >> No. >> Right. I will say now now that we both drive electric cars, we don't I don't go to the gas station anymore. I I realized that recently when I was in North Carolina driving a rental car and getting it filled up that I was like, "Oh, I'm at a gas station." Like I don't >> I don't do this anymore because there's like when you get your car charge, which I do at home almost exclusively, but even when you do it like at like you're you're like in a parking lot somewhere at some >> Yeah. dongle. You know, there's no place to [laughter] there's no place to get a hot dog. >> Why can't they sell hot dogs at the electric dongles? >> One of those like drive-thru car washes at the gas station and quickly eat a hot dog beforehand or get it and eat it in the in the wash. >> I mean, I could I could do that. >> Let's see the next one. We're at a diner. >> We got a bunch of drinks and floats. Then we got sandwiches. And then we got sides. >> It's tough not to get coffee at a diner, but we're just assuming you're saying I can't get anything else. Getting the milkshake as your drink is a bold move. >> Well, they give you water. >> So, you you're going to get a water. I feel like I want to start with a middle row and then >> Okay. >> Because none of this is breakfast, I don't think I'm going to get coffee, you know? Uh, what would I get at a diner? Just a burger. You can get a really good burger other places. cuz I don't really get maybe a patty melt at a diner. >> Patty melt all day every day. >> Maybe a tuna melt. >> I love a patty melt at a diner. The patty melt at Waffle House is good. >> It is. And they have so many of them now. >> A Reuben is is is great. Reuben is one of my favorite sandwiches, but something about it being stacked up against those things. I'm I'm going towards the patty melt. >> Well, I already chose it, so you got to choose something else. >> Okay. I choose the Reuben. [laughter] You know what? I want you to have the patty melt. >> Well, then you can have the Ruby. >> No, I'll take the tuna melt. >> Okay. >> I'll take the tuna melt just to mix things up in my life and not to have so much burger in it. >> Okay, last row. I would get onion rings. I feel like you probably would. >> We can share. What do I need with a tuna melt, though? Are the fries good or are the fries just meh? They're probably meh. Those onion rings. >> The onion rings are good, but the fries are meh. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, those onion rings look good. Cole saw a cup of soup. >> How come there isn't somebody set up at the electric charging stations with a little little shop selling stuff? Why >> dongle dogs? >> Why is it not happening? Like you you got you got all these people and they're there for longer. They're sitting there and their car is like, should I get out? because it takes longer. Get a hot dog, dongle dog. Like, >> why are we not selling things to these people? I'm going to set up one of those hot dog carts out there. >> One of the Dodger dogs. >> Mhm. >> You'll see me out there. I had a guy chase me with a hot dog cart one time. [laughter] >> I got out of the uh He was like, I know you're a big man. I gota I don't know if it was the Greek theater or whatever, but like it was one of those situations where there there's like everybody with a hot dog cart like with the little hot dog carts were lined up and ready to go and he he looked he knew I was a hot dog guy [laughter] cuz I think he saw me look cuz I every time I get out of any live event in Los Angeles they those people know I want those so bad. And I tell Jesse as we're walking I'm like don't let me get a dog. Don't let me get one of those bacon wrap dogs. Don't let me do it. And then they just they look at me and this guy chased me down and eventually I gave in and I got one. >> Well, I mean I I don't think they smell good. Something about it smells weird to me. >> What? >> I like tacos. >> A dog. >> I want a taco. I don't want a dog. >> Big old beef dog wrapped in bacon. It's great. >> Christiey's rubbed off. >> Straight from the gods. >> You know what I mean? >> I'm going to go with home fries. I'm at a diner. I'm going by home fries. [laughter] >> Tune them out. Home fries. >> What did you say over there? >> Dongle. >> Just reacting to Link's comment about Chrissy rubbing off on him. >> Oh, wow. [laughter] >> Yeah. Yeah. That's good. That's good. You're supportive. Um [laughter] because I got the tuna melt and I think that might feel healthy. I'm getting a vanilla shake. >> I'm not thinking about health. Uh, a root beer float. >> A rubber float. >> I love the [laughter] I love the idea, but they're always a little bit disappointing. Did you say vanilla shake? >> Yeah. >> Wow. What a loser. >> It's just It's just It's pristine. It's just >> I'm going to go chocolate shake cuz I'm human. And I'm going to get the patty. Did I say patty melt onion rings? That's a great meal. >> I'm not taking yours. I'm >> Nobody's rubbing off on me. I want I really wanted that patty me vanilla shake patty melt and onion rings. That would have been my jam. Next one. School lunch summer school lunch at the religious school. [laughter] All right. I've we did an episode on mythical kitchen where they made updated version of our school lunches. If you haven't seen that, I'd recommend checking it out. I had PB&J. I feel like I have to go with that. I do not know what Bosco sticks are. Is that just mozzarella sticks? >> They're like cheese fil bread sticks. >> Really? >> A cafeteria standard. >> Huh? Bosco? >> Yes. You can buy like big boxes of them frozen. A lot of nostalgic millennials do. >> Really? Anybody else from the south heard about are these Bosco? Moren's from like Chicago, [laughter] >> Wisconsin. >> Wisconsin. So that makes sense. They cheese everywhere. I think there's a lot of weird like regional school lunch things. Like did anyone did you guys have any uh milk in bags? Like the single serve milk in bags? >> No. No. We had a milk cartons. >> I heard that's >> Julian. Julian had milk in bags and so did Caitlyn. So art department people. >> Did y'all have sweet acidophilus? >> No. >> It's like a pink. You had >> It was red. It was red. >> You had regular milk and then you had chocolate milk and then in the middle there was brown and blue and then in the middle there was a pink. >> No, it was red. I got it every time. >> Red. >> It was a red red and white car. Red milk. Sweet acid. >> I was so scared of it. What was it? >> I don't know, but I got the sweet ass every time. >> It said sweet acidophilus. >> I got it every time. >> What is that? >> I don't know. It's so Look it up. The funny thing is this is like the quintessential like >> acidophilus. >> This is the exact representation of our personalities, especially when we were young. They introduced a new milk. >> Yeah. >> You never drank it and I only drank it. It's like I saw this thing. I was like, "Oh, it's red. It's different. >> It was milk. There was nothing different about it. I think acidophilus is just the bacteria that's in it. >> You know, it's just a >> It's probably just a little bit more probiotic. >> Probiotic >> in the 80s. >> It was probably like >> Yeah, it's to aid digestion. It's like cultured. >> Yeah, it was some kind. >> Is it for lactose intolerance? >> No. >> Lactose intolerance fast, >> but it like adds some vitamins. It's easy easier to digest. It's why I'm so tall. >> They could have called it something better, you know, >> cuz I got the sweet acidophilus the whole time. >> Why you want to drink anything that has the word acid in it? >> Acidophilus, man. >> What is that? You know, I'm a kid. >> Bacteria square pizza all the way. I love it. Okay, now I'm torn. I mean, this second one is the banger row. We got applesauce, pudding, and tater tots. corn. [laughter] I love a little square of corn on a tray. I'm going with the applesauce container cuz that's what I had every day. >> But I think I am going to go with tater tots actually. So I'm going to go E2 and then I'm going to go sweet acidophilus. I'm going to go off the reservation and find the sweet acidophilus. It's not there. But if I cannot get to the sweet acidophilus, I'll go to the chocolate milk. >> Yohoo tastes like chocolate milk that somebody peed in. A little. Just a little bit. >> Not a sponsor. >> You know how when you laugh too hard and then you get a little in your pants? >> Uhhuh. >> That's what happens. >> I didn't mean to turn the mic on. >> A yoohoo bottle. [laughter] >> There's a guy at the end of the chocolate milk plant who every time he laughs it dribbles into and then they send that down. They >> another yohoo. [laughter] >> Yoohoo. >> That's how they make it. That's why there's that's why it's hard to find cuz he's actually gotten better at bladder control. And every time he does it, he looks at his manager goes, "Yoohoo!" In other words, [laughter] >> drip a little bit of that sweet acid dot. >> Oh god, I'm never going to have yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo again. God. >> So I'm A1 B. That's me. >> EB. Oh no, I took the B. >> You went off the reservation. >> E N A. All right, next one. Movies. >> Butter popcorn. Unb buttered popcorn. I hate those nachos. Pretzels. You got the hot dog. >> I don't do a hot dog at the movie theater. I'm not a barbarian. [laughter] >> Butter popcorn, right? >> Buttered popcorn. But light butter or no buttered? >> I go light butter. >> Well, then go with B cuz I took A. I I go with light butter because you get when you get buttery hands in the dark, you mean that anything can happen at that point. [laughter] >> Sounds good to me, >> you know? Like it does. It does. Anything. >> There's a reason why the seats are made of cloth. They're napkins. >> Yeah. People are rubbing [laughter] rubbing. Speaking of rubbing off, >> people would just rub off on those theater seats. If they were leather, you'd slip right off of them. >> I think I'm going for raisinets. >> Interesting. Raisinets are good in the movie theater. >> I like them. They're soft and mushy and >> All right. >> They with the way that they're coated in chocolate. There's like a little belly button on them sometimes where the chocolate like leaves a little hole where you might see a little bit of raisin. >> Some So, we're talking innies. >> Yeah. Every single thing on this row is good except bunch of crunch. I don't know what that is. >> I honestly could skip this row entire crunch. >> I mean I I know Nestle Crunch. >> What's in the middle of the crunch? Just a bunch. >> Little balls of crunch. >> I'm taking that one. >> It's like the Yeah, it's a little crispy. >> Never had that chocolate. >> I like mixing. >> Y'all make me want to try stuff up. >> So, [laughter] have you ever taken the peanut M&M's? And you can also do this with Reese's Pieces and just take the whole pack and dump it into your popcorn. >> Yes, sir. >> Yes. That is so good. And when you get the bite of the popcorn with the candy, >> I don't want that. >> Lord, it's so good. But the combination, it creates sweet. >> It creates a flavor that doesn't exist elsewhere. >> You know, you made a new thing. It's so good. And of course, they don't have what I want from row three. Unless you can take the caffeine out of B. >> I'm going for D. Fanta. It's a treat. I'm treating myself. Last one. Gas station number two. We have another row. >> All right, we got to make this a speed round. >> What's a gordett? >> Oh, that's the um the bagel slices. I'm taking >> Oh, the part that comes from the checks mix. >> I'm taking the pizza combos for Christy. Those are her favorite. >> I'm going Cool Ranch Doritos. >> That's a good choice. >> Oh, nerds. >> Nerds clusters. I got it. Nope. I got it. I took it. >> Uh I have the peach. I'm going to take the Gold Bears. The Harrybo Gold Bears. I love those >> more than the peach rings. >> Yeah. Different flavors. >> All right. And then I am going with a >> I mean it's got >> Kit Kat Classic. >> Oh, over B. I'm going Reese's Peanut Butter Cups all day long. That's really good, though. You know what? I'm I'm I'm going for the Twix. >> Oh, and I'm that that >> Twix is so good. >> Oh, that Frappuccino. That prepackaged Frappuccino. It's >> so too too sweet. >> I know, but it's so good. I never get it, but I had one one time and I still think about it. Why would I have a Gatorade after all this? [laughter] >> You wouldn't. I'm I'm going to get a Celsius just for the caffeine of it all. Okay, our trip is over. Shop the new Last Meals collection now at mythical.com.
