80s if it hadn’t been called inexplicable enigmas you can’t even say right I mean you said stack probably Gooden you say that enigma I’m nygma there is a now Roberts in Russia there is a shortwave radio station called uvb-76 also known as the buzzer since the late 1970s it has been broadcasting a short buzz tone repeating I actually kind of got that part like Robert Stack it’s the only part a short buzzed tone he does that thing that’s the only part I can get repeating at 25 times per minute for 24 hours per day 25 times per minute it sounds like this link okay exploding Li sounds like I’m driving in the rain there’s a semi truck behind me blowing its horn or constantly passing you in this horn BRR now there’s no Doppler effect a little bit okay so now first of all many of you this is already know about the constant broadcast of that for 40 years yeah and this is a huge thing on the Internet this is one of those things that has been conjectured about there’s aficionados there’s websites you can go to that do a constant live stream of this station that has been doing this for over over 30 years like since the late 70s oh I thought you said 40 well it’s close to 40 years so okay Oh sometime in the late 70s you don’t know exactly when it started but it was discovered and recorded in 1982 and it’s been you know this enigma ever since and it’s just that it’s just that there’s some interesting details burn so are that but then every once in a while like very rarely like not even every year all of a sudden you’ll hear somebody talking like a guy broke in and was like uvb-76 it was Russia now uvb-76 75 5975-5987 a Tatiana oh so Oksana on Alina shuka I think he’s calling the roll yes class he’s teaching class mm-hmm no it’s you know his numbers and letters like a code right well mm-hmm this happened repeatedly but there was also this weird thing that would happen somehow like audio experts were able to establish that it was being recorded by a microphone so literally there was a but I don’t know how they figure this out but there was a buzzing sound that was being made by something that was being picked up by a microphone and that was what was being broadcast because sometimes you would hear people talking in the background saying things about like the research or something like that very lost ish oh wow then people is just huge things so people started trying to triangulate this signal they triangulated it to a military base in Russia and in 2010 the signal source moved and they shut down the military base where it had originally come from and a group of urban explorers is the way that the article describes it there’s article on daily doubt about this okay went to the triangulation spot and found a room where the signal had been emitting from and it had a radio log for the frequency that uvb-76 was broadcast on so showed that okay somebody was here managing this it was on a military base so I kind of took a little bit of the mystery out but then it moved to a new location and now that when they try to triangulate it there’s like three or four different locations around Russia that they can isolate it to but not one but another thing happened in 2010 when they moved the signal every month they started getting a weird new broadcast sometimes it was like a snippet of Swan Lake sometimes it was a woman talking and so as the more frequent so I mean it could be a hoax anybody with a hammer idea but for forty years people live that long so but why was why would it be at a military base so the best the prevailing exercise home because if you read this article in daily dot you’ll see that they also found a plaque somewhere in a military place in a military building or a government building that had the frequency and like kind of acknowledge that it was in use for government purposes something like that if you’re an expert on this you’re going to know that I’m sound like an idiot but the bottom line is is the prevailing theory probably the best theory is that it’s being held for use by the Russian military and the reason they put the on it is because it makes it an undesirable signal to use because they’ve basically resumed observing it with us buzzes yeah but I mean still all these people are interested in it and you can go I don’t know why you would want to have this like going maybe you know we can get some white noise here and it would be this buzzing sound it might be a recruiting mechanism for clue solvers like the imitation game i watch that reminiscing that oscar-nominated
