MK 1068: How is EVERYTHING tuberculosis?

I don’t know if you know this, but Everything is tuberculosis. Can I name a couple things and you tell me how they are related to tuberculosis? With pleasure. Taylor Swift, she’s got that song. Um, you know the one. Oh, of course. Yeah. Yeah. Take me to take me to the lakes where all the poets went to die. The lakes in question are in the Lake District where all the poets went to die. Like the 19th century British poets who had tuberculosis would go to the Lake District to recover. And what they were dying of, of course, was was TB was almost always consumption. So, postpunk revival band France Ferdinand. France Ferdinand is named for an actual Archduke, the Archduke France Ferdinand, who died tragically, uh, causing World War I, or at least was sort of the person who set off World War I. The the the three people who were most directly responsible for assassinating Archduke France Ferdinand were all dying of tuberculosis and they knew they were dying of tuberculosis and they wanted to die for a great cause rather than just dying of a disease. And um this is part of the reason of what motivated them to be the assassins of Arch Duke France Ferdinand, thereby setting off World War I, but arguably more importantly giving the band France Ferdinand its name. UCLA football. Do you know where UCLA plays their home games? No. It’s a stadium called the Roseb. Are you going to connect it to tuberculosis for me? I was trying to lead gently lead the horse. The Rose Bowl is in a city called Pasadena, California. Pasadena, California. It was founded as a tuberculosis colony. Pasadena, California was was known as the land of new lungs because people would go out there to try to heal their lungs.
