MK 25: I Finally Broke a World Record!

(Josh gagging) – I can’t stop it. You gotta suck it up. – No, no! This is a terrible idea! Lucas, Lucas! Just turn off the thing! – I can’t turn it off! – Turn off the gravity, then! (triumphant music) – There are a lot of obscure world records out there involving food, and I’m gonna find the dumbest, the weirdest, the most insane. And I am going to try and beat them. The keyword so far has been try and the other keyword has been fail, technically. But I think I found one that I can beat this time. This dude named Andre Ortolf from Germany. He’s one of the those, like, serial record breakers where his entire identity is based off of breaking these records. He’s put on the most jumpers in 30 seconds. He’s run the fastest 100-meter dash in a pair of wooden shoes. But he’s also eaten the most baby food in one minute. Two pounds, five ounces. If I do not beat this, I am not coming back for work tomorrow. You are guys are laughing in the background. You won’t see me again, if I don’t eat all these baby food, which is a weird thing to say. Let’s watch the video. (air wooshing) On the one hand, baby food is gross. On the other hand, it’s slimy and it will go down your throat fast. That will rocket down your throat and that’s what you need in a challenge. He’s using a spoon. He’s really shoveling. He’s kind of lapping it up like a dog. There is a wh– (laughing) What a slow mo! Right now, he’s flicking his wrists, he’s lapping it up. I think he’s not using enough sucking power from his mouth. And his wrist flick action needs to be quicker. Like, I know I can, like, butterfly. You know, I do a lot of jump rope training. And so I think, like, if I have the quick turnover on the wrists, kinda getting a little floppy action, like that, I can do it. Advantages he has, that German ingenuity. Advantages that I have, American pure aggression and spite. Also, girthier torso. This is really a game of girth, wrist speed, and who wants it more. Ben, I want it! I want it more! Gotta fight! I really have to beat this one, dude. (air wooshing) All right Ben, we gotta go over the rules. First off, store bought baby food, to dispel any suspicion of tampering. Second off, needs to be a mixed fruit flavor, which is what he used in the video. So, we got this beautiful melange of fruity baby food. Third, there needs to be an independent, third-party time checker. And also, a swallow confirmer, to make sure that I am not just chipmunking it. And then lastly, the official record, 1,050 grams or 2 pounds 5 ounces in American. But there is nothing about the vessel in the official rules. So we don’t necessarily need to use a spoon and the bowl, and that’s a loophole I plan on fully exploiting. But before we get to that, we need to find a completely average Joe. Someone who has not eaten the quantity of baby food. I was a giant baby. I’ve really sucked some of that down, and I know I can recall that memory. We need to find someone without the mid-section girth or the wrist flicking abilities that I have and have worked to develop. We need to find him. (air wooshing) Chris, how are you feeling today? – I feel pretty good, so far. – [Josh] Are your sucking muscles feeling strong? – Yeah. – Okay, so we have to weigh this baby food. 1,686 grams. The world record is 1,050. So if this is less than whatever the subtraction of that is, I don’t know how to do math, and I can’t technically read. You are the official world record holder. You can do it, Chris. – [Chris] All right. – Are you wearing a diaper? – I am not wearing a diaper. – I am. – Oh! – [Josh] All right, let’s do this. – Is that a disadvantage for me? – Sure is. Three, two, one. Go! Nope, wait, stop. I hit the wrong button. That, it was the button that says start. I hit the button that said reset. In three, two, one. Suck! Slurp it down, Chris! He’s moving! I’m impressed. All right, you’re 30 seconds in! You’re half-way there. Keep going, Chris! The second half of the race is always the hardest. You gotta dig. You gotta dig! You gotta want it! 42 seconds. – I have to breathe! – Are you gonna let your body tell you what to do? No! You tell you what to do! 10 seconds. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. One. Spoon down! Oh, I need to check your mouth. – Ah. – I don’t wanna put my fingers in your mouth. That’s weird. I see you brushing your teeth in the office bathroom all the time. You have a clean mouth. – Thank you. – All right, there is no baby food inside his mouth. There was 1,685 grams in there officially. Chris, you just ate 876 grams of baby food in one minute. That would be second all time, only to this German guy. That’s incredible, man! What did you learn from that experience? What were your emotions? What were your fears? What were your hopes and dreams while you were doing that? – I was actually surprised at how much I was able to eat. One thing I did notice is that my spoon speed was sort of slowing me down. So I felt like if I could have moved a little bit faster with that, I would’ve been able to get those extra couple that I needed to beat the record. – Yeah, anytime the spoon is in the air, baby food is not going into your mouth. So, if I can find a device that eliminates that, and gets a constant flow of baby food inside of me, I think we have a really great chance of, like, smashing it. Like, not only just breaking the record, but I mean, like, really embarrassing Andre, cause that is my goal now. He’s my nemesis, I’ve decided. Like, no holds barred this time. I’m done palling around with the Steven Ruppels of the world. Like, now is time to get a little angry on it. You know, a little Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis didn’t run into the hole, thinking like, “Oh, I am going to be nice “to the running back and tackle.” No, Ray Lewis hit that with ferocity and intensity. He blew through the tackle! This is not contact sport, Ben, this is a collision sport! God, I’m all jacked up! Let’s find Lucas. Lucas! (air wooshing) I know how much you all love watching me gorge myself on baby food. But I just wanted to let you know that if you’d like to see more shows like this one, subscribe to the Mythical YouTube channel. If enough of you subscribe, I’ll get to make even more awesome food shows. Don’t forget to click the bell for notifications and more importantly don’t forget to floss. That’s just some good common sense. (air wooshing) Hey, Lucas! – [Lucas] Ey-o! – That was cool. First of all, how is your day going? – It’s great, thanks for asking this time. – Yeah, no problem. – How is your day going? – Good, I care about you both as a friend and someone who can do things for me. – I like that we have got that between us. – [Josh] Okay, so I need you to figure out a way to get as much baby food inside of me as possible. The record is held by someone who’s using a spoon, but we figured we need something as a constant flow. – Great, so I wanna get, like, sort of a big syringe. And just kinda like inject it into your mouth like really fast. – I have a fear of needles. – Okay, so I wanna, like, drop a big balloon full of it, onto your face from the roof. – I have a fear of heights. Not me being high, but other things being high coming at me. – Paintball gun, straight to the mouth? That’s really fast. – You shot me last time and I really didn’t enjoy it. – It wasn’t a paintball gun. – [Josh] Close enough. – But yeah, no, I get it. First and foremost, like you’re a party guy, I’m a party guy. We like to go out to clubs every Friday night. Like we really bumping, banging. – We do, we party. – And we can just beer bong it straight into your gullet. – I think that’s a good idea. – [Lucas] Yeah, it’s gravity, It’s gravity. And it’s gravity. It’ll work. – And it’ll get consistent flow of baby food right into me. You ever beer bong baby food? – Yeah. – [Josh] Yeah? – Yeah, dude I went to college. Chug it down. – [Josh] Let’s do it. – Great – Sign me up. – [Lucas] I love it. What else is up? – I don’t know, man. You know, just kinda just been like really trying to focus on me these days. – Cool, cool. – Nix, I think so many times, we get caught up in what other people think. – We really do. – And then we forget to actually really take care of ourselves. – I try to live, laugh, love everyday. – Yeah, I just eat, pray, love. – Really? – Yeah – Well, that’s different. We’ll talk about it. (air wooshing) As you can see, we’ve loaded all the baby food into this baby bong. We tried to put about three pounds in it, so that’s more than the record, just to be sure. Lucas has weighed himself, holding the baby bong. – Yep. – And then we will weigh it after I do it to see if we have completed the record. I have never been more uncomfortable than I am right now. – What about this is concerning you? – The hole is so big, there’s so much gravity. I thought it was going to be– – You told me you wanted a bong! I don’t understand. – You know what, there’s no point in fighting about it. – You’re going to love it, dude. – All right, so what do I do? Like, I release the clamp and I just hold it? – Yeah, your tiny little trigger back there and you’re going to really to hold it. Cause it’s in the end of the other one. And don’t press it, yeah. There you go. That’s gonna pull it out. Don’t press the other trigger. You’re just you’re biffing it right now. There you go! Oh, okay. Let’s drop it. – All right. – As soon as you unpalm that, it is gonna blow you down. – [Josh] Oh, I hate this. Okay, Chris? – [Chris] You ready? – You got the timer? – [Lucas] Just go. – No, I’m not ready! – [Chris] All right! – [Lucas] You’re ready. – All right, I am ready. Okay. – [Chris] Ready! Set! Go! (intense music) – [Chris] Oh, my God. – [Lucas] Keep it in your mouth. Yes! (Josh gagging) – [Lucas] Keep it in your mouth! Do you want this? (Josh sputtering) – [Lucas] I can’t stop it. You gotta suck it up. – [Josh] No, no! This is a terrible idea! Lucas! Lucas, just gotta turn off the thing! – I can’t turn it off! – Turn off the gravity! – [Lucas] You said you were gonna eat all of it! – [Chris] You have a goatee of baby food! – Lucas, take it back. – [Lucas] I can’t it back! Don’t hand it! – [Josh] Take it back! We’re not doing the bong! This doesn’t count! Lucas, figure that out. That was a terrible idea. That’s such a big hole, I thought it was going to be like, a modest, you said baby bong, I imagined a baby-sized bong. – You walked into my office and you said “I want to eat three pounds of baby food.” And now you’re getting mad that I made you eat three pounds of baby food! – I can see the confusion. – There is no confusion. – I need to work on my communication skill. – I think so! Let’s not criticize old Lucas. – We’ll workshop it later, but for now I need another way. – Let’s circle back, but let’s be sure that we stay friends. – Luke, I’m sorry I raised my voice. – Thank you for apologizing. Chris? Apologize to Chris, too. – Chris, I’m very sorry. – Apology accepted. – [Josh] You didn’t even, we just dragged you out of your office. – Well, time’s up, by the way. Turn’s over. – I know, I figured that. (air wooshing) Hindsight is 20 – 20. We might have overthought the beer bong. We don’t need cleaver devices. What we need is guts, heart, and an open mouth. – [Lucas] Yeah. – Clear eyes, open mouth, can’t lose. – Heart. – Chris, we have you here to keep time. You’re gonna give me a ready, set, go. One minute on the clock. That’s, we need to beat the record. Lucas! – Yeah! – Color commentator! – Okay! – You’re high energy. You’re funny guy. – I am. – [Josh] You have funny quips. We also need you to check my mouth like a horse. – Okay. – [Josh] Okay. So, the number, 4,118 grams, that means that if it’s below 3,068, I’ve broken the record, after 1 minute. – Yeah. Yeah, yeah, that is right. – [Josh] Got it. (air wooshing) – Ready, set, Go! – Okay, get spoon fed. Okay, he’s got first in, second in, third in. God, he sucking it down. This is like a man in the Sahara, finding an oasis made of baby food, but not made of babies. Don’t forget to breathe. (Josh slurping) Got a pretty steady rate. What’s he at? 25 seconds. (Josh slurping) – 30 seconds! – It’s okay, don’t stop to breathe. I changed my mind. – Think of me, Josh. – Oh, God, the sound. If you were in a dark house – 15 seconds! – and you just heard this sound, ugh! – 10! Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five! Four! Three! Two! One! – Spoon down. (spoon clinks) (Josh groans) Yeah, no, it’s out. – (groans) I feel alive! (air wooshing) – I don’t, dude. I feel terrible. – You look bad. – Someone’s gotta weigh it. We gotta weigh it! Guys, we gotta know! – You want us to weigh it? – I don’t, do I have to? Do I gotta be the one to weigh it? – [Lucas] Yeah, you weigh it, Josh. – 3,068 – [Lucas] Tare it. – I’m so nervous. – (whispering) Everything rides on us. 2,025! Nice! – We got a world record, baby! [Mythical Crew Cheers] We did it! We did it, finally. Yes! This is for you, my baby boy! Our baby boy, Davin! – [Crew Member] It goes over! – No, you did this! Each and every fan out there, you made this possible! The world is just one big organism. All your energy flowed through me today! We’re bringing the belt back to America, away from Germany. Clear eyes, open mouths, can’t lose. 1,528. Your move Andre! That’s the new record. We just set the standard, back in the U.S.A, back on home soil. – Woo! We got it! – I’m all jacked up on baby food.
