MK 330: How To Make Waffle Fries From Scratch

Here’s how you make waffle fries from scratch way better than these guys. This here’s called a crinkle cut mandoline slicer. This here’s called a potato. Take a potato, couple clean slices. And then you rotate it 90 degrees and then slice. And then rotate 90 and slice. And rotate 90 and slice. And do not cut yourself. And then check it out. You got waffle fries. You could just fry them up. But I like to make a nice little wet batter with a bunch of Tony Chachere’s. Throw some extra paprika in there to make it red. Little bit of Topo Chico, best soda water in the game. And then whisk it up. We’re gonna do like a really thin, wet batter on these fries to make them nice and crispy. Throw are a couple ice cubes in there to keep it super cold. Now we’re gonna take our waffle fries, gonna dip in the wet batter and toss them in. Ding! Waffle fries are done. Oh god. Should probably wait. Oh, so tasty though. Like if we’re comparing them, you know, they got the thicker. But test out the crunch. This was one of the better french fry eating experiences. Take that!
